I checked out of the usual business hotel in the city and decided to have lunch before taking the bus back home. I ordered the Milan-style doria lunch with soft-boiled egg (500 yen) which came with salad and soup. I also got the lunch drink bar for 100 yen. The Milan-style doria was delicious, and I enjoyed it. The previous Milan-style doria used to come with colorful chopped vegetables on top, which I also liked. It's really great that you can have salad and soup included for 500 yen for eat-in. The soup may seem a bit bland without any ingredients, but adding olive oil and pepper enhances the flavor. I prefer to put a lot of dressing on my salad, so I found soy sauce in the condiment area this time and tried adding it to the salad. For the drink bar, I mixed the usual orange juice with fruit & vegetable juice, and had hot orange tea after the meal. It seems I ended up having a lot of orange drinks. Since this place is right next to the bus terminal, I can relax until just before the bus arrives, making it a favorite spot for me. I will definitely use it again soon. This restaurant is located near Aso Station on the subway, in front of Aeon Azabu. It is right next to the bus terminal. As usual, after checking out of the hotel where I stayed, I came here by subway to wait for the bus to go home, and decided to have lunch. ☆■ Small shrimp salad cold capellini (600 yen) ■ Lunch drink bar (100 yen) This is a seasonal limited lunch menu. Maybe it's the first time I've ordered just capellini as a single item. I have eaten pasta with slightly thin noodles before, but this capellini was thinner than I expected, almost like somen. Hmm... unfortunately, it's a bit different from my preference. When the noodles are this thin, they don't have that al dente texture, so they feel a bit soft. It seems that I prefer noodles like ramen or pasta that are medium thickness. (I'm not a fan of thick flat noodles either...) The sauce on the noodles was not mayonnaise, but it had a pasta salad-like taste. On top of that, there was a salad with the usual thousand island dressing. There were quite a few small shrimp on top. As usual, I added olive oil and ground pepper to the soup. The soup alone feels a bit lacking, but it tastes better this way. For the drink, I had my usual mix of vegetable & fruit juice with orange juice. Since the bus towards my home only comes once an hour, I originally planned to relax after eating and skip one bus, but I stayed up late the night before and wasn't feeling well due to lack of sleep, so I ended up boarding the bus right after eating. "Milano Doria" (300 yen) - Turmeric rice with creamy doria sauce and meat sauce, a popular dish at Saizeriya! "Spaghetti Aglio e Olio" (300 yen) - Simple and delicious pasta with garlic and chili pepper. "Drink Bar" (200 yen) - My companion had cola. "White Wine Decanter" (200 yen) - I wanted a magnum but settled for a decanter because it's too heavy to carry. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced at this excellent Italian restaurant! It had been a long time since I last went to Saizeriya. I was surprised by the ordering system where you write your order down like at a sushi restaurant. I didn't have much time, so I ordered a small amount of cold dishes, but I was satisfied. The shrimp salad was particularly good, with a surprisingly large amount of shrimp that exceeded what was shown in the menu photos (lol). The petite focaccia was fluffy. I had thought that the charm of Saizeriya was ordering a lot of dishes with a large group, but I enjoyed dining alone as well. Next time, I want to try their desserts.

