On your wedding anniversary, as well as birthdays, the day you met, started dating, or got engaged, are all special days for couples to reminisce and spend a wonderful time together. To celebrate these special days in a memorable way, the perfect restaurant is AKARENGA STEAK HOUSE. Located just a 5-minute walk from Osaka Metro Chuo Line, "Osaka Port Station" exit 6, this restaurant is situated in a classic car museum remodeled from a 100-year-old historic red brick warehouse in Osaka Port. It is also the only sister restaurant of the renowned Hy's steak house in Hawaii. The stylish classic cars and the red brick-themed building create a powerful atmosphere, especially when lit up at night. Stepping inside, you'll feel like you've traveled back to the early 1900s in a foreign and exotic setting. Surrounded by carefully selected antique furnishings from around the world, the retro ambiance of the restaurant evokes scenes from a movie, enhancing the classical atmosphere even more. Once seated, a carefully crafted course meal begins, complemented by a selection of fine wines and spirits, taking you on a journey through space and time. The Seasonal Course is priced at ¥19,200 (tax included) and includes: - Hy's traditional special cheese bread - Chef's daily bite - Prime beef tataki seasonal vegetable salad with garlic and lemon - Marinated yellowtail and turnip with couscous tabbouleh, yuzu miso jelly, and turnip puree - Seasonal vegetable potage - T-bone steak 900g for two - Cherries jubilee - Coffee or Kobe tea - Champagne Pommery Brut Royal - Peroni Nastro Azzurro - Longboard Island Lager - Buena Vista Sonoma Pinot Noir 2019 - Akarenga Kiti The meal starts with a delightful Hawaiian traditional cheese bread made with cheddar, mozzarella, and gruyere cheeses, followed by a choice of appetizers. The main course features a wild T-bone steak 900g cooked over a unique charcoal fire using four types of wood. The steak is served with a variety of sauces and salts to enhance the flavor. For dessert, the staff performs a spectacular show with the dessert queen "Cherries Jubilee," adding a festive touch to the meal. Overall, AKARENGA STEAK HOUSE offers a unique and unforgettable dining experience for special occasions like anniversaries and celebrations.

Visited in February 2023 with a rating of 3.58 on Tabelog (146 reviews). Tonight's dinner was at "AKARENGA STEAK HOUSE," located about a 5-minute walk from Osaka Port Station. This restaurant seems to be a sister store of the famous steakhouse "Hy’s Steakhouse" in Hawaii. The premises are filled with classic cars parked and a large tree with bright lights, creating a unique atmosphere. You can definitely experience an "extraordinary" that you cannot find in ordinary restaurants! We took the highway and got off at Hanshin Expressway Tempozan, just 2-3 minutes away. The restaurant has a spacious parking lot, so it's reassuring. Upon entering through the impressive door, the dimly lit, elegant interior exudes a luxurious feel. There is also live piano music, allowing you to enjoy an elegant moment. We chose the most popular course, "SEASONAL Steak & Appetizer & Dessert, 7 dishes in total." First, we toasted with champagne. The special cheese bread was made with cheddar, mozzarella, gruyere cheese, and whipped butter, creating a simple yet delicious flavor. The amuse-bouche, a croquette with black truffle sauce, was not on the menu but was a tasty surprise. The marinated amberjack and turnip with couscous and yuzu miso jelly was a delightful combination of flavors and textures. The seasonal vegetable potage soup was rich and creamy, with milk foam and bacon adding to its appeal. The prime filet mignon was served with two types of sauce and five condiments, offering a variety of flavor combinations. The thick, tender meat was flavorful, especially with the oyster soy sauce. The prime tenderloin with black truffle sauce was already seasoned and paired well with the Tasmanian mustard. Overall, the dining experience at AKARENGA STEAK HOUSE was exquisite, with each dish carefully prepared and presented in a luxurious setting.

