Visited 'Pokke' at 7:00 PM on April 5, 2023. This restaurant offers shabu-shabu with lamb and deer meat. I had made a reservation on Tabelog the day before after seeing it featured on the Kenmin SHOW and it was conveniently located right behind the hotel. Feeling quite energetic, I decided to bring along my friend Matsuba for the evening. They offer both Genghis Khan and shabu-shabu, with the shabu-shabu section located on the third floor of the building. The regular all-you-can-eat course with Australian lamb meat is priced at ¥4,500 for 90 minutes, but by paying in cash and using a Tabelog coupon, I opted for the special all-you-can-eat course with lamb and deer meat for 120 minutes at ¥5,000. I chose Sapporo Classic draft beer as my drink. While I have had lamb Genghis Khan before, this was my first experience with lamb shabu-shabu. I was looking forward to trying the Ezo deer meat from Shiretoko. Many celebrities have visited this place. The meal started with a vegetable set, 300g of lamb meat, and 150g of deer meat. The hot pot came with two types of shabu-shabu broth: kombu dashi and black sesame salt. The kombu dashi was delicious when dipped in the sauce and condiments after shabu-shabu. The black sesame salt was quite salty, but it paired well with the vegetables. I personally preferred the kombu dashi broth. Since it was all-you-can-eat, I enjoyed the meal in moderation, with two rounds of refills of 150g of lamb meat and 150g of deer meat each. Surprisingly, I couldn't eat much and ended up consuming just over 1kg. It was a healthy and delicious meal, and I believe the course was quite a good deal. I'm happy to have discovered this new dining option. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Black sesame salt soup and kombu soup two-color hot pot with lamb shabu-shabu. Vegetables, lamb meat, rice, Chinese noodles, pickles, and sherbet are all-you-can-eat. The black sesame salt soup is quite flavorful on its own, so you don't need shabu-shabu sauce. The pickles lacked richness, but overall, it was healthy and you could eat as much as you want. I even smoothly finished with ramen! Yummy٩( ᐛ )و

I had shabu-shabu. I wanted to try lamb shabu, thank you. I enjoyed plenty of lamb and venison. It was amazing. Lamb and venison are both high in protein and low in calories, making them very healthy foods. Thank you for the meal.

Visited for dinner during a trip. Reservations are required on weekends. You can make reservations online. There is a Genghis Khan restaurant on the same floor of the building, but this is a lamb shabu-shabu restaurant. You can enjoy two types of soup, one made with kombu from Rishiri and the other with a salty flavor. First, the lamb meat. The lamb meat, sliced upon ordering, is so delicious that it turns pink when cooked just right. It is very tasty. You can also enjoy Ezo deer shabu-shabu. It has less gamey flavor than beef, making it easy to eat and delicious. The vegetable portion is generous and has a delicious flavor. For the finishing touch, there is ramen. It is very delicious when enjoyed in a soup filled with the umami of lamb and vegetables. I also enjoyed a classic sake.

During a night out with friends from the mainland, we decided to go for some Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) but realized we've been eating too much lately, so we opted for lamb shabu-shabu instead. We went to a Hokkaido shabu-shabu restaurant called Pokke, using a coupon for a 120-minute all-you-can-eat and drink challenge. The soup options were salt-based and kombu dashi, which was a nice touch. The lamb was thinly sliced right at our table, and it was so good that we couldn't stop eating. The slices were not too fatty, which was perfect. The kombu dashi with ponzu sauce was a great combination, although mixing in the soup was also a good idea. The salt-based soup had a slight peppery taste, which I preferred. Before getting too full, we also ordered some seared lamb sushi, which was prepared right in front of us by the staff. The searing process toned down the lamb flavor, but it was still delicious. The mainland friends were also very impressed with the meal. ⭐︎⭐︎⭐︎

I love shabu-shabu, especially lamb and beef are both delicious and it's hard to choose between them...sometimes I also enjoy pork...especially high-quality pork belly is really tasty...oh, this time it's lamb shabu. As I've gotten older, all-you-can-eat yakiniku is too heavy for me...but with shabu-shabu, I can eat a lot. "What do you want to eat?" "I want shabu-shabu!" "Okay then." That's how we decided on this restaurant. Originally, I made a reservation at the 3rd Green Ville store online, but due to the timing of our visit, they kindly called me and changed the reservation to this store. The woman who helped us was very kind. Thank you. The owner should give her a raise...■90-minute all-you-can-eat and drink for 4,000 yen ⇒ with a coupon from Tabelog, 3,480 yen. They offer two types of broth: kombu and black sesame. The black sesame is good as it is, not too sweet, with a mild sesame flavor...nice. But personally, I prefer the classic kombu broth. It's just right to have the black sesame broth every 4 servings of shabu. However, the regular dipping sauce is kombu soy sauce-based. You adjust the acidity with the vinegar on the table...I wish they had ponzu instead. Also, my companion said she wanted something spicy. When we asked, they provided dried red chili peppers. It was delicious. Not bad. I ate quite a bit. However...the quality of the alcohol was okay (a bit weak), the lamb was okay too. And the service was polite but lacked a bit of energy, making it a bit difficult to ask for refills...I wanted more liveliness in both the food and service. This restaurant has radio commercials and high ratings on Tabelog, so my expectations were high, which may have left me feeling a bit unsatisfied.