This is a review of a restaurant located next to the usual Asao bus terminal, in front of AEON Asao. I had lunch here while waiting for the bus back home after staying at a hotel. I chose the Vegetable Curry Doria Lunch for 500 yen, which came with salad and soup. I also added the Lunch Drink Bar for 100 yen. I was torn between the Half-Boiled Egg Milanese Doria and the Vegetable Curry Doria, but since it's summer, I decided to go with the curry. It was delicious! The set for 500 yen was quite affordable. For my drink, I had a mix of vegetable and fruit juice with orange juice. The table setting was neat and organized, with plenty of spoons and forks neatly arranged in a drawer-like compartment. This is the Saizeriya located on the premises of Aeon Asao as usual. I often use the subway Namboku Line to get back home from living in a hotel, so the route is a bit of a detour, but I usually take a bus from the bus terminal near Asao Station to get home. Since I have heart disease and can't walk much, this route allows me to avoid walking as much as possible. Plus, it's not a very crowded route, so I can usually get a seat even if I go to the bus stop right before departure time, which is a relief. Standing in one place for even 5 minutes is quite difficult for me now. (So at the bus stop, I often can't stand still and end up squatting.) Menu: - Napoli-style pasta (large serving for 600 yen) *Comes with salad and soup - Drink bar (100 yen) I always feel that the pasta at Saizeriya lacks sauce or is a bit bland. I forgot to mention this last time, but even when I had the eggplant meat sauce pasta, the taste was unsatisfying, so I asked for two extra ketchup packets to add more flavor. This time, I did the same, but the taste still felt lacking. The only topping was thinly sliced sausage... (I think there were some sliced canned mushrooms that looked like it, but I'm not sure if they actually existed). I wish they would at least add onions or bell peppers to the Napoli-style pasta. Maybe even some green peppers. Well, with various ingredients getting more expensive, it's probably not feasible to add more toppings while keeping the lunch price at 500 yen. That's why I was a bit disappointed with this Napoli-style pasta, which I tried for the first time, and I don't think I'll order it again. I got the large serving, as usual, so I could take half of it home and have it for part of my dinner. Next time I use the weekday lunch menu here, I think I'll stick to the "half-cooked egg doria." This is my first time visiting this restaurant at night. I was craving that lamb steak... but when I looked at the menu, I was shocked! The lamb rump steak that I wanted was no longer available, so sad... Instead, I ordered the lamb skewers, but even though they were quite rare, they were tough... The attached spice, which is said to be addictive by many, had a strong Mexican aroma that didn't quite suit my taste. The highlight was the potatoes - they were baked in the oven, not fried. They had a healthy feel to them, with a nice salty flavor that made me keep eating them. I wish the lamb steak would make a comeback...

I know it might sound rude, but I was surprised to find lamb steak on the menu at Saizeriya! The thick cut made me think it would be tough, but it was incredibly tender and juicy! I think this might be the best dish at Saizeriya. I want to eat it again!

On this day, I had lunch at a cafe called "Kan" across from Azabu Aeon, and when I checked the time to head back, I realized that the bus had just left. "Third time's a charm" they say. For the third time in a row, it was the exact same pattern. What terrible timing... So, once again, I decided to wait for the bus at Saizeriya across the street while enjoying dessert after lunch. I ordered a set of Melingata ice cake and pudding (400 yen) and a drink bar (200 yen). It's a nice size and price. I especially like the crunchy texture of the sugar in the Melingata. I had melon soda and hot green tea from the drink bar. I also ordered two skewers of rum grilled (400 yen) and five pieces of spicy chicken (300 yen) to go. Everything was delicious. We used it for dinner with our family. The menu variety has increased since we last visited. There were new additions like paella and soup, which were featured on a TV show about gourmet food. I ordered a glass of white wine for 100 yen and a Margherita pizza for 400 yen. The place quickly filled up with more customers. It's a convenient location with an Aeon mall and subway station nearby. The Margherita pizza arrived in about 10 minutes and it was surprisingly delicious for the price. The crust was thick and the cheese was tasty. It's definitely worth the 400 yen. Enjoying pizza and wine in the morning felt quite luxurious. Saizeriya drinking might become a habit for me. I visited Saizeriya at AEON Sapporo Asahikawa store for the first time. This is my second stop in Asahikawa, right next to AEON Asahikawa. I ordered sautéed spinach for 200 yen, pancetta pizza for 400 yen, and a 250ml decanter of red wine for 200 yen. The prices include tax, which is a great deal. The total was less than 1000 yen, and I even got change back. The restaurant was mostly full of customers, including elderly people. The food was delicious and the cost performance was unbeatable. The pizza, with a diameter of about 18cm, came with a pizza cutter and was enjoyable to eat. The red wine was not amazing, but it did the job. Overall, the food was tasty and the prices were incredibly affordable. I had a great time at Saizeriya and will definitely be back.

I had been unable to use it for lunch for a while, but finally got the chance! I saw someone who had ordered pizza and corn soup before... I decided to copy them! I ordered the classic Milan-style Doria and the limited-time Mushroom Soup. The total was 448 yen, with the soup costing 149 yen and the Doria 229 yen.