In the midst of the night, swaying bonfires, a red brick warehouse reminiscent of 1900s America, and classic cars line up like a scene from a movie at the Osaka Port. Tonight, I visited the only sister restaurant in Japan of the renowned Hawaiian steakhouse "Hy's Steak House," located in this picturesque setting. Upon opening the heavy doors, the staff in tuxedos guided us to a couple's seat. The interior exudes a stylish vintage American atmosphere with elegant antique furnishings, creating a sense of calm and luxury. In the center of the restaurant, there is a bright glass case where Chef "Paulo" is seen grilling steaks enveloped in smoke. The grilling method using embers is a rarity nowadays, with a choice of four types of firewood such as oak, hickory, and maple, along with seasoning salt, enhancing the flavor of the top-quality USDA Prime beef. Tonight, I opted for the "Seasonal Course," where you can select from various menu items. The first dish served was the "AKARENGA Special Cheese Bread," a thick toast with melted various cheeses, offering a rich and devilishly delicious start to the meal. For the appetizer, I chose the Seviche of sea bream and seasonal vegetables, a salad-like dish with plenty of vegetables and thick sea bream, providing a satisfying and healthy option before the main course. The highlight of the meal was the T-bone steak, featuring both filet and sirloin, cooked to perfection. The sirloin was thick and juicy, while the filet exuded a rich smoky aroma, delivering a burst of umami flavor. The sommelier recommended a Pinot Noir to pair with the steak, which complemented the flavors beautifully. For dessert, I enjoyed the flamboyant "Cherry Jubilee," a spectacle of flames cascading down like a waterfall, captivating everyone's attention. The impeccable service, attentive pacing of dishes, and delightful surprises throughout the meal made for a truly memorable dining experience. I look forward to visiting this restaurant again. Thank you for a delicious evening.

We visited this restaurant with a group of four adults under the pretext of celebrating multiple anniversaries such as birthdays and wedding anniversaries. The interior was spacious and had a calm atmosphere. Other guests were also dressed appropriately, adding to the ambiance of the place. There was no time limit on our table, allowing us to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. The live piano music added to the special atmosphere. We chose the most popular course, with two of us sharing a T-bone steak and the others sharing domestic beef and fillet. Each dish had a unique flavor, but personally, I found the T-bone to be the most balanced and easy to eat. The portions were generous, and by the end of the meal, we were all pleasantly full. We would love to visit again on another special occasion.

I was invited by a friend to celebrate my birthday at Akarenga Steak House. This place is a sister restaurant of the famous Hy's Steak House in Hawaii. The atmosphere is calm with piano music playing. The seafood tower was amazing, and they even prepare the dessert and Cherries Jubilee right in front of you. The performance was great and it was the best dinner. The dishes were also very generous in portion, and I was very satisfied. The menu included: Cheese Bread, Amuse Pancake with Da Vinci Caviar, Seafood Tower, Merlot red wine, Onion Gratin Soup, Filet Mignon and Foie Gras Steak Rossini, Cherries Jubilee, and a Birthday Cake.

Located about a 7-minute walk from Osaka Port Station, this restaurant is situated in a corner of a red brick warehouse with a 100-year history dating back to 1923. It also houses a classic car museum, adding to its excellent atmosphere. It is the sister restaurant of the renowned steakhouse "Hy's Steak House" in Hawaii. The interior ambiance is top-notch, with live piano performances adding to the dining experience. The 100th Anniversary Course vol.2 priced at 22,000 yen includes AKARENGA's special cheese bread, scallop and green pea mousse with egg yolk sauce, Hawaiian garlic lobster, seasonal vegetable potage, USDA Prime T-Bone steak (900g for 2 people), and Kobe red tea cherry jubilee. The cheese bread, made with cheddar, mozzarella, gruyere, and whipped butter, is served to all guests and pairs well with wine. The Hawaiian garlic lobster, served with fruit tomatoes, is deliciously firm. The potage is made with carrots, turnips, onions, pumpkins, and spring cabbage, topped with croutons, bacon, and whipped mousse for added flavor. Guests can choose their main dish and dessert. The T-Bone steak was selected this time, served with onion/oyster sauce and roasted garlic. Other sauce options include mustard, salted wasabi, garlic chips, truffle salt, and seasoning salt. The T-Bone steak had a surprisingly thin bone and a generous portion of meat, cooked with a variety of wood chips for a wonderful aroma. Personally, I enjoyed the combination of soy sauce and garlic chips. For dessert, the recommended cherry jubilee was flambéed tableside, adding excitement to the dining experience. Overall, this restaurant provides a great atmosphere to enjoy delicious steak and wine. I would love to revisit if given the chance.

