Visit date: Sunday, February 27, 2022, around 11 a.m. The level of conveyor belt sushi in Hokkaido is top-notch, to say the least, at a national level. Among the three major players, Triton, Nemuro Hanamaru, and Nagoyakatei, my personal favorite is Triton! ('∇') Arrived at New Chitose Airport, took a train to Sapporo Station, transferred to the Sapporo Municipal Subway Toho Line, and walked about 7 minutes in the snow from Gakuen-mae Station. It is located along National Route 36. Upon arriving in Sapporo in the morning, I headed straight there. Many of their branches are in the suburbs, and the closest one to Susukino area is the Toyohira branch. I aimed to arrive by their opening time at 11 a.m. After about 10 minutes, it was already full. I waited inside the restaurant for about 40 minutes, showing how popular it is! I was guided to a counter seat and greeted by the chef, which I appreciated. I started ordering from the touch panel in front of me. The menu is extensive and it can be hard to choose. Hokkaido-produced ingredients have a Hokkaido mark on them, making it easy to see local items at a glance, which is convenient. If possible, I would like to choose items that can only be eaten in Hokkaido. Additionally, you can quickly check your order history and current bill from the touch panel. A lively atmosphere in the restaurant. Perhaps due to the influence of the new coronavirus, sushi is not circulating on the conveyor belt. A notable point of Triton is the large size of the sushi and the abundance of seasonal and local ingredients. Items like the tuna tataki gunkan had a great volume. The consistency of deliciousness without any fluctuations whenever you go is impressive, and I admire the high level of Hokkaido's conveyor belt sushi. ◆ Summary It is one of the top conveyor belt sushi chain stores in Hokkaido, always with a long line. When you come to Hokkaido, you must eat here, even if you have to wait! There are many tourists with suitcases, but it is also loved by true locals. I came to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Hokkaido that I really wanted to visit after hearing how amazing it is! I randomly searched on Google Maps and ended up at a great place. The staff at the counter greeted us so politely! The sushi was delicious, I came all the way from Kansai and it was totally worth it. The fish was amazing, especially the sea urchin, although the portion was a bit small. Overall, everything we tried was delicious! The wait was about an hour, which was a bit challenging, but we were seated in about 40 minutes. The parking lot was spacious and easy to park in. The staff were all friendly and the service was great. The sushi came out quickly! If there's a better conveyor belt sushi restaurant than this, I'd love to hear about it. I'm satisfied! I visited one of the three most popular conveyor belt sushi restaurants. I arrived around 5 pm on a Sunday and there was a wait for 20 groups. They said it would be about a 2-hour wait, so I went back to the hotel and took a bath. I arrived back around 7 pm, but at that point they had stopped taking any more customers. It must be really popular. I was excited and looking forward to it. I was called in after about 10 minutes of waiting inside the restaurant. I ordered scallops, salmon roe, crab, and squid. They were all fresh without any fishy smell. The taste was good, though some of the fish seemed a bit bland. However, the tuna was exceptional. The negitoro was also delicious. I would like to visit Hanamaru in Nemuro next time.

During a trip to Hokkaido, I visited the revolving sushi restaurant Triton Toyohira in Sapporo. I chose this popular sushi restaurant after doing some research. I arrived around 5 pm and got a waiting ticket. Despite arriving early, there was still about a 1-hour wait due to the large number of people. It's a chain restaurant, but it's incredibly popular for a reason. Finally, it was our turn, and we were seated in a booth. Every piece of sushi was fresh, and the size of the fish was about 1.5 times larger than usual. I highly recommend the salmon, octopus head, eel, and fatty tuna. The salmon was particularly delicious with a good balance of richness and freshness. The Hokkaido octopus head was larger and sweeter than regular octopus, with a satisfying chewy texture. The thick-cut eel was exquisite, so tender and elegantly flavored that the rice almost disappeared beneath it. The fatty tuna looked beautiful and melted in the mouth with a luxurious taste. Despite eating a lot, I was shocked by the price of only 3,500 yen per person. The quality, size, and variety of the sushi were exceptional, and at this price, it's a steal. It's no wonder this place is so popular. If you're looking for sushi in Hokkaido, Triton is the way to go.

