I used it for a friend's farewell party. The sashimi platter was impressive, with giant bowls of spiny lobster, fugu, and more. Then came the steak, simmered dish, fish, sushi, and cold dessert courses. I had 3 glasses of beer and 4 glasses of lemon sour at the specialty bar. We were in a private room with a sunken kotatsu table, and personally, I would give it 4 stars for allowing smoking at the table.

This is a seafood private room izakaya located in a building about a 5-minute walk from JR Sapporo Station. This time, I used it to deepen my relationships with acquaintances as I haven't been able to drink much due to Corona. It was a plan for 3,500 yen with all-you-can-drink, so I didn't have high expectations for the food, but I was surprised to see a sashimi assortment served first, and I thought the cost performance was not bad.

Enter from the entrance on the north side of the J55 building. All rooms are private, so you can eat and drink without worrying about your surroundings! There are no unpleasant staff, and I was able to drink comfortably. This is a shop where you can order with a tablet. Recently, there are many shops that use tablets! It's convenient, isn't it?

I arrived at the restaurant in 1930 and found it fully booked. Everywhere seems to be packed these days, even the flights. Luckily, I had a reservation, so it wasn't a problem. The price was 4400 yen with all-you-can-drink. I was looking forward to it as I was brought here by my local colleagues. I'm really sorry, Imari-san, you did nothing wrong. I've been working non-stop for the past few months without any breaks, and when I came to Hokkaido, I had some expectations for dishes like grilled king crab, grilled crab shell with miso and meat, or sea urchin from Funka Bay. I was a fool. This local izakaya is more suitable for young people and is reasonably priced. Tourists might want to try a different restaurant. Thank you for the meal. I'm sorry for venting.

This time, I visited the restaurant using a coupon. Thanks to the organizer. 2.5 hours all-you-can-drink for 3,980 yen instead of 4,980 yen. The course included: sashimi (live abalone, medium fatty tuna, salmon, shrimp, 2 pieces of sushi), crab shell grilled, pork shoulder steak, simmered young chicken and root vegetables, seasonal fish with green onion soy sauce, corn and edamame tempura, salmon and shiitake mushroom salted kelp rice, sherbet. We started with a toast with beer! Various dishes were served one after another. The crunchy texture of the live abalone was good. The medium fatty tuna was also delicious. The simmered dish had a rich flavor. The food went well with the drinks. The course meal was tasty and the amount was just right for drinking. The conversation flowed smoothly. After enjoying the simmered rice dish, my stomach was full. The 2.5 hours passed by in a flash. Thank you for the feast.

I went on a business trip to Sapporo and was taken out by a local employee. I was looking forward to enjoying the food as it had been a while since I was last in Sapporo, but the course was only ¥3980, so it was just ordinary izakaya dishes. I wish I had opted for a more expensive course to taste the seasonal flavors of Hokkaido.

It's too cold to walk outside, so I came to this building. They offer a 100-minute all-you-can-drink deal for 1200 yen, with the option to add Malt beer for 300 yen or Premium Malt for 400 yen. I chose the Premium Malt all-you-can-drink option. I had a seafood assorted sashimi plate with good variety except for the salmon. I also enjoyed the hot grilled shellfish platter. The minced tsubu (whelk) with cod roe was good, but I wish there was more of the tsubu's texture. The hot lava stone fried chicken with green onion soy sauce was delicious. I also tried various skewers such as liver cutlet, shrimp, asparagus, and white fish with sauce. The drinks were served quickly, and I was able to relax in a private room.

We visited a drinking area with five colleagues. We had all-you-can-drink, a seafood platter, pickled cucumbers, and rolled omelette. We started with a toast with beer and then switched to Japanese sake, specifically "Kunimare" from Mashike. The seafood platter was great in terms of cost and freshness. We enjoyed the food and drinks for two hours and had a great time. Thank you for the meal!

After a long time, I visited a few shops around Sapporo Station for a drink with a senior figure, which was rare. One of the places we went to was called "Kaizan Koshitsu Sakaba I Mari" or "I Mari." I initially thought it was a certain shop that closed in Susukino a few months ago, but it turned out to be a large chain store. At the entrance, we had to take off our shoes and put them in a shoe locker. All the seats were private rooms, but the typical cramped feeling of these types of restaurants couldn't be denied. We ordered the "Kunimare @630" sake and some dishes to go with it: "Asparagus Kushi Katsu @130 x2," "Ikura Bukkake Salmon no Oyako Isobeage @690," and "Oita Hiramasu Nigiri @290." The "Kunimare" sake was delicious, but the portion was a bit small, so the cost performance was not great. The "Kushi Katsu" was crispy and hot, perfectly fried. The "Oita Hiramasu Nigiri" was surprisingly good, with well-cooked rice, good vinegar seasoning, and fresh toppings. The "Ikura Bukkake Salmon no Oyako Isobeage" was tasty, but the combination of ikura and salmon didn't quite work for me. Overall, the food was decent, but the private rooms, especially the small ones, were not to my liking due to the echoing of neighboring voices. Thank you for the meal.

I remembered this place. It's the seafood private room bar Imari in Sapporo Station JR55 Building. You take off your shoes at the entrance and lock the door to enter the private room. I came here once before with a friend and it didn't go well, so I tried again after exploring other places. It's a large store with individual private rooms, which seems to be a common trend lately. The space for two people could be a bit more spacious. The appetizer was simmered bamboo shoots and chicken, with a strong flavor that some may find suitable for drinking. I noticed they have Jim Beam Highball, which was a pleasant surprise. The drink prices are affordable. I wanted a lemon highball, but I avoided it due to the artificial flavor that often comes with it. The Hiramasu sushi was delicious, as well as the asparagus tempura. The ikura (salmon roe) on the salmon and rice dish was a nice touch. The salmon tempura with ikura felt like a mismatch. Depending on the dish you order, the quality of the food can vary. I didn't try the recommended dishes this time, but I might do so next time at a different Imari location.

I came here for a replenishment of oysters. The oysters were cheap and delicious! It was my first time trying avocado ahihijo, but surprisingly it went well. The restaurant has private rooms, a decent selection of alcohol, and overall it was a satisfying izakaya.

This is an izakaya located near Sapporo Station in the JR55 Building. I made a reservation for a seat with my colleagues and ordered a drink-all-you-can option. We ordered dishes separately. The drink-all-you-can option included draft beer for 120 minutes at 1100 yen. As the name suggests, it was nice to be able to use a private room without worrying about others around. Orders were taken via a touch panel, and the drinks arrived quickly, with great service. The menu offered a variety of dishes, but it didn't seem to be focused solely on seafood. The "Seafood Assortment of Imari" included a selection of sashimi and sushi, offering good value for the price. One dish we particularly enjoyed was the "White and Red Shrimp Tempura from Toyama Bay," which had a crispy texture and a delicious aroma, perfect as a beer snack. There were also plenty of salads, fried foods, appetizers, and desserts available. Overall, it was a very convenient restaurant with quick service from ordering to food and drinks arriving.
