I bought the premium sushi set (1,500 yen), Atlantic salmon (100g for 399 yen), wild yellowtail (599 yen), and a box of fresh saury (1,500 yen) at this shop that is often featured on news programs. I parked my car in the parking lot behind the store, which has space for three cars. I couldn't resist buying the box of fresh saury for 1,500 yen. Just looking at the other items in the store was fun, and I ended up buying a lot. For lunch that day, I had the premium sushi set for 1,500 yen.

I went to Ichigo Sushi Shop for the first time in a while. I saw a post on Instagram and was shocked to find out that at this time of year, a box of 48 saury fish is only 1500 yen. Of course, I had to go check it out! When I arrived, I immediately bought some saury, sashimi platter, and a box of saury. When I opened the box at home, I was amazed by the freshness even though it was only 1500 yen. The freshness was top-notch! I quickly marinated the saury and salted it for grilled saury tomorrow. The sashimi platter I bought also had Norwegian Atlantic salmon, which was not frozen. It was fatty and delicious. The freshness of the horse mackerel was also excellent. I can't wait for tonight's hand-rolled sushi! I will definitely go back to buy more! Instagram URL: https://instagram.com/sakanaya.18?igshid=NjIwNzIyMDk2Mg==

During my visit in July 2023, I decided to try the "Whim Sashimi Platter" for 1,000 yen, which included saltwater sea urchin from Chitose and Osamumbe for 1,500 yen each. I also took advantage of the time-limited offer and got 500 yen off each of the Chinese eel over rice dishes. Additionally, I ordered live oysters for 435 yen and squid with sea urchin for 350 yen. The total bill came to 4,785 yen. I love fish, so I try to eat it every day, preferably as sashimi. However, on weekdays, I usually have to settle for leftover sashimi from the supermarket, as the selection is limited compared to Tokyo. But on weekends, I crave high-quality fish that I can't find at supermarkets or department stores. After visiting several fishmongers in town, I concluded that this place had the best selection, despite being far away. It was the day of the midsummer eel festival, and the restaurant was bustling. I ordered the "Whim Sashimi Platter" and live oysters, as well as the sea urchin and squid dish as a delicacy. Although the sea urchin was from China, it looked good and was reasonably priced, so I added an eel over rice dish to my basket before heading to the register. I also couldn't resist the time-limited offer on sea urchin at the entrance, so I bought two for 1,000 yen each. After leaving the restaurant, I stopped by Motsujiro for a drink and then bought a bottle of Yuki no Chashu at Marumi Sake Shop before heading home. For dinner, I enjoyed the live oysters and the "Whim Sashimi Platter," which included scallops, flounder, tuna, what seemed like Spanish mackerel, salmon, octopus, and egg. Excluding the egg, there were six different types of sashimi, each with generous portions. The tuna slices were particularly large, and the salmon was rich in flavor. The live oysters were exceptional, bursting with flavor, and paired perfectly with Japanese sake. Despite being from Miyagi Prefecture and not Hokkaido, they were delicious. The sea urchin and squid dish was also delightful, with large sea urchin pieces adding to the overall experience. As for the eel over rice dish, it fell short of expectations, lacking the desired tenderness and flavor. However, it was still enjoyable. I will save the sea urchin for when my order arrives. Compared to my previous purchase, the sea urchin had larger pieces and an even more intense flavor. The value for money was incredible! Overall, the dining experience was excellent, with the exception of the eel dish. The variety and quality of the sashimi were outstanding, and the sea urchin was a definite highlight. I look forward to enjoying the sea urchin from my order soon.

