A unique standing sushi bar that aims to blend Okinawa and Hokkaido flavors. It's a popular spot in Susukino, perfect for a second or third drink. The phone kept ringing with reservation inquiries, showing its popularity. We switched from beer to shochu as we enjoyed some namerou and a few sushi pieces. The "Blue Three" is apparently three kinds of blue fish, with the herring being particularly delicious, so we ended up ordering more. The fatty tuna roll was also exceptionally tasty. It's not a place to linger, but the food is delicious and the atmosphere is cozy. Thank you for the meal.

Good day everyone! After enjoying some creative cuisine and karaoke at the karaoke box, we felt a bit peckish. So, we decided to stop by "Tachigui-dokoro Chokotto Sushi" for a quick bite. As we entered, we noticed a lady sitting alone in the middle, enjoying her drink. We headed towards the sushi counter at the back. It had been a while since our last visit, so we hoped for a discount coupon. Surprisingly, we were recommended the "Women's Special" deal - any 5 pieces of your favorite sushi for 2,200 yen. We were intrigued by the offer and decided to go for saltwater sea urchin, abalone, botan shrimp, hairy crab, and fresh scallop. We started off with a highball and enjoyed the delicious simmered shellfish served as an appetizer. The sushi was beautifully presented, with a touch of soy sauce brushed on top. The saltwater sea urchin and botan shrimp were particularly delightful. We couldn't resist ordering more, adding red tuna, eel with liver, surf clam, squid, octopus, flying fish roe, fatty tuna, and more. The sushi was surprisingly delicious, and we ended up eating more than we had anticipated. Despite standing while eating, we had a great time indulging in the food and drinks. It turned out that a quick bite wasn't enough for us this time. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I had a light meal of Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) but still felt a bit hungry, so I decided to stop by here. I felt a bit anxious seeing no customers inside, but I gathered my courage and entered. I ordered a draft beer and was served with a complimentary dish of whelk along with a Sapporo Classic Lager draft. I also ordered a five-piece sushi set, which included medium fatty tuna, flounder, surf clam, herring, and salmon roe. The flounder had salt on it, while the rest had soy sauce (possibly ponzu) applied, showing the careful work put into it. I also added a mackerel sushi to finish. The herring sushi had some small bones, but they were skillfully removed, which was nice. The total came to 3020 yen. I received a reservation call while eating, so it seems I was lucky to come when they had an opening.

I visited the restaurant about an hour before closing. The sushi chef was making sushi while explaining each piece. They had some limited edition items at a discounted price, but unfortunately they were sold out when we went. We tried a Uni tasting and a three-shellfish platter, which were both great value. Apart from sushi, we also had foie gras, fugu tempura, and smoked oysters. The foie gras was delicious, I even ordered seconds. The sake tasting featured all Hokkaido varieties, tailored to our preferences. Overall, we were very satisfied.

Day drinking bar hopping part 6 I visited this place for the first time, as it's run by an acquaintance. The otoro was so meltingly delicious, it was pure bliss. They kept recommending great drinks, and I had a blast here. I'll definitely come back again. Thank you for the feast! (^人^)

I used a coupon to get 3 pieces of tuna for 590 yen! I had akami, chutoro, and otoro, and also tried a seared shishamo that was accidentally caught. It cost 750 yen and had a delicious fluffy texture. The sushi was small but tasty. I could eat more, but I'm heading to the next restaurant now. Eating too much will quickly add up in cost. The name "Chokotto Sushi" may sound small, but both the taste and price are solid.

Last night's second stop was at "Tachigui Sushi Chokotto Sushi Main Store". I had been there before and remembered it being really delicious, so I decided to stop by. If you're looking for good sushi at a reasonable price in Susukino, this is definitely the place to go! We went for a quick bite around 6 pm, and chose a few items from the menu written on the blackboard. It's a standing sushi bar, so the turnover is quick and you can eat quickly.

