This is a restaurant located between Tanukikoji and Odori in Sapporo. The interior is spacious, with private rooms available. We were served a boat platter to start, which was impressively large. The size of the sashimi was surprising, and it was incredibly fresh and delicious. The cost performance was also great. It's a good izakaya that represents Hokkaido well.

I had always been curious about the seafood izakaya Kariina. I made a reservation for the all-you-can-eat and drink course and finally went there! It's a bit hard to find, but if you use navigation, you can locate it easily. The inside of the restaurant is non-smoking, but there is a smoking area available. We started with a lemon sour and the coupon seafood hot pot for a toast. There were three types of lemon sours available. The sashimi was especially delicious (((o(*゚▽゚*)o))). The tempura and oyster fry were also fresh and delicious. Thank you for the meal m(_ _)m.

When I went to Hokkaido, I used this restaurant recommended by a friend. The hairy crab was offered at 5000 yen, which was a good deal compared to market prices. It was much bigger than what you can buy at the market, and my family was very happy. The restaurant is operated by a seafood wholesaler, so the sashimi was delicious. They also offered all-you-can-drink options, making it a great value for food and drinks. Despite visiting during the pandemic, it seemed like there were a lot of locals dining there.

After finishing work at an off-site location, I headed straight home. While walking, I stumbled upon Karina's place. It had been a while since my last visit. I noticed a few new signed color posters on the wall. I started with a refreshing draft beer and some delicious pickled vegetables. The thirst-quenching beer was just what I needed after work. Since I was alone today, I ordered: - Sashimi trio - Additional bottle of Chitose Tsuru Junmai Daiginjo The sashimi trio included bonito, scallops, and whitefish, all fresh and delicious. I paired it with the premium sake for a perfect combination. Karina's sashimi always has generous portions. After about an hour, I left feeling satisfied and full. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Welcome. ---------- March 2021 ---------- The staircase to the 2nd floor facing east on the south 2 west 5 side is long haha |o| °д°)ノ Automatic door~ It used to be affiliated with Rakushouya, right? That 2500 yen food and drink deal was no joke. During lunchtime, they offer ramen and seafood bento set menus. The box seats are not very deep and a bit narrow, but there is foot traffic. It's calm during the day and you can enjoy your meal. The service by the staff is a bit iffy, but it's understandable. It's originally an izakaya that operates from night time, so it's appealing to have a "beer set" with a quick "Malt" (= ´∀´)ノ 凵゛ The "Black Soy Sauce Ramen" with stir-fried bean sprouts and onions has thin slices of chashu, but it's big and satisfying. Half a serving of menma and wakame on top (it's nice that the chewy noodles are dyed in the flavorful black soy sauce). They are really putting in effort. Next time, I'll try the miso and malt (it's not a sea bream ramen, right?)

I saw a red flag for ramen and decided to check it out. It seems like the izakaya started serving ramen during lunch hours. The business hours are from 11:00 to 18:00, with ramen available from 16:00 to 22:00. From 16:00 to 18:00, both ramen and izakaya menus are available. The ramen menu includes Sapporo miso ramen for 680 yen, black soy sauce ramen for 680 yen, salt ramen for 680 yen, and spicy miso ramen for 780 yen. I was curious about the sea bream ramen, but I ended up ordering the black soy sauce ramen. It was served promptly. The toppings included one slice of chashu, menma, wakame, seaweed, half-boiled egg, onions, and bean sprouts. The chashu was large and meaty, providing a good chew. The menma was a bit fibrous. The sautéed bean sprouts and onions added a nice touch. The garlic-infused soup, despite its black appearance, was not overly salty. It was piping hot. On 2020/12/18, I visited the private room seafood izakaya "Karina" at the "Tai Ramen" (with free extra rice) for 1000 yen. I noticed that the restaurant had changed, and they even serve ramen for lunch now, so I had to check it out! I think it used to be called "Gochiya" before, right? Since it's a seafood izakaya, I expected there to be plenty of ingredients, so I had high hopes for the fish-based ramen. So, I ordered the Tai Ramen (with free extra rice). It was a bit pricey at 1000 yen, but when it arrived, I was surprised to see so much fresh sea bream sashimi on top, it looked really luxurious. The soup was rich in sea bream flavor, with just the right amount of salt, and the noodles were nice and slippery. The thick sea bream sashimi soaked in the soup became so tender and delicious! For the extra rice, I topped it with sea bream slices and ramen toppings, then poured some soup over it to make an instant sea bream tea rice. It would have been even better with some wasabi or something to change up the flavor of the fish-based soup. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

I was lured by the sign offering all-you-can-drink for 980 yen from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, so I visited at 5:00 pm. When I mentioned that I wanted to use the all-you-can-drink offer, I was told that the payment would also be until 6:00 pm. So, I opted for the regular all-you-can-drink option. The restaurant is spacious with no doors, but there are high partitions creating a semi-private atmosphere, ensuring good social distancing. Orders are placed through a touch panel. We were served egg tofu as a complimentary dish. The sashimi platter with 7 kinds of fish was priced at 2480 yen, which I found to be quite reasonable. The medium fatty tuna was decent, and the simmered fish was large and delicious. The restaurant is non-smoking, but smoking is allowed at the counter next to the register. Thank you for the meal!