During the visit in July 2023, I purchased 500g of natural yellowtail, 500g of natural flounder, 200g of grilled Atka mackerel, 1,500g of salted sea urchin from Matsumae, and 50g of salted squid. The total bill was 2,750 yen, paid via PayPay. I continued my weekend fish market tour, visiting a popular fish store located about a 15-minute walk from Ei-cho station, the furthest subway station. The store is often mentioned in searches, and although it requires some transportation expenses, it can be absorbed by using a Donichika ticket on weekends after finishing errands around Odori. I carried a small cooler bag and headed to the store. The store was located across the street in a building that resembled an old-style longhouse, with a red heart mark as a sign. The narrow store was crowded with customers, confirming its popularity. I had to follow a one-way path around the refrigerated display case, so I carefully observed the offerings during my first round. Oysters were cheap everywhere, but no one seemed to be buying them. They also sold sushi and had a limited selection of sashimi (some customers requested a 1,000 yen platter to be made). They had salted squid, sea urchin, and other interesting items, as well as whole fish and fish for grilling. I noticed bonito, but it didn't look fresh. If I had come earlier in the day, I would have bought it! On my second round, I decided to get the grilled Atka mackerel and the flounder sashimi, both priced at around 500 yen each. I also couldn't resist the salted sea urchin priced at 1,500 yen. As I was about to pay, I spotted salted squid for 50 yen near the register and added it to my basket. The staff were not rude, but rather helpful, and the option to pay with PayPay was convenient. On my way back, I unexpectedly bought some sake and headed home. When I unpacked my backpack, I found that the grilled Atka mackerel was soft and tender, but unfortunately, it had broken in half. I decided to save one half for the next day. I prepared the yellowtail sashimi and the flounder sashimi in thick slices and enjoyed them. The yellowtail was delicious when cut into thick slices, with a distinct flavor. The texture of the flounder was also great, indicating its freshness. The affordability and quality of the seafood were impressive. I heated up the half of the grilled Atka mackerel and it was deliciously tender. The sea urchin was savored the next day and it was absolutely delightful. The salted squid I bought for 50 yen was average, but the fact that it was priced at 150 yen normally was surprising. Although it was challenging for me to travel to the store without a car, I will definitely visit again due to the great value for money.

A highly-rated fish market with a steady stream of customers. There may not be a long line, but customers are coming in one after another. Everyone carefully selects their purchases, resulting in a significant sales volume. I ordered the following: ◆Assorted sashimi for 599 yen ◆Two grilled red snappers for 399 yen ◆Flower crab for 300 yen I forgot to take a picture of the red snappers, but they came in a set of two for grilling. The sashimi was nicely arranged and reasonably priced. Next to the cash register, they had flower crabs on display! It's been a while since I've seen them! There was also a mountain of hairy crabs next to them. I bought one, even though they were a bit small. I promptly went home to prepare the flower crab! I found the crab claws! The saltiness was a bit overwhelming, overshadowing the flavor of the flower crab, but it's understandable since they were small. Still, I enjoyed it. This place is always popular, with several cars parked on the roadside when passing by. I'll definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal! (╹◡╹)

This is my first visit. When it comes to talking about sushi, it is said that you can tell the quality of a restaurant by trying their shiny fish and egg dishes. Shiny fish can be quite difficult to master. So, I bought some shimesaba... I think they use another seasoning besides salt to finish it. There are not many fish shops that do this finishing touch. It was incredibly delicious ♥️♥️ And there were also rare parts that were cooked perfectly. It was just too delicious. I will definitely go back to buy more. Absolutely amazing ♥️♥️

My wife saw on local TV that the store manager was handsome and bought discounted fresh salmon roe and fish. I was worried if she could call someone else handsome, but it seems there was no issue. This time, I was instructed to buy the cheap salmon roe because she saw it on Instagram in the morning. The store was quite crowded, selling side dishes and sushi. It was a bit inconvenient as many products did not have price tags or the tags were not visible. I bought 352g of fresh salmon roe for 2467 yen, which was divided for me. The bag was sticky and made my hands dirty. It was said to be top quality, but it seemed normal to someone with a discerning eye. I marinated it in soy sauce and it was delicious, so I will repeat if it's cheap. I also bought marinated herring for 350 yen, which was lightly seasoned and had a lot of herring, so I ended up eating too much. I added a bit more flavor myself and enjoyed it. Overall, it was a very good purchase. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal♪

In recent years, there has been an increase in individual fishmongers, but this shop here is the best, isn't it? The small shop is packed with sushi, seafood bowls, frozen items, sashimi, fresh fish, processed products, and more. I sometimes buy sushi for lunch. There are affordable options for 500 yen, but the 1000 yen ones have really delicious toppings! The "assorted sashimi" is a great deal. For 1000 yen, you get about 7 types of toppings with 4 slices each, so it's worth it! Sometimes they run out, but they quickly restock, so no worries. The fresh fish selection varies each day! The lineup makes you feel the season, and there are also rare items that keep it interesting.

This place has a great selection of fresh seafood at a good price. This time, I got some sushi to go. It had fresh crab, mackerel, salmon, white fish, tuna, shrimp, surf clam, scallop, sea urchin, and salmon roe. It was around 1380 yen, I think? Anyway, it's really cheap, right? haha. However, there was no wasabi with the sushi. I guess it's because it's not a sushi restaurant. I also bought some smoked salmon and salted fish eggs among other things. Thanks for the meal! I'll definitely come back to buy more.

When I went after a long time, the layout had changed a bit. There were some rare fish and the food was cheap and delicious! The only downside is that there is limited parking and it gets snowy, but all the staff are friendly.