I ordered the AKARENGA course. The main dish was a 250g of premium American beef. This was my second time using this restaurant. Honestly, I don't think I can eat 250g of Wagyu beef. I wonder what a 250g of American beef is like? To be honest, it was tough. It's not that it's not tasty, but it didn't leave a lasting impression. It's not dry, but it's juicy in a way that it's dripping with blood. I think the 15000 yen course with this meat is expensive. I wonder if choosing a more expensive course will offer something different...

I had a full course lunch. The interior of the restaurant is unified with European-style furniture and the service from all staff is great. It's not a casual price, but it's a great place to experience something special on a special day. Restaurant patrons can also use the vintage car museum for free, and it's a paradise for vintage car enthusiasts as you can take photos too! The dishes were all delicious, and the steak with two sauces and five condiments kept me interested until the end. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I have been to a restaurant in Hawaii that had a sophisticated adult atmosphere. I had the T-bone steak course, and when the 900g T-bone steak arrived, it seemed like too much. Even after subtracting the bone, it looked like there was about 700g of meat. The upper side of the bone is sirloin, and the lower side is filet, I heard. My wife and I managed to just finish it. It was satisfying to enjoy two different flavors at once. Just when I thought I couldn't eat anymore, dessert arrived. They made cherry sauce in front of us and poured it over a large scoop of vanilla ice cream. I thought I couldn't finish it, but it was so delicious that I ended up eating it all.

Finally made it~ After checking out the classic car exhibition, we stopped by. The red brick warehouse district has a nice atmosphere. We walked and chatted our way to the shop. Wow, the sturdy door opened by the staff as we entered. The ambiance is truly remarkable. Cheers with a stout, and the cheese bread is so delicious, I wanted another one. The meat was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Next time, I'll come for the fillet. Thank you for the meal!

After visiting the classic cars, we entered the restaurant. The luxurious interior and exterior create a calm atmosphere, perfect for special occasions or entertaining guests. I believe anyone would be impressed by the experience here. Starting with the amazing atmosphere, the attentive and elegant service from the staff, and every dish being satisfying in both presentation and taste. The meat especially was tender and flavorful, with options to enjoy it with salt, garlic, wasabi, mustard, and more. I had a truly fulfilling experience for both my heart and stomach. It was an amazing time.

The service was also wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions like anniversaries. It's truly a wonderful place to dine.

The reviewer wanted to eat meat for their birthday and found this restaurant. It has an adult-friendly atmosphere, especially for those who like classic cars. There is a light dress code, and they even provide dummy jackets if you accidentally leave yours at the entrance. The restaurant's specialty is meat, but they also offer seafood appetizers. The American beef filet mignon is thick and juicy, with a nice lean texture. The live music, a piano and flute duet, played familiar pop songs. The reviewer wished for more classical or jazz music to match the ambiance. The anniversary plan includes a cake with fireworks for celebrants, and the staff sings "Happy Birthday" frequently. Despite some critical reviews, the reviewer recommends the restaurant for its great atmosphere, good food, and it's a perfect spot for a date.

Today I came to Red Brick Steak for a friend's birthday celebration! You can enjoy a meal gracefully while listening to live piano and viola music. I, a mischievous person, ordered the T-bone steak as my main dish. Don't underestimate the American beef, it is delicious (mustard, wasabi, garlic spice, truffle salt, probably some other salt). And there were two types of sauces, like garlic soy sauce and chariapan-like sauce, to enjoy the approximately 400g tenderloin and fillet in various ways. You can enjoy the balance between luxury and populism. It was fun to admire classic cars and more. Thank you for the wonderful meal~

Surrounded by classic red brick warehouses in Osaka's Chikko Port, AKARENGA STEAK HOUSE was where I was taken for my birthday! The dress code was mentioned, so I wore my favorite dress and heels. Before even entering the restaurant, I was amazed by the classic cars lined up and the stylishly lit red bricks (lol). Inside, there were paintings, antique furnishings, and live piano music, creating a luxurious atmosphere. I can't remember which course we had, but I enjoyed a bottle of my favorite Kenzo Estate red wine, Rindo, along with various dishes including special cheese bread, soup, grilled Canadian live lobster with Bearnaise sauce, prime fillet mignon, and a flambéed cherry jubilee. The slowly smoked prime beef was incredibly tender with a smoky flavor, and the cherry jubilee was a highlight with a fiery presentation at our table. With so many dishes, my stomach and heart were truly satisfied ♡

