I hope this doesn't exist - expensive and lacking! Even though I was able to minimize my losses by using a coupon, the taste, portion size, and service were all at a level that I definitely do not want to revisit. It's such a shame because the concept seemed promising.

This was my first visit, and oh boy, it was the worst lunch I've had in a long time! First of all, the service was non-existent. The appetizers were not very tasty, and the flower crab was dry. They told me to taste their special broth with salt first, but it was nowhere near as good as the free broth at a chain restaurant. The main dishes were disappointing - the beef steak and braised pork were tough and too small in portion. The seafood bowl had sinewy tuna that was hard to chew, and the daily specials were just average. The large shrimp was actually a type of fish called "hamachi" and was too fishy for my liking. The rice portion was also small. The seafood bowl did not look as appealing as in the menu photos, and there was no explanation for the difference. I had to ask multiple times for dessert, which turned out to be a small warm roll cake with sweet potato filling. With no parking available, the lunch ended up being quite expensive. While I understand that ingredient prices are high, the quality of the food did not justify the cost. There was no greeting or farewell from the staff, which was disappointing. I definitely won't be returning!

This is a story that sounds like a lie, but it's actually true! Today is the first day of my two-day weekend, and I'm feeling excited. I visited my mother's care home and had a haircut at my usual salon. For lunch, I went to a soba restaurant in Higashi-ku Honmachi. When I arrived, I realized it was closed, so I decided to try the ramen shop next door. The staff welcomed me and recommended their "Special Japanese Set Meal" for 1580 yen, which surprised me as I was expecting ramen. I ordered the set meal and it turned out to be delicious. I visited here with the intention of having tuna. I arrived a bit late for lunch, and the place was almost full with couples and ladies from the Higashi ward. I was seated at a dark counter. When I mentioned that I had made a reservation, they said, "Reservations made through Tabelog are not reflected here." I couldn't find the right words to respond to that. Why would the reservation not be reflected if there is a section for it? And they even ran out of rice? Even though it was still close to 1 pm? Was it because the reservation was not reflected? I was asked if I wanted to wait for the rice to be ready, and I said I would wait. Later, I found out that two other groups of customers were also waiting. I ordered the Special Japanese Set Meal for 1580 yen, which included plenty of fresh tuna and simmered kinki fish. The miso soup was prepared by the customers themselves using a small stove. However, the pot was placed on top of the stove, which was quite high. You had to stand up to make the miso soup. The side dishes were a bit confusing, as it was unclear how to eat them. The rice that was finally ready was soft and delicious. The tuna I was looking forward to had a slight odor. On top of the tuna was meringue, and the colorful balls were meant to be a substitute for soy sauce. I personally prefer using regular soy sauce. The side dishes were small portions of traditional Japanese dishes. The simmered kinki fish was tasty but smaller than expected. I'm not sure if it was worth the price. I forgot the name of the dessert, but it was delicious and had a Japanese flavor to it. This place might be good for a leisurely lunch for the ladies from the Higashi ward. Thank you for the meal.

I came here for a trip. It was a course meal, so there were some things I didn't like, but I enjoyed it and was very satisfied. The atmosphere and the staff's service were also very good, and I was able to spend a comfortable time. I definitely want to go again. Next time I go, I want to bring my friends with me.

One weekend, I visited a Japanese restaurant located in Higashi-ku Honcho 2-jo for lunch. The restaurant had a traditional Japanese atmosphere with a counter and table seats. The ventilation was good, but it might be a challenge in the cold Hokkaido weather. The background music was soft Western music. I mistakenly thought it was a seafood parfait shop, but it turned out to be a proper Japanese restaurant. I ordered the "Japanese set meal" for 1580 yen, with a main dish of "Today's assorted sashimi" and a side of "Slow-cooked pork belly". The meal started with steamed Hokkaido sweet potato with salt, followed by a surprise beef stew in a small teapot. The miso soup was prepared at the table, and various small dishes like pickles, roast beef, and simmered eggplant were served. The main dish was beautifully presented with a fluffy soy sauce mousse, colorful fish, and various side dishes. The pork belly was tender and flavorful, and the dessert of chestnut mochi was a perfect end to the meal. Overall, the restaurant offered interesting and creative Japanese dishes, but there were some areas that could be improved.

