Thank you very much for always viewing✨ If you like it, please try bookmarking the shop with the "save shop" button♪ A shop located in Kagurazaka, Tokyo. It is selected as one of the top 100 yakitori restaurants in the Tabelog 2022 guide✨ This is a shop where all photography and video recording is strictly prohibited. I was invited by a friend I made on social media and had the pleasure of dining together(*'▽'*). This is a renowned shop where you can enjoy the highest quality "Kasahara chicken" from Takasaka, the only sterile rare chicken in the world. The shop operates in two sessions, starting at 17:30 and 20:45. The elegant and kind-hearted owner, Yuji Kasahara, has a deep love for yakitori✨ They use rare Kishu Binchotan charcoal for grilling, and the serious look on their face while grilling with a large fan is truly impressive. The skewers are mostly made of iron (or maybe aluminum) so you won't burn your mouth even if you touch them♪ The grilled chicken on iron skewers is a work of art✨ The shop has become extremely difficult to reserve, with the next available booking being one year later. I would love to continue visiting as much as possible (*^▽^*) The dishes I had included the following: ▼ Chef's Special Course Draft beer Chicken breast sashimi lightly seared with straw and served with aromatic sauce ※ Incredibly tender and delicious✨ Chicken liver sashimi with ginger soy sauce ※ Rich and deep umami flavor✨ Highball Asparagus ※ Thick, tender, sweet, and crispy, incredibly delicious✨ Meatball skewer ※ White, chewy, juicy, and flavorful✨ Pickled daikon with grated radish ※ Homemade soy sauce is light and tasty♪ Chicken heart skewer ※ Perfectly grilled, crispy, and flavorful✨ Chicken tail skewer with wasabi ※ Crispy skin and juicy meat, incredibly delicious✨ Highball Meatball skewer ※ Grab the bone with paper, pull out the aluminum skewer, and enjoy the juiciness✨ Caciocavallo cheese skewer ※ Melting cheese with a good texture, fragrant with charcoal, incredibly delicious✨ Chicken neck skewer ※ Thick, chewy, and flavorful✨ Pickled daikon with grated radish refill Highball Chicken wing skewer ※ Grab the bone with paper, pull out the aluminum skewer, and enjoy the juiciness✨ Sole skewer ※ Crispy skin, well-seasoned, delicate and delicious✨ Gizzard skewer ※ Small, rare, crispy, hot, incredibly delicious✨ Chicken tender skewer ※ Rare, tender, juicy, incredibly delicious✨ Taiwanese oolong tea ramen ※ Rich and refreshing, extremely delicious✨ Oyakodon (chicken and egg rice bowl) ※ Delicious chicken broth, incredibly delicious✨ The total bill for two people was 77,300 yen. Thank you very much for reading until the end✨ If you leave a comment, I will reply to it♪ I hope that this information can be helpful to you in any way regarding gourmet experiences.▽I also update my Instagram. This was my first visit after the restaurant moved to Tokyo. It is a top-notch yakitori restaurant that grills chicken with skilled craftsmanship. The quality of the chicken, the grilling, the upscale atmosphere, the wine, the luxury feel, and the prices are all top-notch. It was delicious, maybe even better than before. We added a glass of champagne, two highballs, and a sweet potato soda, totaling 43,000 yen with drinks or 33,000 yen without. It's not your typical yakitori prices, but I think it's okay to indulge once a year. The dishes we had included: sashimi with white liver, grilled chicken meatball with leeks, steamed egg custard with ginger and wood sorrel, fresh ginkgo nuts, crispy chicken skin - the best! So delicious! Chicken breast, liver - amazing flavors! The sauce, grilling, and juiciness inside were all excellent. I wish they would make a rice bowl with this. Chicken wings, chicken skewers, bonjiri (tail meat), gizzard, back liver, grilled rice ball, tea-pickled radish, oyakodon (chicken and egg rice bowl), and ramen. Among these, the ramen was the winner. The chicken broth soup was incredibly delicious.

