Asahikawa Ramen Village, located at 11-4-119-48 Nagayama, Asahikawa City, I had the Shoyu Ramen at "Ramenya Amakane Ramen Village Store" (800 yen). It's a simple Asahikawa-style ramen with green onions, menma, and chashu. The amount of oil on the surface looks delicious. Amakane is a popular ramen shop with its main store on 4th Street. This was my first visit to this shop in Asahikawa Ramen Village. It's usually crowded, but on this day, it was empty right after opening. The menu starts from 800 yen. The prices of ramen have been increasing lately, but it can't be helped. The noodles in the Shoyu Ramen were from Fujiwara Seimen, with a low water content and medium thickness. The soup is a pork and chicken base without any seafood from Amakane. I enjoyed it with the roast pork and menma. I'm satisfied with my visit to the Ramen Village. Thank you for the meal.

I went to the Ramen Village in Asahikawa to enjoy some ramen. There was a long line, but I decided to wait and finally got in. The atmosphere inside was like a local Chinese restaurant. They had a wide variety of ramen on the menu, so I ordered a half-size of both soy sauce and miso ramen. I usually prefer miso, but the soy sauce ramen here was the best I've ever had.

I visited Asahikawa and wanted to try Asahikawa ramen, so I stopped by. Personally, I'm not a big fan of soy sauce ramen, but this one was surprisingly rich and delicious for a soy sauce-based ramen. It had the unique feature of using lard, which really stood out in Asahikawa ramen. I might come back for more in about 10 years!

Ordered the salt-flavored vegetable chashu ramen. First bite. The soup broth was incredibly delicious... I want to take it home and drink it every day. Not too light, not too heavy. The chashu, which I think was pork thigh, had just the right amount of fat so it didn't leave me feeling heavy. It was really tasty. And most of all, the stir-fried vegetables were quite surprising. They were coated in just the right amount of oil, so when combined with the noodles and soup, it all came together as a delicious whole. Do you get what I'm saying? Haha, I definitely recommend getting the vegetable chashu ramen over just regular chashu ramen!!! I arrived a little before 11:00 and the place was already packed. I heard it was a popular spot, and I can see why. The service, including the polite staff, was truly top-notch. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I lined up at the number 1 ramen shop in Ramen Village. I was debating whether to get a half portion, but it was so delicious that I'm glad I ordered the regular size. It was a ramen that was not too rich or too light, and I didn't get tired of it until the end.

It was during Golden Week, so half of the ramen village was closed. The place I originally wanted to go to was closed, but I found a great alternative! I ordered a half-size ramen. The soup was a bit thick and very delicious. Since it was a half-size, the bowl was small and it was a bit difficult to eat with the spoon, but the taste was so good that it was worth it!

I visited around lunchtime (12:30), it was quite busy with about 80% of the tables occupied. I sat at the counter and ordered the "Spicy Ramen" for 800 yen and the "Mountain Wasabi Rice" for 200 yen. It had been a while since I last ate here, but it was still delicious!

Ramen Village. I am the ambassador of exchange. At the Ramen Village Shrine, they also have wooden plaques. Now, the shop I visited after a long time was this one. The taste I had when I first came to Asahikawa, Tenkin. There was a line. It seems like a lot of tourists, foreigners, have come back. Every shop has a line. And Tenkin was particularly crowded. I think I lined up for about 30 minutes. While waiting in line, I chose my menu. But since I had time, I couldn't decide between wanting to try this or that, so I ended up not choosing. Come to think of it, I have never tried anything other than soy sauce at Tenkin. They have salt, miso... but... What should I do, should I try something new? Corn Butter Ramen 950 yen, large serving +100 yen, rice 200 yen. In the end, I didn't go for an adventure. Well, actually, I did go for an adventure. I ordered corn butter for the first time. Until now, the only thing I had tried other than the regular was vegetable soy sauce. Oh, and this time, I went for soy sauce flavor again. Both as a set. I was staring at the menu, but there wasn't an option for just butter or just corn. They come together, with an additional 150 yen. Butter really works like magic. Just having it adds depth to the flavor. But since Tenkin's original flavor is already strong, it even made it feel a bit milder. The pork slices are lean. And there were three slices on top! I thought there were only two, but it turned out to be three. One slice was stuck to another, so maybe I got lucky with an extra slice. Or maybe it's always three slices when you order a large serving. Oh my! So delicious! It's been a while since I had Tenkin, and it's so good. The first time I tried it, I couldn't handle such a strong soy sauce flavor. But now, it tastes delicious. The intense flavor has the soup's umami concentrated in it. The lard on top also adds richness. Curly noodles. The noodles are not too dry, and they firmly hold the soup. They lift it up well. I think eating this outside when it's snowing would make it taste 50% better. It's delicious inside the shop too, of course, but I want to eat it outside and warm up. That's the feeling this bowl gives me. Lengé rice. This time, it's the special version. I melted the butter in the soup a bit and enjoyed it. There's no way this isn't delicious. It's the best!!! However, I ate the large serving ramen and rice too quickly, and my stomach started to ache. By the way, the young man next to me, who was eating soy sauce ramen, had a miso ramen next to him. I wondered if someone else was coming? But he ended up eating two bowls normally. There was an option to have a half portion of each if you wanted to compare, but I guess he just wanted to eat two bowls. Thank you for the meal. ⇒ ★When it's cold, the strong soy sauce flavor is the best◇