Sapporo Susukino restaurant. All-you-can-eat including Shiretoko Ezo deer! 2-color hot pot shabu-shabu for 120 minutes with draft beer included. 4,700 yen. Delicious! Follow me on Instagram: hide06_21. Starting March 2021, I will be writing food reviews on Tabelog. My nickname is Hanchou. I like going to many restaurants.

Located about a 2-minute walk from Susukino Station, this restaurant is situated on the 3rd floor of the Miyako Building. The interior is bright with orange decor. Start off with a beer and cheers. They offer three types of meat: lamb, Ezo deer, and Shiraoi beef. We ordered a platter of the three meats along with chicken skin with ponzu sauce. The chicken skin was incredibly delicious, with a refreshing taste and a hint of yuzu fragrance, making it easy to eat and perfect with drinks. For shabu-shabu, they have two types of soup: salt and kelp dashi. They recommend different ways to eat the meat depending on the type. Everything was delicious, but the Shiraoi beef was exceptionally tasty, with a great balance of meat flavor and fat. The restaurant seems quite popular, so it might be a good idea to make a reservation in advance.

Long time no see, Pokke-san. The popular lamb shabu-shabu restaurant, which has expanded beyond Sapporo to Tokyo, was a surprise when I visited the Susukino store after a long time. The store was in the same building but had changed locations and the atmosphere of the store had completely changed. Still, the all-you-can-eat and drink for 4,000 yen per person including tax is a reasonable price. I remember that the ventilation in the store was not great before, and even though it was renovated, the humidity inside the store was high (laughs). The indoor temperature was high, and with the heat from the stove and steam from the pot in front of me, my appetite did not increase, and I ended up feeling exhausted and had to leave early without reaching the end of the meal. It's recommended to visit in the middle of winter here. It was just too hot. Thank you for the meal.

This place has a very ordinary atmosphere, but the lamb shabu-shabu is delicious! The Ezo deer is light and you can eat it endlessly, but it may not be for everyone as it has a bit of a unique taste. If you just want the lamb shabu-shabu, the all-you-can-eat and drink option is very affordable. Locals would definitely become regulars here. The menu is limited, but it's a place to simply savor the lamb shabu-shabu.

Lamb Shabu-Pokke @ Sapporo Susukino
Lamb shabu-shabu all-you-can-eat for 4000 yen, a real bargain, and it was really delicious here! No unpleasant smell. No bloating. In addition to lamb meat, you can also eat all the vegetables you want, and the finishing ramen with Hokkaido-style yellow noodles was delicious! By the way, the Lamb Shabu-Kin no Me in Shinbashi was also delicious. #LambShabu #Pokke #Susukino #HokkaidoGourmet #SapporoGourmet #Tabesutaguramu #Foodie #MeatStagram #WantToConnectWithPeopleWhoLoveToEat #LoveEating #Tabelog #Nanamin'sTabelog

After enjoying a live performance on the first night in Sapporo, I had a year-end party with friends. When asked whether I preferred Genghis Khan or shabu-shabu beforehand, I immediately chose shabu-shabu. Since I had already tried Genghis Khan before, it was my first time trying shabu-shabu. The restaurant was located in a mixed-use building behind Tokyu Inn at the Susukino intersection. We had a shabu-shabu course with all-you-can-eat and drink options, featuring lamb and Ezo deer meat. The vegetables and meat were plentiful. The lamb meat was a beautiful pink color and perfect for Instagram photos. The Ezo deer meat had a reddish hue and was cut into large pieces. We had two types of broth for the shabu-shabu, sesame salt and regular kombu broth. The sesame salt broth could be enjoyed as is, but it was a bit salty (laughs). Diluting it made it delicious. The kombu broth was paired with a sweet sauce. It was a new taste experience for me, as shabu-shabu in Kansai typically uses ponzu and sesame sauce. The meat was tender and fluffy. The lamb had a slight unique taste, but I didn't mind it. It was not too fatty and refreshing. The Ezo deer also had a unique taste, but no odor and the thin slices made it easy to eat. I bet it would be delicious with grated daikon and ponzu sauce. It goes well with beer and white wine. We finished with ramen, slurping it up joyfully. It was a rare and delicious meal that is not often found in Kansai households or restaurants. I would love to eat it again. Thank you for the meal.

I love lamb shabu-shabu, so I looked it up and found out that it was introduced on the Kenmin Show, so I was curious and decided to go try it! It was an all-you-can-eat course for 4000 yen per person, with lamb shabu-shabu included, and I also ordered deer shabu-shabu separately! There were two types of soup in the pot, one was a regular water-based soup and the other was a black salt-based one, I think? The water-based soup was meant to be eaten with ponzu sauce (which seems to be the same everywhere), but the ponzu sauce was too strong and I couldn't eat it with it... The black salt-based soup was to be eaten as is, without any dipping sauce, and it was really delicious! I was a bit worried about the deer having a strong flavor, but it was actually quite tasty and I couldn't really tell the difference in taste between the lamb and the deer. Both were delicious! It's just a shame about the ponzu sauce.

