After having lunch in town, I visited McDonald's to find a snack for my afternoon beer, or should I say, day beer. The Chicken McNuggets 15-piece for 490 yen campaign was just right as a snack for my beer. I got two regular sauces and two limited-time sauces to take home. It's still a bit chilly for chairing in the garden, so I decided to have a home drinking session. Let's try the new sauces. First, the Tandoori Chicken Curry sauce. Hmm, it tastes as expected, pretty average. It might be a bit spicy for kids. Next, the Grilled Corn flavor sauce. Hmm, it tastes like the grilled corn snacks you often find, interesting but not something I would want to eat all the time. So, in the end, I stuck with the classic mustard sauce as my main choice. I chose the salad as my side menu, which is usually around 300 yen, so it was a great deal. The junky deliciousness of McDonald's is always a treat to have once in a while. The Bacon Potato Pie was also delicious with its creamy potato and salty bacon filling in a pie crust. I got a Sylvanian Families Flair cutlery set as the toy, which wasn't what I wanted but it was cute so I was happy. I'm curious about the current limited-time menu items, so I'll visit again soon.

Limited-time offer cheese cheese teriyaki burger that can only be purchased at a shop where the sale has ended. I have never encountered it before when I visited towards the end of limited-time offer burgers. However, this time it was available at any shop for a limited time, so I bought it as a single item to accompany my beer. I usually don't eat teriyaki burgers, but if it's a mythical burger that I can try, it's a different story. I had it as a snack with beer after eating ramen. When I looked inside, the W cheese of cheddar cheese and white cheddar looked delicious. Let's take a big bite! Yes, there is a cheese flavor, but it's just a regular teriyaki burger. I finally got to try the mythical burger that I had been curious about for years. It was simply delicious. Thank you for the meal!

The next day, I went to buy a double Big Mac for brunch and I saw a POP for macarons at the McCafe. I usually avoid sweet things, but I decided to buy them as a souvenir for my family, thinking it might be a topic of conversation. They were priced at 190 yen each, but if you bought 6, you would save 160 yen, so I asked for them. I got two each of vanilla, chocolate, and raspberry flavors. We had them as dessert after dinner. My family enjoyed them and said they were delicious. Despite being reasonably priced, the quality of the macarons from McDonald's was truly good. Thank you for the meal!

I had breakfast before watching a movie at Sapporo Factory! It's been a while since I had McDonald's breakfast. I had it at Aurora Town. The taste is still consistent, but the chairs are not very comfortable to sit on. Oh well, it can't be helped.笑

I went to McDonald's for a quick lunch and always get the Teriyaki Mcburger set. The fries were disappointingly limp and there were very few long fries, mostly short or greenish ones. It was pretty bad.

The ordinary but delicious tritip, with white cheddar cheese?! That's definitely delicious. Show me the performance of the Federation mobile suits! With that in mind, I'll make a run to McDonald's. I'll have the Newtype white tritip, spicy chicken nuggets, and to alleviate guilt, the Black Tri-Stars, I mean black oolong tea, please. Now, let's dig in. Just by looking at it, it already looks delicious! The melted white cheddar has a rich flavor. I also like the slices of pickles. During my visit to Sapporo on 22/05/03, I had dinner consisting of "Chicken Tata 370 yen & Ice Coffee M 120 yen (both at coupon price)." It had been a year and four months since I last visited the capital of Hokkaido. My purpose was to watch a live performance by the pop pianist "Harami-chan." First, I enjoyed the afternoon show. Next up was the night show with no setlist and improvised performances. However, I couldn't fight on an empty stomach. Armed with coupons brought from Asahikawa, I headed underground. I arrived at this place seeking speed. I ordered the limited-time Chicken Tata. Back when I used to work at the head office, I often bought this as a snack to fill my stomach while bar hopping in Susukino. Those were the days when it was a regular menu item. Eating Chicken Tata after about twenty years, the taste remained unchanged. I quickly drank the ice coffee while checking the time. It was delicious. If they bring it back again, I will definitely have it again.