Opened on September 23, 2021. The phone number of the shop is 011-299-4373! I visited on the second day as I had errands on the opening day. It was very crowded on the first day due to the holiday. Even my acquaintance's super beautiful family had to wait for an hour. I was able to make a reservation at a less crowded time, so I had no problem (^-^)v, but by 12:00, it was already full. There are often people who arrive early in this area, so I thought there might be some this time as well, but there weren't any. Now, this time, I aimed for the limited edition salmon roe bowl as part of the special opening event. Let me report on it right away♪ The bowl and the salmon roe are both small in size, haha. The taste is a bit strong. However, it was beautifully arranged with so much salmon roe that it was overflowing from the bowl, visually very appealing♪ And the ratio of rice to salmon roe was strange, haha. No matter how much I ate, it felt like I was only eating salmon roe (^-^) I might end up with leftover salmon roe♪ If you meet certain conditions, you can get it for 500 yen, which is a great deal♪ However, since there is a limit on the salmon roe, it might be sold out by this weekend. Originally, it could be said that this is a sister store of the shop in Motomachi. The lunch menu has been upgraded. This time, I had the highlight salmon roe bowl, and also ordered a sushi parfait, which is not on the menu, and enjoyed it. Although I didn't try it this time, I am curious about the elaborate Japanese set meal for 1,580 yen. It's a bit pricey, but it's a place I would like to visit with customers or close friends if I have the chance. There is no parking lot, but there are affordable parking lots nearby, so you can rest assured even if you go by car. There are no discount coupons or anything like that, haha. I hope the troublesome things like the pandemic will be over soon so that I can visit the main store as well.

"Kasanaru" is a popular seafood parfait restaurant that opened in September 2021. I visited the restaurant for the first time with my usual companion. The restaurant is located in the Higashi Ward area of Sapporo along the circular road. Please check the exact location on Tabelog. We visited around 2 pm on a weekday. The restaurant has counter seats and table seats, with a few customers present. Although they offer lunch menus, we arrived just after lunchtime. Takeout options for the "seafood parfait" range from 850 yen to 1200 yen. For my first visit, I ordered the top menu item, the "Tuna-packed Seafood Parfait" for 850 yen. While waiting, we were served cold Japanese tea. After a 9-minute wait, the parfait was ready. I took photos and then packed it in a cooler box with ice packs. The "Tuna-packed Seafood Parfait" weighed 414g (excluding the bag). It contained about 6 slices of medium fatty tuna, several slices of flounder, edible flowers, Italian parsley, and a colorful mix of "seaweed beads." The cup also had colorful sushi rice and seaweed beads, giving it a stylish look. We also ordered soy sauce for 85 yen. The "Tuna-packed Seafood Parfait" is a colorful and Instagram-worthy seafood parfait. It's enjoyable to look at and delicious to eat. Unlike ice cream, it doesn't melt quickly, making it convenient for taking photos. The high-quality medium fatty tuna ensures a delicious taste. It was a bit tricky to eat, so we took it out of the cup. The sushi rice was a nice addition, and the abundance of colorful seaweed beads was delightful. The chewy texture of the seaweed beads added to the overall eating experience. This healthy and stylish seafood parfait was a treat. I look forward to trying a different parfait next time. Visited KasaNaru, a newly opened branch of KasaNaru (which is closed on certain days) for lunch. Ordered the 1580 yen course as well as the special ikura bowl. Asked if I could take the fish parfait to go, and they kindly agreed. The fish parfait was as luxurious as rumored, with fresh sashimi and large sweet shrimp. The tuna, salmon, and white fish were all delicious. The edible flowers, Italian parsley, and seaweed beads added a colorful and fun touch. The seaweed beads were not only beautiful but also had a fun popping texture. The vinegared rice was well-seasoned, and the toppings like flying fish roe, finely chopped cucumber, egg, and seaweed beads were mixed in. It was a bit difficult to eat due to the presentation, but that was part of the charm. I wish they included wasabi and soy sauce on the side. The ikura bowl for the grand opening was small but well-seasoned and satisfying. It seems like it may only be available for a limited time, so it's worth confirming. I hope they offer their croissants for takeout at other times as well. Overall, a promising new restaurant that I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.
