万事屋 あなん
《2019.3.23 First Visit》I visited the restaurant around 6 pm on a Saturday. It was a day-long date with Pippi, starting with delicious coffee at Morihiko, a visit to Maruyama Zoo, and then moving on to Susukino. The ultimate destination of the day was, in fact, the original purpose of the visit! Let's go eat the crabs that Pippi loves! So, after doing some research and making a reservation about a week ago, we arrived at the restaurant. The highlight of the visit was, yes, the "All-You-Can-Eat Crab"!!! It was my first time having crab properly. The options were: - 90-minute All-You-Can-Eat Course ¥7,000 - All-You-Can-Drink ¥1,300 The all-you-can-eat crabs included "Snow Crab Legs," "King Crab Legs," and "Taraba Crab Legs." Additionally, "Shrimp Tempura," "Shrimp, Crab, Shrimp Sushi," and "Crab Chawanmushi" were also included in the all-you-can-eat menu! When we were seated, the set of "Snow Crab Legs," "King Crab Legs," and "Taraba Crab Legs" was already placed on the table. We informed the staff about the all-you-can-drink option and waited for our drinks to arrive. There wasn't much explanation about the course, so we just started eating after our drinks arrived. Since it was my first time eating crab properly, I didn't know how to peel them. Pippi kindly taught me how to do it, and even helped me with it. According to the restaurant rules, we could only order additional items after finishing the initial set of crabs. It took us about 60 minutes to finish the initial set, so we ordered an additional "Taraba Crab Leg" each. The 90-minute all-you-can-eat crab experience went by surprisingly fast! As for the taste, the Taraba Crab was rich and had a satisfying texture, truly fitting for the king of crabs! The King Crab had a different taste and texture, but was equally delicious. And, the Snow Crab. Let me tell you, I could eat the miso forever! Eating them side by side allowed us to appreciate the differences in taste and texture. The tempura was freshly fried and tasty. The sushi was okay, but since we wanted more crab, we peeled the Taraba Crab Legs and added them to make it more luxurious. The chawanmushi also had crab in it. Of course, we added more Snow Crab to make it a luxurious chawanmushi! I always had the impression that crabs were mainly for tourists, so I hadn't eaten them much before. This was my first time at an all-you-can-eat crab restaurant, and I must say, it's definitely worth it! By the end of the meal, I had become quite skilled at peeling crabs, so I thought, let's not forget this experience and come back for more crab. The rhythm is lively and in love mode!
