On a certain weekday, I visited a sukiyaki restaurant belonging to the Skylark Group for the first time, I think. The parking lot is shared and spacious. The interior of the restaurant is similar in size to a family restaurant with many table seats, providing a decent amount of space between each table. As a measure against COVID-19, customers are instructed to disinfect their hands at the entrance and wear masks and vinyl gloves each time they go to get vegetables. The staff's explanations were polite but seemed somewhat mechanical. I decided to order the "Three Kinds of Pork All-You-Can-Eat (1399 yen, tax included)" and the "Drink Bar (249 yen, tax included)" which significantly increased the total cost. I ordered the meat using the touch panel, put on nylon gloves, selected vegetables and sauces, and returned to my table only to find that the meat had already arrived! However, every time I went to get vegetables, I ended up with more gloves. The portions of meat seemed small at first, but as I ate vegetables and sides, my stomach quickly filled up. The pork belly, pork loin, and chicken meat were thinly sliced and had a good texture. The two types of soup base in the pot were light and good, while the scallop and sweet shrimp soup had a subtle flavor. The variety of dipping sauces for the meat and vegetables, such as pickled vegetables, avocado dip, sichuan chili oil, plum bonito sauce, grated onion, and yuzu pepper, were all impressive. The wakame and bamboo shoot rice had a firm texture with a light saltiness, and the curry with sweet ground meat seemed like something children would enjoy. The dessert options like soft serve ice cream and waffles, as well as the drink bar, were typical of a family restaurant. Most customers seemed to enjoy their meal in their own way, staying for an average of about 90 minutes. Personally, I would like to try the all-you-can-eat option for one type of meat next time and enjoy the delicious vegetables. It was amusing to see the customer next to me continuously ordering large quantities of meat at a fast pace, while the customer across from me indulged in endless waffles and melon juice. Hats off to them! Thank you for the meal.
