Hello, this is Mormor. The other day, when I went to Asahikawa, I visited "Shokusai Ajimimai" for dinner. We hadn't decided where to eat until the last minute, so we asked the hotel front desk for recommendations, but they were all fully booked probably due to the holiday weekend. Finally, we managed to make a reservation at "Shokusai Ajimimai". We were seated at a table on the 1st floor, and surprisingly, there were no other customers besides us on the first day of the long weekend. The appetizer was a pre-made saraspa, which gave us a bit of a bad feeling. Nevertheless, we started with a highball toast. First, we had asparagus tempura. The hot asparagus was tender even on the skin and tasted delicious with salt. Next, we tried the grilled squid, which was very fresh and flavorful. Since we were in Hokkaido, we also ordered the chicken zangi, which was also quite tasty. We decided to splurge on the steamed Hanasakigani, which was priced by weight at the crab shop. A generous portion of delicious Hanasakigani was served, filled with plenty of meat and a natural saltiness that made it enjoyable even without any additional seasoning. Unfortunately, due to a shortage of sea urchins this year, we couldn't order the Uni Ikura Don, but my friend's wife thoroughly enjoyed the seafood bowl. In conclusion, despite the pre-made saraspa appetizer, the asparagus tempura, grilled squid, and steamed Hanasakigani were all delicious and worth the price. The dishes made with local ingredients were undeniably tasty, making it a great place to enjoy seafood and drinks. It was quite surprising that the restaurant was so empty, given the quality of the food. You can find more details about the restaurant here → https://wp.me/pb52jZ-84A
