I had the Gout Hot Pot course. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was great. Even though it's an izakaya, there weren't rowdy customers, so my friend and I could relax and enjoy our drinks. Sitting on the tatami mats and eating hot pot was elegant and perfect for winter. I love oysters, so I was satisfied with the delicious oysters. I want to come back next time for the Gangan Yaki course.

I didn't see any such disclaimer when making the reservation. I stayed quiet because I'm an adult. I ordered ramen to finish off the hot pot, but it took a while to come out... During that time, a part-time female staff member warned me that if I didn't eat the noodles quickly, they couldn't serve the next dish of clams. Well, if that's the case, then cook the noodles quickly and serve them, right? But when I said that, she just replied with a cold "okay." I understand that it's busy because it's the end of the year. I don't have any complaints about the taste. But I can't shake off this lingering feeling of frustration. I'm sorry for writing something so harsh, but...

I went for the all-you-can-eat grilled oyster course and all-you-can-drink plan at Plan A, and I just kept peeling and eating oysters! At first, I tried to order sashimi, but they said it wasn't ready yet because it was only 3 pm. So, I enjoyed some oyster fries and drinks while waiting for the grilled oysters to arrive. I was worried about whether I could peel the oysters shells properly, but I managed to do it smoothly while watching others. I think I had about 15 oysters in total (6 oysters per serving, and there were 2 of us). It was fun peeling and eating the hot oysters while holding them with gloves. Even though I was under time pressure (I wanted to eat as many as possible), it was a bit challenging. There were oysters of various sizes, which made me feel like I was enjoying the bounty of nature, and that was enjoyable. There were also various types of sake to drink, and I ended up drinking too much. When it was over, it was still before 5 pm, so I could still enjoy more activities... Starting at 3 pm was the best! (*^^*)

You can have a daytime drink at a place 5 minutes walk from Susukino Station!! I was looking for a place where you can have a daytime drink with children. From 12pm to 3pm, they have a happy hour with cheap drinks! Even though we went at 4pm, they still had a drink-all-you-can coupon which was great. It's an oyster restaurant, but they also have a wide variety of regular izakaya menu items, including potatoes and onigiri that kids can eat. Unfortunately, I was so busy that I only have this photo left (⁠・⁠–⁠・⁠;⁠)⁠ゞ They have private rooms in the tatami area, making it easy to use for families with children!

C course all-you-can-eat raw oysters, grilled oysters, and fried oysters in 90 minutes. Can you eat this much oysters for this price? The cost performance is too good. It must be irresistible for oyster lovers. I only ate oysters and potato fries. lol Thank you for the meal!

I arrived at Susukino earlier than planned from Nakayama Pass and felt tired from walking quite a distance from the hotel's affiliated parking lot. I decided to take a break at this restaurant, which seemed popular for its oysters. The interior had a deep, cozy atmosphere with mostly sunken seating areas, and it was quite empty as it was past 3 pm. I noticed a poster featuring oysters from Senhoushi, so I assumed this place served oysters from there. I ordered the following: - Niseiko (sake) for 480 yen - Mozuku vinegar (appetizer) for 500 yen - Fresh oysters for 330 yen - Leaf wasabi for 450 yen - Squid garlic liver for 380 yen - Asparagus tempura for 550 yen. Later, I read some Google reviews mentioning the attitude of the staff, but the young lady serving me was fine, so no issues there. I started with the sake as I had plans for all-you-can-drink beer at the hotel later. The sake was delicious, especially considering it was from Hokkaido! I was surprised to be seated at a tatami table despite being alone. Some college-aged guys next to me were grilling oysters enthusiastically, which looked fun. Since I was just taking a break from drinking, I didn't use the stove that automatically appeared at my table. The fresh oysters were large and incredibly tasty, making them the highlight of the meal. The leaf wasabi provided a nice kick, and the squid garlic liver paired well with the sake. Don't think of it as just a regular izakaya. You can eat oysters for 250 yen each, whether raw, grilled, or steamed. The oysters are incredibly large and plump. They are even more delicious when cooked than when raw. I wanted to try the hot pot too, but it was too much for one person. I regret not trying the gout hot pot. I definitely want to try it next time. The squid sashimi and zangi were also delicious! I will come back again! I will definitely come back!!!

