After a long time, I went on a trip to Sapporo. I was so excited and ready to hunt for delicious food. I bought a ticket for a high-speed bus from New Chitose Airport, but it was full and I couldn't get on, so I ended up taking a taxi from Susukino. When I called to let them know I would be late, they were very kind and understanding. They took care of my suitcase and coat. I wish I had worn a better coat instead of a down coat. When I entered the restaurant, a real wood-burning fireplace greeted me, which was very warm. Now, let's talk about the food. First, they explained the menu with the date: - Winter turnip brûlée with carabinero ravioli - Foie gras and beef shin terrine with Jerusalem artichoke mousse and Wada burdock - Pan-fried cod with new seaweed risotto and endive root broth - Roasted duck from Takikawa with sauce l'orange and cardamom-scented carrot purée - Small dessert mille-feuille with chocolate - Petit fours - Coffee The quality of each dish was high, and it seemed like they used local ingredients. The duck from Takikawa was incredibly delicious, especially with the sauce. However, my companion's duck was a bit tough. The vegetables were also very well-prepared. The dessert was delicious as well. The service was excellent, and I had a great time.

This is the 2,000th review. A restaurant located next to the greenery-filled "Maruyama Park". It is a lovely Western-style building created with the image of architecture in the northeast of France. A popular French restaurant selected for "French Top 100 EAST 2021", I made a reservation and visited for a holiday lunch. I reserved the "Alsace" course (9,075 yen including tax and service charge). We also requested the "Pairing" wine (7,865 yen). First, the "white wine Luberon" was poured as the course began. The appetizer was "Vichyssoise and Rillettes". Next was "Corn Bavarois and Herb-marinated Shrimp" ... The Bavarois finished with a rich corn broth, topped with consommé, the aroma of corn is irresistible. "White wine Sancerre", "Fried Conger Eel and Tabouleh, Red Pepper Mousse" ... The conger eel fritters are tender. The red pepper mousse is smooth, and the couscous sprinkled with vegetables is delicious. "Rose wine Zweigelt", "Pan-seared Sea Bass and Stuffed Squid, Bouillabaisse-style" ... This is said to go well with the Mediterranean atmosphere of the rose. The Bouillabaisse sauce is poured on the spot. The sea bass is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The Bouillabaisse sauce mixes nicely. "Red wine Burgundy", "Charcoal-grilled Takigawa Duck and Roasted Onion Sauce" ... "It's still in the middle of cooking." First, they show you the lid of the pot. It is said to be inspired by a barbecue. Afterwards, it is transferred to a plate, topped with onion and bamboo charcoal sauce, and when you cut into it, the meat juice is plentiful. We were able to enjoy the soft and flavorful umami. All the vegetables are also charcoal-grilled. The small dessert was "Hibiscus Jelly". "White wine Gewurztraminer", "Pineapple Baba with a hint of Yoichi" ... A classic French baked confection, similar to Savarin. The rich aroma of whiskey is irresistible. Whiskey-soaked pineapple and orange sorbet are also included. "Coffee" ... For drinks, you can choose from coffee, tea, espresso, or herbal tea, so I chose "Herbal Tea". I will enjoy it with raspberry macarons and financiers. The service here is fantastic!! The explanations of the dishes and wines are appropriate, and the staff casually bring up topics that guests may find interesting, allowing us to have a fun time. I think this is a wonderful French restaurant in terms of food, wine, service, atmosphere, and location!!

I stumbled upon this shop 20 years ago and have been curious about it ever since. Every ingredient, every step of the process exudes care and attention to detail. It's not just the food, but also the service, the interior design, and even the choice and washing of the dishes are all done with precision and thoughtfulness. It was a truly luxurious and relaxing experience for all the senses.

In conclusion, both the food and service were excellent! I visited for lunch this time. The dishes made with plenty of Hokkaido ingredients had a summer-like charm. I was very satisfied to be able to enjoy both meat and fish for lunch. The service was warm and kind, and everyone made us feel welcome. We were even escorted out by the manager, who lent us an umbrella as we had forgotten ours. I was truly impressed by the perfect service until the end. I would love to visit for dinner next time.

