I was craving delicious Spanish cuisine, so I made a reservation to visit on Saturday at 4:30 PM, a bit early for dinner. When I entered the restaurant, I was the first customer, but soon after, two other groups came in, so I realized it’s a popular place. Until 6:00 PM, the owner-chef efficiently attended to us and the other two groups. On the day of my visit, they were only serving dishes from their blackboard menu, so I was disappointed that the mushroom ajillo I wanted wasn’t available. Instead, we ordered four dishes to share between the two of us: squid ink paella, tomato salad, meatballs, and pork pâté. Each dish that was served was delicious, and I was glad that I arrived with an empty stomach. By the way, this restaurant has a minimum order requirement of one drink per person. They also provided complimentary refills of baguette and olives when they ran out. Eating the baguette with the olive oil from the tomato salad and the sauce from the meatballs was delightful. And I must say, the squid ink paella I had been looking forward to was fantastic! It was packed with shrimp, clams, and squid, and the bold flavor of the squid ink sauce made it incredibly tasty. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I finally had a chance to join the Sherry gathering for the first time in quite a while. We had a reservation for 5 PM, and by the time we left the restaurant just before 8 PM, the place was almost full, with many groups of women enjoying themselves. The atmosphere was vibrant! The menu currently consists only of the items listed on the blackboard, which change from time to time. There was a wide variety of wines available, and they also offered different types of sherry, which we enjoyed several glasses of.
As for the charges, the cover included unlimited olive and baguette refills. We ordered several dishes:
- Nagoya Cochin chicken liver pâté
- Spanish-style meatballs in sauce
- Vegetable salad with mushrooms and almonds
- Bacalao piquillo (gratin stuffed with red peppers)
- Iberico pork roast
- Valencia-style paella
We had a great time celebrating at the gathering. The attentive and cheerful service from the female staff left a good impression. However, I did find the glass of sherry to be a bit small, which was a bit disappointing, especially since everyone else at the table was a heavy drinker, resulting in quite the bill by the end (laughs). It would be nice to have a bottle of sherry available. Regarding the paella, it was my first time trying it, but I couldn't really taste the umami of the broth; the acidity of the tomatoes came through more prominently, and I prefer my rice to be more al dente, so it didn't quite match my taste. However, the bacalao piquillo and Iberico pork roast were simply excellent. The Sherry gathering was a great success once again! We’re already looking forward to planning two more for next year. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I invited a friend who is trying Spanish cuisine for the first time to a famous restaurant! It's located just a 3-minute walk from Shinkawa Station along Nishiki Street. There is no parking available, so it's best to use a nearby parking lot. The interior has counter and table seating, and all seats are smoking. Payments are done at the end, and only cash is accepted. There is a one-drink policy per person.
▶️ Oku Mikawa Chicken and Summer Vegetable Paella (¥3000)
▶️ Iberico Pork Chorizo (¥1000)
▶️ Baguette & Olives (¥550) x2
☆ Salty Dog (¥700)
☆ Moscow Mule (¥700)
☆ Orange Juice (¥500)
*The baguette and olives are complimentary.
● The chorizo was authentic, but a bit too fatty. It was just right when paired with the baguette.
● The paella was exactly what my meat-loving friend wanted. It had a whole chicken thigh, with crispy skin and juicy meat! The paella was tomato-based with summer vegetables, and the rice was a bit mushy but delicious! ♡
● The pitted olives were refreshing and tasty, and I wished I had gone for more if they were refillable... (T_T) The paella takes some time to prepare, so it was perfect for a leisurely meal while chatting! I also wanted to try dishes based on my preferences... (><) I made a reservation beforehand, but it didn’t seem crowded, so you could probably visit without a reservation. ( ^ω^ )

I visited a restaurant for dinner. It's located a short walk from Shin-Sakae Station, which is one subway stop east of the central area of Nagoya, specifically from Sakae. The restaurant is a street-level shop in a mixed-use building along Nishikidori, a major road that runs east-west through central Nagoya. There isn't a dedicated parking lot, so customers need to use nearby paid parking facilities.
Inside, there are counter seats, table seats, and a terrace seat by the entrance. The counter offers an open kitchen view, allowing guests to watch the cooking process. For smokers, it’s a pleasant surprise as the restaurant allows smoking. The menu features Spanish cuisine along with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, with a focus on dishes like paella and ajillo.
Here’s what I ordered:
- **Salad with lentils and prosciutto**
- **Garlic shrimp ajillo**: A generous portion with three sizable red shrimp, seasoned robustly with garlic.
- **Spanish-style meatballs in sauce**: Similar to a stewed hamburger; the meatballs are firm and meaty.
- **Squid ink paella**: The flavor of the squid ink is outstanding and the dish is perfectly moist. The ingredients include squid, mussels, shrimp, and clams. It's delicious with a squeeze of lemon, and you can add garlic oil mayo, which pairs incredibly well.
- **Complimentary starter of bread and olives (free refills)**
- **Non-alcoholic beer**: Sapporo Premium Alcohol-Free.