Sapporo Susukino "Tachigui-dokoro Chokotto Sushi Susukino Honten" In the end, it rained all day in the city of Sapporo. Around 11pm, the restaurant was full, so I came back around midnight with about an hour gap. The customers had thinned out by then. I ordered the chef's choice set of 5 pieces for 1580 yen, which included flounder, surf clam, horse mackerel, medium fatty tuna, and salmon roe. Today's special, a 69 yen soy sauce, and a 69 yen salmon were also included. The soy sauce was excellent value for money. The other items were average, but each piece was carefully crafted with detailed knife work, which was impressive. However, the hospitality and customer service attitude were not very good, which was quite disappointing. Thank you for the meal.

I went to this sushi restaurant when I visited Sapporo on my graduation trip. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, so I was satisfied. Even though I'm not used to going to good sushi restaurants, I felt comfortable here, and the ingredients were fresh. The start of the New Year's sushi season is here. Let's have a drink during the day and snack early in the evening before heading home. I made a reservation because I didn't want to miss out. When I arrived at 5 pm, the place was already almost 80% full, but it's a standing sushi bar so it's okay. First, a beer please! I ordered: - Draft beer 650 yen - Today's 69 yen special: Ginpo - Tachipon - Hock - Three types of tuna: lean, medium fatty, fatty - Aburakarei engawa - Spicy Ginpo The spicy Ginpo had just the right amount of fat and was delicious. The tachipon had a strong vinegar taste. The tuna was fresh and delicious since it was served raw today. The medium fatty tuna was so elegant, and the fatty tuna was melt-in-your-mouth. The engawa was delicious, was it aburakarei or samegarei? I chose aburakarei. I forgot to take a picture of it, but the person next to me was eating hock. Hock is available? I immediately ordered it and it was so tasty. It's not often you get to eat raw hock, but the person next to me didn't know that. This is perfect with alcohol. I ordered a dry sake, the store manager's choice, which was the spicy Ginpo. It's a sake from Akita and it paired well with the sushi. It was delicious! I'll come back during a less busy time. Apparently, the store manager knows a friend of mine. I'll come back with that friend next time. Thank you for the meal!

I stopped by "Chokotto Sushi" while exploring Hokkaido for some snacks. It's a cute standing sushi bar located near Susukino subway station. They have branches in Hokkaido and Okinawa, and I've been to the one in Okinawa a few times, but this was my first time in Hokkaido. I ordered sujiko, shinko, hokke, otoro, botan ebi, and tobikko. The hokke and tobikko were fresh and delicious. They also had a daily special for 69 yen, which was blue soy today. It was my first time trying it, but it was tasty. Standing sushi bars are great for quick and delicious bites while exploring. I enjoyed my meal at Chokotto Sushi!

"I stopped by 'Tachigui-dokoro Chokotto Sushi' because I wanted to nibble on some sushi! I visited close to 9:00 PM on a weekend, and the place was almost full. It seems like a popular spot, as I had heard. Before entering, they checked our temperature and provided hand sanitizer. The counter seats were separated by acrylic boards, ensuring proper infection prevention measures! I started with a Highball drink priced at 550 yen as usual. The complimentary appetizer was umeshu jelly. Let's try ordering a few dishes while nibbling on pickled ginger: - Maguro (tuna) - Salmon - Tachigunkan (hand-rolled sushi) - Namazaba (raw mackerel) - Ika (squid) The quality is surprisingly high for a standing sushi bar! The ingredients are super fresh, and the sushi is handcrafted with an extra touch. The rice is small and easy to eat. Everything was delicious, but the Tachigunkan, in particular, is a must-try during this season! It has a milky flavor and melts in your mouth! There were still more dishes I wanted to try, but I had eaten and drank enough for the day, so I finished here. I'll make sure to come back with a bigger appetite next time. Thank you for the meal!"

