~Memo~ I have rarely spent Christmas alone and quietly, always surrounded by loved ones. While society sees it as a special day to spend with a partner or family, I try to treat it as just another ordinary day for myself (laughs). Well, it's a bit of a luxury... I always keep the pizza and delivery flyers that come through the mail, even though I hardly ever use them (^^;) Finally, the day has come when those flyers come in handy (*´∀`)♪ It's great that they can deliver with just one phone call. In my mind, I ask, "Are you working on Christmas too?" (laughs) There are a total of 12 pieces here. I wonder if they're focusing on the second row, which has my favorite toppings? I like chu-toro, hokkigai, crab, and sea urchin (*´∀`)♪ Eating delivery sushi while lounging around at my own pace isn't so bad. It was delicious!!

I don't use it for private purposes, but I sometimes use it for lunch at work. I call at 10:00 on Saturdays and place an order after about 10 minutes. When ordering, the new staff member seemed to be asking someone as they said "please wait a moment" about 4 times. In the end, a veteran staff member took over. I ordered sushi lunch for 6 people. The delivery was scheduled from 11:00, but they said it would be between 11:30 and 12:30 due to being busy, and it arrived at 12:10. Every time, there is a paper with the name of the sushi chef inside. The set includes 6 pieces of sushi. You can choose between udon or soba noodles. The soba noodles were served with tempura, including shrimp, pumpkin, and green pepper. The shrimp was small and lacked substance, but it was crispy. The sushi was not as good as a certain conveyor belt sushi restaurant, but it was decently tasty. You can choose between miso soup or chawanmushi. Wasabi is included with the sushi, and additional wasabi was also provided. Plastic saucers are included. The soba sauce is made by S&B. It costs 850 yen. It's not incredibly delicious, but it's on par with supermarket sushi bento. But it's convenient because they deliver. I really appreciate it for our work lunches. It helped me get through the afternoon work, haha.

This weekend, my daughter, who came home for the first time since New Year's, didn't want to be apart from our cats even for a moment when deciding what to eat after shopping. She suggested eating at home instead of going out. In Muroran, options for takeout or delivery are limited. She said she wanted sushi, so we decided on Kaisenmaru. We selected a variety of dishes on their menu using our smartphones and called to order a combination of Yawaragi, onion rings, potato, and fried chicken. When we called around 13:00 on Sunday, they said it would be ready around 14:30. We placed the order and arrived home around 13:20. When we were organizing our purchases, the doorbell rang. They were so fast! It was great that we came back early. The total for the two of us was 4,140 yen for this amount of food. It's cheap at 2,000 yen per person for sushi and fried food. Plus, my daughter was delighted to spend time relaxing with our cats. Kaisenmaru has been taking care of us since my daughter was born, on family birthdays, Hina Matsuri, and other events. Even with small children, we could enjoy delicious sushi at home. We are very grateful for this and it holds a special place in our family memories. We hope to continue having delicious sushi delivered to us in the future. Thank you for the meal!
