There is often a tea room at Rokkatei in the outskirts. The Fukuzumi branch also has a tea room on the second floor. Despite the spacious area, there are few seats, making it very relaxing. The downside is that it is always crowded. They have exclusive tea room menus as well as items that can be taken out. The takeout prices are almost the same as the dine-in prices, so you can easily enjoy them. The coffee is free refill and reasonably priced.

I tried the Asari and Shimeji Rocolla Pizza for 1,100 yen (tax included) for the first time. The Rocolla was a bit unique in taste, but fresh and delicious. There was plenty of Rocolla, which was great. The Tabasco kick at the end was refreshing. Truly impressive, as expected from Rokkatei!

This is a review of Rokkatei's café. On birthdays, you get one free drink and one free cake. In the past, the staff used to sing "Happy Birthday" to you. The hotcakes and pizzas baked at the café are amazing. It has become a tradition for my family to go there every year on my son's birthday, which falls on New Year's Day. I highly recommend the strawberry milk.

The day after my fifth vaccine shot, I took the day off work. I ran some errands and had a late meal at Rokkatei. I tried various dishes including the pizza of the month, oyster and dried spinach pizza, beef stew, and iced coffee. It seemed like they were short-staffed at the restaurant. I don't mind the paper straws as much as others do, probably because I smoke. It's calming to have something in my mouth.

If you mention that you like Rokkatei's Marseille Butter Sand, you often receive it as a souvenir. It is a sweet made with our company's own wheat flour, with biscuits sandwiching white chocolate, raisins, and cream made from 100% Hokkaido-produced milk and butter.

I tried the cafe on the second floor of this shop for lunch. The place looked clean and spacious, with a good capacity. I ordered the Beef Stew (1,100 yen including tax), but hmm... it was quite sour with a sharp acidity, the soup was watery, and there was only a small amount of beef. I wonder if there are people who like sour and watery stew... I think having some sweets and coffee here would be better. Looking around, I noticed that there were only women, so it doesn't seem like my kind of place. Thank you for the meal.

Once upon a time, when this place first opened, I used to come here often whenever I visited my relatives nearby. It's been over 15 years, or maybe even longer since I last came. After visiting the grave, I wanted to quench my thirst at the nearby Gelato shop, but there was a long line, so I decided to come here instead. It was a holiday and around 2:30 PM, and luckily we were able to get a table for 4 without waiting too long. After us, there were about 3 more groups waiting in line. The café space is spacious, so it seems like many customers come in large groups. By this time, most of the cakes were sold out. We ordered the seasonal pizza, pudding cake, hot coffee, and caramel snow parfait x3. We had the pizza first. The crust was crispy, but the toppings were a bit lacking. It seemed popular as many people were ordering it. While we were waiting for dessert after finishing the pizza, the staff came and apologized for serving the pudding cake to a small child celebrating their birthday first by mistake. Our order was placed much earlier, but it's understandable. We added another caramel snow parfait, which was delicious! The caramel and milk were perfectly balanced. I wanted another one. In the end, we were satisfied. Perhaps there are fewer staff compared to other cafes, as everything seemed relaxed. I would like to come back when I have time and a relaxed mind.

It's Sapporo, just the two of us. We also did it in Abashiri, but in Sapporo too... it's about throwing away trash. We went three times and it's all cleaned up, good. After finishing, we went to Rokkatei in Fukuzumi. I wanted to drink something, beer would be fine, but my companion doesn't agree with that. Still planning to drive, huh? There are about 10 people inside the store, 90% are women. Well, that's how it is, there are no slackers like the old men in Teine. I ordered coffee, it's 380 yen with free refills. The coffee is decently deep and has a good taste, quite delicious. We relaxed in a restless place... huh??

I used the cafe on the 2nd floor. There is plenty of space between tables for social distancing and a sense of openness. The service is good, with both the waitress and the pastry chef coming out from the kitchen to help. The pastry chef's service was even better than the waitress's (lol). And you can get refills of Masaka coffee here. The shortcake was just average in taste. But the best part is the atmosphere of this building! It's definitely worth a visit just to see it.

