Today was Sanpachi Day, so I had miso ramen. Normally priced at 950 yen, it was only 650 yen today, which was a great deal. The miso soup was on the salty side but delicious. I wondered if they put too much miso in it. It has been a while since I last came here, and I don't remember the soup being this thick. The firm chashu was also salty, as well as the menma. The stir-fried bean sprouts and medium-thick noodles were tasty, but they also absorbed the salty soup. The atmosphere is bright and pleasant.

【3/8 is Sanpachi Day】A well-known ramen chain in Sapporo! The price of their original ramen has been increasing year by year, and now their shoyu ramen is also priced at 900 yen. Today is March 8th, which means it's a special day at Sanpachi where ramen is cheaper. I ordered the shoyu ramen, usually 900 yen, for 500 yen using the ticket machine, and then proceeded to a separate booth. Each individual booth was quite calming, and they seemed to have introduced serving robots, although they were not operational today. Despite the crowd, I received my ramen in about 10 minutes. The blue bowl contained a very dark shoyu soup with a lot of bean sprouts, making it hard to see the noodles, which gave me a nostalgic feeling. The soup had a thick oil film on top and a hot, strong shoyu flavor that penetrated with saltiness. The umami from garlic and vegetables also seeped out, providing a comforting taste. The yellow, curly, medium-thick noodles were slightly firm and didn't get soggy easily, allowing you to fully enjoy the bean sprouts and onions before reaching the noodles. I was satisfied with the nostalgic yellow noodles and soup. Towards the end, I couldn't resist the loop of drinking the salty, rich shoyu soup and then sipping water. It was a stable and satisfying meal today. Thank you for the delicious meal! I only need one more stamp to get 10 service tickets, so I'll definitely come back again. #Sanpachi #SapporoShoyuRamen #38thDay #SanpachiDay #FoodPorn #SapporoLunch #SapporoDinner #SusukinoGourmet #HokkaidoGourmet #SapporoGourmet

On a certain weekday, I had lunch at Sanpachi in Chuo-ku, Minami 8-jo Nishi 6-chome. The parking lot in front of the restaurant can fit a few cars. The interior is a bit compact for Sanpachi standards, but average for a ramen shop, with a noticeable amount of counter seating with dividers. The background music is Japanese pop playing in a monaural-like style. From the menu, I chose the "Seared Salt Ramen (1000 yen)" and couldn't resist ordering the "Gyoza (300 yen)" as well. The ramen arrived without any steam rising, which may be due to an oil film. The noodles were yellow, medium-thick, curly, and had a chewy texture. The soup, with a slightly unusual color, had a burnt aroma from the searing process, which surprisingly made it more delicious as I continued to drink it. There was a wild and rough impression due to the contrast between the aroma and the taste. The toppings included stir-fried bean sprouts, a small amount of onion, ground meat, Naruto, green onions, menma, and slices of roast pork. The gyoza, with thin skins and a generous filling, had a light garlic flavor. Overall, it was a tasty dish. I couldn't help but feel that paying 1300 yen for ramen and gyoza was a bit expensive. The fact that they were managing with just one staff member during peak hours was impressive. I wonder if they can handle the lunch rush in this area. It's sad to hear that Sanpachi's famous ice cream service will end once the stock runs out at the end of February. Thank you for the meal.

Today is Christmas Eve. Is it a Christmas present? On Sanpachi Day, the regular ramen was discounted from 900 yen to 600 yen. I had no choice but to order it (⌒-⌒; ) I chose the miso ramen without hesitation. It was a coincidence, but there were other customers who seemed to be aiming for it, too, so it was very crowded as soon as they opened. I enjoyed the ramen deliciously. As expected from a long-standing establishment, sometimes you just crave this kind of taste. Thank you for the meal ♬

My daughter is starting to like ramen, so we went to Sanpachi, a place that holds memories for her. She enjoyed the miso ramen, but as you can see in the photo, I wasn't very hungry so I had gyoza and rice, which were just okay. Maybe the seasoning goes well with alcohol or beer.

It was salty after all~. But you know... even knowing that, I still go there (laughs) about once every 2-3 years. The bamboo shoots are salty, the soup is salty and rich, the vegetables even have a fridge smell, but still! I go for that taste. Sometimes you just crave saltiness when you're feeling tired, right? Today was one of those days. It's not that it tastes bad because it's a 3.1, it's not about whether it's delicious or not, it's more like... maybe it's like herbal medicine (laughs). In the old days, all ramen used to be like that. It was so salty that you kept drinking water and slurping the soup (^_^;) in an endless loop. The dryness in your throat after leaving the restaurant (laughs). Isn't this one of the few places that replicates the taste of the ramen from back in the day? Well, see you again in 2-3 years, so keep up the good work, Coro-chan (laughs). I'll come back to check.