When searching for oysters in Sapporo, this restaurant always comes up. I had been curious about it for a while, and finally got a chance to visit. They offer all-you-can-drink, but there is a limit of two dishes per person for non-oyster dishes. Even though it's an oyster restaurant, being told to try something other than oysters means that oysters have to take a back seat... So, I ordered tuna belly, tachipon (a type of fish), and burdock tempura? The tachipon was almost a thousand yen and came with only three pieces, so it was quite small in portion. The burdock tempura was like a snack-sized fried food. Just when I thought I might end up not having any oysters, I decided to order something like grilled oysters at the end. It was quite large, with a juicy and rich oyster inside one shell. Despite being cooked, it did not shrink at all, and the richness of the oyster left me completely satisfied with just one. The interior of the restaurant has a retro Showa era feel, with several tatami rooms. We were in a large room, and since there were no other customers, we were able to fully enjoy our meal. However, we were asked to leave after exactly two hours.

I went to eat a gout hot pot that included oysters, cod milt, ankimo, and large shrimp, and it was the most delicious hot pot I have ever had among all the different ones I've tried. The broth had a perfect flavor, and I thoroughly enjoyed every last bite. Even though I know it's not good to eat it too often, it's definitely a restaurant I want to visit again.

I had a sudden craving for oysters and found this place where I could enjoy them without any hesitation. At first, I mistakenly entered the building next door with the same name and got worried, but then I realized this place is actually a separate annex. Here, you can enjoy a drink-all-you-can option even during lunchtime, along with the grand menu for dinner. It feels a bit guilty to start drinking in the afternoon, but... If you order the drink-all-you-can option, the rule here is to also order two other menu items besides oysters, like salads or appetizers. I tried umesuisei for the first time and it was delicious. Since I have work tomorrow, I ordered a steamed oyster dish with dozens of oysters. They arrived in a pot filled to the brim, and I used the gloves and oyster knife on the table to indulge in them. In a fancy restaurant, I would be mindful of my surroundings and eat elegantly, but in a cozy place like this that reminds me of my hometown, I let my desires take over and devour the oysters. It's the perfect place to enjoy oysters while being true to yourself. Plus, since it was daytime, there were fewer customers, allowing me to focus solely on the oysters. The staff seemed to be handling everything on their own due to the low number of customers during lunchtime, so there were some delays in serving dishes, but it was expected. I appreciate stylish restaurants, but I love these cozy places where I can be myself.

●Oyster-filled lunch for 1100 yen I made a reservation in advance using Gotoeat points on Tabelog. It was easy to choose because the lunch was included in the course. I actually had a negative perception of oysters, but seeing everyone enjoying them made me want to challenge myself. I can eat fried oysters, but I think this was my first time trying steamed oysters. I visited the restaurant nervously, as I couldn't handle the taste and texture of raw oysters in the past. I rang the doorbell and took off my shoes at the entrance. The service was minimal, which may bother some people, but it was fine for me in the current situation. The atmosphere in the Japanese-style room with sliding doors felt like my grandparents' house, despite being on the 6th floor of a building in the city. It was a unique space with a strong rural feel. I think there were no other customers. The steamed oysters that came out were plump and very large! It may not come across in the photos, but they were round and firm, oozing with the taste of the sea. It was amazing! A treasure trove of umami. I have become a fan of oysters. The fried oysters were very crispy. The oysters themselves were not that big, but the batter was crunchy. One dish was a vinegar dish with octopus and seaweed. I'm not familiar with oysters, so I don't know the market price, but the steamed oysters were delicious. I want to try various oyster dishes. I might come back at night next time. I just had oysters earlier, but here I am having oysters again! We decided to go to a restaurant we wanted to visit, but I don't remember much because I had already been drinking a lot! On November 29, 2020 at 12:00, before returning home for the holidays, my second son requested, "I want to eat a lot of oysters. I also want to have some raw oysters." So, I made a reservation at this restaurant using Tabelog. We arrived as soon as they opened. When making the reservation online, I had already ordered two Oyster Lunch sets for 1,000 yen each, two Gout Nabe (oyster hot pot) for 2,200 yen each, and 5 pieces of raw oysters for 250 yen each. The dishes were served smoothly. My youngest son ordered croquettes, french fries, and a salmon rice ball. First, the raw oysters arrived. Both my second son and my wife were impressed by the fresh raw oysters. The oysters were from "Kushiro Senpoushi," oysters harvested in Senpoushi, located on the east side of Kushiro town. Oysters grown there, with a slightly strong current, are known for their firm and plump texture. They have large meat compared to the shell, with a strong sweetness and rich flavor. Next, the Gout Nabe was ready. Finally, the long-awaited Gout Nabe! The oysters were delicious, but the viscera was amazingly creamy. If the liver had more richness, it would be perfect. However, the broth is amazing. You can eat as much rice as you want with it. The Oyster Special Lunch set, limited to lunch, includes grilled oysters, steamed oysters, and 3 oyster fries. This is a great deal. My second son and wife enjoyed all the cooking methods of the oysters. My son said, "I easily ate more than 10 oysters. I thoroughly enjoyed the oysters. Thank you!" He's studying and working hard every day, so it's a little reward for him. The little one also seemed to enjoy the croquettes, french fries, and rice ball. Let's come back when we crave oysters again. Thank you for the meal!

