I used to be captivated by the aroma of burnt lard in the "Waryu Sapporo Ramen Hishio" and it was delicious. This time, I tried the "Spicy Shoyu Tsukemen" and it was also delicious. The noodles brought a rich umami flavor and a good amount of spiciness to my mouth, which was superb. For those who like spicy food, this level of spiciness would be pleasing. The addition of yuzu also added a refreshing touch. I usually associate tsukemen with a strong seafood flavor, but this one was not like that at all and I finished it at a high pace until the last bite. I wanted to enjoy the soup after finishing all the noodles, but I was too embarrassed to ask if it was soup-wari (soup dilution). So, I just enjoyed the rich soup as it was. It was delicious. Next time, I would like to try the "Rich Shio" ramen.

First time visiting! I arrived around 7pm on Saturday and there were plenty of seats available. More customers came later, but there was no need to wait in line. The parking lot can fit 4-5 cars. The ramen seemed to be burnt butter flavor? It wasn't too heavy, but also not too light, it had a perfect balance. Maybe that's why I didn't feel bloated afterwards! The meat rice dish was also delicious. I left feeling full.

Continuing with Hien. Today I had miso ramen. The soup was seafood-based, but the miso flavor was faint. If you imagine it as Sapporo miso ramen, you might be a little disappointed. However, it's not bad. I don't think I would come back often, but I would like to try the chashu ramen if possible.

I had the rich soy sauce ramen and meat rice bowl! The ramen was delicious! Personally, I thought both the soup and noodles were just right and to my liking! The meat rice bowl had a different taste than I expected. The egg looked tasty, but I felt like it was unnecessary. Overall, it was delicious, so I would like to go again! Thank you for the meal!

This was my first visit. I went with a friend on a whim around 5 pm. There were no other customers when we entered. We ordered at the ticket machine and I got the Sapporo ramen with flying salt and the meat rice. The meat rice came in about 5 minutes and it was delicious! The ramen came in about 10 minutes and it was also delicious! I thought the portion size was a bit small, but I was satisfied.

I chose the Shoyu ramen at the restaurant "Watariya" in Sapporo. I added extra green onions. This place is incredibly delicious. I have visited a few times and this recommended ramen here is just amazingly delicious. The slightly burnt vegetables and green onions mixed with the soup and curly noodles create a wonderful flavor. I finished all the soup as well. It is convenient to have a car for access. The manager, who seems like a skilled craftsman, and the energetic customers and the female staff member who efficiently handles the dishes all left a good impression. Their energetic greetings and strong presence were nice, but their smiles in casual moments were irresistible. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for the meal.

Looking for cold noodles, stumbled upon this place that I visited twice in 2016. I saw they had ramen without chemical seasonings, so I decided to try it. Although I forgot the details, I remember that it was delicious despite being free of chemical seasonings. So, I headed there thinking it would be a safe choice. The interior of the restaurant looked familiar. When I approached the ticket machine, I was shocked to see that they only served cold ramen. I couldn't turn back at that point. I ended up ordering the Cold Chicken Salt Lemon Ramen for 1000 yen. It was definitely a ramen type dish. The soup was thick and had a chicken-based salty flavor. The noodles were thin like cold soba and went well with the soup. It had bamboo shoots, chicken chashu, and green onions. It was a perfect dish for a hot summer day. A refreshing summer noodle dish. It was a bit lacking, but still delicious. Thank you for the meal. It was tasty.

When I visited Sapporo over a decade ago, the popular ramen shop Hienboku was already a hit, and it remains popular today. I tried their most popular dish, the seafood and chicken salt white soup ramen. The delicious soup, perfectly cooked noodles, tasty onions, and flavorful chashu all combined to create a taste that made me finish the bowl before I knew it. Fish and Chicken Broth Ramen - 950 yen It's been a while since my last visit, but the quality is still top-notch. The crunchy texture of the onions adds to the deliciousness. Personally, I prefer the noodles to be less slippery. Mini Curry Rice Bowl - 400 yen Simply delicious. The curry has a unique flavor that sets it apart from homemade curry. I would have preferred some Fukujinzuke on the side. On the counter, you can find shichimi spice, garlic powder, black pepper, water, tissues, disposable chopsticks, and toothpicks. Next time, I'll try the meat rice bowl.

