I came to Osaka for the Obon holiday! When you think of Osaka, you think of yakiniku, and when you think of yakiniku, you want to come to Sora, so I visited in the evening around 5:00 PM and it was surprisingly empty. I ordered raw intestines, hump, skirt steak, and loin, and had a draft beer to drink! First, I gulp down the draft beer! It's so delicious. Next, I try the raw intestines, which are fresh and seasoned perfectly with a balance of acidity and umami. Delicious! The hump, skirt steak, and loin have a firm texture with a meaty taste, and then the hump! I love this one, it's recommended to grill it until the outside is slightly burnt and crispy while the inside is soft and melty, with layers upon layers coming out! Delicious! I ordered the premium loin, but it's quite fatty due to the marbling, so it may be a matter of personal preference. Overall, the sauce is amazing and everything tastes delicious! I'm glad the taste hasn't changed. I'll come back if I have the chance.

I strategically chose a day when it was pouring rain to visit the restaurant because it is usually always crowded. It was a Thursday after work, and there was a heavy rain forecasted, but I was in the mood for yakiniku so I headed there. Despite the heavy rain and flooding in Tsuruhashi, I managed to secure a seat without having to wait in line. The meat was delicious, especially the tongue which I have a photo of. I made sure not to waste a single piece of the green onions while laughing out loud. The tongue had a good texture, and the harami was tender with a light sauce. I ended up eating too much rice as well. It was a fun night dining with another soaked adult.

- We lined up for dinner at 5:00 PM on Sunday, a bit early but it was worth it. Waited for about 20 minutes. - They have various types of horumon (offal). Definitely recommend the 5 types mix! - The speed of serving dishes is incredible. They can achieve such a high turnover rate with their fast service! - Personally, I loved the perfectly cooked white rice. - The food is delicious and reasonably priced, so I highly recommend it. - Note: Cash only! The smoke can be intense, so avoid wearing your favorite clothes!

Famous yakiniku restaurant in Tsuruhashi. I arrived 10 minutes before the opening time of 11:00 and there were already 2 groups waiting in line. However, upon closer inspection, there were already customers inside the restaurant, so it seems like they were already open a little earlier. After waiting for about 15 minutes, it was our turn. By the way, about 10 more groups joined the line while we were waiting. We ordered salted tongue (1,300 yen), harami (650 yen), mino sandwich (550 yen), hosu (550 yen), and yukkejang (850 yen). We didn't order too many expensive items. The salted tongue had a nice thickness and was very juicy, while the harami was tender and flavorful. The mino sandwich was deliciously fatty and chewy. The hosu was my first time trying it here, and it was flavorful with plenty of fatty goodness. The yukkejang was deliciously spicy, with just the right amount of heat. With drinks included, it didn't cost more than 5,000 yen for two people. Delicious, affordable, and no complaints.

I arrived at Tsuruhashi Station at 5 pm. As I was walking through the yakiniku restaurant street, I noticed a particularly long line at one of the shops. However, when I decided to wait in line, I was surprised to find that the indoor seating was air-conditioned and the line moved quickly, allowing me to enter the restaurant in just 20 minutes. It was not too stressful. There are multiple shops in the area, so maybe they were absorbing the nearby customers? I started by ordering a drink, then ordered salted tongue, neck meat, upper intestine, teppanyaki, intestine sandwich, and hozo. I also tried the Achilles tendon soup. Everything was incredibly delicious. The soup was very filling, so it was just right for two people. I would love to visit again when I go to Osaka.

Kansai Gourmet Trip‼️ "Yakiniku Sora" @Tsuruhashi Tsuruhashi is the number one Koreatown in Osaka. As soon as you get off the station, you are surrounded by the smell of yakiniku and kimchi. In Tsuruhashi, there is a shop that is overwhelmingly popular, "Yakiniku Sora." According to the internet, there is always a long line forming 30 minutes before the shop opens. Two gourmet old men arrived in Tsuruhashi after having a decent breakfast at their inn. They were the first in line. The fresh horumon (offal) at this shop is a unique and exquisite taste that cannot be found in other shops. They ordered unfamiliar cuts like "Yonton," "Ultae," "Hagishi," "Pupugi," and "Hoso" first. Delicious. They then enjoyed about 10 other rare cuts they had never tried before. They were glad they came! The two old men were completely satisfied. After finishing work in Osaka, I went to a solo drinking spot. The entrance rules were: if it's full, wait in the designated area outside and enter when called. However, I was lucky and there was a spot available for one person, so I entered right away. The menu options included bottled beer, a set of 5 types of hormone dishes for 2300 yen, various individual dishes like Kalbi Suj, Yonton, Hagishi for 500 yen each, red and white wine. At the bar called "Unbelievable Human Intersection", there were special prices for solo customers: women in their 2000s and young men at 8900 yen. I ordered a non-alcoholic drink and rice for 1600 yen. Next to me, there was an elderly couple talking about their crab trip to Kinosaki. The man mentioned how much people from Kansai love crab, while people from Ozu are content with river crabs.

