I went to Tsuruhashi and felt like eating some meat, but didn't want a full-on yakiniku meal, so I went to a yakitori restaurant. Among the various types of meat, I had pork belly, skirt steak, chicken meatballs, and pork wrapped in green onions, all of which were delicious and satisfying.

All the meat was delicious. In Tsuruhashi, there are quite a few other motsunabe restaurants besides yakiniku and horumon shops, so I would like to try other motsunabe restaurants as well! The prices are not that cheap, but I think they are worth it. The moyashi namul was very delicious and similar to Kameido Horumon!

When I got off at Tsuruhashi Station for a train transfer and was wandering around looking for a place to have yakiniku and beer, I stumbled upon a nice yakitori restaurant under the bridge. They grill one skewer at a time, so even if you're dining alone, you can try a variety of items. The prices are also cheap, so you can enjoy without worrying about your wallet.

I went to a second team game at Koshien Stadium and on the way back, I stopped by a yakitori restaurant near Tsuruhashi Station. As soon as the train doors opened, the savory smell of charred meat welcomed me. It had been a while since I last visited this place. They said they didn't have much to offer, but I insisted on having some hormone (offal). I first visited this restaurant 10 years ago and was impressed, but this time, I didn't feel the same level of excitement. The food was still delicious, no doubt about that. I understand that the portion sizes may have gotten smaller and prices may have increased, but even after accepting that, I don't feel compelled to revisit anytime soon.

The number of reviews is less than 100 as of today, but this restaurant managed to rank 3rd in the top 100 list in the fiercely competitive area of Tsuruhashi. I was skeptical but decided to give it a try. I ordered Kaonomi (cheek meat), loin, belly, chicken cartilage, quail, bacon, yam, draft beer, shochu highball, Okinawa Blue (cocktail), and carbonated water with sansho pepper. It was satisfying. This place is really worth a visit.

On Thursday at 7:30 PM, I had several beef skewers and minosashi at Waitamushi. I made a reservation and the seats were quite empty. The beef skewers were delicious, so I plan to visit again when I go to Osaka. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I made a detour on my way back from Nenba no Yu in Tsuruhashi. I had a Sapporo beer, which was served in a chilled glass, perfect after a bath. The meat and vegetables were skewered and easy to eat, all delicious. The restaurant isn't very large, but there is a counter so it's fine for dining alone. In the grilled meat district of Tsuruhashi, it's great to be able to eat skewered meat... however, the delicious and easy-to-eat skewers can add up in price. Since they are sold in units of 2, it's easy to end up eating more. Overall, I think it's a good place for a post-bath detour.

Tsuruhashi, the home of yakiniku? When you get off at Tsuruhashi Station on the Kintetsu Line, the smell of yakiniku always fills the air. This place offers a unique yakiniku restaurant that specializes in beef skewers. You can enjoy various cuts of meat grilled on skewers. It's recommended for those who find grilling troublesome. On May 13, 2023, I stopped by a place near Tsuruhashi Station to enjoy some grilled beef skewers before heading home after taking a bath at Nobu no Yu. I ordered the following: - Two draft beers - Salted tongue - Pork belly - Chicken gizzard - Bean sprout namul - Chicken meatball - Chicken cartilage - Harami (skirt steak) Everything was delicious without any disappointments. The style of eating skewers quickly and easily paired well with the beer. The convenience of being close to the station and being able to stay until the last minute was also appreciated. Now that I've enjoyed my drink after the bath, it's time to head home.

It was difficult to find a place on Friday in GW, but we finally got into a hormone restaurant. First, the lemon shochu highball was ice-cold and strong! The hormone yakitori was delicious, and although I ordered a hard-to-find small bag of something to eat, it was out of stock. Too bad! They seemed busy but the service was quick. Osaka is a popular area for yakitori and yakiniku restaurants, and this yakitori restaurant in Tsuruhashi is a favorite among locals. They also serve grilled liver. The skewers range from tongue to offal to lean meat, and they offer a variety of vegetables as well. Everything is delicious when dipped in their special miso sauce, which is amazing.

"Hinotori" Before boarding, I enjoyed the last Osaka gourmet at the beef skewers restaurant "Kushimatsuya Honten". It is located very close to Kintetsu Tsuruhashi Station. Smoke was billowing from the large red sign. To avoid smelling like grilled meat, I quickly entered the shop. Order: - Order Peppers Sliced - 350 yen - Kimchi Assortment - 600 yen - Small Bag of Butsugiri - 700 yen - Grilled Upper Liver - 900 yen - Tsurami - 200 yen - Grilled Liver - 200 yen - Akasen - 200 yen - Beef Tendon, etc... You can order skewers starting from 2 pieces. You can choose your favorite skewers and the amount you want, so you can also select parts you don't usually eat. The skewers are served already cooked, so it's easy to just eat them. The grilled upper liver comes with a gas stove, so you can grill it to your liking. Since people's preferences for liver tenderness vary, this is also appreciated. Despite having only an hour before catching the train, we ended up drinking and eating quite a bit, and before we knew it, it was 10 minutes before departure. We quickly went to the lockers and made it to the platform with 10 minutes to spare. We were able to enjoy Osaka gourmet until the very end. Thank you for the meal.