Quite good. The sashimi and fish are fresh. There are various seafood items, making you want to go back multiple times. It might be more expensive than the supermarket, but the freshness makes it worth it. The staff are also friendly. The only inconvenience is that there seems to be no parking lot.

The popular restaurant did not disappoint. I purchased a sashimi assortment, grilled salmon, horse mackerel, and smoked salmon. They have items that you can't find in supermarkets, and everything looks so tempting. I want to go back again and again.

Since I discovered this store in Takatoshi Land, even though it's far from my home, I like to stop by when I'm in the area to casually browse various types of fish and buy sashimi and sushi. Today, I stopped by for a cream croquette snack and sushi for dinner. I went straight to the fried food section on the right side of the store. I thought the lady in front of me was choosing items from the fridge, so I accidentally cut in line and started selecting croquettes. It turns out she was waiting for the person in front to finish. I'm sorry for cutting in line. An elderly man seemed to be observing how to enter the line, but gave up as it seemed difficult. The arrangement in that section is confusing and hard to reach, so it might be better to make some changes. The croquettes were generous in size and heavy, making it a bit tricky to pick up with tongs without breaking them. Personally, I think it would be easier if they were already packaged in a bag from the beginning. The croquettes were shrimp and scallop cream croquettes. I had them as a snack while they were still warm at home, and the small pieces of scallop added a nice flavor. If the texture was a bit smoother, it would be even better. The impromptu nigiri sushi and tuna-filled sushi for dinner were both thick and flavorful. I enjoyed them both. Since the reviews seemed good, I also bought hokke fry and shrimp fry. The hokke fry was delicious with a nice amount of fat. It truly lives up to being a fish market. The shrimp fry was tasty with plump shrimp, but the batter was a bit too thick in my opinion. However, since the customer base seems to be mostly parents, the generous portion might be appreciated. It had been a while since I visited Ichiwa, and I noticed that the prices have gone up overall. It's understandable given the current high cost of living. I hope they continue to thrive and do well in the future.

[I went to "Ichiwa Fresh Fish Store" because it seems to be a popular restaurant with good value for money. It was a bit unclear whether the people in line were waiting or choosing their fish at the counter. An elderly woman stopped in front of me, and an elderly man cut in from the side. I decided to buy a sashimi platter, which cost 1,000 yen and 500 yen. It included some offcuts, so I'm not sure if it was a good value. I think the tuna was good, but the rest was just average. The store is a bit far, so I probably won't visit again.]

I bought a bento box from Ichigo Sengyo-ten for lunch that day. The seafood bowl was around 1,000 yen, and the eel bowl was around 680 yen (I forgot the exact price). I also couldn't resist buying a big crab stick they had. The seafood bowl was very fancy with sea urchin, crab, and salmon roe. The sashimi was thick and satisfying. The eel bowl had chopped eel on top. It was a good deal for enjoying eel. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

It's Sun's birthday at the Hitotsuwa Fish Store. It's still a one-year-old birthday, so it's probably more for the parents' enjoyment. The child seems bewildered by the crowds and doesn't respond even when I try to hold him. He quickly crawls away if there are people nearby. Does he really dislike me that much? I'm the one buying the sashimi, so I won't feed you anything!! If I did, everyone here would be in trouble. The sashimi I bought today was delicious. The crab was surprisingly cheap, so I bought two. In the end, we didn't eat the crab for the birthday, so I brought it home. It was small but had enough meat for one person. It was satisfying. The crab broth ramen at the end didn't have much flavor this time. It was cheap, right? I think it was 300 yen. It wasn't 500 yen.

I heard a rumor about a fish market and decided to check it out. They had a variety of whole fish, sashimi, sushi, and seafood bowls. I purchased sashimi for 1000 yen and got a 1000 yen discount on sea urchin and oysters. The sashimi was a great deal. I opted for a seafood bowl, which was overflowing with fresh ingredients. I have a feeling I'll be visiting this place often. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

In June 2022, I visited a fish market in Sakae-machi area where a handsome owner claims to sell fresh fish in a fun way. The small shop was packed, making it difficult to browse slowly. I had to use my ninja skills to quickly grab what I wanted. My haul for the day included a sashimi assortment for 540 yen, which was incredibly fresh and delicious with various types of fish. I also tried the owner's sushi for 500 yen, which was of high quality and included tuna, flounder, salmon, herring, steamed shrimp, scallop, and crab. The sushi rice was also delicious. Lastly, I tried the inari for 216 yen, a bite-sized treat with a citrus flavor that was juicy and satisfying. The food was affordable, fresh, and of high quality. Thank you for the delicious meal!