I went to the restaurant because I heard they serve cheap and delicious meat. Since I went right after they opened, I was able to get in without waiting. The inside of the restaurant is smoky and has an old-fashioned yakiniku feel, so it may not be suitable for those who are concerned about getting the smell on their clothes. The food was delicious and affordable.

Visited around 2:00 PM on Sunday. There were about 20 people waiting in line, so it was still a decent time to go. We were seated at the counter. We ordered a kimchi assortment, salted tongue, top skirt, skirt, belly, tripe sandwich, and thin slices, among other items. We also had some drinks and ended up eating two bowls of rice, which we hadn't done in a while. The smoke was quite strong, so be careful if you have sensitive eyes.

Visited the main branch of Tsuruhashi, I had previously visited the Dotonbori branch and had been wanting to visit this one as well. When I arrived at 12:30, there were 5 groups ahead of me. I ordered grilled beef intestines, heart, neck, and tongue, as well as salted cabbage and lettuce.

Even though we visited during the daytime, the restaurant was almost full. Most of the customers were drinking alcohol. The lively atmosphere of Tsuruhashi can be felt. We also ordered beer along with meat and made a toast. The portions of meat were not large, but all of them were tender and without any unpleasant smell.

【Aogumi Hideka】's food indulgence. Time difference post. Since returning from a trip, I've been craving meat, so I gave in to the smell and went to Yakiniku "Sora" near Tsuruhashi Station. ○ Hoso (thinly sliced beef) 550 yen ○ Roast beef 650 yen ○ Harami (skirt steak) 650 yen ○ Kimchi 450 yen ○ Medium rice 250 yen. The hormone (offal) here is delicious, so the lean meat was just okay. It was a bit dry. But the Hoso had a great oiliness and flavor. Hoso is not often seen, but it's a part of the small intestine with more fat than the large intestine. So far, I think Hoso is the most delicious at Sora. Maybe due to COVID, the quality of meat and staff might have decreased. Next time, I'll stick to hormones. I went to Tsuruhashi for some yakiniku in the scorching heat of 2023. The main branch of the old-fashioned yakiniku restaurant was my destination. I heard that the restaurant has multiple locations or that it had burned down in a fire, but these were unfamiliar topics to me. Today, I was dining alone and arrived just before noon, so it wasn't crowded. I did get a little lost near Tsuruhashi Station, it's surprisingly confusing haha. Once I arrived, I was seated promptly and ordered a platter of five types of hormone meat and a bottle of beer. The texture of the meat was great, but the texture and sweet and savory seasoning of the hormones were fantastic! This really pairs well with beer! The sweet and savory flavor blows away any unpleasant smell. Is this what Tsuruhashi hormone meat is like? By the way, I was full with just the platter of five types of hormone meat and a bottle of beer. I might stop by for ramen on my way back. It was a reconnaissance trip to Tsuruhashi yakiniku, but next time, I'll come with my wife for a hearty meal!

I went to a highly recommended yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) restaurant in Osaka! The squid was sweet and savory, and the texture was very soft and delicious! I want to eat it again! Even though I ordered the regular tongue, it was surprisingly thick and tender, and very tasty! I also tried the offal and it was not too greasy, with a variety of rare meats that were all delicious. I want to go back again!

After a long time, I went to a yakiniku restaurant in Tsuruhashi for lunch. When I arrived around 1:30 PM, there was only one person waiting in line. It was a Thursday after the Bon holidays, so it was surprisingly not crowded. Lucky me! I met up with my friend and we entered the restaurant, where the air was filled with smoke. We ordered bottled beer, salted tongue, sirloin, harami, and various other items. The beer was a bit warm, which was disappointing. However, the sirloin was delicious as expected! I thoroughly enjoyed my yakiniku experience at Ku in Tsuruhashi after a long time. Thank you for the meal!