We visited this restaurant with 4 coworkers because it had good reviews on Tabelog. The hot pot had two types of soup: kombu dashi and black sesame salt. The black sesame salt soup was especially delicious. The lamb is all-you-can-eat and they slice it thinly from frozen blocks, which was a first for my friend from Hokkaido. However, when it's busy, it can take a while for the meat to be replenished. The all-you-can-eat course also includes vegetables, noodles for the end, and sherbet. The smell doesn't stick to your clothes like with Genghis Khan, so I want to come back again soon. We actually revisited a week later when a colleague from Tokyo came for a business trip. It's getting colder so I want to come back again soon.

The interior of the restaurant is like a snack bar, which can be intimidating to enter if you're not familiar with it. The place is small with a counter and a few tables, giving off a real snack bar vibe. I tried the all-you-can-eat and drink course which included drinks, rice (which I couldn't finish), and a closing meal of ramen, meat, vegetables, and alcohol, all for 4,000 yen which was quite a deal. The shabu-shabu was served with two types of soup, one with a special sauce and the other with sesame, salt, and pepper. I preferred the sesame salt and pepper soup. The closing ramen was delicious as well, with a soup made from kelp and a topping of sauce and a mix of sesame, salt, and pepper.

I made a reservation but my friend hadn't arrived yet when the explanation started 3 minutes early, and a minute before they lit the fire... I kept saying sorry, my friend will be here soon, but they didn't seem to care. When my friend finally arrived, there was no explanation given, just like they did to me earlier. Then they were talking about today's staff meal right in front of us, which was disappointing. Anyway, I'll try to enjoy the meal. The meat was delicious and the vegetables were fresh. The bean sprouts were surprisingly thick. The soup was half salty with a salty sauce, and the sauce was sweet. The waiter who disappeared suddenly wasn't around, but the other one was polite. What a shame.

I enjoyed riding the Moeris car at Mount Moiwa and seeing the night view (*^-^*). I still haven't had dinner. I want something warm to eat. At home, I had some lamb shabu-shabu, which I tried for the first time. The soup in the pot was in two colors, black and white. I liked the black one. The black sesame with black pepper was spicy, and the white was original with vegetables and meat for shabu-shabu. We had three refills for two people. I was already full before ordering ramen (laughs). All-you-can-eat is wonderful (>_<). I can't do this at home. My stomach is satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

I chose this restaurant from among the many lamb shabu-shabu places, but I should have chosen a different one. The restaurant is located on the 5th floor of a building and has a snack bar-like atmosphere. The staff were not friendly. I ordered three draft beers, but the foam was bad and my beer had something black in it. The taste was average, but they just served what was ordered without any extra effort. The food came out quickly after eating. Thank you for the meal.

This is an off-site event organized by me. Some of you may be curious about the 40s and 50s age group, but I took over as the leader a few years ago, so it's time for me to retire but there is no one to take over... Recently, we have had some energetic members joining, and they urged me to hold an event. They are big on eating and drinking, so choosing a restaurant was quite a task. I have been to Genghis Khan a few times, but this was my first time here. I had a good impression of Genghis Khan, so I had no doubts about coming here. This time, we chose the 90-minute all-you-can-eat and drink course for 4,000 yen. Oh, they have two types of soup. The original salt soup and the sesame soup with plenty of sesame, which is the trendy broth shabu-shabu style. This is more efficient, isn't it? Both soups are delicious, and the meat doesn't have any unpleasant smell or cheap taste. Popke is a reliable place after all. Thank you for the meal, the next event is planned in the direction of Shin-Sapporo.

In conclusion, it was incredibly delicious!!! The signature dish "Black Soup" was so tasty! The original salt sauce and generous amount of black sesame soup make for the ultimate flavor combination!! You can enjoy two different flavors by switching between the regular kombu broth and the black soup, so you won't get tired of it and could eat it forever...!! Seriously, you have to go just to taste this soup...! The black soup has enough saltiness just by dipping, so you can eat it as is. The meat is sliced right in front of you after ordering, so you get the freshest cuts. The meat from this Genghis Khan restaurant is top-notch, delicious. It's lean with a refreshing taste. The large plate is beautifully filled with enough for 3-4 people, but it disappears in no time...! The vegetables include Chinese cabbage, green onions, spinach, shiitake mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, bean sprouts, konjac, and tofu. You can also order additional items like just bean sprouts. Seriously, it's so delicious that you might think you can eat unlimited amounts...! This was my first time trying lamb shabu-shabu, and wow, it was delicious, a hit! For the finish, there's ramen. It makes the broth thick and heavy if you put it in too soon, so the ramen is meant to be the last thing you eat. Indeed, when you add it, the broth suddenly becomes thick and heavy...! The dessert (yuzu sherbet) was included, making it a super satisfying lamb shabu-shabu night...! Thank you for the meal!! I want to come back again...!!
