This is a ramen restaurant located along Kita 8-jo Street in Higashi Ward, Sapporo City. It's my favorite place. On this day, I ordered the scallop chicken white soy sauce ramen for the first time. I also ordered a beer, but it turned out to be a Belgian beer, Hoegaarden. When it was served, I noticed that the bowl was different from the usual, quite stylish. The rich chicken white oil soup with a slightly bitter soy sauce flavor was really good. The harmony with the scallop paste was also amazing. I saw on social media that they increased the thickness of the noodles and the amount, but I didn't really notice the difference in thickness. Recently, at the main branch in Kikusui Motomachi, they only serve burdock root as tempura, but the simmered burdock root I had after a long time was also delicious. I still prefer having both on top. Both the soy sauce and miso are very tasty, but personally, I think I prefer the miso. Thank you for the meal.

The scallop chicken broth miso ramen with extra scallop paste seems to have a diluted original soup flavor in order to enhance the scallop paste. Despite the instructions to dissolve the paste while eating, the soup amount is low and the noodles absorb it quickly, leaving little time to enjoy the original soup or scallop paste aroma. The large burdock tempura is difficult to eat in one bite as it is tough to chew, making it hard to avoid eating it in one go. Those who like burdock may find it delicious, but it stands out in flavor compared to other ingredients. Frankly, both visually and in taste, only the burdock tempura left an impression. It might be better to rename it as Burdock Tempura Ramen, as I was extremely disappointed after having high expectations.

I tried the scallop chicken white broth ramen with salt at a restaurant near Ario in Sapporo, which is different from the liver paste at the other store, Amewa Yasashiku. The interior of the restaurant had stylish music playing, with only 8 counter seats available and a line outside. They allow baby strollers inside! The burdock was very delicious! Be careful, if you order extra noodles, the soup will decrease relatively! #HokkaidoGourmet #SapporoGourmet #Ramen #AmewaYasashikuNo2

The restaurant is close to my home, but it's so popular that I rarely get a chance to visit. It had been about a year since my last visit. Has the noodles changed? I'm not a ramen expert, so I can't make a definitive judgment, but the taste clearly showed the results of the constant evolution of the shop's policy. It was delicious as always. Thank you for the meal.

Ordered the Scallop Chicken White Soup with salt. The sophisticated and light chicken white soup, with scallop paste melting in it as you eat, changes color with each bite. Comparing the two types of char siu and enjoying the burdock tempura goes well with it. The collaboration of leeks and shiso, each with its own flavor, gives a down-to-earth feel that you should definitely try to imitate! Thank you for the meal.

It was a lunch visit. I had been to the main store a few times before. However, I am not a heavy user, so I don't remember the menu very well. I ordered the soy sauce ramen for now. Later, I remembered that I liked the salt ramen at the main store. The soy sauce ramen was... not what I expected. It was thick and heavy. Plus, the scallop paste made it even thicker. Ah, this is not what I wanted. I'm sorry, but it's not to my liking.

I ordered the Scallop and Chicken White Broth Ramen with Soy Sauce for 1000 yen. It had been about two years since my last visit. I was hoping to have the Light Ramen that was available last time, but unfortunately it was no longer on the menu. It seems like they only have rich and hearty options now. I hope they add more light and refreshing options in the future, so I can visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I always pass by this restaurant, and it always seems closed when I don't have plans but open when I do. Today, I finally got to visit for the first time. The exterior and interior of the restaurant are stylish and beautiful. I visited in the evening around 6:00 PM. I ordered the Honetsuki Tori Shio Ramen as it was my first visit. Since I don't know when I can come back again, I also ordered the Chashu Mayo Don. Both dishes arrived quickly. There were quite a few people drinking alcohol while eating ramen, so I wondered if that's the kind of atmosphere the restaurant has. The ramen was elegant, delicious, and visually appealing. The Ame (Rain) ramen, a gentle No. 2, was a new and pleasant experience.

On a Saturday around 11 am, I finally made it to the restaurant within walking distance from my house, despite being attacked by nesting crows. As expected, there were four people ahead of me waiting in line. Once seated, my bowl of ramen arrived promptly. The chicken broth soup was creamy, with a scallop paste on top of the chicken chashu, allowing for a change in flavor as it melts into the soup. The fried burdock served as an accent. I noticed that the ramen shop I visited last time also had burdock toppings. Is adding burdock to ramen a recent trend? The chashu, as mentioned earlier, was made of chicken. The chicken leg and breast chashu were tender and light, which I found to be quite enjoyable. This was my first time trying chicken chashu mayo rice bowl, and I actually prefer it over the pork as a ramen side dish.