I consulted and contacted the restaurant about an increase in the number of people for a birthday party on the day of the reservation, and they responded very pleasantly. Despite the sudden change, thank you very much. All the dishes were delicious, and since we had a larger group, it was great to enjoy a variety of choices in small portions, which also made it easy to enjoy the drinks! I was really happy to find both liver pâté and lamb on the menu, as I love both. Everything was truly delicious! I would love to come back to try the dishes I didn’t have this time.

I visited this restaurant for my husband's birthday. I'm usually not a fan of olives, but the olives served as an appetizer were truly delicious, and we were both moved as we enjoyed them. The following dishes, such as the ajillo and paella, were also amazing, and it was a continuous series of delightful surprises. It's no wonder this place is popular; the flavor was definitely impressive. I would love to visit again!

It was located right along the main street near the station. Since it was a weekday, I was able to walk right in without waiting. I had Valencia-style paella, sangria, confit, and mushroom ajillo. The interior was spacious, allowing me to enjoy my meal at a leisurely pace.

We visited with three people, and since it was my first time trying Spanish cuisine, I was excited. As you can see in the photos, there was a blackboard in the restaurant with delicious-looking menu items, from which we made our selections. We had liver pâté, lentil salad, mushroom ajillo, marinated bonito, roast lamb, squid ink paella, and Iberico pork chorizo. We ate a lot and enjoyed some beer and wine as well. I was so engrossed in eating that I forgot to take photos of most of the dishes. In conclusion, "Spanish cuisine is delicious." Thank you for the meal! However, there was no dessert on the menu, so we went to another place afterwards to have dessert.

I visited La Concha, located in the Unibule Shin-Sakae building in the Aoi area of Higashi-ku, Nagoya. It is about a 3-minute walk from Exit 2 of Shinkawa Station on the Nagoya City Subway Higashiyama Line, making it easily accessible by public transportation. There is no parking available at the restaurant, but there are coin parking lots nearby, making it convenient for those driving.
The interior is bright and stylish, creating a calm atmosphere. The restaurant has a total of 27 seats, including 5 counter seats, 22 table seats, and 4 terrace seats. This time, I enjoyed the seafood paella (2800 yen), potato and chorizo tortilla (1200 yen), and Spanish-style meatballs in sauce (1000 yen). All of the dishes paired well with the drinks and were delicious. In particular, the potato and chorizo tortilla had a fluffy texture and a gentle flavor, which I found very tasty.
La Concha is an adult-oriented Spanish restaurant that opens at 3 PM and is not far from Shinkawa Station. While it offers standard Spanish cuisine, it provides a unique twist that distinguishes it from other restaurants. I would love to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you!

I made a reservation for a weekday evening visit to La Concha, which is selected as one of the top 100 Spanish restaurants. What we ordered included:
- Homemade sangria (2,000 yen)
- Mushroom ajillo (1,200 yen)
- Grilled red shrimp (1,500 yen)
- Nagoya Cochin chicken liver pâté (1,000 yen)
- Complimentary snacks (free refills of bread and olives: 500 yen)
The sangria was delicious right from the start! The free refills of olives were also tasty, making for a great snack while we waited for our dishes. Planning to just have a light meal and head to another place, we ended up ordering the ajillo and liver pâté, both of which were so good that we decided to add the grilled red shrimp. The grilled shrimp was rich in flavor and absolutely fantastic! Thank you for the wonderful meal! ♬

Located in Nagoya's Shin-Sakae district, La Concha is a renowned Spanish restaurant that opened in 2016. The owner, who is self-taught in cooking, manages the restaurant mostly alone. The service is speedy, and the dishes are served at lightning speed. From Monday onwards, the table seats are fully booked, so reservations seem necessary due to its popularity. The paella is a highlight, allowing diners to savor the rich flavors of seafood, and there are plenty of varieties to choose from. Highly recommended for its signature paella! Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The mushrooms here were so delicious that I've started using them in my cooking. I've been making quite a few time-consuming dishes, but they all turn out tasty. 【Crowded】 It was reasonably busy when I went on a Sunday evening. 【Access】 ◎ It's just a short walk east from Shin-sakae Station. 【What I liked】 The mushrooms are really good here.

