Delicious! Cheap! Generous portions! If you want to easily and plentifully enjoy Hokkaido food, I think this place is the best (as a Hokkaido resident). The food was really delicious and I felt like my stomach was going to burst, but I still wanted to eat more. I recommend the mini ikura donburi for women, it's enough. You must try the crab cream croquette! The staff were also very kind. I will definitely come back.

After consulting with my wife, we decided to celebrate her birthday in advance during the national travel support period and travel to Hokkaido. Since my wife's birthday falls while I am on a business trip in Kanazawa, we thought it would be a great idea to celebrate it early in Hokkaido. We took an early morning flight from our city to Chubu Centrair International Airport, so we chose a leisurely flight without any specific sightseeing plans in Sapporo, our first destination. By the time we checked into our hotel, the sun was already setting. We had dinner at a restaurant where I had previously visited, and this time we opted for a ¥10,000 course meal. The restaurant was located in a mixed-use building underground, and we were greeted by a tank of swimming squid as we entered. We were seated at a table for four, and we started with drinks ordered through a tablet. I had sake, while my wife had a lemon chuhai. Surprisingly, we were served a mixed plate of three appetizers and a sashimi assortment at the same time. The sashimi included nine varieties, all freshly caught in Hokkaido. The button shrimp served separately was of exceptional quality, unlike any I had ever tasted before. The peeled meat was so fresh and translucent, making me realize how inferior the shrimp I had eaten before was. Next, we had boiled snow crabs, perfectly cooked with a tender texture and rich flavor. I offered the legs to my wife, who was looking forward to enjoying the snow crab, and she was delighted. We then had fresh live squid sashimi, followed by live hairy crabs served as sashimi. The crab meat was sweet and delicious, and we enjoyed both the sashimi and boiled parts. Grilled alfonsino and golden eye snapper were served next, with the meaty parts going to my wife and the collar to me, which I found equally delicious. Good food goes well with good sake, so I switched to shochu with hot water after enjoying sake. The squid legs that were served as tempura were delicious with just a sprinkle of salt. We also had grilled abalone, which had a delightful ocean scent. The roasted beef salad was made with short horn beef raised in Hokkaido, and it was deliciously rare. We continued with crab cream croquette and finished with a crab cream croquette. The food was delicious and satisfying, and we enjoyed every dish.

The ikura bowl (small size) was amazing! Even when eaten with rice balls, it was perfect. The pickled herring sashimi was fatty and tender, the grilled oysters were creamy with large meat, and the fresh octopus sashimi was exquisite! The staff were kind and provided various recommendations, which left a great impression. I would love to visit again when in Sapporo! Thank you for the meal!

The other day, when I visited Hokkaido on a trip, I finally got to stop by a izakaya that I had been curious about for a long time! This place is listed in the top 100 izakayas and is very popular! The seafood is incredibly fresh and inexpensive! I was very satisfied! I will definitely visit again!

When visiting Sapporo, it is a must-visit shop that you always stop by. Starting with the crab cream croquette and finishing with seafood bowls, it is a standard. Once again, I start with the crab cream croquette. Not to flatter, but I have never eaten a crab cream croquette more delicious than here.

I arrived about 15 minutes earlier than my reservation time, but my table was ready so I was seated early. I had made a reservation for a live hairy crab, which was a bit small and cost 7,600 yen. The crab cream croquette was also delicious with plenty of crab meat, and I enjoyed it with crab sauce. Everything was delicious and I was very satisfied!

A popular seafood izakaya among tourists, including inbound visitors. The main store is located in Usuno with a total of 4 branches. It seems they have also opened a branch in Tokyo (Akasaka). I visited upon request from someone from outside the area. I arrived without a reservation on a holiday at 17:40, and on this day, the famous "live squid" was not available due to poor fishing, but I agreed and was able to enter surprisingly smoothly. There were many solo travelers. In the back private room, there were about 20 group travelers. Of course, I started with a classic alcoholic drink. "Sakemefun" was a good accompaniment to the sake, which I tried for the first time. The sashimi platter was mostly light and included fish like oilfish, shark, octopus, and greenling, typical of Hokkaido, but the real cod, herring, and abalone were consistently delicious and satisfying. The popular crab cream croquette was also impressive. The half portions of snow crab and hokke were also delicious in a typical Hokkaido style. Overall, the prices are slightly geared towards tourists, but the food is delicious and you can truly feel Hokkaido, which explains why it is popular among tourists. It's good for guiding people from outside the area. However, I personally wouldn't revisit on my own.

A friend recommended this restaurant to me, so I visited to enjoy delicious food slowly. The restaurant is located in an old building, with different sections on the underground and 1st floor. I was guided to the restaurant on the 1st floor. The seafood dishes were undeniably delicious, especially the large fresh oysters. I enjoyed crab meat and miso with local shochu and sake. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

When you come to Hokkaido, you should definitely try sashimi and grilled Atka mackerel. I tried sashimi of flounder and herring, which I had never eaten before, and it was great. The Atka mackerel was big and fatty, but delicious. I also ordered buttered potatoes and crab cream croquettes, which were also very tasty, so I recommend them too!

I made a reservation and visited on the last day of the three-day weekend. I had reserved for 6:00 PM but arrived early at 5:00 PM due to circumstances, and they welcomed me warmly. First, I ordered bottled beer, salmon mefun (salmon kidney salted fish), and Hokkai shrimp. It was my first time trying salmon mefun, and it was incredibly delicious! I could keep drinking just with this. The Hokkai shrimp was rich and the miso and liver were also delicious. And then, I bravely ordered the hairy crab sashimi. The meat was served as sashimi and the body was boiled. It was a bit pricey but absolutely delicious! Sweet and satisfying. I also had Hokkaido shochu and left fully satisfied.