I arrived 5 minutes before the opening and there was already a couple waiting in front. I noticed a long line forming at a shop across the street, but this time I decided to pass. This ramen was the one I wanted to eat the most on this trip. The shop opened and I purchased a meal ticket and handed it to the staff. The stylish interior of the shop felt more like a cafe than a ramen shop. I waited while watching the kitchen from the counter. When the ramen was brought out, I was impressed by the beautiful presentation. I hesitated to disturb it, but I took a sip of the soup first. It was lighter than I expected. After a while, I mixed in the scallop paste. The flavor became rich! This paste is really delicious (°_°) I wonder how they make it... The portion was bigger than I imagined, and I ended up quite full in the end. I hesitated about adding toppings when ordering, but the ramen was satisfying enough even without them. Several groups of customers came in while I was eating, so it was a good decision to come before the opening. It's within walking distance from Sapporo Station, so I definitely want to visit again.

We visited the restaurant in the evening as a couple. Since there was no parking lot, we parked at a nearby sports store for 200 yen per hour (about a 3-4 minute walk away). The counter seats were full, so we purchased our tickets from the machine and waited for our order to be called from the chairs in the back. The Scallop Chicken White Soup had scallop paste piled on top of the chashu like a tower. The scallop paste looked like potato salad, but it was delicious! Although it is recommended to slightly melt the scallop paste and drink the soup, it was so tasty that we ended up eating it all as it is. I struggled to chew the burdock, but managed to swallow both pieces. The soup was also delicious, and I almost finished it all. Even if it costs for parking, I would like to come back again. It's a ramen shop that I want to recommend to someone. Thank you for the meal.

On the afternoon of May 24, 2023, I visited this restaurant after searching on Tabelog, about a 10-minute walk from Sapporo Station. Upon arrival, the restaurant was full and the waiting area inside was also crowded, so I waited outside until a female staff member guided me to the waiting area inside. I purchased the Scallop Chicken Shio Ramen for 1,000 yen at the ticket machine, with an additional seasoned egg for 100 yen. After about a 15-minute wait, I was seated at the counter, and after another 10 minutes, my bowl of ramen was served. The soup, while labeled as chicken shio, had a yellowish color due to the chicken oil on the surface, different from the creamy white soup I had imagined. The noodles were thin straight noodles. The toppings included 2 pieces of burdock tempura, 1 piece of fried item, 2 rare chicken chashu slices, a mountain of chopped green onions on top of scallop paste, and the seasoned egg. The seasoned egg was milder in flavor than expected. I enjoyed mixing the scallop paste into the noodles, soup, and toppings, and finished the dish deliciously. Thank you for the meal.

I am walking in search of delicious ramen. There are several good ramen shops around here, so I am having a hard time deciding. What I am looking for is a ramen that is light yet rich and where I can consume a large amount of burdock. It was already past 1 pm, but there was a line. The restaurant only had about 8 seats, and we were the next after a family of four. It took a while for 4 seats to become available... so we waited. As soon as we sat down, the ramen arrived. It was great that there was no waiting time after sitting down! The appearance was also beautiful. The noodles were thick. The soup was hot as it intertwined with the noodles! You have to eat slowly and not rush, or you will burn yourself. There was also a seasoned egg topping♪ It was runny inside♪ There were two types of chashu, chicken and pork. The chicken chashu was tender and delicious! I melted the paste halfway through the bowl. I enjoyed changing the taste by eating without the paste, or by mixing in a small bowl. I love burdock. There were two types of burdock, and both were delicious. I consumed plenty of dietary fiber. Thank you for the meal.

Rain is a modern and calm ramen shop located about 10 minutes from JR Sapporo Station North Exit. It has more of a bar vibe than a typical ramen shop, and I had been keeping an eye on it based on local recommendations. The menu seems to be different from the main shop in Shiroishi Ward. You can see the kitchen well from the counter, and the meticulous workmanship raises expectations. There is a spotlight right above the counter, making the ramen well-lit and suitable for photography.
I ordered the Scallop Chicken Shio Ramen. It features a rich chicken broth, which is rare in Sapporo. The ramen comes with pork, chicken chashu, scallop paste, and negi piled up like a tower. The surprise topping of burdock and burdock tempura adds to the experience. As you gradually melt the scallop paste, the flavor becomes even richer. Enjoying the luxurious toppings while changing the taste was a delightful experience, making me want to visit the main shop in Shiroishi even more.
The location is convenient, just a short walk from Sapporo Station, so that's a plus. I would like to try the shoyu and miso ramen next time. Thank you for the meal.