Hello, this is pta1001. I went on an expedition to Susukino. I wanted to eat some tsubugai that I had forgotten to eat, so I stopped by Chokotto Sushi for a quick visit. I had tsubugai and hokkigai. I also recommend the kabosu sour. It's great that they serve standing sushi late into the night.

Today, I had dinner alone at a standing sushi restaurant located just a short walk from Susukino Station. Despite the convenient location, the restaurant offered outstanding value for money. I had previously visited their branch with seating and enjoyed it, so I wanted to try this more affordable standing option. I arrived around 6:30 pm and there were two groups of customers ahead of me, with three people in total. There were still seats available at the counter. There were two sushi chefs and one waitress behind the counter. I was asked for my drink order and I requested a Sapporo Classic beer. The complimentary umeshu arrived promptly. I asked about the recommended "just a little bit of sushi" course, which included drinks, umeshu, and 8 recommended nigiri pieces. I decided to try this course. I started with the Otoro, which was delicious. Next was the Houbou, which was firm and fresh. The Kanpachi was also fresh and had a nice fatty texture. I also enjoyed the Aka Tsubu, which had a nice crunch. I decided to add a shrimp miso soup for 320 yen to cleanse my palate. The rich shrimp miso soup was full of flavor. I switched to a cold Nara sake, recommended by the waitress, after finishing my beer. The Herb Mackerel from Nagasaki had no fishy smell and was surprisingly flavorful. The Kawahagi with liver on top was a safe choice. I ended my meal with Tachi and Uni gunkan sushi. What a lineup for only 3,300 yen including tax! I also added the Masoi for 69 yen, a white fish often used as a substitute for sea bream in Hokkaido. Eating 10 pieces for 690 yen more was tempting, but I didn't have the courage. Overall, the meal was delicious and satisfying. Thank you for the meal! The restaurant was only counter seating, and it filled up quickly during my meal. Some customers were turned away, while others were seated immediately. It all depends on timing, I suppose. One thing that caught my attention was the lack of eye contact from the sushi chefs as they explained the dishes, making it unclear who they were addressing. There was a sense of resignation in their interactions with the older waitress, which may have affected the overall hospitality and consideration for others. It seemed like they were too focused on their tasks to pay attention to their surroundings. Personally, I didn't mind, but I can see how it might bother some people. The atmosphere of the restaurant also plays a part in the dining experience, so I hope to see improvements in the future.

I pumped myself up and made a reservation on Tabelog before heading to the restaurant. I was the only customer. I overdid it with my enthusiasm! Here's what I had: Pacific herring, saury, giant clam, horse mackerel, silver treasure, octopus leg, herring roe, mountain wasabi, and thin rolls. The sake I paired them with was "Yuki no Kayoi." It was luxurious. The lineup was full of Hokkaido ingredients. I truly felt like I was in Hokkaido. The saury, silver treasure, and saury were particularly delicious. Thank you for the feast.

Visited a sushi restaurant called "Standing Sushi Chokotto Sushi" after returning to Susukino intersection. The interior had only a counter, as expected for a standing sushi restaurant. I started with a glass of Namara Super Spicy sake, which was refreshing with a sharp taste, perfect for sashimi and sushi. I ended up having three glasses before leaving. I enjoyed dishes like Kanpachi, Honmaguro, Anago, fresh Saba, and Engawa Aburi. The Engawa Aburi was particularly delicious after being seared to remove excess fat. I also tried the "Gout" sushi with mentaiko, uni, and ikura, which had a unique flavor. The highlight of the meal was the Ankimo, which was incredibly delicious. The bill ended up being higher than expected, but the experience was worth it. I look forward to visiting again in the future.

I have used this place twice, both times for pre-drinks. The sushi here is small, as the name suggests, but the fish is very fresh and delicious. A beer costs 600 yen for a small cup, which might be a bit pricey (they raised prices starting from October due to recent circumstances). The medium fatty tuna was particularly delicious, but it costs around 500 yen per piece. It's recommended for a light snack.