In Hokkaido, where seafood restaurants are crowded, this popular restaurant was worth the nearly one-hour wait during the weekday lunch peak at 12 o'clock. Every plate of sushi I tried was exceptional, and I had a wonderful time. The chef also greeted the customers with great hospitality, making it a truly happy experience.

Visited for dinner during a golf trip. Waited for 2 hours. Getting hungrier and more excited. Forgot to take most photos, but the food was big and delicious. They might be intentionally reducing portion sizes, but more appetizers would have been even better. Felt the greatness of Hokkaido at this restaurant.

I visited Triton for a lunch during my business trip to Hokkaido. This time, I went to Triton's conveyor belt sushi restaurant, Triton Toyohira branch. Despite it being past 1 pm on a weekday, I had to wait for about 15 minutes to get in. The popularity of the place seems to be still high. The menu changes depending on the season, but I couldn't help but be drawn to the Hokkaido specialties. Especially the smelt and herring, which are enticing for someone who can't eat them raw. The scallop adductor muscle was also fresh and delicious. It's not worth thinking about how much I ate or how much it cost. Everything was delicious. I felt once again that this is a place where you can enjoy luxury even though it's a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

The other day, I came to this revolving sushi restaurant with my friends on the weekend. This place is famous for its revolving sushi. We arrived around 11 o'clock, but there was a long line, so we had to wait for about an hour and a half. After making a reservation and waiting, we finally entered the restaurant. The seafood dishes were all delicious and amazing.

I arrived before 12 o'clock and waited for about an hour, but it was nice to be able to wait in the car. They let me know via LINE as the time got closer. The sushi was delicious and reasonably priced, so I was very satisfied. After eating ramen, I went to another place and ended up eating a lot.

This was my first visit to Triton here. I waited in line for about an hour and a half to get in! I was wondering why there was such a long line, but my expectations were high! I sat down and ordered a beer. Cheers! The sushi was all fresh and delicious! The tuna was especially amazing that day. Triton has a system where you can see the order of the line, so it seems like a good idea to get a ticket at the store beforehand and kill time before going! It's difficult to take photos of sushi.

It had been many years since I last had sushi at Triton. While on a business trip, I used to visit the restaurant near Minami Hiragishi Station. I made a reservation in advance, but it took about 40 minutes longer than expected to be seated because I had requested a table. If there were only two people, they seemed to be seated on time, but we were a group of four this time. I started with a draft beer and ordered my favorite tako atama (octopus head). As you can see in the photo, the toppings were large and served on a plate. In Kanto region restaurants, the toppings are usually smaller and placed directly on the rice. The tako atama was soft and delicious. I even ordered a second serving later on. While enjoying my draft beer, I slowly savored the sushi, cutting the rice in half to try different varieties. It was delicious, and I finished every last piece. Thank you for the meal.

I came to check out the rumored Triton. I ordered two plates because I like herring. It was just average, lacking any Sapporo uniqueness. I also tried the saury, mackerel, and tuna, all of which were also just average. The prices were also average. Overall, leaning towards the negative side, everything was just average.

I went to Triton, a rotating sushi restaurant loved by the people of Hokkaido. They serve sushi mainly made from fish and seafood caught in Hokkaido at a reasonable price. I went there right when they opened, and it took about an hour and a half to finally get a seat. Amazing.

