This is a cafe located near Kikusui Station in Shiroishi Ward, Sapporo City. I had been curious about their meat sauce for a long time. On my first visit, I was impressed by the extensive menu options. I ended up ordering the meat sauce. The noodles were thick and soft, cooked in a stir-fry style on a hot plate, slightly burnt. The meat sauce turned out to be more of a demi-glace style than a tomato-based one. Although it was quite tasty and should have been my type, for some reason, it didn't quite hit the spot for me. I wonder if it was due to the gap between my expectations from looking at photos on Tabelog. Nevertheless, I am interested in trying other items on the menu, so I would like to visit again. It's convenient to have a parking lot even though it's close to the station. Thank you for the meal~ (^_^)

The piping hot Napolitan is irresistible to those from the Showa generation. It's the classic Napolitan with chewy noodles, sweet onions, green peppers, thinly sliced sausage, and crispy breaded cutlet. The hamburger curry that my friend ordered was just okay, nothing special.

I have visited this restaurant a few times since my first visit this year, and it has been a great place. The specialty dish, napokatsu and spakatsu, is delicious, but I especially love the omurice which suits my taste perfectly and is very tasty! The rice is delicious, but what I really appreciate about this place is the cheerful attitude of the owner and the female staff, as well as their attention to detail and thoughtfulness.

Today, I went shopping with my daughter and my wife. We drove down Minamisato Street to the Tanuki Koji area. On the way, we noticed a sign for Napokatsu in the Kikusui area. After shopping, we stopped by for lunch. The restaurant was small, with only six other customers. My family of three sat at the counter. Due to the bird flu situation, the owner informed us that egg dishes would be an additional 100 yen. No problem. I ordered the Napokatsu SP for 1,080 yen, my wife ordered the fluffy and creamy omurice for 1,020 yen, and my daughter ordered the spakatsu meat for 1,080 yen. The dishes were served sizzling on hot plates. The combination of Napokatsu and spaghetti is a match made in heaven. I was sure this would become my favorite. The portions were generous and satisfying. I dug in right away, savoring the flavors. Adding lemon juice brought a subtle acidity that complemented the ketchup and cutlet. It was delicious. I also enjoyed changing up the flavors with Tabasco, powdered cheese, and more. Before I knew it, I had finished my meal. It was a delightful dining experience.

I've been curious about this place for a while and finally got a chance to visit. The interior has an American feel with two women working diligently. The restaurant has been featured in numerous TV programs from Hokkaido. On this day, I ordered the Teppanyaki-style spaghetti for 860 yen, the deluxe version for 1580 yen, a melon soda for 440 yen, and a strawberry milk for 500 yen. Everything was delicious and enjoyable. Just make sure to mix the noodles well while eating, as they can become tough if left on the hot griddle for too long. Enjoy your meal with this in mind.

There was a legendary coffee shop in Obihiro. They had a guilty menu called "Coffee King" and "Chee-mee". I wanted to eat it again, but sadly it closed down. Chee-mee (˘꒳˘) I wonder if there's anywhere else that serves it... It wasn't on a hot plate, but I found it on a plate. I pretended to look at the menu and quickly ordered it. Let's eat! A stretchy hot cheese and a smooth fusion of coffee shop-style meat sauce. The chewy spaghetti that seemed to have been boiled and left to rest yesterday ♡ It's delicious just as I thought it would be. It was exactly the taste I was expecting. Even though it was served on a plate, it was full of nostalgia in my mouth.

I came to "Cafe Meromero" because I wanted to eat my favorite spaghetti carbonara. I was seated at a table for two and ordered the spaghetti carbonara with meat sauce and oolong tea. They asked if I wanted my drink first, and I said yes, so my drink arrived promptly. After about 5 minutes, the soup was served. Then, 5 minutes later, the spaghetti carbonara with meat sauce arrived. It sizzled on the hot plate as it was brought to the table. It had meat sauce on top of the pasta, with a tonkatsu cutlet. There was also a little bit of meat sauce on top of the tonkatsu. I tried it as it was first, then added some powdered cheese for a different flavor, and finally added some Tabasco sauce. It remained piping hot until the last bite, and it was absolutely delicious. Ψ(__)m

Due to the smoking policy, children under 20 were not allowed to enter the restaurant, but the owner kindly offered us to sit on the second floor. The second floor was a cozy space equipped with a bed, washing machine, refrigerator, stove, air conditioner, bath, toilet, sink, microwave, and TV.
Napokatsu SP 1080 yen
The bottom part of the napoli tan is crispy and delicious. The onions are crunchy and the sausage is tasty. The cutlet is freshly fried and crispy.
Fluffy Omelette Rice 920 yen
Fluffy eggs with ketchup rice. The demiglace sauce was easy to eat and delicious. The soup had a good amount of pepper and was quite tasty.
Strawberry Milk 500 yen
The milk flavor is strong and the sweetness is mild. When mixed with strawberries, it has a perfect level of sweetness and is delicious.
Baked Pudding and Drink Set 680 yen
The pudding was surprisingly soft, and the slightly bitter caramel sauce combined well with it. The coffee was also delicious. They provide water, tissues, Tabasco sauce, cheese, paper towels, chopsticks, forks, and spoons.