Grilled salt ramen for 900 yen. Mini fried rice for 300 yen. Gyoza (5 pieces) for 300 yen. The ramen doesn't have much of a grilled flavor. The gyoza is juicy. The fried rice is more like the kind you'd find in a set meal at a diner. It's tasty, but overall the flavors are on the salty side.

I visited Ramen Sanpachi, South 8th Street branch for the first time! Shoyu Ramen for 850 yen including tax. It's a bit expensive, maybe it's better to come on a non-event day. It's a one-man operation. I ordered and went to the restroom right away. Soon after, the Shoyu Ramen arrived in about 3 minutes, quite fast. The soup has a punch to it, a bit salty but I quite like it. The noodles are firm, reminiscent of Sapporo ramen. It's delicious. It comes with stir-fried bean sprouts, 2 slices of chashu, and plenty of menma. The amount of ingredients is very generous. I had only tried it in Obihiro before, but I was pleasantly surprised (the Obihiro branch has been gone for a while). It's a completely different experience. A satisfying Shoyu Ramen. Thank you for the meal.

Due to poor health, I had to take a break from work for the third time, but I managed to make it to the opening of "Eating Too Much and Gaining Weight Theater Act 4." I will be returning while consulting my health for a while. Likes and comments may be delayed, but I plan to visit eventually, even if it takes some time. Thank you in advance for your understanding. [November 2020] This is my second review, so I'll keep it light. "Ramen Sanpachi" is a chain ramen restaurant in Sapporo founded in 1987. At one point, they had many locations and were quite popular. It used to be a place where you could enjoy a complimentary ice bar after your meal. Last year, I learned from a review by one of my followers that they had increased the number of "Sanpachi Day" deals. Previously, it was only twice a year on March 8th and August 3rd, where you could get ramen for 380 yen. The dates were chosen because "sanpachi" means 3+8=11 and 3x8=24. On these days, the 850 yen ramen was discounted to 550 yen for miso, salt, and soy sauce flavors. Additionally, seniors over 60 can enjoy the same discount on the 15th of every month. "Ramen Sanpachi" now offers many more great deals. On my way back from the hospital, I stopped by "Ramen Sanpachi Minami 8 Jo Store" for lunch. This visit was just before my hospitalization in September, so I had to go at a time other than "Sanpachi Day." I parked my car in the store's parking lot. The interior had raised seating, table seats, and a counter. There were no customers when we arrived, but two people came in after us. Both my usual companion and I usually order the "Miso Ramen" at "Ramen Sanpachi." So, we both ordered the "Miso Ramen." In just 4 minutes, our two bowls of "Miso Ramen" arrived. Fast!! ■Miso Ramen Noodles: Hokkaido-made noodles (not commonly seen in other stores) Medium-thick curly Sapporo noodles, slightly firm Soup: The miso flavor is strong. It's a nostalgic taste that's quite good. It's not exceptionally delicious, but it has a reliable taste. It's a bit stronger and more impactful than other Sanpachi ramen. When you add garlic, the flavor becomes much stronger. Toppings: - 2 slices of chashu - Menma (bamboo shoots) with the Sanpachi logo - Bean sprouts - Crunchy texture - Green onions - Onion - Chinese cabbage - 1 ice candy as a service Price: 850 yen (tax included) The miso and soy sauce ramen at Sanpachi come with 2 slices of chashu. The ramen is best enjoyed with garlic. On Sanpachi Day, you get 1 slice of chashu. The chashu on Sanpachi Day is also 1 slice. Maybe it's just me, but the 850 yen ramen seems bigger and thicker than the chashu on Sanpachi Day. (laughs) This is a ramen shop that isn't a must-visit for tourists in Sapporo, but it's convenient for everyday use. They have a nice touch with their "condensed milk strawberry" and "soda" ice bars. Both of us chose the "condensed milk strawberry." It's not a large portion, but it's as voluminous as a large portion at other stores, so I helped finish my companion's ramen. It's a perfect 750 yen ramen for us common folks. (laughs) It's a "Miso Ramen" with a taste from the Showa era. Next time, I might go on a "Sanpachi Day" for a better deal. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Ramen Sanpachi Minami 8-jo store @ Hiyashi Chuka + Large Serving ¥1000 After returning from Tobu Hotel and taking care of some business, I went out for dinner with my lover number 3. I saw a sign saying "Hiyashi Ramen" and I was immediately drawn in! I ordered the Hiyashi Chuka with a large serving (+¥150). The portion of noodles is quite generous for the price of 1000 yen. I took photos of both sides and then dug in. The sweet and sour classic Hiyashi Chuka sauce combined with Sapporo noodles is the ultimate combination! Personally, I prefer ham over chashu, but overall, I'm very satisfied with this dish. It's just my style as a Hiyashi Chuka lover. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

