I suddenly felt like eating yakiniku, so I went to a nearby restaurant called "Kokaku-kan" and had some yakiniku. Normally, I go for the all-you-can-eat option, but this time I thought, "Hmm, maybe ordering individual items is a better deal?" So, this time I ordered a la carte (of course, I couldn't skip the all-you-can-drink alcohol option, haha). I ordered appetizers first - raw lamb for one person, two servings of upper skirt meat, and one serving of scallops. When the food arrived and I grilled and ate it, I thought, "Huh? The taste seems different from the all-you-can-eat option...?" It was so delicious! It seems like ordering a la carte results in higher quality meat and taste! Well, maybe it's the same taste, but because I'm a picky eater, it tasted better than the all-you-can-eat option. Kokaku-kan, I'm sorry! I'm sure both the all-you-can-eat and a la carte options are equally delicious. I didn't take many photos because I was busy drinking alcohol and eating, but seriously, it was so delicious! I will definitely go back again! ♥️♥️♥️

I stopped by after visiting a hot spring in Eniwa. From the outside, I thought it looked like a well-established restaurant, but when I entered, it was surprisingly spacious and clean! I was a bit nervous thinking it might be expensive, but looking at the menu, it was quite affordable, which put me at ease. I was tempted by the all-you-can-eat option, but considering my appetite, I chose the assorted set for 3-4 people "Gyu Wakamaru Set" (3800 yen) which included various meats and grilled vegetables. I also ordered "Upper Hormone (Salt)" (439 yen), "Bibimbap (S)" (479 yen), "Mega Jim Beam Highball" (429 yen), and "Cola" (242 yen). The meat was all tender and easy to eat, but the sauce was a bit monotonous as there was only one kind. It might have been different with salt, pepper, or lemon juice. However, considering the price and the generous amount of meat and vegetables, I was satisfied! I look forward to trying the all-you-can-eat option next time with an empty stomach. Thank you, "Ajiakukan"!

When I lived in Chitose, I used to go to this yakiniku restaurant called Kimumiyu. It was the go-to place for yakiniku back then. I knew it had undergone renovation after a fire, but I hadn't had a chance to go back until now. I had never gone to a yakiniku restaurant alone, so I asked two friends to join me. The all-you-can-drink option was 780 yen (for Kinmugi beer), and I added 300 yen for beer. We also ordered appetizers, soft drinks, miso horumon, salted gatsu, and a kimchi platter. Everything was delicious, although there was no standout dish. The horumon didn't have a strong smell. I wish this restaurant continued to thrive for a long time.

I had visited this restaurant a few times before starting my food log, but it had been renovated after a fire incident. This time, I went there for an offline meeting with two other people. Here is what I ordered: - Beef Shabu Kalbi 420 yen + tax - Grilled vegetable assortment 480 yen + tax - Special ramen [miso] 420 yen + tax - Medium rice 240 yen + tax - Soft cream vanilla 300 yen + tax - All-you-can-drink soft drinks 500 yen + tax I chose my favorite, Kalbi. Although there were various types of Kalbi, I went with the thinnest Shabu Kalbi. I tried Gatsu for the first time. I also had the grilled vegetable assortment and ended up ordering miso ramen instead of soy sauce ramen, which was softer than I expected. I should have gone with a small rice portion. For dessert, I opted for the safe choice of soft cream. I forgot to have a cappuccino at the end. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were kind and didn't rush us even when it was closing time. Thanks to my followers for the recommendation.

On the way back from Chitose, I used to stop by this place occasionally. They used to send me coupon emails regularly, so I thought they were quite diligent, but I haven't received any lately. So, I didn't even know they had renovated. The interior is clean now, with partitions between each table, giving it a modern feel (although I personally liked the old Showa-style). The menu has also become more stylish, promoting A5 Sendai beef as well. However, I prefer the hormone dishes. In my opinion, if a place handles hormone dishes well, then other meats will also be good! The hormone dish here was delicious... but the oiliness was unbearable! It was too much... It shouldn't have been like this, I really liked the careful handling of the hormone dish here! I even had my companion confirm it, but the oiliness was undeniable. It's so bad that I won't be coming back for a revisit... Goodbye.