I visited for lunch. It had been about 1 year and 5 months since I last came here. It's not a place I visit often, probably because it's close to home. This time, I ordered the "Teppan Napolitan". The Napolitan served on a hot teppan is amazing. It's best to eat it while it's still hot. It's so delicious, even though it's hot and I might burn my mouth! I would like to come back again. Thank you for the meal!٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

Today, I came here to get that. The menu that serves as a pronoun on the huge sign hanging at the entrance of the restaurant! It is the Napo-katsu SP and my partner ordered the Yaki-chiimi. Last time I was here, I was unsure if I could finish the Napo-katsu SP, so I ordered the omurice instead. But today, I was very hungry and in the best condition with no alcohol in my system! Well, not that exaggerated though ¯\( ˘–˘ )/¯ The Napo-katsu SP that arrived in front of me was not as voluminous as I thought. In a way, I felt relieved and thought, "Hmm." First, I tried the katsu. It was tender, and the combination with the Napolitan sauce was delicious. I really like this seasoning (っ´ω`c)マッ... The thick noodles provided a satisfying chew, why was I worried about the volume? I finished it in no time. The satisfaction level was 100%. I exchanged halfway with my partner's Yaki-chiimi, but honestly, I wanted my Napo-katsu SP back. She seemed to really like it ( ˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈ ) Next time, for some reason, I want to try the ikura don in this atmosphere. A request to the restaurant staff: please provide paper napkins. I will definitely come back.

Finally visited for the third time! Manbo, the first two times I tried to visit during the state of emergency, but they were closed. Finally got in this time. The shop is located in a corner with a big sign, and even though there is no parking lot, customers keep coming. The shop is run by two lovely female owners. I ordered the Spaghetti with Pork Cutlet Meat for 980 yen, and enjoyed it with a beer on my day off. The pork cutlet was authentic and went well with the stir-fried spaghetti. The meat sauce was also delicious. I was so impressed by finally being able to visit and the food was just as I had imagined. If only it was closer, I would go every day. By the way, the Meat Sauce Spaghetti is okay to have every day too. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The afternoon sun, shining with the last of its strength, had a powerful yet somewhat melancholic and wistful light. I let myself be carried away by the strong wind blowing occasionally. It seemed to guide me anywhere, whimsically and without intention. It led me through the heart of the city to a green oasis that I had unexpectedly stumbled upon. I couldn't see inside from the outside, but a large sign on the wall provided a clue. And so, I entered the enchanting maze... Instead of a hard-boiled master, two female staff members greeted me at the counter. The place exuded a nostalgic American charm, reminiscent of the 1980s. The menu was filled with intriguing items that made it hard to decide what to order. But I eventually settled on the "Napokatsu Special" listed on the large sign. As I savored the dish, a sudden downpour outside contrasted with the comforting warmth of the meal. The nostalgic flavors of the spaghetti and tonkatsu transported me back to a bygone era. It was a magical experience, a blend of whimsy and nostalgia in a mysterious maze of a restaurant. Perhaps I'll be guided back here by the wind again someday...

A cafe & bar located near my house. I visited around 1 pm, so the lunch rush was over and there was only one customer. Since smoking is allowed here, I think it's popular among smokers during lunchtime. It's perfect for me since I don't like smoke. I chose the fluffy omurice from the menu priced at 850 yen. I always end up ordering omurice. I wonder how it will taste here. While waiting, I looked for the dinner menu but couldn't find it. Maybe it's the same as lunch menu since it's a cafe & bar. The omurice had a normal portion size, which was a relief as I was expecting a larger portion. The sauce was demi-glace, not the cheap, flashy taste of omurice specialty stores, but the original flavor. I think the Showa era flavor is the best for omurice. Maybe it's because I'm an old man. Since I liked the taste, I definitely want to come back next time to try the "Napokatsu SP." I'm sure it will be a heavy dish.