This was my third visit to Kasahara in September 2023. It was even more amazing than the last time. My companion who doesn't eat liver even said they could eat it here. I ended up having two extra servings of chicken tail meat skewers. From sashimi to yakitori, ramen, and oyakodon, everything was incredibly delicious. I'm looking forward to my next visit. I had the opportunity to visit Kasahara-san's restaurant at the invitation of a regular customer. It was my first time visiting this renowned restaurant that specializes in Kosaka chicken. I was first served with chicken sashimi and white liver sashimi, and I was shocked by their freshness and deliciousness. There was no hint of any unpleasant smell, and as everyone had mentioned, the white liver was like a sweet and fresh foie gras. Next, the yakitori was served. The chef's grilling technique was exceptional, with a crispy surface and just the right amount of charcoal aroma, bringing out the full flavor of the ingredients. Each skewer was perfectly delicious. Lastly, the ramen, which was made with a pure chicken broth that truly showcased the essence of the chicken. It was incredibly delicious and made me sigh in delight. This restaurant goes beyond just yakitori and offers a variety of chicken dishes. I would love to visit again if given the chance. The dishes I enjoyed today are listed below, but please note that the order may not be accurate and some dishes may be missing. Thank you for your understanding. - Chicken sashimi - White liver sashimi - Negi (green onion) - Chicken thigh meat dumplings - Cucumber pickles, grated daikon radish - Chicken skin - White liver - Grilled chawanmushi (savory egg custard) - Ginkgo nuts - Chicken wings - Chicken breast meat - Chicken tail - Chicken oyster - Chicken liver - Additional: Tail meat - <Finale> Oyakodon (chicken and egg rice bowl) - Ramen

I went to my beloved restaurant Kasahara and it was delicious as always. We started with horse meat sashimi and liver sashimi, which was incredibly tasty. I want to try pairing the liver with red wine next time. The grilled dish included a rare dish called chouchin, which was also amazing. The balance of egg yolk and meat, along with the sauce, was exquisite. We ordered about 4 more servings and finished with ramen and oyakodon. I always feel so happy here. Thank you for the meal.

About a 10-minute walk from the east exit of Iidabashi, in a residential area between Iidabashi and Edogawabashi, there is a yakitori restaurant. A famous shop from Kobe relocated to Tokyo a few years ago and remains extremely popular. I had visited the shop during its Kobe days, but had been meaning to go since its relocation. Finally, I visited with some regular customers. The restaurant is located on the second floor of a building shared with a well-known Japanese cuisine restaurant. I cannot take pictures inside the restaurant, so I will stop here. The omakase course costs 20,000 yen, with chicken sashimi being the first dish served. The white liver sashimi is still incredibly delicious, melting in your mouth. I tried to record the skewer menu, but I may have missed some. The menu included negi momo meatballs, hatsu, kawa, kashiwa, gingko nut, tebasaki, sasami, and additional items like seseri and soriresu. The seseri and soriresu were particularly tasty, with a rich meaty flavor. The kashiwa was also delicious and chewy. While the prices for yakitori are on the higher side, there are unique items that can only be enjoyed here, making it a top-class experience without a doubt.

I was invited and visited the restaurant. There was no menu for drinks and I didn't know the prices, but I didn't drink much. The yakitori seemed a bit pricey, but each skewer was carefully prepared. The chicken itself was delicious, and the grilling was done perfectly. The ideal grilling that makes the chicken taste the best. The side dish was also well-prepared. I have never thought that chopped onions could be so delicious. It was a great experience. Thank you for the meal.

