Visit on June 16, 2023, at 11:45 AM. Mr. "Takahashi" here is a regular at the ramen top 100 stores, which have been selected consecutively. Since it's only open for lunch, it's a high hurdle for business travelers to visit, but today, being a day off on the way back to Tokyo, I definitely wanted to go. The parking lot was almost full, but luckily there was one empty space for me to slip into. When I arrived at the restaurant, I bought a meal ticket, wrote down my name, and then waited in the car. From word of mouth reviews, it seems that the tsukemen, not the ramen, is popular. There are three types of tsukemen: regular, spicy, and miso. You can choose from small, medium, or large noodle portions. Today, I chose the "Miso Tsukemen - Medium Portion (1.5 servings) for ¥950". I handed the meal ticket to the staff and ordered the cold dipping noodles. After waiting in the car for about 10 minutes, they called me in. I sat at the counter and my meal was ready in about 5 minutes. The miso tsukemen had a good amount of chili peppers, which I like spicy, so it was not a problem for me, but for those who don't like spicy food, please be aware. The cold noodles were beautifully arranged in a streamlined shape. The noodles were as thick as fine udon, providing a satisfying texture. They had a strong wheat flavor and were delicious. The dipping sauce had a rich but easy-to-eat miso flavor that coated the noodles well. The chashu pork slices were meaty, and there was plenty if you eat them slowly. The menma bamboo shoots were so thick that they could be mistaken for chashu. Finally, I finished with a soup refill, drinking it all in one go. As expected, the regular at the top 100 stores did not disappoint. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