The business hours seem to be from 11:00 to 22:00, open continuously. I arrived around 17:00 and was able to enter easily. I ordered a set of 5 types of hormone including salted tongue, marinated tongue, loin, belly, harami, harami suji, kalbi suji, etc. The cost performance was really good. First visit to the restaurant "Yakiniku Horumon Sora Tsuruhashi Main Store" located about a 3-minute walk from JR Tsuruhashi Station. Even though I arrived before 5 o'clock, there was a long line... I was surprised to see everyone lined up! However, I decided to wait in line and was able to enter shortly after. This place is known for its horumon (offal), so I ordered salted tongue, harami (skirt meat), kalbi (short ribs), tetchan (beef tripe), upper mino (beef stomach), and white rice x2. Additionally, we ordered Calpis juice and my friend had oolong tea. The total bill came to 5,200 yen (including tax for 2 people), which was quite reasonable and surprising. While grilling, a lot of smoke was produced, but they provided a nylon bag to put items that you don't want to smell like smoke, which was very considerate. All the meat was delicious, but the mino and tetchan were slightly tough.

I visited around 6 PM on a weekday. There was a line outside, but since there was a roof and multiple stores, the turnover was quick and I was seated soon. I ended up in a section where the air conditioning wasn't working. They informed me that there was a time limit. The hormone I ordered was strangely mixed together and served with sauce. The menu has pictures so you can see which part you're ordering. Everything was fresh and delicious. The Yukkejang was especially tasty. However, it seemed like my second order was forgotten and I had to remind them before it was served late. The staff checks the entry time on the receipt. It's not a place to leisurely enjoy your meal, but rather to quickly peel and eat.

On a hot day, I went out into town with my wife and decided to have lunch drinks. We planned to have yakiniku in Tsuruhashi and aimed for the most popular restaurant, Kura-san. When we arrived, there was no line in front of the restaurant, but there was a waiting area across the street with air conditioning. We waited with about 10 people ahead of us. The restaurant had about 4 sections and the staff directed us to the 3rd floor. After a 20-minute wait, we were seated in a cozy room with tables for five. We ordered draft beer and as soon as it arrived, we ordered the meat - bone-in kalbi, harami, and a 5-kind hormone set, with a side of squid sashimi with white rice. The meat was served in one dish each. We started grilling the kalbi and the hormone. Everything was already seasoned, so it was quite flavorful. The squid sashimi was delicious and went well with the beer. The quality of the meat was average, but the hormone was particularly tasty. Since it was daytime, we stuck to one beer each. The total bill was around 6,500 yen. It was a good meal.

Taking a trip by train. So we can have a drink! We decided to have a yakiniku lunch in Tsuruhashi. We visited this place which had good reviews, while looking at the map. On both sides of the alley, there were several shops with "空" (empty) signs. Oh, there's no one in front of the shop. Is there no line? Not really, there were about 10 people waiting under a tent for a table. In the meantime, we decided what to order by looking at the menu posted on the wall. I declared that we must order the squid sashimi that I saw in the reviews! Definitely! And let's go for the assorted offal since we're not sure about horumon (offal). Then, what else should we order? After some deliberation, we settled on harami (skirt steak) and bone-in kalbi. The portion size on one plate is not large, as stated, but we're not sure about that as a middle-aged couple, so we'll see after we eat. While chatting about this, we were called in after about 10 minutes. The small entrance shop is on the third floor. There are five 4-seater tables. We were seated at the table by the window in the back. Despite the heat, the window was open. Is it for COVID-19 measures? There is a cooling fan facing us, so it's not too hot. We ordered two draft beers and medium rice. The squid sashimi, offal, and other meats were served on one plate. I'm trying squid sashimi for the first time. What is this thin thing? Oh, it's daikon radish. There are fresh squid pieces inside. They are cut quite large. The color looks spicy, but it's not that spicy, rather sweet and sour, and delicious. It's like a salad. What about the taste of the squid? I'm not sure, especially when eaten like this (^-^;) It's refreshing, so it goes well with grilled meat. (Regretting wearing white clothes as I splattered sauce in two places) The offal, especially the hoso (small intestine), was delicious as always. The texture and mouthfeel of the honeycomb tripe were interesting. I like grilled tripe, but the pieces are small (^_^;) The bone-in kalbi didn't meet our expectations. As it was grilled, smoke filled the air (>Д<;) Whether it was due to the wind direction or if I was being smoked, it was getting smoky. It also made my eyes watery. The heat was increasing as well. Hmm, it's a bit hard to relax here. We decided not to order more and asked for the bill. However, it took a while for the staff to come to the third floor. There was no bell to call them. Finally, when they came, we asked for the bill and were told to wait there. It was tough to wait until they told us the amount was 6,350 yen, and even tougher to wait until we received the change. Perhaps the ventilation and air conditioning effectiveness vary depending on the building and floor you are seated on? I think some level of preparation is needed if you visit during the hot summer daytime. Thank you for the meal.
