On this day, my workplace was in Nihonbashi, and I decided to have lunch here on the 5th floor of a mixed-use building near Kanda, just a short walk away. It's truly a typical mixed-use building! When I arrived right at the 11:30 opening time, there were about 3-4 groups of customers already there. The interior has a lot of character and is quite spacious, so there was no line at this time. The somewhat wild-looking master and a young male assistant run the place. The young man takes orders in the order of arrival. The lunch menu is extremely simple, with a choice of 1, 2, or 3 out of 5 curry options. On this day, the options were chicken, nastomato, beans, cabbage, and zucchini – a healthy lineup! I chose chicken, nastomato, and cabbage. The dishes arrived quite quickly, in about 6-7 minutes. I tried each curry, and they truly had distinct flavors. The cabbage had a gentle taste with coconut coming through prominently. The nastomato had a strong tomato flavor, almost like an Italian tomato sauce with added acidity and spice, refreshing and light. My favorite was the chicken curry, with a herbal quality and spiciness – incredibly delicious! By the way, mixing the cabbage and tomato on the rice was a perfect match. The portion size was just right. At 1200 yen for 3 curries in these times, it's quite reasonable. The place is on the 5th floor of a sizeable mixed-use building, with an interior resembling a Western-style pub with character. The master and staff have a wild vibe (though not intimidating or scary), yet many female customers, including solo diners, were there for lunch. With the healthy options and value for money, it's no wonder it's popular with women. I definitely want to try their evening pub menu as well! It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!
