I came to "Namba Walk" in search of the "Kaki Fry Curry" at the curry specialty store "San Marco", but I had another purpose in mind. I stopped by a souvenir shop in Osaka before heading to "Namba Walk" and then targeted "Namba Gute", a cheap and delicious bakery on the west side of the first street in Namba. The freshly baked bread made from natural yeast, which has been in business since 1948, was lined up with a nice smell coming from the back workshop! With so many varieties to choose from, I had a hard time deciding and ended up buying a lot again. Here are the items I bought: "Happiness Cream Pan" for 200 yen, "Homemade Beef Curry Bread" for 200 yen, "Brochen Cheese" for 95 yen, "Brochen Curry" for 120 yen, "Salt Butter Anpan" for 160 yen, and "Salt Butter Bread" for 150 yen. I wrapped and packed all items except the top two in a ziplock bag and stored them in the freezer. The next morning, I enjoyed the "Happiness Cream Pan" and "Homemade Beef Curry Bread" with a cup of hot coffee. As usual, I used the microwave and toaster oven to reheat them. The "Cream Pan" was fluffy and soft, with a generous amount of firm custard cream that was mildly sweet, making me feel truly "happy" just like the product name suggests. The "Beef Curry Bread" with chunks of beef in it had a crispy thin crust and a spicy curry filling, which was delicious. The four frozen breads served as my breakfast for the next two days. The "Brochen Cheese" is a popular cheese bread that is very cheap and sells over 500 pieces a day. The "Brochen Curry" was also light and tasty, with curry sauce spread in a zigzag pattern on the surface. By the way, "Brochen" is a German word that means a small bread, and this one is small and slim, fitting perfectly in the mouth. When you take a bite, the chewy texture and the savory aroma of cheese spread throughout your mouth. The "Salt Butter Anpan" had too little red bean paste, but that actually enhanced the flavor of the salted butter. I toasted the simple "Salt Butter Bread" and spread mentaiko mayonnaise on it. The umami and spiciness of the mentaiko mayo combined with the butter seeping out made it absolutely delicious. Next time I go to Namba, I'll buy the "Brochen Cheese" again and make hot dogs or sandwiches. Bon appétit! (●^o^●)

You can buy delicious bread at a very reasonable price from your commute to your way home. The Broetchen sandwich (ham & onion) is simple yet incredibly delicious! I wasn't a fan of sesame buns before, but the ones from Namba Gute are really tasty. The small and easy-to-eat size is also a plus. The tuna sandwich is filled generously with mayo, and it was delicious with a nice mayo flavor. I will definitely come back to buy more.

✔︎Hokkaido Milk Mille-Feuille 260yen... A gentle taste made with plenty of Hokkaido-produced fresh milk. Surprisingly fluffy and sweet when you bite into the pastry! A sweet bread that dessert lovers will adore. The crispy butter sugar on top adds another delicious layer of flavor. This is a bread that makes you want to come back for more!

I bought a cream bun. The bread was fluffy and the custard inside was firm and plentiful. The custard was not too sweet and not too heavy. The bread itself had a slight sweetness and was delicious. The cream bun is good to eat at room temperature. The cheese bun, on the other hand, was quite hard and chewy. It tasted more like mayonnaise than cheese, and made me thirsty. It might be a bit difficult to eat if you're not very hungry.

I visited a bakery in Namba that I used to always stop by when shopping. It's right by the ticket gate, so you can shop without worrying about the rain. This time, I bought their most popular item, the Alpen (raisin bread) for 420 yen. It was my first time buying bread here, but it looked delicious. I resisted the urge to eat it right away and had it for breakfast. I toasted it, spread some butter on it, and it was so good. There were more raisins inside than it appeared, making it the best raisin bread I've ever had. I felt happy from the morning. I will definitely, definitely buy it again!

I forgot to buy bread for breakfast!! I searched for highly rated places on Tabelog and ended up here, even though the name and location didn't match. I got some half-priced ECO bread before closing time. Thank you for the delicious coffee and cheese toast.

