I want to eat shabu-shabu! If possible, at a reasonable price! Somehow, I always feel like I want to eat shabu-shabu at a reasonable price when I'm outside. Am I the only one who thinks that? (laughs) The first choice I had in mind was fully booked, so I decided to try my luck without a reservation for the third time. Unfortunately, I couldn't get in again. I called the second choice, but there was a one-hour wait. Oh no, what a dilemma. I wandered around the Sapporo Station area. I asked for help from Tabelog, and this restaurant came up! And it's located in the Tokyu Department Store restaurant area, where it seems like I can get a seat without a reservation because there are plenty of seats! As expected, they were closing in two hours, so they easily guided me to a table with a view of the night scenery. The all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu for two hours costs 3,685 yen. Not just shabu-shabu, but also some appetizers are included in the all-you-can-eat menu! I decided to add a drink all-you-can option with a coupon from a certain website. Leaving the drinks aside, the all-you-can-eat menu was scheduled to start at a specific time and continue until closing time, but they allowed us to start 15 minutes earlier. The first round automatically served pork loin, pork belly, chicken, and seasonal vegetables. After finishing, it was time for seconds! The meat wasn't the typical thinly sliced type you find in all-you-can-eat places, so it was quite satisfying. The appetizers included teppanyaki-style dumplings, french fries, chilled tofu, and other items that even older gentlemen would enjoy. Oh, I almost forgot, you can choose from five types of broth. We chose the spicy hot pot and bonito broth, and in the end, we dove into rice! We added cheese to the hot pot and plenty of seaweed to the bonito broth! With the all-you-can-eat ingredients, we enjoyed the meal to the fullest. This place where you can quietly enjoy shabu-shabu without waiting in Sapporo Station might be a hidden gem. If they had beef, it would have been perfect, but my stomach was full, and I was pleasantly tipsy. It's great that you can easily catch a bus back home right from the bus stop in front of the department store. Well, I apologize for staying until closing time. Thank you for the meal! \(^-^)/
