The lunchtime on Sundays always has a long line, so I ended up skipping a few times, but finally decided to go after three years. I've been wanting to try it since my first visit, and today's the day. ・Miso Ramen (Rich) 800 yen Extra noodles 120 yen It took about 10 minutes to be served. I always feel like waiting this long. The soup looks rich and creamy. Let's start with the soup... It's thick and rich. What gives it this rich flavor? Maybe it's based on Wakayama ramen, so it could be pork bone broth? Since they also have chicken salt ramen, maybe it's a mix of pork bone and chicken? It feels like the saltiness is overpowering the miso flavor. The noodles are medium-thin, I think. The noodles here are delicious. I can keep coming back to a place with delicious noodles. If I have the chance, I'd like to try the miso ramen again. I was looking forward to trying this new restaurant for the first time, but when I got there, I suddenly remembered that I had been here before - probably with the same group of people: my husband, our junior colleague, and some of my husband's coworkers. This time, we also brought our daughter along. I thought they had maze-men (mixed noodles) here, but they didn't, so we ordered tsukemen (dipping noodles) instead. We bought our meal tickets and sat at a table. When our bowls arrived, the dipping broth was simmering in a pot. The noodles were medium-thick and straight, and the chashu (roasted pork) was large and round, with two slices. Time to dig in! The rich soup coated the noodles beautifully and tasted delicious. The counter seats were particularly impressive, with a spacious layout that felt very comfortable. The table seats were also cozy, with sofa-like seating that didn't feel like a typical ramen shop. As for the food, the thick Chinese noodles had a rich pork bone soy sauce soup with a nice thickness and a lingering richness that was delicious. The miso noodles had a similar base but with a refined miso flavor added. While I personally am not a fan of refined miso ramen, my wife, who loves miso ramen, found it to be very tasty. Overall, the restaurant had a great atmosphere, quality food, and attentive service, making it a popular spot with a well-rounded experience.

On Friday night around 8 o'clock, I arrived at the restaurant. The temperature was 34 degrees, hot and humid even though it was night. There were about 4 groups waiting. I waited for 30 minutes! I chose the refreshing miso ramen. I also had a bottle of beer. The service was polite, and the inside of the restaurant was quite cool with air conditioning. I waited for about 10 minutes. Although the rich miso ramen was recommended, I chose the refreshing one. It still had a lot of flavor and the soup was thick. The noodles were well-coated and slurped up easily. I added a little vinegar for extra refreshment. The restaurant was bustling but clean, and easy for even a solo diner to enter. If you are nearby, definitely give it a try! It was delicious. Tsukemen is lighter than the ramen (rich) I've had in the past. I might like tsukemen better. It goes well with lemon too, and it's luxurious with two slices of chashu. It's super delicious. They also have soup wari.

For dinner, I visited a restaurant with a large lantern that read "Wakayama Chinese Ramen" outside. Upon entering, I found a ticket vending machine system. I chose the Chinese ramen for 850 yen (choice of rich or light) from the top left of the menu, and also added a side of chicken salt ramen, tsukemen, and mixed ramen (limited to lunchtime). I also ordered a bottle of beer and a bowl of white rice. The Chinese ramen alone seemed like a good deal. I was seated at the counter, and ordered the rich option. I had a bottle of Super Dry beer while waiting. It took a bit of time for the ramen to arrive. The soup looked rich and flavorful. I was curious about the red topping on the chashu. The soup is a rich blend of chicken and pork bone with soy sauce. It reminded me of Tenkaippin with its slightly foamy texture, but the addition of pork bone made it even richer. It's the type of soup that makes your lips shiny. The noodles were medium-thick straight Chinese-style noodles with a good chew even without specifying the firmness. Given the thick soup, softer noodles worked well. The chashu consisted of pork belly chashu and chicken chashu. The chicken chashu had a plum paste sauce on top, adding a refreshing touch. The other toppings included bamboo shoots, naruto, seaweed, and green onions. I felt like a bit more green onions would have been nice. This rich soup could easily be a rice topping (laughs). I went to a nearby randoseru (Japanese school bag) shop and then went to eat on Sunday afternoon. It seems to be a popular restaurant, but we were able to get in without waiting by arriving at the opening time (although we waited a little before opening). My family ordered the light Wakanayama ramen, the light Tori Shio ramen, and the water dumplings. They were all very delicious. I think I could have eaten a second bowl. I'm not a fan of the trendy rich ramen, but it was really delicious and I haven't had such tasty ramen in a while! It's a shame that I don't have the opportunity to go often, but I really want to eat it again! I miss it~

I ordered a light ramen this time since the last one was rich. The Chinese noodles had a flavorful soy sauce base. Compared to the rich one, this one lacked any strong flavors, but I think I prefer this one. It's not that I dislike rich flavors. It's just that this ramen, including the char siu, felt refined as a whole.

Visited Sanmenryu Mushamen in Esaka. There were 5 people waiting outside. I asked to change the appointment time via email and waited. After 20 minutes, I entered the shop. First, I purchased a ticket. I bought the Chuka Soba for 830 yen and added extra noodles for 120 yen. When asked about the soup thickness preference, I chose light because the thick type was described as a thick chicken broth. After about 10 minutes, the ramen was served. It came with rare chashu, chicken breast chashu with plum paste, seaweed, thinly sliced bamboo shoots, naruto, and green onions as toppings. The soup was really light, which left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. The noodles were thin and straight with a high water content. Since the shop is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, it may not be a good idea to visit on those days. It seems like this is the ramen to try in Esaka.

On the third day of my business trip in Osaka, I visited Mushamen at Sanmenryu. It seemed to be a popular place as there were 10 people waiting in line. The interior of the restaurant was spacious and the counter had enough distance between each seat that acrylic dividers were not necessary. I ordered the light Chinese noodles. The soup was not light at all, but rather rich and delicious. It had been a while since I finished a bowl of soup completely. I definitely want to visit this excellent restaurant again.

It's been a while since I last visited this place. It's always crowded even though it takes about 10 minutes on foot from Esaka Station. I arrived at 11:30 and had to wait for about 5 minutes before getting a seat. I ordered the rich Chinese noodles. Huh!? It looks thick, but the taste is actually light! Was it always like this!? It was easy to eat and I finished it quickly! It was different from what I expected, but the noodles were delicious and easy to eat. It lacked a bit of satisfaction, but I want to give it another try!
