A charcoal-grilled chicken restaurant located just across Yotsubashi-suji from Kitashinchi. First visit. One of the top 100 chicken restaurants. The quality is quite high. ・Prosciutto ・Hug body, crispy texture ・Sand liver, crunchy with a good bite ・Water stew, with cabbage, leeks, and yuzu pepper ・Negima, tender thigh meat ・Hocho sword, super dry sake from Hiroshima ・Burdock tempura ・Hinai chicken wing tips ・Quail eggs, rich and sweet ・Pate de campagne, with pickles like a hamburger ・Caciocavallo cheese, crispy with a grilled flavor ・Kawachi duck sukiyaki ・Okra, large size from Kyoto but originally from Israel ・Kashiwa, basic taste ・Tsukune, salt with chicken breast ・Shime ramen, soy sauce chicken-based ramen not commonly found in Kansai. I always thought that I couldn't miss out on the chance to enjoy authentic local chicken. This time, I decided to try the 16-course dinner menu. The skewers were delicious, but I also enjoyed the chicken prosciutto, savoring each dish slowly. The restaurant is located just a street away from the bustling nightlife of Kitashinchi, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere.

It was really great. The yakitori was delicious and each skewer was cooked perfectly from start to finish. I had no complaints at all, it was a perfect course. The drinks were good too and I definitely want to go back to this yakitori restaurant! Thank you for the meal! Oh, I will definitely go back!

I went there twice in the past and it was so delicious that it moved me. However, it was difficult to make a reservation after that. I finally managed to make a reservation one month ago and today I was able to go there for the first time in two years. The yakitori is still stylish as ever, but the taste seems to have become a bit lighter. I got pretty full with the course menu, but ended up adding two more skewers. It was actually cheaper than I expected, so I was happy about that.

Sorry for the mistake in the name "Matsusato". The restaurant has a strong Western influence, so even though it's a yakitori place, I ended up switching from hot sake to wine halfway through. Despite being overwhelmed by the thick Gunma burdock sticks and the bread-wrapped pate de campagne, I managed to make it to the last menu item. Watching the customers next to me order seconds of the burdock sticks and additional yakitori made me confront my own "aging"...

The famous owner of the market in Kitashinchi, "Yakitori Matsusato," is operating in Dojima. They are a Michelin Bib Gourmand and one of the top 100 yakitori restaurants. I made a reservation through OMAKASE website one month in advance. The restaurant starts serving promptly at 6 pm on weekends, so it's important to be on time. They called to confirm the reservation the day before. The entrance is hidden, with a semi-private table in the front and a counter with 8 seats. It seemed to be evenly split between men and women, and of course, it was fully booked. The "Hinai-jidori Omakase Course" includes 16 dishes for 7,150 yen, tax included. It features Hinai-jidori chicken sashimi, chicken breast with wasabi, chicken thigh hot pot, chicken wing, quail pate with bread, Hokkaido Gold Rush beer, Kachokabaro cheese, Kawauchi duck sukiyaki, liver, tsukune, and bonjiri (additional charge). The course also includes soy sauce ramen and dessert (watermelon and pineapple). I love bottled beer, especially Super Dry (^-^), while my sister enjoyed a strawberry sake soda for the toast. We finished our work before the Obon holiday and were feeling liberated. When I mentioned that I had visited Kitamatsu in May, the staff said, "I'm nervous." The Hinai-jidori chicken sashimi was amazing, and the chicken wings were firm and delicious. The appearance of the cow parsnip fry resembled churros, with a moist and perfectly salty taste. The tsukune was coarsely ground and meaty, very delicious. Before finishing, we added bonjiri for both of us. We also finished the soy sauce ramen soup completely. The owner is focused on grilling and the cooking was perfect, everything was delicious. The atmosphere was great, and the service was good in terms of timing and drink refills. If I had to nitpick, the strawberry sake soda was a bit weak. With 2 drinks each and an additional drink, the total bill came to 18,900 yen. Both of us are not strong drinkers, so it was affordable! We had a fulfilling and enjoyable 2-hour experience. There is also a shorter course available at 5,500 yen with 12 dishes, but I recommend the full course for a more satisfying meal. I visited Matsusato, who received seseri at the Yakitori Tatsujin no Kai Osaka for the first time. I will write down my thoughts based on the comments of other people. - The first skewer: The furi-sodekono skewer was so delicious that I could be satisfied with just that one. The meat, the fat of the meat, the grilling, and the seasoning were all excellent. - Chicken and takuan wrapped in seaweed: This was the first dish, and the seaweed absorbed moisture, which was a bit disappointing (my fault for being late). - Kurokawa: The excess fat dripped off, making it easy to eat like Hakata's skin, and it was addictively delicious. - Drinks: Started with sweet white wine, then switched to a refreshing white wine (Fusion), and also had a few different types of sake with varying flavors. The lineup was satisfying and not boring. - Skewers placed tilted to the right for easy picking with the right hand also made for cute photos. - Grilled cheese: It had a unique taste that paired well with wine and became addictive. This is a famous yakitori restaurant in Dojima (≧∇≦). The interior, dominated by black, has a counter with 8 seats and one table in the front. This restaurant is part of the renowned Kitashinchi Ichimatsu Group, known for its Michelin-starred status. The head chef, Wada-san, carries on the tradition of using authentic ingredients like Hinai-jidori chicken, just like Mr. Ichimatsu. They have also earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand, making them quite impressive! The set course starts at 7000 yen, offering great value for money. It has become a popular spot that is difficult to reserve, unlike when it first opened, which is a shame. This time, I had the privilege of visiting for a private booking. The dinner course included various dishes such as raw Hinai-jidori chicken, Hinai-jidori ham, Hinai-jidori skewers, Hinai-jidori skin-on skewers, Hinai-jidori hot pot with yuzu pepper, negima skewers, new burdock tempura, chicken wing tips, chicken pate sandwich, quail soy sauce pickles, seaweed-wrapped Kachokabaro cheese, Gold Rush corn, Kawachi duck sukiyaki, kokoro skewers, tsukune finale, and chicken ramen. The "Ichimatsu faction" to "Matsuzato". This faction operates with a very clear concept. Their signature feature is the daikon slice for chopstick rest and chopstick break. One unique aspect is that the prices for additional skewers outside of the course menu are completely unknown. By the time of additional orders, customers are usually drunk and don't care about the prices, so they cleverly take advantage of this customer psychology as part of their business strategy. Drunk customers or boys trying to impress their date cannot ask, "How much is it?" The taste is of course very delicious. There seems to be a limited variety of sake, or maybe hidden stock doesn't come out unless you are recognized as a regular customer, but there is plenty of wine available.

