This is a convenient restaurant located about a 2-3 minute walk from Sapporo Station. They seem to specialize in offering fresh oysters for 100 yen each. You can choose between raw, steamed, or grilled oysters, and I personally think the steamed ones have the most flavor, so I ordered those. As you can see in the picture, even though they are cooked, the oysters are quite small. But for 100 yen, I can't complain. Surprisingly, the flavor is almost tasteless, like the oysters have been carefully desalted. I imagine many tourists visit this place, but I hope they don't judge Hokkaido oysters based on this experience. I also ordered some raw oysters later, and they were delicious once they were not cooked. The sashimi was tasty as well, as expected in Hokkaido. When I arrived, there were two groups of customers already there, but it took about 15 minutes for the first order to be taken. The staff seemed busy, so I tried to be patient, but they were chatting about their university classes and took a while to serve us. Also, they handed dishes to us from behind, which was a bit surprising. It's a minor detail, but it stood out to me. Lastly, be careful on the steep staircase when leaving the restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

A social gathering with colleagues from the same company in Sapporo. There were 7 of us seated at a table with a sunken kotatsu. We reserved the 4500 yen course (used a coupon to make it 4000 yen). Starting with fresh oysters, sashimi, grilled mackerel, and chicken steak, everything was delicious. Considering the taste and value, I think it was quite cost-effective compared to Tokyo.

I visited this restaurant for the first time with guests from Tokyo and enjoyed Hokkaido cuisine. We had fresh oysters starting from 100 yen each, ramen salad, hokke sashimi, potato fries with Hokkaido red potatoes, assorted sashimi, and zangi. I highly recommend the hokke for its size! The all-you-can-drink plan is a bit pricey but not bad. There is one restroom each for men and women.

There are some good dishes and some not so good dishes. The fried food was okay, and the sweet potato tempura with red ginger was delicious. The sashimi was average, and the oysters were disappointing. Overall, nothing really stood out as a must-try, but there was nothing that I would say to avoid. If they claim to be a seafood shop, they should maybe do something more special. In a way, I think it's a standard restaurant.

Arrived at 17:45 on Friday. Reservation for 2 people made the day before. Two groups of previous customers, one group already full. Located near the north exit of JR Sapporo Station. There is also a store in Odori. 3 hall staff, 2 kitchen staff. Asked to disinfect hands upon entering. BGM is recent J-pop. Ordered 'Draft beer & sake with 120 minutes' with a coupon (1800 yen → 1280 yen). A minimum order of over 2500 yen per person is required, which is a bit high. The beer is Sapporo Classic draft. The appetizer (385 yen) is burdock salad. It's refreshing and crispy! Orders are placed through a website that is displayed by scanning a QR code on a smartphone. - Assorted gemstones (7 varieties) (1408 yen) Tuna, sea bream, salmon, sardine, bonito (sashimi & tataki), mackerel, 2-4 pieces each. It's okay, the sardine and bonito sashimi are unusual. - Oyster fry (638 yen) 4 pieces, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, delicious! The meat is also large. - Homemade chicken salt zangi (682 yen) 4 large pieces, crispy on the outside and juicy! - Squid shiokara (418 yen) Soft and well-seasoned! - Seasonal tachipon (880 yen) Kind of mushy. What does seasonal mean... (laughs) - Grilled seasonal saury (748 yen) Small with little fat. What does seasonal mean... part 2 (laughs) - Steamed oysters (308 yen) Smaller and less juicy compared to the fry. - Edamame (418 yen) Lacking in saltiness... Food quality seems to vary greatly. The fried items were tasty though. The menu introduces the producers at the beginning, but it feels like they are not fully utilizing the ingredients. It would be more acceptable if the prices were lower, but they are not. The bill was slightly under 5000 yen per person. It's rare for an izakaya to provide a receipt with a breakdown, which is commendable.

I used a coupon to enjoy a 120-minute all-you-can-drink deal for 980 yen. I tried various dishes including cream cheese marinated in Sake lees of Chitosetsugin Nishikyo miso, a bit disappointing amount of grilled oysters from Akkeshi, salmon sashimi, squid, Hokkaido Jingisukan stir-fry, salted Zangi with a strong taste that goes well with alcohol, and octopus Zangi with a chewy texture. The place was very busy that day. It may not be the best place for a leisurely chat with a friend, but since it allows smoking, it worked out well for us.

Attracted by the great deal of all-you-can-drink, I climbed up the steep stairs to the second floor. Upon opening the door, I found a lively izakaya packed with customers. After waiting for a while, I managed to get a seat and entered again. Unfortunately, the super cheap 500 yen all-you-can-drink was not available at that time, but I enjoyed fresh sashimi, seasonal asparagus, and special cheese. I used the QR code received to order directly from my smartphone, so I didn't have to call the staff every time, which was very convenient. After all, I wanted to make the most of the all-you-can-drink deal... Thank you for the meal.

Visited a restaurant with a friend in January. Tried to go to "Shimoya" behind "Sitatte" to visit the popular pub "Yonmaya", but it was unexpectedly closed. So, we decided to go to "Hokuren Building", but it was also closed for the New Year holidays. We walked around a bit to find the desired restaurant, but couldn't find it. Ended up at a quiet place and ordered the all-you-can-drink option for 120 minutes for 980 yen. The appetizer was sesame tofu for 350 yen. We tried the "Kushikatsu" for 780 yen, which was average. The "Tuna Sashimi" for 880 yen was surprisingly good for the price. The "Oysters" were 200 yen for 2 pieces, which was a reasonable price. The "Namero" for 680 yen was finely chopped, probably made with fresh yellowtail from Hokkaido. The "Squid Salted Innards" for 480 yen was store-bought but had a good texture. The "Iburi Gakko and Cream Cheese" for 680 yen had a mediocre presentation but tasted fine. Overall, the dishes varied in quality, but considering the prices, it was a satisfying experience. The 120-minute all-you-can-drink option was generous, and they even gave us two extra drinks as a service during the last order. Despite being a spontaneous visit, we left feeling satisfied.

You shouldn't underestimate the all-you-can-drink reservation courses that allow you to enjoy Hokkaido's fish and sake. We had herring and octopus head, as well as oysters from Akkeshi, which you can't easily find in Tokyo. Hokkaido Naprin Sour and Bariking Sour are drinks that you can only enjoy in Hokkaido. You can also try Hokkaido's local sake.

The restaurant across from Hands is affiliated with it. The fresh oysters are delicious and affordable. The grilled hokke is also impressive. Although the freshness is a bit questionable... the sashimi is good. Even people from outside the area would be pleased. The service is better than the one across from Hands. If you want to eat fresh oysters at an izakaya, this is the place to go.
