For lunch, I went to Sapporo Zangi Honpo Sapporo Station North Exit store~ Since it said they were open until 11 pm for prevention of spread, I decided to go there early~ As expected, it quickly became full after 8 pm~ I was told it was a 2-hour limit and was seated on the 2nd floor~ I didn't manage to take pictures of all the orders (only got the appetizers) but I ordered yakitori and zangi~ For drinks, I got a bottle of red wine~ I ended up finishing the whole bottle by myself~ Others had beer~ The taste was decent, I guess~

For dinner, I felt like having some skewered food, so I decided to eat at this restaurant nearby. I didn't drink alcohol, but I ordered mainly appetizers. - Addictive Cabbage (318 yen): It had a classic taste with a good amount of salted kelp. It was delicious, although a bit salty. It seemed like it would go well with alcohol. - Skewered Food: - Chicken Breast (138 yen) - Bibai Yakitori (198 yen) - Chicken Breast with Wasabi (138 yen) - Mixed Zangi (550 yen): The Zangi used chicken breast meat, which was surprisingly tender and juicy when fried. It was seasoned with salt made from Rausu deep-sea water, which might have helped retain moisture during cooking. The chicken breast skewer was large, tender, and had minimal dryness. It seemed like they grilled it carefully. I also ordered Catalana, Caesar Salad, and Pudding. Overall, I was satisfied, but the pudding was a bit too soft, almost like liquid. The chicken dishes were undeniably delicious.

The main store is located in Higashi-ku, Sapporo, and has expanded to franchise locations nationwide. Despite the prime location, the spacious two-story interior is always bustling. However, due to the current situation, the business is not as relaxed as it seems. The seating is generously spaced, making it great for group gatherings. Perfect for a second round. Let's keep drinking! - 90-minute all-you-can-drink for ¥1290 - Assorted five pieces of "chicken karaage" and "salted zangi" for ¥490 - Overflowing potato fries for ¥390 Even though you're full, you'll want to eat them... The karaage is crispy and crunchy on the outside, while juicy and flavorful on the inside. Once you start eating, you won't be able to stop. The shoestring potato fries are a delight. A never-ending loop of beer and highballs... I'll walk back home feeling the night breeze. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

A yakitori restaurant located at the corner of the third traffic light from Sapporo Station North Exit. They do not offer lunch during the day. I have never been to the evening session either. As usual, I was planning to buy a bento box at a convenience store or a bento shop, but I found a place called Koko-chan selling bento boxes in front of their entrance. The male staff from Koko-chan called out to me. The fried chicken bento and yakitori bento are 650 yen each. I decided to buy the fried chicken bento. "Good luck!" "Yes! I won't lose to the coronavirus!" The staff's smile was dazzling. I brought the bento back to my office. The fried chicken bento... Even though I'm from Hokkaido, I still can't tell the difference between zangi and fried chicken. It looked like delicious zangi, but this was a fried chicken bento. There were four pieces of fried chicken. The chewy texture was pleasant. The meat was not rubbery. Oh? The container had yakitori sauce in it. The meat of the fried chicken was already seasoned, but I decided to pour the sauce on it. Whether this sauce was for fried chicken or zangi, I didn't know. It didn't matter (laughs). Delicious fried chicken, or rather, zangi. The rolled omelette was a good side dish. Oh no, I ran out of rice. This experience made me realize how good this restaurant is. I visited this restaurant near the hotel I stayed at in Sapporo because it was open late and brought back memories! It was around 10pm on a Saturday night so, of course, it was not crowded. I was feeling nostalgic as I looked through the menu. I wanted to order the tsukune skewers, but unfortunately they were sold out. Too bad. There were other Hokkaido-style dishes on the menu, such as Ezo deer meatball skewers. One of my companions, who was visiting for the first time, really enjoyed the seasoned egg appetizer. The chicken noodles we had at the end were quite sweet. I didn't notice that when I was in Hokkaido. Overall, the food was delicious and reasonably priced compared to Honshu! Thank you for the meal! I will definitely visit again if I have the chance!

It seems there are several branches in Sapporo. I visited late at night, and the young staff members were running the place. The service was quite good. The restaurant has two floors, and since the first floor was full, we were guided to the second floor. As the name and logo suggest, it is a chicken izakaya, leaning towards yakitori. They also had my favorite Muroran yakitori. I like the onion skewered between the meat. In Muroran, it's common to have pork, onion, and bell pepper on the skewer. The Tsukimi tsukune for 380 yen comes with two skewers and is served with a special egg called Shitagawa 60 enzyme egg. It was quite delicious. The Teppan Chomolungma stir-fried bean sprouts with black pepper for 480 yen was average. I ordered it out of curiosity about the mountain-sized portion implied by the menu name. The mixed plate of "chicken karaage" and "salt zangi" with 10 pieces for 880 yen was tasty. The karaage, in particular, was delicious, and I liked the salt zangi. When we visited, there were elderly salarymen, young women, couples, and a mix of customers. It's a typical restaurant, but they know what they're doing. Thank you for the meal.

It was quite dry. Is the cost performance good? It's just okay, not bad. It could be used for parties.

