This place is open on Saturdays too (≡^.^≡)【Dorayaki, ¥240】When you open the package and smell the aroma of the dorayaki skin, it's like, "Wow! Sweet and fragrant~" (ノ≧∀≦)ノ *nom nom* (^ω^)♪ The inside is fluffy and moist. The sweetness of the red bean paste is just right. However, the moisture from the red bean paste has seeped into the dorayaki skin, giving it a slightly soggy texture (^ω^;; Memories from over ten years ago when I first tried their dorayaki came flooding back. Just a little nostalgic, maybe.【Usagi-shaped monaka, each ¥140】I bought one with chunky red bean paste and one with smooth red bean paste. It's a must to get them in a box, for an extra 10 yen. Both have the character "卯" (rabbit) imprinted on the monaka skin. By the way, the one with sesame seeds in the skin is the smooth red bean paste. Both are delicious (≡^.^≡)♪ When you want to savor the red bean paste, the monaka is perfect (*^^*)

It was just an ordinary dorayaki without any particular excitement. Unlike the dorayaki from Seijuken, this one had more red bean paste than sugar and didn't contain mirin, so it doesn't last long. It made me crave the dorayaki from Kameju in Asakusa, which I prefer. They only accept cash payments.

【Usagiya】Nihonbashi Monaka boom. I wanted to savor the original taste of sweet bean paste... The "tsubu-an" has literally crushed sweet bean paste inside. What impressed me was the smooth sweet bean paste, the scent of sesame is just too good~ I usually prefer shaved ice with sweet bean paste, but I like the smooth sweet bean paste here more than the "tsubu-an" ❤️

I decided to walk from Nihonbashi to Tokyo Station, and luckily, I was able to purchase some dorayaki here. I will enjoy it as soon as I get home. The red bean paste is gently sandwiched between the soft dough, with the red bean texture subtly discernible. The dough has a slight sweetness to it, and the red bean paste is not overpowering at all. There is a harmonious unity between the dough and the red bean paste, making it an incredibly delicious dorayaki. This is a dorayaki that I will want to eat regularly.

I thought they only had dorayaki, but they also had manju and fresh sweets. The manju looked delicious in a traditional way. The dorayaki was 240 yen each. There were no long lines, and I could easily buy one even in the afternoon. The skin was elastic and chewy. The sweet bean paste was rich but not too sweet. I could easily finish about two of them in no time.

I have been enjoying their dorayaki for a long time. The red bean paste is not too sweet, and the pancake is soft and moist with a nice aroma, making it delicious. I visited just before closing time at 6 p.m. on a Saturday, and I thought they might have sold out of dorayaki, but I was glad they still had some left. I think it would make a great gift for a day when you can enjoy it right away.

Just a minute's walk from Nihonbashi Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line is the wagashi shop "Usagiya Chuo-dori Store." Located just a stone's throw away from the main store, this shop offers delicious wagashi treats, including their famous dorayaki. Despite no line at the main store, there was a line here – perhaps due to its location? After a 15-minute wait, I entered the shop. Having just bought dorayaki at the main store, I opted for a box of 6 assorted fresh wagashi to switch things up. From the vibrant Akane and Usagi-themed wagashi to those featuring Hagi, the colorful array of wagashi was a delight to behold. Their refined sweetness pairs excellently with tea! While Usagiya is known for its dorayaki, I personally found their fresh wagashi to be quite appealing. It's a tough choice between the two, but I might lean towards the fresh wagashi.

This is a Japanese confectionery shop in Nihonbashi famous for its dorayaki. It's recommended to make a reservation by phone, but you can also drop by in the morning to buy. The fluffy skin with carefully sweetened red bean paste is not unusual but a reliable taste. It's delicious. [Tabelog Rating Criteria] ☆3.5 Would like to visit again when in the area ☆3.6-3.7 Want to visit again ☆3.8-3.9 Definitely want to visit again ☆4.0- Wonderful shop. I decide based on my personal opinion considering taste, atmosphere, service, menu, cost performance, etc., whether I want to visit regularly.

This is the Nihonbashi Usagiya Chuo-dori branch. Dorayaki here is a favorite of our family, and we have come to the nearby main store several times to buy it, but this is the first time here. Just like the main store, it is an elegant and delicious dorayaki. I would definitely recommend enjoying it with some high-quality Japanese tea.

Visited the popular Japanese confectionery shop "Usagiya" in Nihonbashi. The Chuo-dori branch here is a branch of the nearby Nihonbashi main store, with its roots tracing back to the long-established "Usagiya main store" in Ueno. The signature menu item at "Usagiya" is the dorayaki, with the dorayaki from the "Usagiya main store" being counted among the top three dorayaki in Tokyo along with "Kameju" and "Kusatsuki". The dorayaki (¥240) made me wonder if it would be different from the main store nearby, but in the end, I think it's the same. It has a thick and fluffy gentle dough with a moist, smooth red bean paste. It's like a model dorayaki that could appear in "Doraemon". It seems to be subtly different from the Usagiyas in Ueno and Asagaya, so I'd like to compare them soon.

