As I was driving down Atsubetsu Street, I noticed that "La Pausa" had an empty parking lot. So, I decided to have pasta (or pizza?) for lunch today. That's how I ended up at "La Pausa Atsubetsu Street" It's been a while since I last visited La Pausa. La Pausa is part of the Colowide Group and according to their website, they currently have 17 stores in Tokyo, Kanagawa, and Hokkaido. I ordered from the lunch menu - Bacon and Broccoli in Tomato Sauce for 900 yen, which includes a drink. It was ready in about 10 minutes. Let's dig in! The tomato sauce is rich and the pasta is cooked al dente. The bacon is cut into small pieces. It's a delicious pasta! I would love to try their pizza again sometime. Thank you for the meal! I wanted to have a quick lunch and decided to try La Pause chain for the first time. The restaurant was spacious, and I was seated at a table where there were no people around, so I felt comfortable eating. I ordered the lunch set with salad and soup, and chose the creamy eggplant bolognese pasta. Although it was described as creamy, it didn't seem to contain heavy cream or anything like that. I wish they had included some grated cheese on top. Compared to other pasta chains, I think it's tastier than J***s, but it lacks a unique quality that would make me want to come back again.

On a certain weekday, I went to a restaurant in Atsubetsu Ward that I had planned to visit, but it was closed. Instead, I went to the Italian restaurant next door. The parking lot had plenty of space. The restaurant was spacious with various table sizes and even private rooms at the back. European music was playing in the background. I decided to try the lunch menu available until 5 pm, but I couldn't decide on a pasta dish, so I ordered the "Clam Chowder with Oysters and Clams (980 yen)" and the "Risotto Rice (180 yen)" that caught my eye. The pasta was average in size with a lightly al dente texture. The soup was a bit bland, with a basic white sauce and not much clam flavor. The ingredients included spinach, zucchini, fried potatoes, yellow and red bell peppers, and a few small oysters and clams. The oysters could have had a stronger flavor. The risotto was lightly seasoned with umami and cheese, and when I added the remaining soup as suggested, it complemented the white sauce base well. Although it may not be a busy time for restaurants right now, I hope that bustling times will return soon. Thank you for the meal.

I felt a sense of happiness in the dessert that came with the daily pasta course! I ordered the daily pasta course (steamed chicken and spinach with onsen egg peperoncino). The pasta tasted safe and average, with a uniform feeling. The pasta was on the softer side. However, the combination of spinach and onsen egg was great. The dessert was ice cream and chocolate cake, and for a lunch set around 1000 yen, I was quite satisfied. The pasta was ordinary, but the dessert may have made up for it. Thank you for the meal!

They also have a spacious parking lot, which is great (^^)b They offer great value set menus, but I prefer just the pasta dishes. Other than the set menus, pasta dishes are all under 1000 yen. For example, the spaghetti aglio e olio is only 500 yen including tax (ﾟДﾟ)!! The white wine (ﾟДﾟ)ﾉ is a good amount for 240 yen and nicely chilled. The pasta is full of ingredients! Last time, it was almost plain, but it seems like they've improved it ( ´∀｀ )b The salmon is probably trout and there's a generous amount of it in the dish. There's also plenty of spinach! The cream sauce is light and slightly diluted, which might feel a bit lacking, but I prefer it not too heavy. I like my pasta a bit firmer though. Today is the final day of my two-day weekend break! At 11 a.m., I have a meeting with the visiting doctor at my parents' house! The meeting is expected to end two hours later after listening to the office staff's explanation. I'm tired already! After returning home, it's time for lunch. Yesterday, I had ramen and bread. My wife said, "Anything other than ramen!" We received a monthly coupon in our mailbox from the local newspaper "Fripa" offering a discounted pasta dish for just one coin. I checked on Tabelog and found out that we can use the coupon from there. So, my wife and I headed towards Ebetsu on "Atsubetsu Street" in front of our house. When we arrived, it was already past 1 p.m., but the parking lot was almost full. I wonder if everyone is using the "Fripa" discount coupon today? As we entered the restaurant, we were greeted very warmly. The place was bustling! All the staff in the hall were women only. The daily pasta lunch options were changed to either Neapolitan or clam and mushroom peperoncino. We ordered Neapolitan for me and clam and mushroom peperoncino for my wife. While waiting, a salad set arrived. It was a great deal for just one coin! We served ourselves with drinks, I had cola and my wife had iced coffee. The pasta looked great, thin type which I like, and it was quite filling. My Neapolitan had a lot of bacon and tasted delicious. It was a steal for just one coin! My wife's peperoncino was also delicious. We can recreate the taste at home, but for just one coin, it was worth it! We'll definitely come back again! P.S. There were a lot of young kids and their moms at the restaurant. As parents whose children have grown up, it didn't bother us. It was already past lunchtime, and the kids were running around, so it was cute. Next time, we'll try the pizza for dinner!