My family came to the Kuwanazon AEON. We went shopping at the Hassamu AEON, but couldn't find what we wanted, so we ended up coming to the Kuwanazon AEON instead. It's already evening, so we decided to eat something before heading home and stopped by the nearby Itadaki Cocco-chan. We had a few options in mind, but ended up choosing Cocco-chan... Well, the Kuwanazon branch doesn't have any reviews, so it's fine. Since dad and everyone decided not to drink alcohol this time, we had yakitori with oolong tea. We ordered our usual: potato salad, skewers, salad, french fries, zangi, and fried rice. No dessert this time... The potato salad was quite good. It's Instagrammable, isn't it? The yakitori and other skewers had the typical taste of a chain restaurant. It's better than the chain restaurants on Sapporo Ekimae-dori, I guess. As always, we enjoyed our meal as a family in a simple and light-hearted way. Thank you for the meal.

There are several izakaya restaurants that specialize in chicken dishes. I thought I could get in without a reservation since it was Sunday, but just to be safe, I made a reservation in the evening on the same day. When I arrived at 6:30 PM, there was a line waiting! It was a good decision to make a reservation. We were seated at a table for two by the window on the second floor, and we started with all-you-can-drink. However, we waited and waited for our first drink to arrive... and even snacks didn't come out. Alcohol on an empty stomach is not ideal, so we waited and finally, some french fries came out. Oh, and we ordered what seemed to be pickled cucumbers, but these cucumbers were a miracle that arrived last haha. It seems like this restaurant doesn't have much of a priority system. It was early in the evening for drinking, but seasonal items were sold out and drinks were slow to be served, causing some stress. As a chicken dish lover, LP was very disappointed with dinner. Will I visit again? Sorry, no.

Sapporo station nearby, the restaurant is small inside. There is a second floor, maybe for parties? The motsu bacon is usually served in a melt-in-your-mouth style at most izakayas, but here it's not overly soft and doesn't drip, making it easy to eat! The chicken thigh with sauce is tasty, but I prefer the salt seasoning. The Hakodate Karl Leimon sausage is juicy, but I wish it was a bit crispier. The fried chicken here is delicious! It's large, juicy, and satisfying to eat. The teppanyaki bean sprouts are just the right tenderness and tasty! The seasoning is similar to Genghis Khan style, with a generous portion that's very filling. The teppanyaki dumplings are bite-sized and packed with filling! It would be nice to have a slightly smaller plate for the dumplings. Guarana is not often seen, but I prefer it to cola! It's nice to be served in a bottle. Vanilla ice cream with matcha warabi mochi (with black syrup) has a mild flavor that refreshes the palate. The matcha warabi mochi has just the right amount of matcha flavor, and it tastes even better with the black syrup on top! Overall, the dishes are simple in flavor but delicious. The drinks could be a bit colder, but they do get colder with ice over time, so it's not a big issue. They also offer all-you-can-drink, which is great for a fun night out with friends. The staff are efficient and relatively friendly, leaving a good impression.

I used this place for a company drinking party. The main dish is chicken skewers and with all-you-can-drink option, it's around 3000 yen which is reasonable. The food was decently tasty. It was quite crowded, probably because it was the weekend. Personally, I really enjoyed the curry-flavored fried chicken wings and the pork skewers with sauce were delicious!

"When you come to KFC, what else would you eat if not the Karaage Special Mix!?" I was at Sapporo Station, wondering where to go, and then I remembered there was a place next to Kanro that had grilled skewers. But, oh no, it's closed? Oh well, I thought to myself, and then it hit me - Karaage! Without a second thought, I arrived at Coco, the first time at the North Exit store. Despite being alone, they seated me at a table... no counter seats? As long as I can have Karaage, I don't need anything else. I found an interesting item to try first - Plum Wine to start off with, and the appetizer was grated long yam with plum, not miso as I thought. Sour! I ordered the Karaage Special Mix, and was told, "There are 15 pieces, is that okay?!" I had it before at the Susukino store and it was delicious, so I went ahead with the order. The Karaage Special Mix arrived quickly, looking fantastic. The special Karaage sauce that came with it was also delicious, poured generously over the Karaage. The crispy, juicy Karaage was already great on its own, but this sauce really adds to the flavor. I had no problem finishing the 15 pieces. Next, I tried the Mochi Mochi Cheese Pon de Takoyaki - a cute and interesting item. It had a donut-like texture with cheese, bonito flakes, sauce, and mayo inside. It tasted like Takoyaki, but with a slightly sweet taste and a donut-like feel. I couldn't resist adding some of the Karaage sauce, which made it even more delicious. I enjoyed my time listening to 80s J-POP songs (MAX, Robinson, Dragon Ash, Seiko Matsuda, etc.) and before I knew it, I had finished the Karaage as well. The atmosphere was lively with group gatherings and welcome parties, but I was able to enjoy my time alone in the semi-private space (with curtains). It was a satisfying experience, especially with a plum wine in hand, feeling a bit tipsy and content. Oh, I ended up writing a review like Keipapa-san ← I was writing this while drinking. The man sitting next to me was drinking 6-7 beers per hour and eating a lot, he must have a strong stomach!"
