First, upon check-in, we received a mini cup of soft serve ice cream as a service at the cafe entrance, and enjoyed it on the sofa seats. As shown in the photo, it was palm-sized. The rich milk flavor helped melt away the fatigue from the flight. What a wonderful service! In the evening, there was a free drink area (free lounge) at the long table at the back of the counter on the first floor, where you could enjoy reading books and leisurely sipping on Awa (other soft drinks). Starting from 8 p.m., we also had the opportunity to enjoy a lecture on Asahiyama Zoo and the brown bear. Since we stayed for two nights, we had breakfast here both days. The freshly baked waffles were delicious, especially when topped with various fruit sauces like blueberry, peach, mango, and apple. There were about 15 types of mini pastries and muffins, and we tried a few, including milk French toast. There were also colorful vegetables, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, pumpkin salad, potato salad, and yogurt. You could choose your favorite items in your preferred amount and enjoy them. The recommended dishes were the tuna and wasabi bowl and roast beef and wasabi bowl, so we picked these on the second day in a Japanese set meal style. The tuna and wasabi had a refreshing and spicy kick, which was delicious! There were several simmered dishes, pickles, and miso soup, making it a luxurious Japanese set meal. We ate too much in the morning and ended up with a very full stomach. Since it was during the summer vacation period for elementary schools, there were many families staying at the hotel, giving the impression of a full-house. Even if you arrived a little early at 7 a.m., many seats were already taken, indicating a bustling breakfast scene at the hotel. By 7:30 a.m., there were about 10 groups waiting in line. If possible, it seems best to use the breakfast during the hotel's peak hours in the 6 o'clock hour (by 7 a.m.). If you're going to Asahiyama Zoo, staying at this hotel and enjoying a delicious breakfast will create unforgettable memories! It's a kid-friendly and family-friendly hotel, making it a great choice for families. I'm glad I chose to stay here. In terms of service and atmosphere, the smiling staff and positive attitude that reminded me of Oriental Land left a great impression! (Please note that I am not making unreasonable demands. I understand that there are things that cannot be done.) Hats off to Hoshino for a job well done! ===========