I went to my favorite restaurant, Kasahara, where I had a delicious and enjoyable time. It wasn't my reservation, but I was invited by a friend. I always get excited before going to this restaurant. We started with a highball, followed by sashimi and then yakitori. We then switched to wine, which paired perfectly with the yakitori. It was a blissful moment enjoying delicious yakitori and wine. I will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Today's meal at Kasa Hara-san was delicious as always. Unfortunately, I can't share photos, but the texture of the meat was firm and the fat was rich. Even if you're not a fan of grilled chicken, I recommend trying it here. #Thank you for the meal #Yujin Kasahara chef #Gourmet #Grilled chicken #Kagurazaka #Omakase featured restaurant #Just between us #The staff enjoyed it #That's all from the field.

I went to a high-end yakitori restaurant for the first time, and the interior design resembled a sushi counter. The taste was amazing, it was so delicious that it took me by surprise. I thought to myself, "Was everything I had before really yakitori?" The outside was crispy while the inside had a perfect texture. It felt like every detail was carefully calculated. It was so delicious that it gave me goosebumps. I definitely want to go back next time.

This was my 4th visit to this restaurant, which is my favorite yakitori place ❤️ I made a reservation for omakase again this time. I can't take photos, so I don't have pictures of the restaurant or the food. They use Takasaka chicken, and we started with sashimi of chicken breast and liver. The liver sashimi had no unpleasant smell and was as rich as foie gras. It was really surprising. Then we moved on to the skewers. They were perfectly grilled - crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The grilling time varied depending on the part, so for example, the chicken tenderloin was grilled to a moist, almost rare state. Every yakitori here is amazingly delicious. For the finale, you can choose between oyakodon, ramen, or grilled rice ball ochazuke. This time, I had oyakodon and ramen. The oyakodon had a rich, creamy egg that was almost drinkable. The ramen had delicious noodles, and the chicken broth was clear, light yet flavorful. Both were really delicious. The only downside is that it's hard to get a reservation, but this is a place I would want to keep going to for life.

"Kasahara" was a representative yakitori restaurant in Kansai, known as one of the most delicious yakitori in Japan, and it relocated and reopened in Kagurazaka, Tokyo on December 4, 2021. Established by Yuji Kasahara in Kobe Sannomiya in March 2016, "Kasahara" uses Takasaka chicken and all the grilled and side dishes are exceptional and impressive. I visited Kobe around August 2021. The restaurant is located on the second floor of a building where my close friend from Kobe, Kimoto-san, is also located. Both the side dishes and skewers are outstanding. Takasaka chicken has thick, crispy skin, and when grilled over charcoal, it turns out fragrant and juicy, very delicious. I wonder if they change the sauce or seasoning for each part. Every part is so delicious that I can't understand why they are overwhelming compared to other yakitori. The sashimi at the beginning of the course was amazingly delicious. The chicken liver sashimi of Takasaka chicken is incredible. It's as rich as foie gras with a liver taste I've never had before. Each skewer is excellent, leaving a moist and tender texture inside while having a fragrant and delicious surface. I will visit again! Thank you for the feast. [Order] <Chef's Course> 15,000 yen ◻︎ Seasonal vegetables ◻︎ Breast sashimi ◻︎ Liver sashimi ◻︎ Negima (chicken and leek skewers) ◻︎ Chicken thigh ◻︎ Meatball ◻︎ Kamo eggplant ◻︎ Chicken tail ◻︎ Liver ◻︎ Chicken tenderloin ◻︎ Chicken tail tip ◻︎ Chicken tenderloin ◻︎ Chicken breast ◻︎ Chicken heart ◻︎ Grilled rice ball with tea <Additional> ◻︎ Cartilage ◻︎ Cheese

A popular yakitori restaurant that uses Takasaka chicken, with many fans and reservations booked almost a year in advance. The interior is luxurious, resembling a sushi restaurant with a beautiful design. The grilling station is in the center and not visible to customers. Photos are not allowed, only wine bottles are permitted. The course menu includes various chicken dishes such as sashimi, breast, liver, skewers, and more. The liver sashimi was incredibly delicious, rich and flavorful. The yakitori was all tasty with crispy skin and light, clear fat characteristic of Takasaka chicken. The grilling technique may involve indirect heat. The dishes were not piping hot but still enjoyable at a moderate temperature. The thick cuts like chicken wings were cooked well. The skewers were tender and juicy, showcasing the chicken's natural flavors. It's no wonder this restaurant has many fans, as the yakitori is truly delicious. It was a delightful meal, thank you.