The skewers are delicious. Extremely delicious. The beef tendon is soft and the fat is tasty. Also, the squid is bouncy and you can taste its freshness. Very delicious. Also, it's rare to find homemade coffee shochu. It's easy to drink with little aftertaste. And the seared liver on the top was amazing. We didn't order it, but the customer next to us did, and we saw that it was brought on a hot plate with raw liver on top. The customer adjusts the heat on the stove themselves to eat it to their preferred level of doneness. The skewers we ordered were also very delicious, so I'm sure that liver is also very tasty. I definitely want to order it next time I go.

My favorite yakiniku restaurant in Kyoto unexpectedly had a regular holiday. In a pinch, I came across this restaurant recommended by a follower with high ratings. I made a reservation for 6:30 PM on a weekday at the end of the year. I sat at the counter where they were grilling skewers right in front of me. I was surprised by my first visit to Tsuruhashi. The station was filled with smoke, it was like walking through a cloud of smoke when I got off at the ticket gate (laughs). I've never seen a station like this before! Truly a deep spot in Osaka, Tsuruhashi! I ordered cow's stomach, harami (skirt steak), akasen (beef rib), quail bacon, teppanyaki tongue, seared liver, raw cow's stomach, and chopped shirataki noodles with bean sprout namul. The two dishes that left a good impression on me were the raw cow's stomach and the seared liver. Especially the raw cow's stomach was delicious. On the other hand, the chopped shirataki noodles and bean sprout namul didn't suit my taste, I couldn't eat them. The skewers were all delicious and enjoyable. There are also famous restaurants like Taiseiya and Moriya in this area, so if I have the opportunity to come back to Tsuruhashi next time, I will consider visiting them as well. Tsuruhashi Station was so smoky (laughs).

I visited the restaurant around 5:00 PM on a festival day. The restaurant was full, so I had to wait for about 20 minutes before getting a table. The grilled skewers were small but there were many different types to try. The seared Yukhoe had a generous portion and was delicious. The garlic rice was really garlicky. Thank you for the meal. ☺︎

Today, we went for a night out in Tsuruhashi after a long time. Our third stop was at "Kushi Matsuya" located under the Tsuruhashi station. I found this place during a break from using Tabelog, and it's always packed with customers eager to taste the fresh beef skewers. We arrived slightly past the 4:30 pm opening time, and the restaurant was already 60% full. The table seats were reserved, so we managed to snag seats at the counter near the entrance. We decided to indulge in some makgeolli today. We toasted with the brimming makgeolli poured into our cups. The dishes we had were skewers of beef intestine, pork belly, chicken gizzard, green pepper, and yam. You can order skewers starting from sets of two. The smell of the grilling meat from the grill right in front of us was mouthwatering. The grilled meat, already marinated, was delicious on its own, but dipping it in the tangy "special miso sauce" that came with the skewers made it even better. A senior member at the table, watching their salt intake, enjoyed the meat as it was, while I dipped mine in the sauce and savored the flavors. The fresh meat had no unpleasant odor and was full of sweetness, umami, and richness. The grilled green pepper and yam were also delicious. We also had a side dish of garlic namul, which had slices of raw garlic with a nice crunch and no overpowering spiciness. The marinated hormone stew was tender and had a slightly rich flavor, making it a perfect accompaniment to alcohol. By the time we left, the restaurant was fully packed. After finishing work, I went to a skewer restaurant that I haven't been to in a while. I tried going on Monday but it was closed, so I came back for revenge. I found a seat at the counter, greeted the master, and ordered a bottle of beer and grilled liver. I had been craving this dish, so I enjoyed it with a smile. I also ordered skewers and white cabbage kimchi, and leisurely drank my beer. Everything was delicious as always! When my beer ran out, I ordered another one and grilled pork feet. There was quite a lot of food, so I didn't need to order anything else. My face was shiny with satisfaction from today's enjoyable drinking session.

The lower guard was the only one open and when I jumped in, it was a big hit. The thickly sliced seared liver on the tabletop stove was so fresh and well thought out. If they have Ultepon vinegar, definitely try the Ulte. Order it and then dip it in hot water. The simmered offal stew was full of hormone meat. I was also very curious about the other hormones and the homemade coffee shochu, so I will definitely want to come back to this restaurant.

I visited the restaurant on a weekday night. When I arrived a little after 5:30 PM, it was almost full. I managed to secure a seat at the counter. First, I ordered the "Akaboshi" (600 yen) to quench my thirst. It was delicious as always. Then I tried the "Aburi Yaki" (990 yen). It was served quickly, and I could adjust the level of searing on my own mini grill. I enjoyed it by lightly searing the fresh meat. The person next to me didn't use the grill and enjoyed the tender flavor with sesame oil. Then I switched to skewers. You have to order in sets of two. I ordered the "Kainomi" (660 yen), "Harami" (550 yen), and "Shio Tan" (550 yen). The Kainomi was like steak quality, juicy and full of flavor. I squeezed a little lemon for a refreshing taste, then complemented the flavor with the special miso sauce. Next was the Harami, also juicy and flavorful. Lastly, I tried the Tan, which had a refreshing yet flavorful taste. They all paired well with beer, especially with the special miso sauce. It was delicious. Feeling a bit more hungry, I added the "Tetchan" (440 yen). It was also a great choice, with a light yet flavorful taste. It was the perfect finish to leave a lasting impression. Even if you don't go for yakiniku, there are many enjoyable things to do in Tsuruhashi. I am completely captivated by the charm of Tsuruhashi. Thank you for the meal.
