I visited "Hokkaido Marugoto Dining Umaitssho! Main Store" on April 15th for the first time. It is a new brand that replaced the previous Dosanko Kitchen Retro Nagori Aso store, both owned by the same company, Corporation AIM. I made a reservation for 3 people for dinner at 7:30 pm. Even though I could have made a reservation online, strangely there were no options for 3 people. The restaurant, although an izakaya, has its own parking lot with space for 3 cars, and also offers paid parking nearby. When I arrived, I was seated at a sunken table, table number 15. In the past, during the Dosanko Kitchen days, I was seated at a regular table. After sitting down, I waited for the first order, but no one came, so I had to press the call button. I ordered the first drink, which was a 120-minute all-you-can-drink alcohol option for 1100 yen. It seemed like a special price for the opening, but interestingly, beer was considered an extra and cost 165 yen per glass. The staff explained the rules for the all-you-can-drink option, which you can see in the photo. However, the glasses were not replaced as mentioned, and there were up to 6 empty glasses on the table at one point. The restaurant seemed to be busy, with 2 staff on the floor, 2 in the kitchen, and 1 manager. The first drink arrived with a side dish of tofu salad, and I also ordered some additional dishes. The dishes arrived in the following order: Chanja (salted cod innards), Homemade Delicious Tofu, Deep-fried Long Potato, Salmon Sashimi Platter (using a coupon), Salmon Onigiri, Tokachi Wagyu Toro Donburi, Yamagata Black Wagyu Yukke, Oyster Fry, Chicken Liver Salad, and Katarama from Hanabatake Farm. The food was ordered using a tablet after the first drink, and it took over an hour for the dishes to arrive, so if you choose the 60-minute all-you-can-drink option, you might receive your food after the time is up. The alcohol served during the all-you-can-drink option seemed a bit diluted, so be careful not to overdrink. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience.