Sunday. In Sapporo's Chuo Ward, in the underground shopping area Aurora Town, there is a McDonald's. I visited aiming for the 9:00 am opening time, and already two elderly men were waiting in front of the store. Just as I arrived at the store, the shutter opened. Perfect timing! Even among the morning McDonald's menu, there is the limited edition Teritama Muffin for spring. McDonald's commercials are really well done. Each time I see a limited menu item, I always feel like trying it. The Teritama Muffin set costs 550 yen, which includes the Teritama Muffin, hash browns, and a drink. It's the most expensive item on the morning Mac menu. I indulged in a luxury breakfast... The Teritama Muffin is generously topped with teriyaki sauce. It's irresistible for teriyaki lovers. The teriyaki sauce goes well with the light morning flavors. The egg and lettuce also complement each other. Hash browns are a favorite of mine. The medium size coffee is quite generous. They have partitions on the tables and have spaced them out by removing one table to maintain social distancing measures for COVID-19. I've used this store 3 to 4 times since returning to Sapporo, but this is the first time I've posted on Tabelog (laughs). I'll make sure to post regularly from now on.

I came to McDonald's in Aurora Town to have breakfast. I ordered the Bacon, Egg & Cheese McGriddle with an Earl Grey Iced Tea and Hash Browns. The McGriddle uses pancake-style buns soaked in maple syrup instead of regular buns, which pairs well with the salty taste of the egg and bacon. Both the Bacon, Egg & Cheese and the Sausage, Egg & Cheese I had before are delicious. However, I also found my favorite edamame and corn, so I decided to have them together. I had a Coca-Cola Zero for 100 yen, and my companion had an iced coffee for 100 yen. Surprisingly, the Coke Zero tasted really good to me that day. When I asked my companion about the coffee, they said it was a bit bitter. The "Edamame Corn" for 250 yen had a mild salt flavor, allowing us to enjoy the natural taste of the ingredients. So, I took a bite... The McMuffin was hot and freshly made, with a soft and chewy texture. The runny egg, melted cheese, and well-cooked sausage patty went really well together, and today's McMuffin seemed thicker than usual. The hash browns had the right amount of fluffiness and saltiness, and the occasional greasiness added to their appeal. Finally, I finished my Zero Coke and Iced Coffee. One noticeable item was a 50 yen discount coupon for the "Samurai Mac Seared Soy Sauce-Flavored Bacon Tomato Thick Beef 790 yen." I arrived in front of the store at 10:38 am because my transfer between JR and the subway was a bit tight. Just 2 minutes before the end of the morning menu at 10:30 am, the menu changed (lol). It couldn't be helped. I placed the coupon for the "Samurai Mac Seared Soy Sauce-Flavored Bacon Tomato Thick Beef 740 yen" and a 1000 yen bill in the cash tray and requested, "I'll eat in the store. I'll have an iced coffee." Later, I realized that the app on my phone also had a 50 yen discount (lol). Well, the brand here doesn't take more than 3 minutes from ordering to serving. Plus, instead of displaying the receipt number on the screen, the staff called out the number (lol). I found the layout of this store a bit awkward. From the outside, you can see inside through the glass without a partition separating the underground passage and the store. It's like a "fake terrace seat" design. If it bothers you, you can sit at a table further back, but the store is quite bright (lol). The burger looked quite impressive. The poppy seeds... when I hear that word, I remember "The poppy flowers bloom red~♪" (lol). It definitely has a satisfying taste. The lettuce seems a bit lacking, but the sliced onions are good. The overall balance of meat and vegetables is well done. However, the sauce... personally, I'm not a fan of "teriyaki burgers" or "Big Macs." Teriyaki burgers make your mouth messy, and with the Big Mac, you have to take it out of the box and eat it with your hands. Well, if you bring plenty of paper napkins, it's manageable. Today, I quickly unwrapped the paper and rushed to get some paper napkins (lol). Also, I always think that if they had wet wipes like KFC or Doutor, you could wipe your fingers after eating fries... Looking at past photos, it seems that only KFC and Doutor have wet wipes, right? (lol) Personally, I use leftover wet wipes from convenience stores to deal with it (lol). The nearby Minamishinkawa store closed at the end of February, and it will reopen as "McCafe by Barista" on September 16th at 7:00 am.