It's a cafe during the day and a bar at night. The place opens at 11 am but recently they've been opening at 12 pm. It's a small place, with a maximum capacity of about 10 people. I tried the Spam rice bowl for 850 yen, which was interesting. It had Spam seasoned with salt and pepper, topped with a fried egg. The sauce they serve with it is original, with a soy sauce base and a hint of lemon. The meal also came with salad, soup, and a small side dish. Despite only offering cafe-style dishes like Napolitan and curry, the place seemed quite popular. I saw it was crowded every time I passed by. I tried making my own Spam rice bowl at home inspired by this place, and it was easy to make but I was surprised by how expensive Spam is. The cost was about 1/4 of the selling price.

Chikusui Station, a 2-minute walk away, seems to be closed on Tuesdays. It has an old-fashioned coffee shop atmosphere, run by two women. I've been curious about it for a while, but since it's close by, I kept putting off going. With my move coming up soon, I decided to visit while I still could! It was a bit late for lunch, but the place was packed!! Perhaps due to social distancing measures as well. I had already decided on my order - napokatsu and spakatsu!! It was served piping hot on a sizzling plate in less than 15 minutes. The noodles were thick and chewy, but the taste didn't get boring. Thick noodles can sometimes be tiring, you know. The sauce was also really good! It stayed hot until the last bite, and the noodles didn't get soggy. I might like it more than a certain famous spakatsu. haha I had read reviews saying the portions were big, so I thought I could only eat about half and give the rest to my husband... but I ended up finishing it all ╰( ・ ᗜ ・ )➝ My stomach has been acting weird lately... but it was delicious!! I might skip dinner tonight. I was also curious about the pudding on the menu, but I decided to pass on it this time. Maybe next time I'll try the pudding!

I've been living around here for years but have never been to this place. Every time I pass by, I think it looks delicious. The atmosphere is like a coffee shop, a space that makes you want to visit. In fact, there seem to be many regular customers, and it's heartwarming to see the two female staff chatting happily. When it comes to coffee shop menus, you can't miss the Napolitan! This place is famous for Napolitan cutlet and spaghetti cutlet. The pudding is also said to be delicious. I was thinking of trying the pudding too, but I couldn't eat it. I ordered the Napolitan cutlet special for 980 yen. The staff were so efficient! They worked together without saying a word, like a skilled couple. It's a bit difficult to eat because it comes on a hot plate, but it stays warm until the end, which is nice. The noodles are soft and chewy, with sausages and green peppers, a Napolitan that I like. And a huge cutlet on top!! Plus, there's cheese on it, so it's special in every way (laughs). There's no way it's not delicious. I didn't get to try the pudding, and I'm curious about the shrimp pilaf. I will definitely come back! Thank you for the meal.

【Memo】The thick noodles pasta with napo-katsu SP has a great flavor. The katsu was crispy and delicious, fitting for an SP dish. However, it's a bit painful that there is no dedicated parking lot, so you have to pay for a coin parking.

I visited for lunch. It's been about 2 years since I last came here. It's close to home, but I don't visit often. It was crowded at lunchtime. Luckily, there was space at the counter. This time, I ordered the "Spa Katsu Meat." The meat spaghetti here is delicious. It comes out on a hot plate. The katsu is also delicious. I think the toppings are always good. Next time, I want to come and try the Napolitan. Thank you for the meal.

I came to a cafe near Kikusui Station. I had some soft serve ice cream and took a break before coming here. It's a place I was curious about when I passed by before. Now it looks like a CAFE & BAR, but I wonder if they still have a bar? There are menus for set meals posted all over, so maybe they don't have a bar anymore? There is one very overweight customer, and one female customer. Everyone is sitting at the counter. The very overweight man ordered a large portion of Napolitan Katsu, a large portion of rice, pudding, and a drink set. I decided to just order something normal. I ordered the Napolitan Katsu SP for 980 yen including tax. Two women are running the place. Are they sisters? They are cooking efficiently with a serious look on their faces. The Napolitan Katsu is served on a hot plate with katsu, cheese, and spaghetti. It feels like an American dream. First, I had the soup. It was just a delicious soup with a good amount of black pepper. The Napolitan Katsu is different from spaghetti with katsu as it has sauce on the katsu. The katsu has a good amount of fat and tastes great. The spaghetti is slightly soft with ketchup coating it well, and the cheese adds a nice flavor. I added plenty of powdered cheese on top, making it feel like a high-calorie drip, and I was very satisfied. I feel like I should have ordered the large portion for more volume. The previous customer was sweating while struggling, but he seemed to enjoy his meal. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered the baked pudding and drink set! The pudding had a gentle, traditional taste with a strong egg flavor. It was only 680 yen for the set! I'm also interested in trying their classic dishes like iron plate Neapolitan and shrimp pilaf next time for lunch. Check out more details here ☟ Enjoy a nostalgic baked pudding set at "CAFE&BAR Merimero" ♡
