Supporting local restaurants. Today, they were selling bento boxes outside. I ordered the zangi bento. Since it was made fresh and not pre-made, I had to wait 10 minutes for it to be fried. While waiting in the parking lot, they delivered it to me. It's like a drive-thru! And while waiting, they gave me a surprise - a complimentary grapefruit juice. Even though I came to support the restaurant, they went above and beyond with this service! And the juice was cold and delicious with ice. The zangi itself was flavorful and juicy with a tasty izakaya seasoning. The sausage on the side was a nice touch. And all this for only 500 yen! Thank you for the meal.

Yakitori bento for 500 yen. Not enough meat, too much rice left over. In the midst of the pandemic, I guess we just have to support restaurants. It would be nice if there were at least 5 pieces of yakitori, or if each skewer had more meat on it.

This is a review of a restaurant after a daytime lawn mowing session. I made a reservation for around 4 pm just in case. I was guided to a slightly cramped private room, suitable for larger people. I ordered the 2-hour all-you-can-drink option for 1,600 yen. The sashimi platter had overly soft sweet shrimp, small mackerel, small scallops, and small squid slices with a slice of lemon in between. The tuna and salmon were just okay in terms of taste and size. The grilled dishes lacked fatty flavor. The fried squid legs were small, as well as the grilled squid. Overall, the food quality and taste have improved compared to before. The staff seemed to be mostly university students, but they were friendly and lively, leaving a good impression.

I often go in the evening and always end up ordering the fried potatoes. The portion is large and fills me up. The butter that comes with it is perfect for when I want to change up the flavor. I highly recommend it. I also personally order the Caesar salad. I initially ordered it to get some vegetables, but now I can't eat any other salad because I love the taste so much. I will definitely be going back.

I often use this place because it's close to my home. It's a typical casual izakaya, so the menu is pretty average overall. The sushi is surprisingly good for an izakaya, especially the tuna. However, I felt like the quality may have dropped a bit recently, so I'll give it another try next time. The Tsubohachi ramen (soy sauce) is delicious! It's just what you need after drinking. Plus, it's convenient to be able to have ramen without moving to another place. The manager and staff provide good service, especially the experienced ones. They are polite and sincere.

During banquet season, we often rely on this place. The first floor is for parking, the second floor is Tsubohachi, and the third floor is karaoke "Asuka", so you can enjoy until late night just in this building. The food is typical Tsubohachi style, but it seems to be losing out to the direct stores year by year. In summer, they actively hold events like beer gardens and Genghis Khan parties on the balcony. There are no other places nearby that can accommodate large groups, so I hope Tsubohachi will continue to do well. There is a black and white painted vehicle waiting for cars to leave the parking lot here, so if you plan to drink, use a designated driver service.

Tsubohachi Ramen. This is pretty good.
