The place called "Shinchi" seems like an unlikely spot for yakiniku (Japanese BBQ). This restaurant has been quietly operating without any special promotions, yet it has been gaining popularity solely through word of mouth. The reasons behind this popularity are the delicious taste, quality of the meat, and the thoughtful preparation. In a time when many yakiniku restaurants are overly pretentious, this place offers straightforwardly delicious meat that satisfies the craving for authentic flavor. Despite this, it is still relatively easy to make a reservation, making it a hidden gem. They also have a great selection of drinks, with the "Newspaper" sake I tried being rich and perfect for yakiniku. It is literally wrapped in newspaper, with the idea being that the money saved on packaging is invested into the quality of the sake itself. On this particular day, matsutake mushrooms and Chateaubriand sukiyaki were served, and they were unbelievably delicious.

Sukiyaki Dinner ★ After a meeting in Kita-Shinchi Umeda, I decided to go drinking in Shinchi with the president of the client company. We felt like having hot pot, so we searched and decided on "Wagyu Matsushita Kamidori Store." The orders were as follows: - Special Wagyu Sukiyaki Course 2 - Kagoshima Prefecture Black Wagyu Chateaubriand (additional) - Kagoshima Prefecture Sirloin (additional) - Grated Daikon Radish - Draft Beer x4 - Burgundy Pinot Noir Full Bottle The course included: - 4 slices of meat (140g each) - Vegetables - Wagyu nigiri sushi (lean meat, medium fatty tuna) - Thin udon noodles - Sorbet We started with the Wagyu nigiri sushi, with lean meat and medium fatty tuna each. The meat was thick compared to others, but it was tender and had a sweet flavor. Then we had the sukiyaki, using the highest-grade Kagoshima A5 rank Wagyu Sirloin. The first piece was dipped in their homemade sauce and special egg, "Nokorogashi," then the rest were cooked with vegetables. The meat was cut into large pieces, providing a satisfying chew and spreading the meat's umami and sweetness in the mouth. It was incredibly delicious! We couldn't resist and ended up ordering additional Chateaubriand and Sirloin. Towards the end, we added grated Daikon Radish for a refreshing taste after the sweetness of the sukiyaki. We finished with the thin udon noodles and mango sorbet. It was a delicious sukiyaki experience, and most customers around us were ordering yakiniku (grilled meat), so we are looking forward to trying that next time.

Here, due to record-breaking heavy rain in Osaka, I was stuck and decided to visit this restaurant to enjoy some delicious food. I made a reservation over the phone for the "Master Course." The quality of the meat in each dish was high and delicious! The course included various ways to enjoy the meat, such as grilling it normally, cooking it as a steak, sushi, and yakiniku. The Chateaubriand steak and thickly sliced salted tongue were particularly delicious. Furthermore, the beef toro ikura chazuke and sweet and sour amaou strawberry ice cream for dessert were also of high quality, and I was very satisfied. Despite feeling down due to being stuck in the heavy rain, I was able to lift my spirits through the food. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

On our wedding anniversary, my wife and I went to a yakiniku restaurant for the second time. This time, we ordered the luxurious tasting course. From the assorted namul and kimchi to the rare wagyu steak, everything was delicious. It was a treat to eat such rare and high-quality meat. The different sauces complemented each type of meat perfectly. We were both very satisfied and enjoyed every bite. We finished every dish and left the restaurant feeling happy. We will definitely come back for our next anniversary. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Kenzo Estate, here it is! A famous restaurant in Kitashinchi, Matsushita-san. I have a memory of having yakiniku at this restaurant's year-end party a long time ago. Somehow this time, I felt like having sukiyaki and traced back my memory to this place. The sukiyaki course offers a selection of meats, with Chateaubriand requiring reservation by the day before. I didn't realize it was by reservation, so I didn't specify, but they kindly called to confirm on the day. Since I wasn't the one holding the wallet, we had to pass on the Chateaubriand. The taste was elegant and light, so I didn't experience the usual heartburn from eating meat. You have to cook the food yourself in the pot, so it may not be suitable for business entertainment. There was a bottle of KENZO Estate on display, which brought joy.