The atmosphere was lovely, and the restaurant was so nice that I felt like my voice might come out when I walked in. The dishes, all made with Hokkaido ingredients, were delicious. It's a restaurant called Hiramatsu, and the explanations were detailed and courteous. It's right in front of Maruyama Park. I would love to visit this place again.

This is my second visit. This time for lunch. The atmosphere was amazing! And the service was still fantastic as always. The non-alcoholic cocktails were not only cute in appearance but also delicious. The dishes that followed were smoked cherry salmon, pan-seared Hokkaido scallops with cress velouté, roasted pork fillet with seasonal vegetables and mustard sauce, a small dessert of citrus rose and pandepis, served in a black beer glass, and petit fours with coffee. We ordered a la carte, but the asparagus pie wrap from Higashikaguracho looked incredibly delicious! I would love to visit again for a special occasion.

I visited this restaurant for a birthday celebration! It is a high-end restaurant in Sapporo, but the detailed explanations of each dish, wine, and additional orders made me very satisfied. I added the white asparagus pie, pate de campagne, roast veal, and an ice cream served in a glass of black beer to the course menu. Each dish was a masterpiece with carefully selected ingredients and cooking techniques. Also, when you order the course menu, you receive a menu with the date on it as a souvenir, so you can take it home as a memory!

I changed my lunch set to a dessert specialty. I don't eat much for lunch, so I chose a set with fewer items, but it was quite substantial. My favorite was the amuse-bouche with three kinds of sweet potato and the specialty dessert, Ouberge de Lille's special peach bellini. It was a great start and a great finish to the meal~ Thank you for the delicious meal.

I would like to share a post from when my boyfriend celebrated my 26th birthday. Even though we were in a long-distance relationship, he came all the way to Sapporo and chose a restaurant for us. It was a really lovely place that also serves as a wedding venue, and everyone passing by Maruyama would wonder what this place is. We could only go for lunch because that was the only available time, but everything was delicious and we had a great time. I really love the kind of dishes that come out at the beginning of a course (limited vocabulary) and I just gobble them up, but I actually want to eat a lot more. I will keep working hard every day so we can come back to eat there again.

A standalone restaurant near Maruyama Park in Sapporo, which has been awarded 3 stars for over half a century since 1967. The Alsatian "Auberge de L'Ile" has been licensed by the "Hiramatsu" group, and has expanded to three locations in Japan (Sapporo, Roppongi, Nagoya). Our restaurant also received 1 star in the 2017 Sapporo special edition. The building also serves as a chapel, giving it a charming exterior. The interior is elegant in every detail. Although not reflected in the rating, the atmosphere would be around 4.3. The wine selection and service by the male sommelier are excellent. The main dining area on the first floor has around 10 tables with 2-4 seats each. The second floor seems to be designed for private rooms. The meal we had included: - 5000 yen (excluding 10% tax): cheapest lunch - 6000 yen: pairing - 1500 yen: cheese platter (3 types) The dishes we enjoyed were: - Appetizers: 3 types of starters including smoked salmon with citrus cream, truffle rice croquette, and Gougère (cheese choux pastry) - Appetizer: Turnip velouté sauce with carabineros and carabineros jelly - Fish: Cloud ear mushroom meunière and flan with endive root sauce - Meat: Braised beef cheek, parsley puff pastry, and taro and lotus root - Cheese platter: 3 types of cheese - Dessert: Strawberry and hibiscus jelly with white chocolate - Sweet: Apple pie with Sauternes ice cream - Petit fours (white chocolate macaron, matcha financiers), tea The overall dining experience: - Appetizers and main dishes were rated 3.4. - However, the dessert (5) made up for it with a +0.1 rating. - The apple pie dessert (7) was exceptional with a crunchy pastry. The additional drink served during the pairing also deserves a +0.1 rating. Overall, the food quality was rated 3.6, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was so good that it may have raised our expectations too high for the food. As a bonus, we attempted to visit the prestigious Hokkaido Shrine for Hatsumode (first visit of the year) but the long line made us switch to the Kaitaku Shrine along the approach. - Hokkaido Shrine: 2 stars - Kaitaku Shrine: 1 star

This is my favorite restaurant. I have visited for both lunch and dinner, and the quality is so high! I want to go back again and again. I forgot to mention that the person I went with is left-handed, but without saying anything, they quietly rearranged the dishes for the left-handed person. I was impressed by their observation skills. I had a truly wonderful time.