I visited after about 5 years. The parking lot was the same as before, and I was able to park without any trouble. I arrived at 2:00 PM and there were 4 other customers already there. I bought a ticket and was directed to the counter, where soon after, the seafood and chicken salt shio ramen was brought out. It was just... how can I put it... I ate it without adding any extra pepper, and it was just so simple yet delicious. The flavor was so well-balanced, without any unnecessary additions. I marveled at how it was able to bring out so much umami without being too salty. It was not just delicious, but skillfully made. I finished the soup and left feeling satisfied.

It's been a while since I last visited! And it's been quite some time since I posted a review, so my memory is a bit fuzzy... Lately, there have been many new places offering seafood and white broth ramen. Maybe because of that, I felt slightly less impressed compared to when I tried it before? Nevertheless, it's still delicious ^_^ This is a place I'd like to visit multiple times at a relaxed pace! Thank you for the meal.

The ramen had two types of chashu, chopped onions, bamboo shoots, and seaweed. There was also green onions on top. Even though it was labeled as the most popular item at the ticket booth, I still asked the staff to confirm. This was my first time at this restaurant, and since soy sauce is my go-to, I was a bit flustered. Now, onto Hien. I've been wanting to come here for a while now, as the ramen near the Central Library was really delicious. However, the location is not convenient for me as I rely on public transportation. The noodles I scooped up weren't curly, which made me a bit worried, but they paired perfectly with the chicken and seafood broth. It was indeed delicious as expected. The chopped onions in the ramen reminded me of ramen shops in Tachikawa and Hachioji along the Chuo Line. Next time, I'll try the soy sauce ramen.

I ordered the recommended Otaru Jidori Chicken Shoyu Ramen from the popular No.1 seafood and chicken salt broth shop. The ramen was spicy hot and the noodles were thin. The broth was not the typical creamy chicken white broth, but rather had a strong seafood flavor. The chicken chashu was tender and delicious, while the pork chashu was flavorful and well-cooked. The soy sauce broth had a deep, clear color that looked beautiful and tasted delicious. I was satisfied after just one bowl.

Fish and Chicken Salt White Soup with Salted Egg Soup has a perfect balance with a strong fish flavor in the chicken white soup. The soup is rich yet refreshing, truly delicious. The presentation is beautiful, and the roasted char siu and chicken char siu are tender. The bamboo shoots are soft and even someone like me who doesn't like bamboo shoots can enjoy them. The topping of salted egg is incredibly tasty with its creamy half-boiled texture. Maybe two eggs would have been even better. The noodles are thin like Kyushu tonkotsu ramen, but personally, I find them a bit powdery. They use Sagamiya noodles, which are similar to Sakurajima noodles, I wonder? They also offer miso, tsukemen, and curry, so I would love to try them again if I have the chance.

I visited Hien for the first time in a while. This time, I tried their tsukemen for the first time. The noodles were firm with a good chewiness, very delicious! The dipping sauce had a gentle yet sharp soy sauce flavor. It was amazing when mixed with the noodles. Adding fish powder halfway through made it even more delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I visited this ramen shop for the first time in a while. It was convenient to have a parking lot haha. I ordered the seafood chicken salt white broth ramen with extra green onions on top. The photo shows it piled high with green onions haha. Usually, I leave some soup behind when eating ramen, but the soup here was so delicious that I was impressed. I also love green onions, so I was happy to have plenty of them. Thank you for the meal!

The restaurant is located inside New Chitose Airport and has been featured in the Michelin Guide (Hokkaido 2017 special edition). I visited at 12:00 on a weekday and there were only 2 customers already there and 5 more came in after me. The interior is small with an L-shaped counter, table seats, and a small raised area. According to the restaurant's description, they focus on serving healthy ramen and due to the time and effort put into making the soup, they only serve 180 bowls per day. I bought the most popular option, the "Fish and Chicken Salt Shio Ramen" for 870 yen from the ticket machine. It arrived in about 5 minutes and the soup had a good consistency and a nice balance of fish and chicken flavors. It was delicious and not too fatty, with a good depth of flavor and a refreshing saltiness. The noodles were slightly silky, medium-thick, almost straight, and very tasty. They are made by "Sagamiya Seimen". The toppings included bamboo shoots, two types of chashu, chopped onions, green onions, shredded red chili peppers, and seaweed. Everything was well-prepared and overall, it was a delicious bowl of ramen that exceeded my expectations. I will definitely revisit to try the "My Style Sapporo Ramen Flying Salt" soon.