It used to be a popular chain, but now I found out they only have 2 stores in Sapporo. It's been a while! The menu has changed a lot. While it may not beat Saizeriya, the prices have become much cheaper. Glass of wine for 159 yen, bottle for 999 yen. Various appetizers starting from 299 yen. Good for drinking cheap alcohol. Even though the individual items are cheap, the set meals are even more cost-effective! Dinner Pasta Course: - Salad - Garlic toast or baguette - Choice of pasta from 10 options - Choice of dessert from 4 options - Drink (wine is also okay) All of this in a set for 990 yen. With the Hot Pepper coupon, it's 890 yen (excluding tax). White wine that goes down like water, around 5% alcohol? Is there really wine like that? The salad is just lettuce, with 2 daikon radishes. The freshness is good. There are two pictures of the garlic toast for comparison of sizes, showing the disparity. We shared two pasta dishes: one with small dried fish and seaweed, and the other similar to peperoncino with a soft-boiled egg. Both lacked in ingredients, but considering the price, it's acceptable. Lastly, dessert - tiramisu in a small spoon, and a frozen dessert that was hard to eat with a fork. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is nice, but I would say Saizeriya offers more satisfaction. I had the daily lunch for 500 yen after becoming a member. It's good when you want to quickly eat some spaghetti. It comes with a small salad and one drink. You can choose between hot or cold drinks.

I visited the restaurant after a long time and ordered the standard all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink option. I first ordered drinks and dishes, but the drinks never came. I received a salad and French fries as a starter, but still no drinks. Even though pizzas and pastas arrived, the drinks were still missing. After waiting for about 15 minutes, I finally had to speak up and ask a server about my drinks. It took another 5 minutes for the drinks to arrive. This kept happening repeatedly - drinks not coming, dishes not coming. I even asked the neighboring table if their dishes had arrived yet. And then, dishes that I didn't even order arrived. Even though it was supposed to be all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink, the system was clearly not working properly. I think they should stop offering the all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink option. I won't be returning.

I wanted to go to a buffet for the first time in a while, so I came here. Although I noticed some changes in the lineup and system compared to before, I enjoyed the food.

There is also an Italian restaurant with all-you-can-eat options. The pizza baked in a stone oven looks delicious, so I want to try it next time.

When you come to this restaurant, make sure to order the pizza. You can enjoy a reasonably priced, stone oven-baked pizza here. The dough is crispy on the outside and thin in the middle, following the Neapolitan style, which can be tailored to your preference. It's fun to watch the pizzas being baked in the stone oven located in the center of the restaurant. The house wine is a great value, and enjoying it with pizza will make you feel happy.

Tender beef tendon and tripe simmered in spicy tomato sauce for 590 yen, and bite-sized coarse-ground sausage baked in a pizza oven for 390 yen.

Even though it's not all-you-can-eat, I'm still satisfied.