In my third year of living here, I feel a bit embarrassed to be trying out a French restaurant. However, I felt at ease and enjoyed a delicious meal following the lead of the experienced staff! Thank you for the wonderful meal! I always wondered what the beautiful building in front of Maruyama Park was, and it turns out it's a French restaurant! I didn't know until the day of my reservation. From the appetizers to the desserts, everything - the food, the service, and the atmosphere - was perfect! It was the first time I received a business card during a meal - the expertise of the veterans really shows!笑〜

At the western-style mansion, enjoying French cuisine, the one-piece onion jelly with Haboro-grown Botan shrimp topped with sea urchin in the Obeguj series by Hiramatsu. The cocktail of Ezo abalone in a pie is a foldable type. Served on a sauce with a faint aroma of cumin and green chili pepper. The lamb, accompanied by thyme, is also very fragrant and tender.

When it comes to French cuisine, it's common to think, "The presentation is beautiful and the menu is so fancy. Well, let's see if it tastes good... Hmm? Is this really delicious? I came for an early Christmas lunch! December is a long period, so I came with my friends. The first dish seemed to use celeriac. When I go out to eat, they ask about allergies or dislikes, but I usually don't mention things I don't like. I'll give it a try! Maybe I'll feel fatefully delicious here (o´艸`). I'm not a fan of celeriac, but it was delicious with just a hint of aroma. The surprise under the foam was also fun. Scooping it up with a spoon and finding various things was delightful (*´∀`*). I didn't take a photo, but we could choose from various cheeses that came out at the end. I chose something different from my friends and shared it. Not only the taste, but we also had a wonderful and relaxing time.

I visited after a long time (*´∀`*) The parking lot is a bit far, but the weather was nice so it was not a problem♡ When entering, they ask if you want to use the restroom, which is convenient before a meal. The salmon tartare was delicious♡ I definitely want to try making it at home (o´艸`) The pork fillet was cooked perfectly pink and tender. The shiitake mushrooms were big and flavorful. I enjoyed dessert and tea leisurely and left fully satisfied.

A one-of-a-kind house restaurant nestled in the greenery of Maruyama, opened in partnership with Hirama Tsu and a winner of the Muran from Alsace, France. The interior is well-equipped for weddings, with a touch of luxury yet warm and inviting. The space alone provides a sense of satisfaction. Although part of the Hirama Tsu group, the cuisine leans towards a more traditional French course, overseen by Auberge Drill. The service is impeccable, making it a truly wonderful experience. True to its name, a place you will want to return to.

This is a non-alcoholic lunch. I feel like pairing croquettes with champagne. Everything is delicious. The cheese flan has a gentle taste that is comforting. The abalone and foie gras dish, with abalone liver sauce, makes me crave red wine. The flavor of scallops wrapped in white foam is excellent. The elegant dishes keep coming. The duck breast has a crispy skin and is perfectly cooked. The sweet onions as a side are delicious. Even the dessert was enjoyable.

I visited around 12 o'clock on a weekday. It is a standalone restaurant next to a park. The parking lot is located a short distance away. There were so many staff members that it was hard to count. It seems like they also host events like wedding receptions, as there were quite a few people there for site visits. The interior of the restaurant has high ceilings and the tables are spaced out, giving it a luxurious feel. Once seated, the meal I reserved started. Without going into detail about each plate's taste, I would say that the flavors are on the lighter side. Each dish allows the taste of the ingredients to shine through. The vegetables and meat are delicious, and it feels like the dishes are prepared to highlight their flavors. The portion sizes are adequate, but I also ordered some cheese as an extra. The cheese options are classic and the overall atmosphere is great. It's a place that values showcasing the ingredients. The prices are reasonable, and I would definitely like to go back.