・AKARENGA Champagne Lunch 10,000 yen To celebrate our 2 and a half year anniversary, my wife and I decided to have a luxurious lunch at this restaurant. We had previously dined at this place for dinner and were impressed by the quality of the food, the ambiance of the restaurant, and the service. This time, we chose the summer limited Champagne lunch plan which included a terrace seat overlooking the Red Brick Warehouse Street. The terrace seat provided a casual yet elegant atmosphere. We started with a toast with Champagne, each of us having a bottle of Champagne and sparkling water. The meal included a delicious green salad with croutons, truffle-scented fried potatoes, and a cold pumpkin soup with bacon. The highlight was the main course - a Rossini burger made with the finest US beef patty topped with truffle, foie gras, bacon, avocado, tomato, and onion. The burger was incredibly juicy and flavorful, with the buns adding a crispy texture that was very satisfying. For dessert, we enjoyed a mango shaved ice with yogurt sauce in the elegant indoor setting. The combination of mango and yogurt was delightful. The service was exceptional, making our special day even more memorable. Although the Champagne lunch plan is only available for 2 more days on October 2nd and 9th, the terrace dinner is offered until the end of October. I highly recommend this place for a special occasion or to create unforgettable memories.

Hello, it's Keinsuke! Today, I would like to introduce the steakhouse "AKARENGA STEAK HOUSE" located in Minato. Get off at the Osaka Port subway station and walk in the opposite direction of the Kaiyukan. After about a 10-minute walk, you will arrive at a slightly different area with red brick warehouses lined up. Inside the premises, there are many luxury cars parked. Limousines, Rolls-Royces, and more welcome you. Upon entering the red brick warehouse, you will find the restaurant "AKARENGA STEAK HOUSE." I had never been here before, but I was impressed by the royal welcome I received after making a reservation. The atmosphere inside is like a medieval setting and doesn't feel like you are inside a brick warehouse. This steakhouse is the only sister restaurant of the long-established "Hy's Steak House" in Hawaii in Japan. The staff kindly explain the history, cuisine, and more. This time, I chose the SEASONAL course (15,909 yen). With a 10% service charge added, it becomes a luxurious course priced at 17,500 yen. While it may be expensive, considering the atmosphere, hospitality, service, food performance, and quality, it is worth it. This is a place where you can celebrate special occasions like birthdays or proposals. The dress code is strict, so casual attire is not allowed. The interior is adorned with paintings, stained glass, and various objects, creating a solemn atmosphere. The AKARENGA special cheese bread was the first dish, made with three types of cheese on a heavy bread, providing a rich flavor. For the appetizer, I chose the Prime Beef Tataki Rice Salad, which was a luxurious choice. The soup was a chilled pumpkin soup with a hint of cinnamon, and the meat selection included Ribeye and Filet, both of which were delicious. The steak is cooked using a special broiler by a chef with 25 years of experience, and the sauces were also excellent. Overall, it was a delightful experience, perfect for special occasions.