When having a year-end party in Kitashinchi, this restaurant where you can enjoy top-quality yakiniku is highly recommended. In particular, the Harami and Sotolira are incredibly delicious, unlike anything I've had before. The "Takumi Course for 13,000 yen" offers 13 generous servings of meat, making it a great value right in the heart of Kitashinchi. The atmosphere is also great, so I would love to visit again.

The meat has a tender texture♪ The flavor of the thoroughly simmered meat is exquisite! The "Black Wagyu Shigureju" looks like a beef bowl and it's a dish that I got hooked on after visiting the Matsushita Wagyu restaurant on Hon-dori street last month! It may seem expensive compared to the nearby beef bowl shops at just 1,000 yen, but the quality of the ingredients used is completely different. While warm, you can feel the aroma of burdock along with the beef and onions. Even when it cools down, the well-seasoned simmered meat melts in your mouth perfectly. The Matsushita restaurant on Kami-dori street has a sophisticated exterior that truly reflects the high-class atmosphere of Kita-Shinchi. The friendly and polite service from the staff makes you feel like you're receiving top-notch customer service. The overall rating for taste, service, atmosphere, and cost performance is above 3.5 stars, with an average of 3.7. I may have been a bit generous with the ratings, but the restaurant truly excelled in many aspects. I made a late-night reservation for a Saturday night visit this time, but I definitely want to try their yakiniku next time! If you happen to be nearby, I highly recommend paying a visit to the Matsushita Wagyu Kami-dori restaurant!

I used this restaurant for a late dinner during my business trip to Osaka. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the "Koda Building" in the upscale area of "Uedori" in Kita-Shinchi, Osaka. I made a same-day reservation by phone and visited around 10:00 pm on a weekday. We ordered the "premium salted tongue" (1900 yen), "premium Harami" (2300 yen), "garlic foil grill" (800 yen), "yam kimchi" (750 yen), "roast beef yukke" (1900 yen), "hachinosu" (780 yen), "premium tripe" (1300 yen), "stone-grilled bibimbap" (1200 yen), and "tail soup" (1600 yen). For drinks, we had "draft beer" (680 yen), "whiskey highball" (700 yen), and "oolong tea" (500 yen). The prices were reasonable for the location. The restaurant had private rooms, but there were many young customers, and it felt a bit noisy when we visited.

Visit date and time: 18:20 on a weekday Wait time: Reservation Menu: Course + additional order I used it for a farewell party. I have used the Hon-dori store before, but this was my first visit to the Kami-dori store. It's a bit hard to find because it's tucked away in the back. We ordered a course where we could try a little bit of everything. The meat was of good quality, but the course was really light, so we ended up ordering more. It ended up being more expensive than we thought. If you want to eat a lot, it's probably better to go for a higher-priced course from the beginning. Thank you for the meal.

I had a lunch of Wagyu roast beef bowl. The meat was delicious and satisfying with its fat. The grilled Truffle sushi rolls were so tasty that I had seconds. The oxtail soup and meat sushi were also delicious. Every dish was satisfying and it was the best.

I might not make it in time for the opening... I used my smartphone to check the location and managed to find it, but it was closed? It was supposed to open at 11:00... Maybe it's because of COVID... What should I do? I noticed another restaurant nearby but... I really wanted to try the lunch here, which is only available on Saturdays... There seem to be several other branch stores nearby according to the map... Should I try going there instead? Oh, this one is also a famous restaurant? (I later found out that both of them are actually highly rated... I haven't been checking much about yakiniku restaurants because they tend to be expensive) But it seems that this restaurant opens at 11:30... I made a reservation, passed the time around the area, returned, and was seated at a sunken table... I ordered the limited yakiniku lunch... They didn't ask about drinks, but that's fine... The prices are reasonable compared to the previous steakhouse. The appetizer arrived... Wow, it looks fancy... The salad is delicious... The tongue arrived... It's okay... The wagyu beef offal meat arrived... The Miyazaki beef is delicious! It's tender and tasty... This is really good... The rice and miso soup are made with good ingredients. I paid 2000 yen with PayPay... I will visit again next time.