There are several stores in Sapporo, but I was drawn in passing by this one. Rokkatei has a lovely exterior like all the others, but this one is special with its bright red ivy during the autumn season! I couldn't resist taking a photo before entering. The second floor is a spacious café. The black tea cake I wanted was sold out, so I opted for zenzai instead. The mochi was surprisingly delicious. I didn't have a strong impression of Japanese sweets before, but it was really good. It's quite sweet, so you feel really satisfied after finishing it. The surrounding customers were having meals or drinking coffee, mostly locals I think. It's a nice place where you can easily stop by if it's nearby.

I made the most of 2 and a half hours, visited "Rokkatei" for a quick shopping trip. I relied on the navigator in the passenger seat to drive towards Fukuzumi, and arrived here at 11:15. The sculpted wooden door slowly opened, and I climbed the stairs. The cafe space on the second floor of Rokkatei is simple and clean. The vivid green ivy leaves on the windows shine like stained glass. The simplicity and sophistication of the design, as well as the craftsmanship of the sweets, reflect the refinement and local pride of Rokkatei as a company. Hotcakes for 560 yen, blueberry parfait for 500 yen, coffee for 360 yen, and iced coffee for 430 yen are available. The perfectly baked hotcakes were recommended by the staff. I enjoyed them with butter and maple syrup, feeling happy. The blueberry parfait was full of fresh fruit, with homemade vanilla ice cream and blueberry sherbet complementing each other well. The combination of cold agar and blueberry sauce at the bottom added a unique touch. "Finally got to eat, it's delicious, right?" "Yes, simple and delicious." By the time we finished eating, it was the perfect time. After paying the bill, we left at 12:10, a perfectly timed outing. The efficient movements were truly a "strike of joy!" I am grateful for the perfect navigation from the assistant in the passenger seat. The extra 10 minutes may have been because I drove slowly at the end.

It's all about the location, in Toyohira-ku, Fukuzumi 2-jo 5-chome along the Yagaike Street. For more detailed location information, as always, please check the map on Tabelog. Today is almost a midsummer day, and with the temperature rising, I feel like having shaved ice rather than soft serve ice cream. So, I visited this shop today. I parked my car in the front parking lot and headed towards the shop. After checking the menu at the entrance, I went inside and up to the second floor. I sat at a vacant table for two and ordered the "Rokkabi Strawberry" as planned. It took about 10 minutes because it was a bit busy, but it finally arrived. The strawberry syrup was quite generous. First, I tried the strawberry syrup, which was rich but not overly sweet, with a hint of strawberry acidity. Then I mixed the strawberry syrup with the milk ice, creating a perfect strawberry milk flavor. However, the shaved milk ice this time was a bit coarse, lacking the smooth mouthfeel. Next time, I would like to try the "Tanshichu" that caught my eye on the menu. I definitely want to visit this shop again.

Fukuzumi area, along the Sheep Hill Street, there is Rokkatei. I bought some sweets for home as I was shopping nearby. The first floor is the sales space, and the second floor seems to be a cafe, but on this day, due to the influence of the new coronavirus, the cafe was not available. I think all of Rokkatei's sweets are cheap and delicious, but my favorites are "Ohirahara" and "Marseille Butter Cake". Both come in a pack of 4 for 500 yen, so I think it's very reasonable. This time, they were selling "Potato Chips (150 yen)", so I bought it to try, but it was just a normal potato chip. There is a wide variety of sweets and few disappointments, so I think they would be appreciated as souvenirs as well.

I thought it was wonderful so I saved it. It was our first visit together. - Tomohiro-style Hayashi Rice 774 yen - Premium 25 (chocolate) 428 yen - Hot Cafe au Lait 306 yen Located a little off the main road, like a mansion or castle, Rokkatei 1F is a confectionery store, and if you go up the stairs, 2F is a cafe. There aren't many food menu options. My companion had the beef stew, so I chose the Hayashi Rice. There is no disappointment with beef stew or Hayashi Rice. Coffee is self-serve and refillable, and it's nice that cafe au lait is included in the drink set at a low price. I was planning on getting the chocolate parfait, but they only had strawberry parfait. I was torn between the snow corn cheese, but chocolate won. The seats are spacious, and the BGM is classical music. I came and it was indeed wonderful. There is a song as a gift for birthdays. I want to come back during the green season when the flowers bloom. Thank you for the meal.