I pass by the shop in front of the store every Monday and always see a few people inside. Finally, I had the opportunity to stop by and found a wide variety of breads lined up inside. My personal favorite was the Bacon Epi for ¥230. I felt the salt content was a little low, but the sturdy bread dough and bacon went well together and it was delicious. The Walnut Hard for ¥120 was simple and reasonably priced. It would go well with butter or cheese at home. The Sweet Potato Half for ¥250, although a half portion, was surprisingly heavy! It had plenty of sweet potato and red bean, making it a great value bread. Next time, I want to buy a whole one. The Crispy Donut for ¥140 caught my eye while waiting in line at the register. It was like a combination of Sata Andagi and Old Fashioned, with a crispy outside and fluffy inside, very tasty. The Almond Raspberry for ¥290 was a croissant with a melon pan cookie dough on top. It was so delicious with a strong raspberry flavor and aroma. Definitely a repeat purchase. The Gluten-free Anko for ¥180 was a great deal for a rice flour bread. The anko filling was light, allowing you to enjoy the bread dough. The Gluten-free Sweet Potato for ¥180 was also made with rice flour. The bread had a nice rice flour flavor and was delicious. Overall, there was a wide variety of bread at affordable prices, and each one was satisfying in taste. No disappointments! I plan to continue visiting and trying out different varieties in the future.

I visited a German bakery called Gute in Namba, Osaka after about 3 years. The area has changed a bit since my university days when I used to commute through Nankai Namba Station. Namba Walk has also seen some changes in its shops, but Gute is still going strong. I had to buy their cheese bread! It's as popular as ever, with many people buying around 10 cheese breads at a time. I bought one cheese bread, a half-size Mischbrot, and a fruit Mischbrot. As always, the cheese bread brought back nostalgic flavors from my childhood. The Mischbrot has a strong rye flavor, making it a hearty bread for meals. When you add ham or cheese, it feels like you're in the world of Heidi in the Alps. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I visited after 2 pm. There were plenty of freshly baked breads, and the unique breads in this shop are also popular. The shrimp salt bread in the photo is priced at around 200 yen, making it a versatile bread that can be enjoyed as a snack or a meal.

I bought the mille-feuille milk bread and burnt cheese cream bread! I'm also interested in the heavy red bean bread, cream bread, and egg bread... The mille-feuille has a fluffy and creamy bread-like dough with crunchy sugar and plenty of butter. The burnt cheese cream bread is firmer than the mille-feuille, but still soft with lots of cream. It has a slight acidity and a slightly bitter taste from the burnt edges, giving it an adult-like cream bread feel! This is definitely a repeat purchase! It's impossible for it not to be delicious!

Namba Gute is a bakery related to Awan Bakery. Their shrimp salt butter roll and cheese Danish look like sweets. The shrimp salt butter roll has a crunchy bottom typical of salt butter bread. The cheese Danish is a crispy type with lots of mayonnaise. Both seem to be high in calories.

A bakery in the underground shopping area of Namba, Namba Walk. It's a small shop that offers takeout only, but it seems to be quite popular so I was curious to check it out. The shop opens at 8 am, which is convenient for grabbing something before work. Inside the shop, there are many delicious-looking bread displayed. Although the shop is small, they offer a variety of products to choose from. This time, I chose the Bacon Egg and the Happiness Cream Bread. - Bacon Egg: It's a common combination of egg salad and ham, but the egg is cut rather than mashed, giving it a homemade feel. The chunks of yolk and white are present, with minimal seasoning. The egg itself has a strong presence. Personally, I thought it could use a bit more salt, but overall, the egg flavor was enjoyable. The bread was fluffy, soft, and slightly sweet, which paired well with the egg and ham. - Happiness Cream Bread: I was expecting a rich and creamy custard filling, but the texture of the cream was slightly grainy. Also, I was hoping for a bit more richness in flavor. The bread itself was not bad, but it was a bit firmer than I expected for a cream bread. I think a softer and more tender bread would have been better suited for a cream bread. Although this time the experience didn't meet my high expectations, there are still many other delicious-looking items like curry bread that I haven't tried yet, so I would like to try different varieties in the future.

A bit nostalgic, friendly commercial area. I stopped by a bakery in one corner. Blueberry bagel for 200 yen, crunchy and delicious. Donut for 120 yen. This is not a bagel, it's just regular bread! It's common, right? They sell fluffy bread as bagels... The donut was indeed crunchy and tasty. "Namba" or "Nanba"? Both! There are also many train lines, it's tough for Osaka beginners... (laughs)

In July 22, while traveling, I was looking for a convenient breakfast option near my accommodation, and came across this bakery located in an underground passage connected to Namba Station. I had already tried breakfast at another place earlier, but still felt a bit hungry, so I decided to visit this bakery. It was a bit challenging to find the shop in the maze-like underground passage, but eventually I found it. The bakery was open even though most surrounding shops were closed at that time. I ordered a Brotsen Cheese (96 yen) and a Beef Curry Bun (200 yen) for my second breakfast of the day. The Brotsen Cheese had a crispy surface with cheese on top, and it was the shop's bestseller. It was a simple and satisfying choice at a very affordable price. The Beef Curry Bun was also appealing with its crispy exterior and delicious filling. Both items were tasty and reasonably priced. I only tried two items, but I believe that all the items at this bakery are delicious. Overall, it's a great place for those in the area.

