ごんざえもんの館(2nd)
This is a business hotel located about a 3-minute walk from JR Otaru Station, with the main building and annex side by side. A request for an infidelity investigation came in Otaru. The investigation by some detective agency was discovered, so the request came here... The target is wary, so it is likely to be a long-term battle, hence the reservation at this business hotel. The accommodation cost is split in half, with the client covering half and the rest coming out of pocket in a somewhat confusing contract (lol). This is so that once all the work is done, my partner can fully enjoy fishing. The parking lot has space for 50 regular cars (600 yen per night) and the number of motorcycle parking spaces is unknown (200 yen per night), located in front of the entrance to the annex. All parking spaces are to be used according to the attendant's instructions. In terms of services, if you ask the staff, they can lend you a computer for a fee, as well as provide free Wi-Fi, extension cords, and USB outlets. The rooms also have excellent Wi-Fi. On the first floor, there is milk from a local farm next to the elevator, where you can receive one bottle per person per day, like a welcome drink, or rather a welcome milk (lol). The next morning, we decided to have breakfast (for a fee) at "Wakazushi" on the first floor. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you will see a ticket machine. I wanted to buy a meal ticket, but I only had a 10,000 yen bill in my wallet... When I tried to ask for change, the staff told me to just go in. There are 17 counter seats, 2 tables for four, and 3 tables for four in the tatami room. On the table, soy sauce, sauce, toothpicks, chopsticks, and ashtrays are provided. ◆ Breakfast (800 yen) Unfortunately, breakfast does not include sushi. It is a normal breakfast set. I overheard the staff giving a brief explanation to foreign tourists. Employee: Japanese style? American style? Foreigner: Japanese style! In other words, you can choose between Japanese or Western style. We received a Japanese-style breakfast without calling for anything... It consisted of white rice, miso soup, fried white fish, tofu, salad spaghetti, raw egg, seasoned seaweed, and pickled plum. Additionally, there is complimentary natto and seaweed tsukudani at another table, which you can help yourself to. Rice and miso soup are refillable. We first went to the other table to get natto and seaweed tsukudani, then put natto, raw egg, and seaweed tsukudani on top of the rice and poured soy sauce. Here, I made a little mistake... Due to lack of confirmation? It was my fault, but the seaweed tsukudani was super sweet... I tried to improve by adding a lot of soy sauce, but the sweetness didn't go away, resulting in a failed natto rice dish ( ̄O ̄;) The rice was slightly firm, which I liked. The miso soup had tofu, seaweed, and green onions as ingredients. I just wanted a normal meal, but I ended up ruining it myself... It turned into a noisy meal from the morning (lol) The stay is expected to be 1-2 weeks, but I probably won't have breakfast here again... My partner, the detective K, is indifferent to food other than ramen, which is not good... But the squid bowl he took me to at a roadside noodle shop in Asahikawa was cheap and very delicious (* ̄m ̄) ププッ