I visited Kaiyotei in Hokkaido during my trip because it is highly rated among izakayas. We ordered sashimi platter for 2, crab cream croquettes, grilled squid, butter salted potatoes, horse sashimi, pork skewers, and crab cream croquettes. The crab cream croquettes had a lot of crab meat and the sauce was delicious. The sashimi platter had a lot of local fish like herring, which was a nice experience. The horse sashimi was lean and not thawed, which was surprising. Despite eating a lot, it was reasonably priced. We went on a Monday around 10 pm without a reservation and were able to get a table, which was great. Thank you for the meal.

I searched for "Sapporo, seafood" and found this restaurant. Although they didn't have live squid due to bad weather, the other seafood looked delicious, so I decided to dine here. I started with oysters and sake (complimentary appetizer was liver). The oysters were so fresh and sweet, and paired perfectly with the sake. The spot prawns were also amazing - sweet, large, and flavorful. And the uni was the highlight - firm and sweet, incredibly fresh. Everything was fresh, sweet, and delicious. The crab cream croquette was also a must-try, with crab miso in the sauce and packed with crab meat. The staff were friendly and even grilled the prawns for me upon request. Ordering was easy with a touch panel system, and the overall experience was great. I definitely want to go back to this restaurant and recommend it to others.

I noticed that there aren't many seafood restaurants open late during my trip to Hokkaido, so I looked one up on my last day and visited. I ordered fresh squid, crab, buttered potatoes, and raw octopus. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was like a typical izakaya. There were many salarymen having drinking parties. In many ways, it was delicious in a normal way.

Arrived in Sapporo. Checked into the hotel and came to this restaurant. It was my first time at this place, and I was surprised to find out that they had a restaurant on the first floor as well as in the basement. Since I had a child with me, we were seated in a private room away from the counter. I had pre-booked the Hakodate morning market course for 6,000 yen. In addition, I ordered croquettes, asparagus, and buttered potatoes for my child. Unfortunately, there was no live squid this time due to fishing conditions, but the sashimi included sea urchin. I also chose shellfish and crab dishes for the two dishes included in the course. The crab was both hairy crab and king crab. Everything was delicious, but the asparagus I ordered extra was particularly large, sweet, and tasty. My child also enjoyed the food. The staff were very friendly and helpful, sharing information about Hokkaido which made our trip even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time.

I went to a popular seafood izakaya in Sapporo. They offer a variety of Hokkaido gourmet dishes such as live squid sashimi, crab cream croquettes, crab, and hokke. The live squid sashimi requires a reservation in advance as it depends on the availability of ingredients for the day. Unfortunately, I couldn't try it even though I made a reservation. Instead, I enjoyed the large grilled hokke, which was juicy and delicious, and the luxurious crab cream croquette. The croquette was filled with plenty of crab meat and had a creamy texture. It was a delightful experience to savor Hokkaido's seafood along with Hokkaido sake. Highly recommended when visiting Hokkaido!

When I was planning my trip to Hokkaido, I researched various restaurants and made a reservation at this place because it had good reviews and the food looked delicious. I was really looking forward to trying the live squid and live crab. The crab sashimi made from live crab was incredibly delicious.

About a 3-minute walk from Susukino Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway Namboku Line. The atmosphere inside and outside the restaurant is completely like an izakaya, but you can see the chefs peeling crab meat in the open kitchen. Orders are placed through a touch panel. The specialty "Live Squid Odori-zukuri" was not available due to the lack of squid. We ordered the Hokkaido Crab Cream Croquette. The selection of sake is solid. Hokkaido sake has been receiving higher praise lately. In any case, the seafood menu is extensive. The ordered menu included: - Oysters in the Shell (with ponzu sauce) - Tataki (lightly-seared fish) - Hokkaido Crab Cream Croquette - Sashimi Platter (Hakodate style) - Boiled Hairy Crab in Seawater (served whole) (5,680 yen including tax) - Sake (Sapporo Classic, Niseko Special Junmai-shu, etc.) The service is prompt. The cod milt is rich but not overpowering, and it was delicious. The Hokkaido Crab Cream Croquette had plenty of crab meat and was good. A richer sauce might be even better. The sashimi platter had a variety of fish like herring, saury, and scallops, and the portion was sufficient. It was satisfying on its own. The boiled hairy crab was small but considering the price, it was satisfactory. We enjoyed the seafood from the sea of Hokkaido. The prices were relatively low. All-you-can-drink option available for an additional 1,500 yen (for 4 or more people, 2 hours). The course includes 2 appetizers (squid and kelp, shirako), live squid sashimi, squid and goro grilled on a ceramic plate, boiled hair crab (1/3 size), 9-piece sashimi platter (including ark shell, scallop, whelk, salmon, octopus, button shrimp, abalone, flounder, sea bream), 2 grilled fish dishes (quarter-sized golden eye snapper, salmon), boiled king crab, homemade crab cream croquette, grilled Ezo abalone, steamed or raw oysters, sea urchin sushi (with saltwater sea urchin and salmon roe), and Tokachi milk ice cream. I came to this restaurant after seeing it recommended on YouTube beforehand and happened to pass by. I ordered the following dishes: ★Squid sashimi ★Uni and ikura nigiri (specialty) ★Grilled salted mackerel ★Butter potatoes. You can choose to have the head of the squid grilled, tempura, or served as sashimi after finishing the body. Everything I ate was incredibly delicious. The butter potatoes were especially tasty, and they warmed up my body that had chilled after the snow festival. The specialty uni and ikura nigiri was also very delicious, and I ordered a mini version which was perfect. The restaurant was very busy, so I want to make a reservation and come back to dine leisurely next time. It's perfect for when you want to visit a delicious local izakaya. I think it's a hidden gem.