Ramen Sanpachi Minami 8-jo Store - Shoyu Ramen ¥850 There are many shops in Hokkaido that spell "shoyu" as "shoyu," but... Well, it's not really important, but I sometimes wonder which one is correct... That's the kind of thoughts that come to mind for the strong-willed Goromaru. So, I went to Sapporo Fujino Sawa Suzuran Golf Course for early morning golf, and although my DR shots have become more stable, I kept topping my shots within 100 yards, feeling like I have a slight case of the yips... Despite that, it was a fun early morning round with good weather (^-^)v I was planning to go out for errands after returning home, but did I get tired from being in the sun?! I ended up falling asleep on the sofa until the evening, waking up hungry, on this middle-aged holiday (^-^; To replenish my salt intake, I visited this place near my home. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen for a one-on-one battle! Boom! A mountain-like appearance with plenty of vegetables. Did it have this much oil film before?! Let's dig in right away. Hmm! It's salty... But I feel like having a bit more saltiness would be just right for my current tired body. Lots of vegetables also feel good for the body!... Well, at least it feels that way ( ・∇・) Thank you for the meal (*˘╰╯˘)ゞ

On 2020/03/30/MON, I went to Ramen Sanpachi Minami 8-jo store and had Hormone Punch ramen with a side of small rice for ¥1100. Originally, I was thinking of taking a bus to visit ramen shops around Sapporo, but when I saw the breaking news of SHIMURA's death due to COVID-19 on TV, I felt a strong sense of exhaustion and gave up on moving to the outskirts. I wasn't a huge fan, more of a "Hyoukin Zoku" fan than a fan of SHIMURA, so I only watched the Drift Grand Laughs a few times a year. However, when I was young, I used to shout "Shimura~Ushiro~!" at the TV screen while watching Drift. Sorry for the unrelated story, but this ramen shop is one that I strangely crave a few times a year, even though I'm not a big fan. The default ramen at Ramen Sanpachi has gone up to a starting price of 850 yen in less than half a year. A few years ago, you could have vegetable ramen in the mid-700 yen range... Now, I ordered the more expensive Hormone Punch (with small rice). The ramen, which combines Yukkejang-like elements and Cotchan-like hormones, is something I just can't hate at all. Plus, the small rice comes with free refills! Despite saying it's expensive, I'll probably end up coming back again♪ I'm satisfied! Thank you for the meal.

I left work a little early because I still haven't fully recovered from the cold I caught at the end of last year, but I ended up doing something unusual by drinking alcohol. I decided to cut it short and came to this ramen shop near my home. The shop seemed to be open until 9:00 PM, but when I entered, the staff didn't seem very attentive. I ordered the stir-fried miso ramen and it was surprisingly delicious. However, towards the end of my meal, all the other customers left, and I felt rushed to finish eating. Overall, the taste was great, but the service could have been better in terms of welcoming customers even close to closing time.

Continuing with last year's review, here are some photos from my recent visit for dinner. ・Old-fashioned Ramen (850 yen) As the name suggests, this soy sauce-flavored ramen brings a sense of nostalgia when you eat it. The taste is delicious, but I found the smell of pork bone or lard in the soup to be slightly off-putting.