This is a bakery called "Namba Gute" located in Namba Walk, underground of Namba Station. It might be a bit difficult to find for first-timers because there are many shops. I visited after a meeting in Nipponbashi and had some time before my next appointment. I chose the usual salt bread and French toast from the various bread available. The salt bread was quite oily, crispy, and juicy, providing a satisfying eating experience. And the French toast was unique and unlike anything I had seen before. First of all, it was heavy! I couldn't even pick it up with tongs. It was much heavier than it looked. It was fluffy and soaked through with French liquid, making it very moist. It was almost like pudding. The egg flavor was strong, and the sweetness was subtle. If I had to be picky, I wish they made it in a mini size like a small sandwich bread. At this size, I couldn't finish it in one go for sure. Maybe it's better to share it with someone. In terms of French toast, this place would definitely rank high in my eating history. It was very delicious! I want to eat it again! Thank you for the meal (^人^)

Today I bought bread from this bakery. They had Broetchen on sale, so I decided to get it. I toasted it in a 1,000w toaster for about 1 minute and 30 seconds until the surface was crispy and had a delicious cheesy smell. The outside was crispy while the inside was fluffy and very tasty. It would be great as a snack with some honey drizzled on top. Thank you for the meal!

I bought some bread at a bakery inside Namba Walk and when I took it out of the bag, I realized that I had seen this bread before. It was the cheese fondue bread I bought at Izumigaoka Gute. The receipt said Namba Gute. I also bought a sesame bread for 95 yen, which was surprisingly cheap for me who loves sesame. My husband, feeling generous, ended up buying a raisin bread for 490 yen. But it was worth it because it had a lot of raisins and was delicious. We enjoyed it with cream cheese and red wine. The bacon and mozzarella cheese bread looked plain on the outside but had lots of bacon inside, making it a perfect snack. Thank you for the meal.

It's been a while since my Nagoya expedition. This time, I will be using the Phoenix for transportation. For breakfast at the beginning of the journey, I will have it in the car. I decided to purchase some bread that caught my eye at this bakery inside Namba Walk. - Brochen Cheese (95 yen): This is the most popular bread at this shop. It has a strong cheese flavor with a crispy texture. A bread that cheese lovers would be happy with. - Shrimp Salt Butter (160 yen): The pink color caught my attention. This bread had a slightly higher oil content, but it was delicious with a fragrant sakura shrimp aroma. - Tomato Bacon Ring (240 yen): The tomato and bacon with pepper seasoning stood out. The dough is chewy. It seems like it would be delicious to eat with wine. - Paris Mochi Sugar (200 yen): *Tax included. I ate it after some time had passed, so the crispy texture was lost. It seems like this bread would be more delicious if eaten immediately after purchase. Thank you for the meal!

I have used it several times. "Which one should I choose~" I can't buy many because I can't decide. I have a bad habit of being drawn to the sausage types. I'm weak to "freshly baked" and "most popular." I found it. The most popular item, Broetchen Cheese. It's chewy and has a crispy texture. Pan au Chocolat is good, and the fermented butter-scented Potato Salad Bacon is great.

When I searched for "Osaka German bread," I found this bakery I wanted to visit! The open kitchen and the bread displayed in the store look so lively \( ˆoˆ )/ When I see this scene, my hands holding the tongs start to shake. They all look delicious, and I want to eat them all! There are so many choices that it's hard to decide! The excitement is real! The bread selection includes various types of bread, including stone oven bread for ¥290 per loaf. It's said to be the pinnacle for bread lovers, made using traditional German methods. At the entrance, there are freshly baked egg-rich tear bread for ¥160. I can't resist this! The back of the store has a variety of hard bread, but I'll save that for next time! What caught my attention the most was the Mischbrot, a bread packed with walnuts and raisins. I got a half loaf for ¥245. There were other tempting options, but I couldn't eat them all, so I settled for these. When I brought them home, the tear bread was a bit flat, but still deliciously soft and sweet. The bread is smaller than store-bought ones but has a rich wheat aroma and deep flavor. It's delicious! The best one was the Mischbrot - it was even more delicious than it looked! Packed with raisins and walnuts, it was amazing! I should have gotten a full loaf instead of a half. I definitely want to go back for the French bread and the melon bread I'm curious about. It's an exciting bakery to visit!