2020/7 Day Drinking in Sapporo! Found an izakaya specializing in seafood on a street just north of Tanukikoji, across from the Winds building. Despite some minor concerns, decided to give it a try. Early bird specials include two options: 2-hour all-you-can-drink + 3-piece sashimi platter for 1000 yen (with Hot Pepper coupon before 6 pm, excluding appetizer), or 120-minute all-you-can-drink for 980 yen (no appetizer, no food requirement). Opted for the all-you-can-drink only. Ordered through a touch panel and enjoyed a refreshing green tea highball. The portion size was decent, but noticed the early bird 400 yen discount on food was not available. Ordered the large grilled shrimp (2 pieces) for 580 yen, which was delicious. The total bill came out to be around 1400 yen per person, excluding tax. Overall, a satisfying meal!

I was intrigued by the name of this place. They don't have a food requirement for their all-you-can-drink option, so I decided to come here! 120 minutes of all-you-can-drink for 980 yen. No cover charge, no food requirement!! But I felt like I should eat something... so I ordered the jumbo shrimp. It was a big shrimp grilled with salt, and I enjoy eating it with the shell on. I lost count of how many drinks I had during the all-you-can-drink. I wanted to support the business in these tough times by eating more, but I was already full... I'm really sorry... I like the name of this place, so I will definitely come back again!!

It's time for a second stop to refresh our palates. This restaurant still seems to be affected by the ongoing impact of the coronavirus, as there are only a few customers inside. We had all-you-can-drink, a sashimi platter with 5 types (tuna, squid, scallop, octopus, shrimp), and crab pilaf. The sashimi platter was as generous as ever. We enjoyed the tuna and squid, my favorites! Delicious! The sweet potato shochu went down smoothly. I hope the coronavirus pandemic passes soon. Thank you for the meal.

After a month, I finally went out to the night city! A slight relaxation of self-restraint! The farewell party at work was canceled, but since we had all struggled together, we decided to have a small gathering with 5 people at Karina. We ordered the following dishes: standard all-you-can-drink, octopus vinegar miso, 7-piece sashimi platter, striped surf smelt, smoked cheese, ramen salad, Hokkaido potato fries, beef tongue with salt and green onions, and fried chicken cartilage. We couldn't resist ordering the sashimi boat, which we all agreed on. We started with a toast with beer, which went down smoothly. The smoked cheese, ramen salad, and Hokkaido potato fries were perfect with beer. We then switched to sake and enjoyed the sashimi platter and striped surf smelt. Everyone was delighted with the dishes and the sake flowed freely. We ended up drinking quite a bit of sake. Unfortunately, I didn't get a photo of the beef tongue with salt and green onions, and the fried chicken cartilage. It's been tough days for restaurants, but hang in there! Cheers to you! Visited with three colleagues. The restaurant had only been open for about two months. It was my first time, but my colleagues had been here before. The restaurant was on the second floor and quite spacious, with tables and private rooms. We were seated in a raised area. There was a tablet on the table for ordering, which was convenient for our course meal. The first dish was a colorful seafood carpaccio. Next was a sashimi boat with seven different types of fresh fish. The restaurant prided itself on being directly operated by a fish store. Then came a tamagoyaki topped with plenty of crab and salmon roe. Followed by salted zangi, which was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, made with local ingredients. I forgot to take a photo of the hot pot, but it was Ishikari hot pot with a focus on sake lees. We enjoyed it. The hot pot was finished with udon noodles. The sushi was ikura and tuna. Considering it's an izakaya, the quality was quite good. The grilled fish was hokke, which was large but frozen. The dessert was almond jelly. The staff were friendly, and overall, we were quite satisfied.

One month has passed since undergoing plastic surgery. I decided to lift the ban on drinking after work today and made a stop at Karina for a quick drink. Karina, located in the Shiroishi district, has moved to a new location in Kawashimo. Today, I am drinking alone and enjoying the following dishes: octopus with wasabi, tuna sashimi, and spicy squid. I am sitting at the counter and enjoying Sapporo Classic beer along with Chitosetsuru Junmai Ginjo sake. The atmosphere of the izakaya is nostalgic, and I quickly finish my drinks. The tuna sashimi and spicy squid arrive, and I pair them with Chitosetsuru Junmai Ginjo sake from Sapporo. The dishes are delicious, and I am feeling quite full. Opened on 11/8, this new restaurant was featured on a evening information program and I heard good things about it, so I made a reservation. Despite the large space, we were seated at a cramped table, which was a bit surprising. The staff kindly offered to move us to a different table where we could hear each other better. The restaurant has a capacity for large groups with many tables. The staff seemed a bit inexperienced, but that's to be expected at a new restaurant. Orders are placed using a touch panel, and there is a drink all-you-can option available. Be sure to check for coupons on Hot Pepper. The draft beer was aromatic, while the bottled beer included in the all-you-can-drink option was a nice touch. The food mainly consisted of fish dishes, with the hokke fish being frozen but large in size. The sashimi was luxurious. The total bill came out to around 3700 yen per person. Overall, the cost performance may not be as good as I had expected.

Grand opening day. I happened to be in Sapporo for some business, so I decided to check out this place that opened at 4:00 PM! From 4 to 6 PM, they offer a 2-hour all-you-can-drink special with a sashimi platter for 1000 yen (excluding tax). First, I ordered a beer, but it wasn't Premium Malt so the foam was lacking (laughs). This plan is the standard course. The sashimi was supposed to be three types, but they gave us five as a bonus! Tuna, salmon, scallop, sea urchin, shrimp - the freshness was average. The appetizer for 300 yen seemed to be shrimp or crab with tartar sauce? I wished it had a bit more saltiness (laughs). The mackerel for 780 yen had a dark color, not as shown in the photo, but the taste was not bad. The yellowtail collar for 880 yen seemed like a frozen item, a bit watery. I wish it had more seasoning! They offer highballs for the all-you-can-drink, but when I asked, they said they can also make it on the rocks! However, it's not on the touch panel menu, so you have to order it verbally!