Near Fukuzumi Station on the subway, I happened to come across a charming two-story Western-style building covered in ivy. It turned out to be Rokkatei, a well-known confectionery originating from Obihiro and now famous nationwide. There was a café on the second floor, so I decided to go inside. The spacious first floor displayed a variety of Japanese and Western sweets and chocolates neatly arranged. Going up to the second floor, I found a large café space with a predominantly white color scheme. About 30% full. However, the cozy window seats covered in ivy were already taken, so I sat at a table on the opposite side. The atmosphere was still pleasant. Looking at the menu, I was intrigued by the three types of summer limited edition shaved ice called "Rokka Ice," but it was a bit chilly due to light rain that day. I ended up ordering:
- Yuki Kon Cheese (Snowy Cheese) for 220 yen: This item is also available in the refrigerated section on the first floor at the same price. It consists of a black cocoa biscuit sandwiching a thick baked cheesecake. The cocoa-flavored biscuit and chilled rich cheesecake created a perfect harmony. Rokkatei has a series of sweets called "Yukiya Konko," inspired by "snow falling from the winter night sky." This biscuit uses the same one as in this item, and it is recommended to consume within 2 hours to maintain the crispy texture. It is a rare treat that is best enjoyed in the café and not suitable for taking home as a souvenir.
- Coffee with free refills and a cookie for 350 yen: Despite the affordable price, the coffee comes with free refills, making it a great deal. Milk is also provided, and a cookie is included. Other sweets are also reasonably priced. The well-maintained and cozy café, or rather "tearoom," with such a selection and price range, was too comfortable. The staff in charge of the hall was also very friendly. It seemed that they were more focused on providing hospitality to their regular customers rather than strictly considering profitability, reflecting the longstanding customer service tradition of Rokkatei. I would love to revisit if given the chance and explore the other tearooms in the remaining 6 locations in Sapporo. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

I visited Rokkatei to buy souvenirs for my relatives in Honshu. Everyone loves Rokkatei's sweets. The customer service is always polite and kind whenever I go there. I appreciate that they also sell small portions. Even if you only buy one item, they treat you well, which is why I love this store. After choosing souvenirs, I bought "botamochi" for myself. It has a perfect balance of mildly sweet red bean paste and mixed grains in the mochi rice. It's delicious! I didn't know there was a restaurant on the second floor until this visit. I definitely want to try it next time. Thank you, Fukuzumi store!

Visited during the New Year in 2019. Rokkatei is known for its sweets, but this place also has a cafe where you can enjoy cakes and meals that are not sold in the store. I have never tried the meals, but I have used the cafe several times. It is quiet and spacious, so you can relax. The sweets like Yukiyakon, Konkon, and cocoa are delicious, but the Snow Kon Cheesecake is also tasty. The apple pie had a unique taste with a hint of acidity, and it was delicious.

I use it several times a year, but this was my first time buying a lucky bag in 2019. I purchased it with my parents for 2000 yen. To cut to the chase, I was extremely satisfied!! The cost performance was amazing and I was impressed. The cup, which can only be obtained through points, has a cute pumpkin illustration on it. It also comes with a hotcake trial ticket and a snack shop trial ticket. It even includes dressing. I think it's a really great deal! Since there is an expiration date, I will be careful and go visit with my parents! I plan to try to lose the weight I gained over the New Year's holiday before trying it out. But there were so many snacks included, so it might be difficult haha. Thank you for the meal! I'm looking forward to it again next year.

This is Fukuzumi!! I bought a souvenir to greet the business partners who have taken care of me as I am transferring to a new position. I was unsure where to go, but I decided on the reliable "Rokkatei" where I can pay with a card. I chose the Rokka-sen (18 pieces) for 2380 yen. There are several varieties of the Rokka-sen series depending on the quantity, but the 18-piece set seemed just right. I bought them here and immediately went to greet the recipients. It may be a common choice, but I believe no one would feel bad receiving these sweets. I actually wanted to eat them myself, but with gratitude and appreciation, I decided to give them to the people who have helped me. "Rokkatei" is the go-to place when in trouble!! It may be a cliché choice, but it is definitely a safe bet (laughs). By the way, there have been about 5-6 official farewell parties, and I am running out of things to talk about for greetings (laughs) (^_^;)

"On the first day of the month, I had 'tsuitachi okowa' with clam and ginger. While picking it up, I also tried this month's pizza, the asparagus bacon pizza. I went to Rokkatei café."
