【Completely Non-Smoking】Opened in the central area of Kitahiroshima City on March 25, 2023, this tonkatsu restaurant offers unlimited refills of rice, cabbage, and miso soup. You can order using a smartphone at this location along the Do-do 1080 (Oomagari-dori) street, about 80m from the intersection with Ballpark Street, heading towards Oomagari. It's about a 10-minute walk from JR Kitahiroshima Station.Visited for the first time on March 29, 2023, at 11:30 am. I had forgotten my wallet yesterday when I went to the new stadium, and today, despite believing the restaurant's website, I couldn't get in. What I wanted to say is that finding this place today and deciding to stop by was not a coincidence but fate. Now, I'm heading to Makkari to have ramen and fried rice, but I spotted a sign for tonkatsu on the way. I wonder when this restaurant opened? I entered the restaurant, but it had just opened, so I waited a bit. I sat at the counter and placed my order without using a smartphone, unlike other customers who were struggling with the system. The staff, with a smile, kindly taught each person how to order. I ordered the Aimore lunch for 1250 yen, with an extra large portion of rice and an additional 3 pieces of fried chicken for 330 yen. The food was served in just a few minutes. The miso soup was made with white miso and mushrooms, and the fact that you could have refills was a great service. The shredded cabbage with dressing seemed homemade and delicious. The frying oil for the tonkatsu seemed to be a mix of rapeseed and palm oil, giving a crispy texture. However, the pork cutlet was slightly overcooked, and the seasoning was a bit strong. The meat was undoubtedly from Hokkaido and tasty. The pricing was fair for the quality of the tonkatsu, tasty dressing, and delicious miso soup with refills. The fried chicken was made with ginger-marinated chicken thigh meat, but I would have preferred zangi instead of fried chicken. Overall, this restaurant offers great value for money, and I plan to revisit soon, as it is currently the only all-you-can-eat place around Kitahiroshima Station.
