I went there. In Tokyo's Asagaya, there is a renowned meat restaurant known for its Chateaubriand, or rather Satoburian. I heard about this famous meat restaurant in Asagaya in Suginami Ward over 7 years ago. At that time, a friend used to go there every weekend, and I was left with a very strong impression of how delicious it must be. However, I didn't have many chances to visit Asagaya in Suginami Ward, so time passed, and now a friend managed to get a reservation, so I went. Before going, we chatted about how it would take about 30 minutes to get there from the city center. Well, when I got into a taxi 30 minutes in advance, I ended up being about 20 minutes late... From Kojimachi in Chiyoda Ward, it took 40 minutes by taxi. The fare was around 7,000 yen, which is quite rare to exceed 5,000 yen in the central 23 wards. Well, the location is a bit far from the center of Tokyo~ However, on the way back, I got off at Shinjuku from Asagaya, and it was around 3,000 yen. As for the dishes: 1. Probably a specialty small dish starting with beef stew. It was just delicious. 2. Next, a sparkling thick piece of grilled meat was brought out... It was so beautiful, with a lovely color, like a "jewel box of meat." 3. A salad for a refreshing start after the tongue start. I don't usually eat tongue, but I could eat it easily. 4. And then, one after another, meat was served, from harami to fillet. The ginger soy sauce was incredibly delicious. 5. And then, I had the specialty small dish sukiyaki. 6. Tomatoes for a palate cleanser. 7. Ended with cold noodles and ice cream. The impression of the food was that the meat was tender and delicious, and the sauce from someone who knows meat well. However, dishes like beef stew and cold noodles didn't leave a particular impression, only the sweetness and tenderness of the meat remained. It seems like a shop for true meat experts. If you imagine a meat cuisine restaurant, it's a bit different. It's more like a "superb men's meal where you can eat really delicious meat in yakiniku." As for the restaurant itself, I went to the main store, which is located in a modest shopping street, with few seats but spacious ones, and the staff were brisk and pleasant. There were countless autographs of celebrities at the entrance, from the prime minister to Ohtani-san. Cost performance: This course for two people cost 30,000 yen, so I think it's not bad, but considering the distance, it's just average. Would I go again? The meat was quite delicious, but I'm not that into yakiniku in the first place, and a 40-minute drive... hmm, Asagaya is far... It might be a bit difficult for me due to the location. But if it's for socializing or something like that, I might go.