Located in the Osaka Tempozan area, the classic adult hideaway with a 100-year history, the symbol of the port, the "Red Brick Warehouse," is currently attracting attention. When you think of red brick warehouses, you think of Yokohama and Kobe. I didn't know there was such a wonderful spot in Osaka Port! With the hem of my dress fluttering, I headed to a steakhouse that lights up the historical heritage of the Meiji era. The "AKARENGA STEAK HOUSE" is the only sister store in Japan of the Hawaiian traditional steakhouse "Hy's steak house." The vast grounds are welcoming with shiny classic cars. Inside the warehouse, there is a museum where you can see historical classic cars up close! Whether you are a car enthusiast or not, you will be overwhelmed by the elegant and beautiful classic cars lined up. Oh, I know this! The Rolls-Royce Phantom, boasting the world's highest quietness! Freddie Mercury's beloved car! The 1974 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow! It's real and cool! The red RR emblem, Bentley, Deuce, Ford, 550 Spider. They are so cool! You can never have enough time in this rare space gathered from around the world! Guests dining at the steakhouse can enjoy entry to this museum, which is a great bonus. Still excited, I opened the heavy doors of the restaurant and... there was a luxurious American atmosphere from the early 1900s. This evening, I chose the most popular course which includes a steak of your choice, appetizers, soup, and dessert, plus the wine pairing from Japan's pride, Kenzo Estate, selected in the top 100 in the world. Seasonal Course 17500 yen. Special Hy's Cheese Bread. Champagne toast followed by Hawaiian traditional cheese bread. Cheddar, mozzarella, gruyere, and whipped butter. It's really delicious! Appetizers and Salad. You can choose your favorite, and it's nice to be able to choose a different menu from your dining companions. Summer Vegetable and Tuna Scallop Tartare with Onion Dressing. Prime Beef Tataki with Tanba Sasayama Koshihikari and Summer Vegetable Rice Salad. Soup. Cold Pumpkin Soup with Cinnamon Scent. Hawaiian classic Oxtail Soup (+880 yen). The pumpkin soup has a nice cinnamon aroma. The rich sweetness and the saltiness of the prosciutto are accents. The cold soup is smooth and very delicious. Aged Prime Steak. The main prime steak is finally here! You can choose from rib, fillet, tenderloin, etc. T-Bone Steak for 2 people 900g. The dynamic and wild T-bone steak is so delicious because it's top-notch! It's tender and juicy, and this is the first time I've had such a delicious T-bone steak! It stimulates all five senses with its aroma, dripping, and colors. It is cooked slowly over a fire using four types of "firewood" that are most suitable for meat: oak, beech, oak, and Japanese oak. Enjoy the happiness in this scene with the meat! - Japanese-style onion sauce using Tambo Sasayama onions. - Japanese-style garlic oyster sauce using Hiroshima oysters. - Tasmanian mustard. - Wasabi salt mixed with rock salt and wasabi. - Hawaiian Seasoning Salt. There is also attention to detail in the sauces and salts for the meat. You can enjoy various flavors little by little and be completely satisfied.

On this day, I had dinner at a steak restaurant recommended by Mairevi-sama at Osaka Port. The restaurant is located in the Red Brick Warehouse, less than a 10-minute walk from Osaka Port Station. The retro building, remodeled from a warehouse over 100 years old, offers a nostalgic atmosphere. On the same premises, there is a facility where classic cars from around the world, including Japan, can be viewed for free by steakhouse customers. After enjoying the classic cars, we finally headed to the main attraction, the steakhouse. The luxurious interior of the restaurant truly lived up to its catchphrase, "An ordinary day turns into a special occasion when you come here." It was indeed a wonderful dinner experience. This time, we ordered the Seasonal Course, which includes a choice of steak, appetizer, and dessert from five options, along with a pairing from Kenzo Estate Winery. Let's enjoy the course: - Hy's Cheese Bread: A specialty of the renowned steakhouse, Hy's Steak House in Hawaii, this three-cheese bread with whipped butter was incredibly delicious. - Prime Beef Tataki with Tanba Sasayama Koshihikari and Summer Vegetable Rice Salad: The Tataki was refreshing with paprika puree, and the salad was a delightful combination. - Chilled Pumpkin Soup: The rich sweetness of the pumpkin soup with the savory flavor of the ham and the refreshing aroma of cinnamon was delightful. - T-Bone Steak 900g: The main course featured a dynamic T-bone steak cooked to perfection, served with various sauces and seasonings for a delightful dining experience. The steakhouse offers the highest quality USDA Prime beef from the United States, with options like Prime Ribeye, Prime Filet Mignon, Prime Tenderloin with Black Truffle Sauce, and T-Bone Steak. The T-Bone Steak was the clear choice, and it was cooked by Paolo, an Argentine chef, using a variety of woods for a delicious aroma. The recommended medium-rare doneness was perfect, and the steak was incredibly flavorful. The various sauces and seasonings, including the Japanese-style Oyster Garlic Soy Sauce and Hawaiian Seasoning Salt, enhanced the taste of the steak. Paired with Kenzo Estate's red wine, the dining experience was truly exceptional.