When it gets hot, the symptoms worsen, it is a designated rare disease by the government. Unfortunately, there is no medicine that suits me yet. This review is based on my condition and consultation. Likes and comments may be delayed, thank you for your understanding. [October 2019] It was my first visit in a long time to "Ramen Sanpachi Minami 8-jo Store". I think it's been over 10 years. "Ramen Sanpachi" is a Sapporo chain ramen shop founded in 1987. At one point, there were many stores and it was quite popular. The ice bar service after the meal was a happy feature of the store. Recently, I learned from my followers' reviews that there are more discounted "Sanpachi Days". Previously, it was twice a year on March 8th and August 3rd for 380 yen. In connection with "Sanpachi", it became Sanpachi Day on the 11th with 3+8. It also became Sanpachi Day on the 24th with 3x8. The price of miso, salt, and soy sauce ramen for 850 yen each became 550 yen each. I visited for lunch with my usual companion, straight from the hospital as usual. (laughs) This store is located in the Yamahana area of Sapporo's Chuo-ku, along the streetcar line. Please check the exact location of the store on Tabelog. I visited around 11:30 on a weekday. I parked my car in the parking space in front of the store. The interior of the store is based on wood, giving a nostalgic old feel. (laughs) There are also raised seating areas at the tables. We both usually order "Miso Ramen" at "Ramen Sanpachi". Naturally, both of us ordered "Miso Ramen". After about 4 minutes of waiting, two "Miso Ramen" dishes arrived. Fast!! Miso Ramen Noodles: Hokkaido-made noodles (not seen at other stores) Medium-thick curly Sapporo noodles, slightly firm noodles. The miso flavor is strong. It's a good, nostalgic taste. It's not exceptionally delicious, but it has a stable taste. The salt content is lower than usual, just right. (laughs) When you add garlic, the flavor becomes much stronger. Ingredients: Chashu (1 piece), menma, bean sprouts with the Sanpachi name, crunchy texture, long green onions, onions, Chinese cabbage Price: 850 yen → 550 yen (tax included) Sanpachi's miso and soy sauce ramen come with 3 slices of chashu. On Sanpachi Day, it's 1 slice. On other days, it's the same as regular ramen. It's a ramen with a solid volume as usual. For tourists visiting Sapporo, it's not a store to go out of your way for. But for everyday use, it's a convenient ramen shop. Normally priced at 850 yen, considering the taste and ingredients, 550 yen is still reasonable and convenient. Even at 550 yen, the "Ice Bar" was served as a bonus. On March 8th, it was raised from 380 yen to 450 yen. Still, Sanpachi Day is very enjoyable. Seniors over 60 years old also get it for 550 yen on the 15th of every month. Sanpachi has significantly increased its discount days. If it's 550 yen, the frequency of use is likely to increase. The next visit is definitely on "Sanpachi Day". (laughs) Delicious, thank you.

On a scorching hot day, my body was completely dehydrated... Hydrating is important, but replenishing salt is also crucial! So I felt like eating a ramen with a strong salty flavor and ended up here ( ̄^ ̄ゞ). Maybe you haven't tried the salt ramen at this chain before?! So, I ordered the salt ramen. Boom! It exceeded my expectations! Let's dig in. This straightforward deliciousness is not recommended for those who are picky about flavors (*^^)v The classic Sapporo noodles are also a nice touch. The pork chashu makes you feel like you're eating meat! And the crunchy bean sprouts and cabbage perfectly complement the saltiness, making it taste even better when your body is lacking salt. I wanted to order rice as well, but I've been overeating lately so I resisted and paid the bill. This bowl was spot on for my condition that day (*^^)v Thank you for the meal!

On 2019/06/12, I went to Ramen Sanpachi Minami 8-jo store and had the Cold Noodles with Mini Fried Rice for 1100 yen. I caught a cold recently and although I have an appetite, I didn't feel like eating something heavy. I found a perfect option on my way home - Cold Noodles with Mini Fried Rice. Normally, people would prefer hot food when they are sick, but I prefer something cold. The dish looked perfect and the volume of the seasoned egg was impressive. The Sapporo-style noodles with the special sauce were just what I needed. The thick slices of pork were delicious, but I think the red-eared ham would have been a better match. The Mini Fried Rice was surprisingly flavorful and well-seasoned, it was really delicious. I hope this meal helps me get rid of this cold. Oh, I just realized that yesterday they had a Ramen with three flavors for only 480 yen. Anyway, it was a great meal.

As of December 2016, there is a branch located at Nishi 10 Jo, Minami 10 Jo (West 11-chome). You can enjoy the consistent taste that comes with chain restaurants. The nearest bus stop is Nishi 9 Jo, West 11-chome. There are many buses from Sapporo Station's bus terminal heading towards Ishiyama-dori, making it easy to get there. This place offers traditional Sapporo ramen, which is neither outstanding nor disappointing. Some people may claim that Sapporo ramen should only be miso-based, but that is a misconception. Sapporo ramen can be made with miso, salt, or soy sauce, and this restaurant offers all options. It is recommended for those who want to try classic Sapporo ramen.

The extremely spicy ramen for 950 yen was within expectations in terms of taste. The noodles were a bit too chewy for my liking. The portion size was very generous, so I didn't feel hungry even at dinner time. The soda ice cream I had on the way back was a nice treat.