I went to a part-time job at a club around 2 pm on a weekday. Finally, my wish came true to go to this place. There were no customers before or after me. I got a discount on the all-you-can-drink deal with a coupon, but I had to order at least 2 items by myself. However, oyster dishes didn't count towards that! I'm really hungry, so that's not a problem! I don't like oysters, so I had a bowl of beef toro instead. It was so delicious! The staff was managing everything alone, and since there were no other customers, I could hear their muttered words like a spell after I placed my order. It was fun! The shark cartilage mixed with plum was also good. It was my first time coming here to drink and not eat yakitori or karaage, but it turned out to be a great decision considering how my stomach felt later on. I wonder how many drinks I had... On a regular night, I went to a restaurant with three seniors for dinner. We had made a reservation at a place where oysters were the main dish and arrived at 6:30 pm as scheduled. The restaurant had a slightly cluttered atmosphere. We took off our shoes and were seated in a semi-private area with curtains around two sides of the table. The table was already set with a tabletop stove, oyster-opening gloves, and what looked like a knife. We started with a drink-all-you-can deal using a coupon from Tabelog for 980 yen for 120 minutes. The rule was that, besides oysters, each person had to order two other items. We started with a toast with beer and edamame appetizer while discussing our strategy. We decided to order grilled oysters, clam sake steamed, oyster hot pot, seafood hot pot, squid sashimi with wasabi, ramen salad, marinated firefly squid, Otoke gyoza, chives pancake, and beef toro bowl. The oysters were delicious and milky, the clam was flavorful, and the hot pots were hearty and affordable. The squid sashimi was average, the ramen salad was a bit lacking in ingredients, and the chives pancake had too much dough. The beef toro bowl was excellent. Overall, it was a great experience focusing on oysters.

It seems to be open for business from 12:00 PM. With La Fira gone, this could be a valuable daytime drinking spot in Susukino. So, I decided to attack it on a weekday at 3:00 PM! When I took the elevator to the 6th floor, the place was quiet. I pressed the button and a staff member came out. It seemed like they were open for business, but there were no other customers around, so my arrival seemed to have sparked some activity. The staff member seemed tired, making me feel a bit guilty. I decided to go for the all-you-can-drink option with no last order, limiting myself to two hours. I started with beer and added two more. I ordered grilled eggplant and chilled tofu with mountain wasabi as my two dishes, excluding oysters. I should have tried the oysters, but I got distracted by a few small bugs on the table. I ended up ordering potato fries and two more beers, but the bugs were bothering me. At 500 yen for three beers, I thought, "Oh well," and stopped worrying about the food. The appetizer was edamame for 500 yen. This seems like a place for those who want to eat a lot of oysters.

When I got off the elevator for lunch, I entered the restaurant and there was no one there. I pressed the buzzer and the owner came out from the back. I asked if they were open, and they said yes. I took off my shoes, was shown to a private room, and waited for my friend. The owner didn't offer any water. My friend arrived 30 minutes late, and we had steamed oysters, oyster rice, oyster hot pot, and sake-steamed clams. The clams were big and satisfying. The dishes were lightly seasoned and the soup was delicious. The hot pot came with ponzu sauce on the side. The oysters were plump and we finished them quickly. The oyster rice was served last and was best when it had cooled slightly. It was also lightly seasoned. I recommend this place if you like oysters. The owner may be a bit cold, but the food is good.

I came to Susukino to find cheap and delicious oysters to eat. Whether raw, grilled, or steamed, you can get 10 oysters for 2300 yen. I was very pleased with the taste, which exceeded my expectations. It's not a branded oyster, but I have never tasted something this cheap and delicious in Tokyo. The lunch menu is displayed on the sidewalk. Lunch is available from 12:00 onwards. Take the elevator to the 6th floor of the building and you will find the restaurant immediately. Since the restaurant seems to specialize in oysters, I ordered the Oyster Fry Set Meal. The oyster fry comes with four pieces. They are small but crispy on the outside and juicy inside. I enjoyed the first piece with tartar sauce, the second piece with oyster sauce, the third piece with soy sauce, and the fourth piece with a combination of tartar sauce and soy sauce. My favorite was the combination of tartar sauce and soy sauce. The salad consisted of shredded cabbage and lettuce with a tangy dressing. The miso soup had wakame seaweed. It was served piping hot, which was nice. The side dishes were stir-fried eggs with garlic chives and simmered konjac. The rice was freshly cooked and piping hot, but slightly on the firm side. All of this for 600 yen was quite a deal. (May 2020)