It had been a while since I visited Ramen Village, and there were many Chinese tourists around. It was already past lunchtime, but this particular shop had a long line outside. I ordered the vegetable soy sauce ramen, while the person behind me seemed unfamiliar with the local flavors. I usually go for miso ramen, but this time I decided to try soy sauce. The aroma and taste of the stir-fried vegetables added a nice touch to the ramen. It was delicious!

At the end of my trip to Asahikawa, I visited a ramen village and without any prior knowledge, I entered this shop. It was past 3 pm but I waited a bit and was able to get in. I wanted to try a couple of different ramens, so I ordered a half-sized soy sauce ramen (500 yen). The surface had a film of lard-like substance and was piping hot. The soup was on the richer side, and the medium-thick curly noodles coated in the soup had a comforting salty flavor that warmed me up in the cold winter. The chashu was light and not too heavy, I finished it in no time. I should have ordered a full-sized one. I don't particularly love ramen, but I could get addicted to the ramen here. The three gyoza were also recommended, filled with juicy meat. I noticed some people around me were eating mountain wasabi rice, is this a specialty of this region or the restaurant? The downtown shops seem crowded, so Ramen Village with its large parking lot seems convenient. I would like to come back at a less busy time to try more.

When it comes to Asahikawa, I used to only go to Hachiya since my 20s, but during a trip I stopped by Ramen Village and chose Tenkin. It was delicious. It really hit the spot for my tired body from driving. It has a simple taste that you can recommend to anyone when asked, "It's delicious."

I stopped by Ramen Village for a late lunch after visiting Asahikawa Design Center. Among the several shops, I chose Tenkin for the day. I ordered the Shoyu Chashu Ramen. It may look simple, but the harmony of the noodles, soup flavor and temperature, and the ingredients like chashu was outstanding in this Shoyu Ramen. The balance was so good that my chopsticks kept moving, and I didn't feel the need for any rice dishes. I savored every last drop of the soup, and my stomach and heart were pleasantly satisfied.

I had lunch at our restaurant with a good rating on Tabelog at the Asahikawa Ramen Museum. I ordered the vegetable ramen with extra chashu and mountain wasabi rice. The mountain wasabi rice had a strong wasabi flavor that was refreshing. It was perfect as a break from the ramen. The ramen itself was delicious, matching well with the vegetables.

I ordered soy sauce ramen and fried rice with spicy mayo. The ramen was 800 yen (tax included) with medium-thin noodles and a traditional Asahikawa ramen flavor with a hint of dried fish. It came with two round, tender slices of chashu pork, topped with seaweed and green onions, and was delicious. The fried rice with spicy mayo was 350 yen, but the portion in the small bowl felt a bit lacking, so I think it would have been better to order the chashu ramen with rice for 1000 yen. There is cold water available on the table for you to help yourself to.

When I went to Asahikawa, I always make sure to eat ramen, but I had never been to this shop before because I prefer miso flavor. My friend insisted on trying shoyu ramen, so we went to Tenkin. The ramen with a strong fish broth had a traditional Asahikawa flavor, which even as a miso fan, I found quite tasty. Hmm, but I still prefer miso.