Located a 5-minute walk from Shinetown Station, this restaurant features a yellow and red exterior reminiscent of the Spanish flag, along Nishiki Street. The highlight here is sherry, a fortified wine produced in a limited region in southern Spain. During its production process, alcohol is added to increase the alcohol content, giving it a richer flavor compared to typical white wine. As a result, sherry pairs well not only with seafood but also with meat dishes. They offer a wide variety of sherries. Dishes include:
- Cajos (Spanish-style offal stew) - 1500 yen
- Seafood paella - 2800 yen
- Herb-roasted lamb - 4500 yen
You can experience how the diverse flavors of sherry beautifully complement the Spanish cuisine offered here.

I recently had sherry wine for the first time! I usually drink wine, but I was starting to get bored with it, so I decided to give sherry a try, and it was really delicious! It was very easy to drink and, although it's hard to describe, it really suited my tastes! The dishes were all delicious and perfect! The pitted olives and freshly cut ham were also large and fantastic. The seasoning had very little garlic, which was truly a relief for me since I'm not a fan of garlic. A tapas bar that doesn’t use garlic is just perfect for me. I would definitely like to visit again!

This is a Spanish restaurant located in Aoi, Higashi Ward! It's situated along the main street heading east from the Shinae subway station. I had a good impression of this place from a previous visit, but I hadn't been able to return until now. This time, I came with a friend who wanted to enjoy Spanish cuisine. The interior features both counter seating and mainly table seating. Since I was with someone who loves wine, we started with a bottle of white wine. I requested a wine within a certain price range, and they served us a very delicious white wine. Thank you!
Here’s what we ordered:
- Spanish-style meatballs in tomato sauce: 1000 yen
- Steamed live mussels in wine: 2000 yen
- Squid ink paella: 2900 yen
- Stewed pig's trotters and green beans: 1500 yen
It had been a while, but once again, the Spanish dishes at La Concha were delicious! Personally, I really enjoyed the large meatballs in tomato sauce. The sauce was flavorful and the portion was very generous, making it quite satisfying! Generally, all the dishes were quite hefty, so I thought it would be fun to visit with a few friends who enjoy eating. I also felt tempted to try several types of paella. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere, making it seem like a great place to have a fun time with friends. Thank you for the lovely meal!

I came to a Spanish restaurant because I felt like having paella. It had more of a homey feel rather than being a stylish Spanish bar. However, the taste was delicious. That said, given the cost of the ingredients, I felt the prices could be lowered a bit. Since it was hot, I started with a sparkling wine, but I wanted to order a variety of drinks for the second round. Unfortunately, the sparkling wine was only available in bottle service. It seemed like a popular spot, as all walk-in customers were turned away, so you need a reservation to get in. Thank you for the meal!

I couldn't forget the taste of the Spanish cuisine I used to enjoy in Hiroshima, so I visited La Concha today. All the dishes were delicious, but with the number of staff at the restaurant, I had to be patient with the serving time and the order in which the dishes were brought out. The restaurant has its own unique flavor, so I shouldn't compare it, but personally... I'm sorry.

I’ve been curious about this Spanish restaurant for a long time. I wanted to try a variety of dishes, but I narrowed it down to four. The liver pâté was delicious when spread on the baguette! It made me crave wine, so I ordered a bottle. The potato tortilla was fluffy and tasty, but I wished it had a bit more salt. The Spanish-style tripe stew was something I definitely want to eat again! It looked like a honeycomb, but it was so good! Lastly, the paella was something I could keep eating even though I was full. It was packed with seafood and very delicious. I definitely want to go back!

The restaurant is located a little east of Shin-ei. This open and inviting place always has its doors wide open, giving it a vibe similar to a bar overseas. There are both table and counter seats, and a large monitor displaying the game. On this particular day, the Chunichi Dragons were playing the Yakult Swallows, and I couldn't take my eyes off the screen, hoping for a comeback from the Dragons. The menu is written on a large blackboard. I visited as a second stop, wanting a light snack, so I asked about quick dishes. They suggested a few options, but when I inquired about the mushroom ajillo, which would take a bit longer, I decided to drink quietly while I waited. I'm used to eating only shrimp ajillo, so trying the mushroom version was refreshing, but personally, I found it a bit lacking.