The chicken ham meat from Ohinadori was delicious! The chicken tenderloin was also incredibly tasty! Other dishes such as Seseri hot pot, green onion skewers, quail in soy sauce, liver pate, Kachokabaro, Rakkyo from Kagoshima Prefecture, duck sukiyaki, liver meatballs, chicken ramen from Hichinidori, and strawberries from Shizuoka were all delicious! Among them, the chicken tenderloin was really juicy and delicious. Chicken meat is just so easy to eat, isn't it? ♩

I was lucky to get a reservation from a certain website and was looking forward to visiting! The place was near Shinchi and when we arrived at 6:00, both the counter and private rooms were full. We ordered a course meal, while the regular customers at the counter and in the private rooms seemed to be ordering a la carte. The variety of drinks was abundant and delicious! When we heard that the chef was from Ichimatsu, a nearby restaurant, we felt that the style of cooking was indeed similar.

It was a very good restaurant. Not only was the food delicious, but the sincere response and thoughtfulness of the staff made for an enjoyable meal. The restaurant is filled with hospitality and delicious food, making it a wonderful place to dine! I was very satisfied! I learned how to enjoy and season Hichinai chicken, something that is not easily found elsewhere. As I rode the train home comfortably, I couldn't help but keep saying, "That was delicious!" Eating a meal is the moment when I think, "I'm glad I did." Thank you for the meal! I purposely did not include photos of the food. I don't want it to become difficult to make a reservation, haha. Please try Matsusato if you have the chance.

All the dishes on the menu are delicious! The staff are also very friendly. They have a wide selection of drinks, and I ended up having about 5 glasses. We also ordered some skewers as an extra and it came to a little over 10,000 yen per person. They were being modest by saying they are not yet Bib Gourmand, but personally, I would give them a Michelin three-star rating.

The moment I entered, I was filled with a sense of luxury and excitement from the stylish ambient lighting! The appetizer that came out was Hinai-jidori chicken ham! The salty ham had a refined taste that stimulated my appetite and led to even more excitement! The skewers were grilled by the owner himself, and the seasoning was excellent! I was surprised by the small hot pot, chicken sukiyaki, and burdock tempura that came in between the skewers! The hot pot and sukiyaki were served in small dishes, making them stylish and easy to eat! I tried burdock tempura for the first time, and it was soft with an increased root vegetable flavor, and the irresistible aroma of burdock and the soft, fragrant aroma of sweet potatoes were amazing! For the finish, I had a simple and delicious soy sauce ramen made with chicken broth! The atmosphere was very stylish and the staff were friendly and pleasant to talk to! I would love to visit again!

We started with a refreshing draft beer and enjoyed the following dishes: - Chicken sashimi with grated radish and wasabi - Grilled chicken tenderloin with wasabi - Gizzard - Chicken hot pot - Chicken and green onion skewers - Deep-fried burdock - Chicken wings - Quail eggs - Pate de Campagne - Seaweed-wrapped cheese rolls with Kachukama from Okayama - Broad beans - Sukiyaki with Kawachi duck - Chicken back meat - Chicken meatballs We also added: - Chicken skin - Chicken liver - Chicken tail - Liver pate - Chicken tail - Chicken ramen as a finishing dish - Dessert (Amaou strawberries) This restaurant is popular for being able to secure a reservation in advance, so make sure to book early. The refreshing daikon radish was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating it. This was my 86th meal of the year.

I visited the restaurant for a short course at an early hour. The unique and flavorful entrance caught my attention, and the interior had only a counter. The owner was focused on cooking, and the service from the young staff was polite. The saltiness of the negima was perfect, with the fat and green onions blending well. The unexpected addition of sukiyaki halfway through was a nice change. Even with the short course, I was completely satisfied.

The chicken thigh meat served with raw ham and daikon in olive oil is the starting point for the yakitori. The course includes dishes such as wasabi-grilled chicken tenderloin, water-boiled chicken breast skin, chicken tail, quail eggs, pate de campagne, ciabatta, caciocavallo cheese, Kirishima Royal Pork, Okuni shimeji mushrooms, Kamon duck sukiyaki, wind-dried meatballs on chicken thighs. The course ends here, but you can add items like chicken neck, white liver, and chicken sleeves. The finale is chicken ramen, with delicious soup.
