Strawberry and salted caramel chocolate crepe for 860 yen. Fully ripe banana and chocolate crepe for 680 yen. Arrived at 2:30 PM. There were 11 customers ahead of us. It takes about 20 minutes to cook each crepe individually, so we received a number tag and waited on the chairs inside. After waiting for 20 minutes, our number was called and we eagerly went to pick up our crepes. I have tried various crepes before as I like sweet treats, but the crepes here were unlike any I've had before. The outside was crispy and the inside was fluffy. The crispy part was incredibly delicious. It was the most delicious thing I've had in Hakodate, so I highly recommend trying it if you're visiting. Please note that they only accept cash for payment.

I went for the first time because I wanted to try the limited-time caramel coffee banana crepe. I went around 2 pm on a Sunday. The shop has a retro atmosphere and is lovely. I thought it would be crowded because it's a popular place, and indeed it was. They said, "It will be ready in about 20 minutes." I went back to my car once and returned to the store after about 18 minutes. However, even after 20, 25 minutes passed, no one said anything, and I didn't hear my number being called. After 30 minutes, I timidly asked, "Are you supposed to call the numbers?" and got a somewhat curt "Yes" in response. Well, they must be busy, so it's understandable, haha. After a few more minutes, I was finally called. By the way, a customer who ordered when I did was told, "There's a 15-person wait." It's truly a very popular shop. The crepe here is crispy, and the texture changes after 5 minutes. I took the first bite. Wait!! I exclaimed because it was so delicious. I've never had a crepe this delicious before. I kept eating, and I finished it before the texture changed, haha. The bitterness of the coffee and the sweetness of the caramel matched perfectly, and it was absolutely delicious! I want to go back another time to try the limited-time item. If only there was a shop like this nearby. Don't underestimate Hakodate's crepes!! Thank you for the meal!

Ripe banana and caramel crepe for 680 yen. The crepe is crispy. It has a moderate sweetness of whipped cream and a slightly bitter caramel sauce. The crispy texture of the crepe is unique and different from the usual soft ones. It's the opposite of the chewy dough from Angelic Voyage. This could spark a debate on the crepe scene in Hakodate. Personally, I'm more of a street corner crepe fan lol.

Located near Hakodate Jujigai Station, Crepe Corner is a newly opened crepe shop. It's great that you can also eat inside the store. I was having trouble deciding which one to choose, so I asked the staff for help, but they were incredibly unhelpful, haha. I ended up ordering the salted caramel chocolate butter crepe. Looking back, I don't know why I chose that one, it wasn't very appealing, haha. Other menu items seemed more attractive. Yeah, it's too sweet, haha. Watching them cook it, I can see why. They put way too much caramel and chocolate in it, haha. As a former crepe shop employee, I know that you can't just put a ton of everything in it, haha.

At the street corner crepe, it's dessert time. As part of architect Tomogashi's project to renovate old folk houses in the western district, the old Tanaka store building has been renovated into a complex facility. Within it is a shared kitchen called Street Corner Crepe. Together with Kamou from Kamou Trading, they are revolutionizing the greatness of the western district with a spirit of learning from the past and innovating for the future. I ordered the salted caramel chocolate crepe. Since I had lunch earlier, I opted out of whipped cream. The initial crispiness is delightful. It seems that enjoying the crispiness within 5 minutes is a key point. The limited parking is a downside, but you can also enjoy exploring other pop-up shops in the building through this crepe shop. Thank you for the meal.

I had never been to the crepe shop on the second floor of the cultural center at the intersection before, although I had visited the curry shop that subleases there. I tried the Fermented Butter and Cassonade crepe. Cassonade seems to be a type of sugar made from sugarcane, and the crepe was very simple but delicious with a crispy crust. It gets crowded on weekends, so there may be a wait of about 30 minutes.

I wanted to eat dessert in Hakodate and found a place called Machikado Crepe. The parking lot is a bit tight for a Land Cruiser (during busy times). I ordered a sweet crepe and a savory one, both were delicious! They asked if I wanted to take it to go or eat it right away, which affected how they cooked the crepe. You can take photos inside the store without worrying about staff or other customers getting in the way. I went on a Saturday afternoon and there was a line of about 5 people constantly.

I came to a crepe shop that I often see on Instagram. The interior is cute, and I was surrounded by the sweet smell of crepes. I wanted to relax in a warm atmosphere, so I also ordered a drink. The crepe had a crispy outer layer and the sweetness of the fillings was just right for my taste.

First visit after the relocation! The new location used to be the site of the former King of Kings. The interior is now more spacious, allowing you to wait comfortably from ordering to completion. After a mountain climb, I chose the "Fully Ripe Banana and Caramel" crepe with whipped cream. Despite its voluminous appearance, the crepe had a crispy and fragrant texture, and the whipped cream was light and made with fresh cream, making it delicious until the last bite. This is the most delicious crepe I have ever had. I waited for about 25 minutes as it was crowded. It is recommended to visit early as it tends to sell out due to its popularity. Check out the post about the new location here ☟ "Machikado Crepe" after relocation! The popular Fully Ripe Banana Caramel crepe is delicious!!

The atmosphere of the shop is unexpectedly elegant with high ceilings once you step inside. You can smell the delicious scent of crepes being made at the counter. When dining in, it is recommended to order one item per person. There are also benches outside if you prefer to eat there.

This was the best crepe I have ever eaten. The cream was rich, the crepe itself was thin and crispy. The homemade caramel sauce had a slight bitterness and a very nice flavor. The interior was stylish and I had a great time there.

The crepe shop, which recently relocated nearby, now has a parking lot making it more convenient to visit. The crepes here are delicious. I like the fresh cream, as well as the simple combination of fermented butter and cane sugar. I haven't tried any of the others.