Rain is a stylish restaurant name, but it's actually a ramen shop. A few years ago, it became a popular place in Sapporo, and I've been wanting to visit ever since I saw it featured on TV by Nax. I stayed at a hotel near Sapporo Station, so I walked over to make it in time for the opening. Surprisingly, there was no line at all, which was a bit disappointing. The soba shop across the street had a long line. ★ Date and time of visit ★ March 23, 2023 (Thursday) / 11:00 ★ Purpose ★ Early lunch alone ★ Order contents ★ Scallop Chicken Shio Ramen (¥1000) ★ Order to serving time ★ A little over 10 minutes ★ Impression of the dish ★ The presentation is amazing. It doesn't look like ramen at first glance (^_^;) It comes with tempura and you're supposed to mix in the scallop paste while eating. The soup is thick like potage. It's a type of ramen I've never had before, and my mind and taste buds couldn't keep up. I think it's delicious, but it didn't feel like eating ramen... And the strong taste of burdock made it a bit tough towards the end... Maybe if I tried it again, my impression would change, but on the first try, I was just amazed by this innovative ramen. ★ Recommended point!! ★ The stylish interior with only counter seats makes it easy for women to enter alone. I'm a woman who loves traditional miso ramen, so maybe this unique ramen wasn't for me. But I've been wanting to try it, so I was satisfied from the morning.

I had to wait for Triton for 80 groups, and I was already very hungry, so I decided to look for something nearby to satisfy my hunger. I came across a wonderful ramen shop that looked like a stylish coffee shop, with the owner looking like a coffee connoisseur. I ordered the salt chicken white broth ramen. When it arrived, I was surprised. It had three large burdock tempura on top! The soup was like a potage? It had a yellow color that made me think it had butter in it. When I tried it, I was amazed. It was incredibly delicious! It was like a western version of chicken white broth, with an amazing richness. And when I ate the scallop flakes with it, the combination was irresistible! The burdock tempura on the top was a bit disappointing because it was cold, but the other two were piping hot! Why!? I had to leave some behind because I was going to eat Triton afterwards, but unexpectedly, I was happy to have found such a delicious ramen.

On this day, I finally visited a ramen shop that I had been curious about for a while! It's located about a 10-minute walk from Sapporo Station, with a stylish cafe-like exterior. The interior is decorated with dried flowers, giving it a cafe-like vibe. Interestingly, on this day, everyone in the shop except for us were foreign tourists, making it an international atmosphere.
I tried the Scallop Chicken Shio Ramen, a luxurious dish made with Hokkaido scallop paste melted into a creamy chicken broth. The presentation was beautiful, and the generous portion of burdock tempura added a nice touch. The soup was smooth with a subtle sweetness and umami from the scallops, which complemented the chicken broth perfectly. The taste didn't change dramatically, but the slight variation highlighted the compatibility between the chicken broth and scallops.
The burdock tempura was also plentiful, almost overwhelming, with a rich and sweet flavor. It seemed like high-quality ingredients were used, and the attention to detail was impressive. The dish was creative yet likely to be popular among many people.

Visited with one other person. I thought it was a café since I was brought here, but it was a counter-only restaurant. We were able to be seated right away after arriving around noon, but there was a short wait for other groups afterwards. Tickets are purchased through a vending machine. This time, I chose the miso flavor. The scallop dish was the specialty, but even without it, the flavors were enjoyable. There were two different seasonings for the burdock. It was a rare occasion where I could finish all the soup. Thank you for the meal.

Visited after about 3 years. I arrived a little after 11 am on a Sunday, even though the store opens at 11 am, there were already a few customers ahead of me... It's definitely a popular place. Started by purchasing a meal ticket, I chose the recommended "Scallop Chicken White Soup" (salt) for 950 yen, with an extra large option for an additional 100 yen. I was seated at the counter. As more and more people came in, the place quickly filled up and there was soon a line outside the store... I'm glad I came early. Soon enough, my order arrived. The unique feature here is the deep-fried burdock. The soup is distinctive with its white broth, slightly yellowish and sweet. In the center, there was a mountain of scallop paste. The noodles were thin but had a good chew, and they paired well with the slightly sweet soup. For the second half of the meal, I recommend mixing in the scallop paste for a delicious change in flavor. It's a bowl of ramen that you can enjoy multiple times. The ramen here feels more like a "dish." Thank you for the meal! #Sapporo's right choice

I went for an on-site inspection in the morning, had a meeting, then took the afternoon off. I went straight back from the site and stopped by "Ame wa Yasashiku No.2" to have lunch. There is no parking lot, so I had to use a coin parking nearby. You buy your order from a ticket machine right at the entrance. There are 8 counter seats inside. This time, I ordered the "Scallop Chicken Shio Ramen (950 yen)". I had been wanting to go there for a long time, and finally got the chance. It's a popular place, and the miso ramen was delicious. It didn't taste too much like miso, but the soup had a good flavor. I was worried that the noodles wouldn't have much flavor, but they were tasty and the broth coated them nicely. The chashu was also delicious. There was a line forming outside while I was eating. It's definitely a great place.