When it comes to Asahikawa, you have to try the soy sauce ramen, so I researched and went to a delicious looking restaurant. I wanted to compare different ramen at Ramen Village, so I first went to Tenkin, which I wanted to try the most. Wow, I wanted a regular size, not a mini ramen! It's hard to describe, but unlike Tokyo soy sauce ramen, it has a rich flavor and is delicious! I finished it quickly and then went to the next ramen shop in Ramen Village, but well, the taste was weak and not delicious... If I had known, I would have just chosen Tenkin! Next time I come to Asahikawa, I will have a rematch at the main store. Thank you for the meal! ^_^

On the way back from my Hokkaido trip, I decided to stop by Asahikawa, known for its Asahikawa ramen. I visited Ramen Village and found a shop called "Tenkin" that I had been curious about. I ordered the vegetable soy sauce ramen, which was healthy with plenty of vegetables, yet had a rich soy sauce flavor mixed with oil that paired perfectly with the curly noodles. It was difficult to describe the thick soy sauce taste unique to Hokkaido. Eating ramen in Hokkaido is the best! I already want to go back to Hokkaido again. Thank you for the meal! 🍜

I always order the soy sauce vegetable chashu here. Since the vegetables can make the flavor slightly weaker, I order it with a stronger taste, but it was very delicious with a rich soy sauce flavor compared to the main store. The service was also efficient. Perhaps due to the presence of rival restaurants nearby, I got a good impression that they were more motivated than the main store.

Popular ramen shop "Tenkin" in Asahikawa. I have been to the Shijo branch many times, but they also have a store in Ramen Village. I have never been to the Ramen Village branch before. I wanted to eat Tenkin's ramen again, so I decided to visit. I always thought Ramen Village was crowded with tourists, but it wasn't too crowded on this day due to the heavy snow. I entered at 11:10 am, with one group of customers ahead of me. Today, I decided to try something new and ordered the "Corn Butter Ramen" (miso) for 950 yen. It arrived in about 5-6 minutes. The Corn Butter Ramen (miso) has a tonkotsu and chicken broth base. The miso flavor is quite mellow and the butter adds a nice aroma. The corn complements the miso soup well. The noodles are the typical Asahikawa style thin curly noodles. The toppings included two slices of pork chashu, salted bamboo shoots, and green onions. Despite the simple toppings, the combination worked well with the corn butter flavor. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the meal. Just like the Shijo branch, Tenkin continues to impress with its delicious ramen.

It's been a while since I visited Ramen Village. I am serving as an exchange ambassador at Ramen Village, but I haven't been very active lately. Please let me do some work for you. Currently, there are no tourists. When it first opened, there were long lines at all the shops, and it was quite a commotion. When I first came to Asahikawa, I hadn't been here before. I used to come here often for radio and internet broadcasts, but I hope the broadcasts will come back. I remember my first taste of Asahikawa ramen at Tenkin's shoyu ramen. It was 15 years ago, and I couldn't drink the soup at all because it was too strong. Now, sometimes I even ask for it to be stronger. It's funny how tastes change over time. When you enter the shop, the menu is prominently displayed. You can take your time choosing because there are menus on the tables and even outside. So, even indecisive people like me can choose at their own pace. The shoyu ramen at Tenkin is a must-try. It's my first ramen in Asahikawa. The noodles are slightly curly and made with Asahikawa's soft water. The strong shoyu soup pairs well with them. This time, I couldn't order the small rice that I usually have with it because I was here for an interview with the magazine "Ryner." Look out for the feature in the upcoming issue. For those who don't receive "Ryner," I will also post the article on my blog soon. The ramen is delicious! The roast pork, menma, and green onions are simple toppings. I just noticed that there were three slices of pork this time. Is this the usual amount? Or is it because of the interview? No, it must be the usual amount. It's a nice surprise. I suddenly wanted rice... I said. Rice, please... I said. Ramen, rice, ramen... right? No, no, no, I thought I could only order ramen for the interview, so I didn't ask for rice!! I said. Why didn't you order rice then? You can just order it now!! My friend got angry. But it's too late now because I've already taken the photos. There was no one else in the restaurant at that time. Look out for this article in the upcoming issue of "Ryner" or next week. By the way, try to find Hide Morita. There is a Ramen Village Shrine, and the names of the officials are listed there. Even the former mayor of Asahikawa, Masato Nishikawa, is there. Can you find my name? Check it out when you visit the shrine. Thank you for the meal. ⇒ ◇ There is a place called "Shoyu" in this store, right?