One of the places in Tokyo where I truly think the wagashi is delicious is "Usagiya." It's close to my office, so I often make reservations and go to buy some. Both the dough and the sweet bean paste are outstandingly delicious. The sweetness is also moderate, and I like the balance of the texture of the azuki beans and the moist dough. The expiration date is until the next day, so they don't offer shipping to other regions, which means you have to go buy it. That's why I really want to let others taste it. Among dorayaki, it's by far the best for me. I think I'll make a reservation and go buy some again tomorrow.

I dropped by on a weekday afternoon. I thought there wouldn't be a line, but when I entered the restaurant, it was packed. It seems like you can make a reservation, but even without one, I was able to buy about 10 items on a whim. The large dorayaki with delicious filling left me feeling satisfied. I love it as much as the dorayaki in Asakusa!

On a day off, I went shopping and stopped by this shop. It's a famous Japanese confectionery store known for its dorayaki. The shop is small, but there are always customers coming in and out. I bought two dorayaki, which were delicious with a thick and firm texture that I like. They were generously filled with sweet red bean paste, and the balance between the paste and the dough was perfect.

While walking around feeling irritated during lunchtime, I happened to pass by Usagiya and noticed that it was empty today. Since there was no line, I decided to go in, and to my surprise, they still had dorayaki left, which usually sells out quickly with reservations. I was lucky to be able to purchase dorayaki as a snack. I feel a bit guilty for only buying one, but I might end up eating all that I bought... The dorayaki with a moist dough and plenty of sweet red bean paste was really delicious. I enjoyed it as a tasty snack.

I had a meeting in Nihonbashi and stopped by after it ended. Normally, you can't buy dorayaki without a reservation, but on this day, maybe because of the intense heat, I was able to buy them without any issue. I took home the dorayaki (4 pieces) and enjoyed them right away♪ The skin is fluffy and has a nice texture! The sweet red bean paste is not too sweet, making it perfect for combating summer fatigue♡ Although there is also Usagiya in Asagaya, the taste varies depending on the store. Next time, I'm thinking of visiting the main store. Thank you for the delicious meal♪

I heard there is a shop with delicious dorayaki. When I went in the evening, the dorayaki was already sold out, and I was glad I had made a reservation. It was a very large size with some weight to it. The dough was fluffy, and the sweet red bean paste had a gentle sweetness. Dorayaki is not something I particularly like, but I found the one here to be delicious. It doesn't stand out, but you can feel the authentic Japanese confectionery essence. It was delicious. It's also good as a souvenir, and I plan to visit again.

Ueno Okachimachi's Usagiya is known as one of the "Top Three Dorayaki" in Tokyo. Even if you're not a big fan of dorayaki, the dorayaki here is exceptional and worth trying. This renowned shop is a branch of the original Usagiya in Nihonbashi. While Nihonbashi may not be part of the top three, their dorayaki is equally delicious. The sweet red bean paste has a rich flavor derived from black sugar, adding complexity to the sweetness. The moderately sweet outer layer is similar to the Ueno store and very tasty. Taste is subjective, and some may prefer this one over the Ueno branch. Usagiya also has a branch in Asagaya, so it might be interesting to compare the flavors.

Visited around 1:30 PM on Saturday, July 7, 2023. There were about 5 groups waiting in line, but I was able to purchase the dorayaki for 240 yen quickly. The chewy texture of the dough and the perfect sweetness of the red bean paste were exquisite. The filling was generous, making it a perfect souvenir or gift. I would love to come back and purchase it again if I have the chance.

⭐️A solidly filled and delicious dorayaki! It feels like you're eating the real thing! The size, texture, and taste of the monaka are all perfect! ⭐️Awarded 5 times for sweets in Tokyo's Top 100 Stores 2022 on Tabelog! ⭐️The main store was closed, so I visited the one on Chuo Street right away! I just had to try it! It was worth coming from Nagoya! Next time, I'll buy some to share in Nagoya on the way back! [Order Details] ● Dorayaki Monaka Assortment 770 yen 2 dorayaki, 2 monaka The small monaka is not in a crushed form but in a paste form, with a mild sweetness! Makes you crave matcha! It's crispy and satisfying! The bite-size portions look and taste elegant! The dorayaki has a thick dough with plenty of black bean paste inside. It's substantial, with a slightly firm dough, just like the image of dorayaki! You can buy them individually or in a box, making it easy to distribute as souvenirs according to preferences. [Access] 1-3-8 Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Diamond Building 1F ☎️03-3271-9880 It was worth coming from Nagoya because I finished everything! I'll probably have dorayaki and monaka again! As souvenirs on the way back! Well then, everyone, have a delightful tea time (^^)!

Visited around 9:15 am on Friday. I think they usually open at 9:30 am, but they were already open. I bought some dorayaki as a gift because I was visiting a client today. You can't go wrong with their dorayaki anywhere you take it. The closest location from my house is in Okachimachi, but this one near Nihonbashi Station is also very easy to access. I bought two for myself and my spouse. Ate them as soon as I got home. The skin is soft, the filling is very sweet but not too sweet. It's really delicious. I'll want to eat it regularly.

Weekday 3:00 PM. We were turned away when we arrived at 3:30 PM, so we came at 3:00 PM. Dorayaki is the best snack at 3:00 PM. I've conquered the dorayaki from all 4 Usagiya stores. They say the taste differs between stores, but I can't tell the difference. All I know is that they're all delicious! As with everything, the first one you try always leaves a lasting impression, so I think the Ueno store was the most delicious for me.
