First visit, Sushi Suzuki at Ginza, listed on Tabelog Silver. I made a reservation over the phone and visited for lunch today. The dishes I had were: white cuttlefish, flounder marinated in kelp, yellowtail, lean tuna, medium fatty tuna, small skin horse mackerel, shrimp, giant clam, ikura, purple sea urchin, simmered clams, and toro roll. I got lost on the way but managed to arrive somehow. The rice was seasoned with red vinegar, slightly sweet, which I liked as Suzuki-san doesn't drink alcohol, which suits my taste. Everything was delicious, especially the yellowtail, horse mackerel, and small skin horse mackerel. I had a great time listening to interesting stories and recommendations from Suzuki-san, enjoying delicious Edomae sushi. Thank you for the wonderful meal today, I look forward to visiting again.

I made a reservation in advance and visited today. There were fewer foreign customers than last time, and on this day, the wife and her husband handled everything from welcoming to seeing off the guests at all 10 seats. It's amazing how they can do it all with just the two of them. Mr. Suzuki's sushi is excellent, and although he speaks softly, he has a lot of witty jokes that are quite funny. Thank you very much. We visited the restaurant for lunch with two people. The squid, flounder, barracuda, tuna red meat, medium fatty tuna, marbled fatty tuna, kohada, Ishigaki clam, white shrimp marinated in kelp, golden eye snapper, sea urchin, boiled clam, conger eel, fatty tuna roll, and egg were all exquisite! The hospitality from the moment we arrived to the moment we left was overflowing. Mr. Suzuki and his wife handled everything and it was truly wonderful. The fish, rice, and pickled ginger were all delicious and impressive. Mr. Suzuki is very friendly and enjoyable to talk to, creating a bright and pleasant atmosphere. We would love to visit again. "Sushi Suzuki" is a prestigious sushi restaurant in Ginza that received the SILVER award in the 2023 Tabelog ranking and was one of the top 100 restaurants in 2022. I was invited to go to Sushi Suzuki for the first time in a while. Note that if you arrive right on time, waiting in front of the elevator on a hot day can be a bit difficult, so be careful. Since it was very hot that day, I tried to arrive at the restaurant right on time. When I entered, I noticed that the head chef had changed his hairstyle. Since it was lunchtime, I opted for the sushi course. The sushi was delicious! The ingredients were fantastic and there was no room for improvement. I felt the sincerity and determination of the master when doing business. After going through various twists and turns, I finally entered the shop. The food was indeed delicious. I went to another place the day before, but the sushi and appetizers here were better in every aspect. I am impressed that they can provide such high-quality ingredients during this summer season. There was a double booking issue at the restaurant, but we managed to start without any major problems. The Hirame with ankimo sauce on top at the beginning was surprisingly delicious and I was impressed. The other dishes that followed were also very tasty, but the Hirame and whale meat were outstandingly good. The sushi started with squid, which was also delicious. Every dish that followed was also very tasty, with the horse dung sea urchin and purple sea urchin being the best of the day. The chef seemed to be busy, but we had a great time until the end. I definitely want to go back.

The deliciousness is consistent and too stable. Every dish is truly exceptional, and there is no room for complaints about the sushi! It's easy to make reservations over the phone, unlike online reservations which can be troublesome and lead to not being able to secure a booking. I hope they continue with this same level of excellence. This sushi restaurant is number one in many ways in Tokyo.

The appetizers at Yei's birthday celebration had a wonderful balance of sour, salty, and sweet flavors. The sushi had large pieces of fish and was delicately cut, with the chewy texture of the grilled squid being particularly delicious. The volume of the dishes was luxurious, and the wine and sake selection was good, although the bill was a bit on the expensive side. There were many foreigners, and we were the only Japanese customers that day, but we enjoyed the meal very much. The clam sushi was incredibly delicious... The portions were generous, so we asked for less rice in the sushi, but we still got very full. The rice in the sushi was a bit firm? It might be a matter of personal preference. During my last visit, I made a reservation and left. I was looking forward to the dinner reservation for the first time. On this day, there were 6 Japanese people and 4 foreigners out of 10 seats. I heard that there was a time when all 10 people were foreigners. They said it was lonely because they couldn't talk. The people on this day were quiet, and I was the only one who enjoyed teasing the chef. Perhaps it's because of the operation with the wife, the dishes were simple Edo-style. The Kenzo Estate Asatsuki went well with the sushi. The side dishes at Sakanaya are the most delicious I have tasted in Tokyo, personally I think they are superior to other famous restaurants. Chef Suzuki trained in the traditional Edo-style techniques at Aoki Gaku, but his current dishes have been improved with a very "modern style". The preparation of bird shellfish, whale tail meat, bonito, and mackerel are all perfect, with the seasonings not overpowering the main ingredients, allowing each dish to maintain its natural flavors. The vinegar used in the pickled mackerel is slightly firm, with just the right amount of acidity, and the rice does not clump together. The most unique aspect is the palm-sized bamboo shoot, which is directly packed and is sure to satisfy fans of silverfish. While Sakanaya may be slightly pricey in Ginza, the lunch menu offers great value for money, and the quality of the dishes is consistently high.

I took a day off on a weekday and visited Suzuki-san, whom I had always admired. The meal started at 12 o'clock with a course of only sushi. The menu included: Isaki, Ara, Kinmedai, Akami, Chutoro, Otoro, Kohada, Aji, Emperor shrimp of Aori squid, Hiragai, Kombu-marinated white shrimp (I requested a change from boiled shrimp because I don't like it), Uni, Simmered clams, Anago, Negitoro roll, Castella. I forgot to take photos of the rest, but there was also a soup and dessert. Everything was delicious and there were no disappointments.

Before the sushi, we were served a dish with carefully prepared dashi and jellied seasoning that had a very gentle taste. The sushi rice was exceptional, with each grain of rice dancing in the mouth and pairing perfectly with the toppings! The chef's lively conversation and lovely smile, along with the attentive service from the hostess, made for an enjoyable dining experience. I visited Sushi Suzuki in Ginza for a dinner omakase starting at 6pm. There was a counter seating for 10 people. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice, with beautiful interior. The meal started with appetizers, which were mostly ordinary but the turban shell and shrimp were delicious. I was surprised when whale meat was served, it was oily but had a good flavor. The sushi was mostly delicious, especially the horse mackerel and shrimp which were served in large pieces with rich flavor. The rice was at the perfect temperature and taste. I visited the 24th sushi restaurant in the Sushi Hyakumeiten 2022 Tokyo for lunch. The 10-seat counter with a straight hinoki counter is beautiful. The combination of refreshing acidity from the aori squid and the sweetness of the kabo is excellent. The karei (flounder) marinated in kombu is quite delicious, and the fat of the kinmedai (golden eye snapper) is also very tasty! The akami (lean tuna), chutoro (medium fatty tuna), otoro (fatty tuna), and kohada (gizzard shad) are all exquisite. The ebo-dai (butterfish) has a subtle sweetness that is amazing. The aji (horse mackerel) with ginger and green onions is fantastic for this season. The trigerfish is extremely delicious, and the large shrimp has amazing size and sweetness. The uni (sea urchin) gunkan is generously filled and delicious. The hamaguri clam and anago (sea eel) are also very tasty. The shari (sushi rice) has a strong acidity from red vinegar, and the freshly cut ginger and pickled ginger add a sour touch. The chef's personality is warm and cheerful, creating a pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant. Despite being run by the chef and his wife, they manage to maintain such high quality for lunch service.