I went to 【Kasahara】, where I became obsessed after eating once. This place is my number one favorite for yakitori. I don't think any other restaurant can surpass it. The chef and the hostess are friendly and create a warm atmosphere, making it a truly happy time. Before the grilled dishes, a small serving of sashimi is served, which is also amazingly delicious! This time, I started with meatballs on skewers, which were juicy and full of flavor, absolutely irresistible. Every skewer is so delicious that it makes me question what I've been eating as yakitori before. You can also order additional skewers. For the finale, you can choose from ramen, oyakodon, or grilled rice ball tea rice. I had ramen and oyakodon this time, but I want to try the grilled rice ball tea rice next time. Thank you for the wonderful meal, I will definitely come back again.

I think it's the first time I've ever thought yakitori was this delicious. Compared to other restaurants, the temperature of the yakitori seemed low, but maybe that's what suits Takasaka chicken. Honestly, I want to go again, but it seems difficult to make a reservation.

I visited for the first time. I had a course meal starting with raw highland chicken, followed by grilled dishes and rice for the finale. The dish included raw highland chicken breast and liver. The liver didn't have the usual taste, it was incredibly delicious with a foie gras-like oiliness. The grilled dish had a crispy skin and was very tasty.

This was my first visit since the Tokyo branch opened after the Sannomiya branch. I already thought it was the best yakitori place at Sannomiya, but it has been further upgraded and I was surprised. I cannot post photos because photography is not allowed inside the restaurant, but the deliciousness of the legendary Takasaka chicken has been taken to the extreme, and the juicy yakitori is personally the best in Japan! I am looking forward to visiting again in September!

Every six months, it becomes harder to make a reservation, so it had been 8 months since my last visit. I took the Nanboku Line and got off at Iidabashi, then walked leisurely for about 12 minutes to arrive at the restaurant, located on the second floor at the same entrance as Kimodou. I rang the intercom, gave my reservation name, had the auto-lock released, and proceeded through the approach, up the stairs, and into the restaurant. The interior has an L-shaped counter. This time, I brought some delicious wine for a group of four dining together! The deliciousness of Takasaka chicken is well-known, but eating Takasaka chicken at Kasahara is exceptional! Once again, I was completely blown away, just like the last time! The items I enjoyed were: - Jun-sai - Chicken breast sashimi - Takasaka chicken white liver sashimi, which was incredibly delicious! It had no odor and the white liver tasted like foie gras, making me ecstatic every time! - Negi-aji - Meatball tsukune - Chicken wings - Segimo - Bonjiri - Sunaguri - Kamo eggplant steeped in dashi (additional order) - Hatsumoto - Seseri - Harami - Finishing with 4 items: - Grilled rice ball in broth - Chicken dashi tea-soaked rice - Chicken ramen - Oyakodon The head chef and the female owner enjoyed all the wine and champagne we brought while we savored the delicious yakitori. It was amazing! It's always a happy feeling when everyone brings good food and enjoys a delicious meal together. Two gourmet newcomers who joined us at Kasahara were in ecstasy throughout, so I was glad I invited them! Thank you for reading until the end! If you could give a 'like', 'save', or 'follow', it would be a great encouragement for me in the future, so thank you in advance!

I often come to this delicious yakitori restaurant! I tend to stop going to places where I can't take photos, but I keep coming back here because the food is so good. We usually start with seasonal dishes, then move on to non-skewered items, skewered items, and finish with a closing dish. It was delicious once again this time. I often hear that Kasahara is expensive, but I don't hear many complaints about the taste. Thank you for the meal.