There is a sushi restaurant that is known as a rotating sushi place, but strictly speaking, the sushi does not actually rotate. I heard from a colleague who is from Hokkaido that I absolutely must try the sushi here, but it is always crowded and the average wait time is 1.5 hours, so I had to give up on visiting during my business trip. Instead, I decided to come back to Hokkaido on a personal trip for revenge! This time, I will also try the colorful miso ramen! Arriving at New Chitose Airport, I took the JR train to Sapporo and then the subway to Sumikawa Station. I first stopped to have miso ramen at Junren for a quick bite. I arrived at Triton on a Friday evening. There was already a crowd gathering in front of the restaurant! I registered on the waiting list machine at 18:45. About an hour later, the waiting list stopped. From then on, it was a race for those who were already waiting in line. I tried to speed up my wait time by not choosing a table and just waiting. About 1 hour and 20 minutes later, I got a notification on LINE! I entered the restaurant and informed them about the notification, and they asked me to wait inside. After about 5 minutes, I was seated at the counter, where the staff greeted me warmly. I ordered from the tabletop terminal, selected the nigiri, and of course, had a Sapporo Classic beer. I quickly understood why this sushi place received high praise! First, the service was fast. The freshness and portion size of the sushi were exceptional, especially considering the price. The negitoro sushi had an incredible amount of filling, almost three times more than a regular conveyor belt sushi place, and it came as two pieces per plate! Most people around me ordered it as well. The price of the negitoro was about 1.5 times higher than the usual conveyor belt sushi price, but the quality and service made it worth it. By the way, since I came all the way to Hokkaido, I enjoyed the sushi with a Sapporo Classic beer without even looking at the prices, but I was shocked at the final bill. It was around 6,200 yen for two people (including tax)?! The satisfaction and enjoyment I felt easily exceeded 10,000 yen, so the wait was definitely worth it. I heard that if you come early, you can get the best ingredients, so I will definitely come back earlier next time! However, it was unbelievable! Truly the best! I am grateful to my colleague for recommending this place!

I waited for about 2 hours as I visited on a Sunday afternoon. When I looked at the menu, I saw octopus eggs, which I had never seen at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant before, so I ordered it first. It was soft and delicious. The other sushi was also tasty, and the toppings were large, making me forget about the waiting time. Even at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant in Hokkaido, the quality is high, and I think it's better to be satisfied than to go to a mediocre sushi restaurant. (laughs)

Stable high quality. One piece of conger eel, spring three varieties plate (sakura shrimp, red tuna, cherry salmon), spear squid three varieties plate (squid ears, tentacles, spear squid), snow crab, surf clam sushi, and herring roe sushi. We enjoyed it casually this time. Thank you for the meal.

In Hokkaido, there is a famous conveyor belt sushi chain that I absolutely wanted to visit! After eating ramen, I ordered my usual favorites and drank a Sapporo Classic beer, and it was delicious! I thought I had seen everything on the touch panel, but on my way out, I took a photo of the menu list on the counter and realized there were a few items I wanted to try but missed. It was a bit disappointing to have missed out on trying them at a Hokkaido restaurant. I guess I didn't do enough research beforehand. Hopefully, I'll have a chance for a rematch someday. On Sunday at 4:30 PM, there were 19 groups waiting inside the restaurant. After waiting for a little over an hour, we were seated in a booth. This sushi restaurant is based in Okhotsk, and what impressed me the most was surprisingly the octopus, the best I've had. The variety of squid dishes was also a highlight, typical of Hokkaido. By the time we left at 7 PM, the wait time had increased to 2 and a half hours, and they had stopped taking any more reservations.

I went on a quick business trip to Hokkaido and wanted to eat sushi while I was there. I asked a local for recommendations and they suggested Triton for takeout. The sushi was fresh, the portions were generous, and I was completely satisfied. Next time, I want to visit the actual restaurant, but I heard it gets really busy at night so I'll make sure to go with plenty of time to spare.

I arrived a little early because the store opens at 11:00, thinking I wouldn't have to wait. I was wrong... Even though it was a weekday, there was a line! I hurried to the end of the line and luckily got in on the first round. The staff greeted me and the restaurant was lively. All the sushi was delicious! The toppings were large and the rice was just the right size. The fried chicken was also hot and tasty. By the time I left, there was a long line for lunch. I want to go again!

In Hokkaido, there is a famous conveyor belt sushi restaurant. In my opinion, places like Waraku and Triton are popular, but I had never been to the latter, so I decided to make a dash to the opening. Even though I arrived 30 minutes early, there were already 3-4 groups waiting, giving off a sense of a champion. Once inside, I was immediately seated and indulged in Hokkaido seafood, which was delicious no matter what I tried. The highlight for me was the salmon roe. I highly recommend ordering it with a Sapporo Classic beer. You won't regret it.
