On White Day, my husband bought me a lot of chocolates from "CACAO CAT," which was unusual because we usually buy online. He even went with me to buy them this time, instead of just ordering online. He kept asking me if I wanted this or that, and suggesting more to buy, even though I mentioned that it would add up to a significant amount. I ended up giving in to his suggestions, although I still refused to get the Gâteau Chocolat. We tried the "Nyan Good Choco" cookies, which come in White and Dark flavors, with 3 pieces each. The White chocolate was smooth and the Dark had a good balance of sweetness and bitterness. We also bought the "CACAO CAT Can" which contains 8 different chocolate flavors. I enjoyed the Café Latte and the 65% Cocoa the most. We also got some chocolates by weight, and the 80% Cocoa and Maple flavors were delicious. I recommend trying the 65% Cocoa and Maple flavors. We also tried the CACAO BAKE cookies, with Dark and Milk flavors, and found the Dark to be more to our liking. The Duck cookies with chocolate filling were also tasty, with different textures for each flavor. Lastly, we tried the "Nyama Choco" pralines, which were shaped like cats and had a nice almond crunch. I look forward to trying them with ice cream next time.

【Takeout】My wife wanted something, and it was this. A high-end chocolate factory that can only be bought in one place in Sapporo has opened in Yuubari, and they were having a direct sale today, so she asked me to take her there. Well, I wasn't really interested, but I wanted to eat soba, so we went. CACAOCAT Sapporo Minamisato store It didn't really feel like a store, more like selling by weight at the entrance of an office. It was too crowded to move, so I quickly went back to the car. I waited with Hanachan, and after about 20 minutes, my wife came back. She said she bought about 10,000 yen worth of stuff (;^_^A) I wonder what she's going to do with it, haha. Well, since we got it, I decided to have one too. Among the many varieties, my wife chose the one that seemed least sweet, so let's try it. A chocolate wrapped in silver foil like candy. It doesn't look very high-end at first glance. When I tried it, it was surprisingly bitter! It was quite hard and didn't feel like expensive chocolate at all (-_-;) Hmm... I still don't understand the value of chocolate. My wife is happy, so there's no problem, but it's just not my thing. If a big factory is built in Yuubari, it might create more jobs and bring a bit more liveliness. I can't speak for Toyama, but I hope rural areas can thrive in their own way. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal♪

On a day off, a restless father who couldn't laze around like a hyperactive child, quickly left his futon and headed out to the popular bakery "Heart Bread Antique" in Nango-dori 15-chome, where the new "Chocolate Origin Sapporo Nango-dori store (CACAOCAT)" had opened as an in-shop. Even though it was only 10 minutes after opening, there were already several customers lined up at the register. They had various types of chocolate neatly displayed for sale at 880 yen per 100g. I heard that they also had a store on the first floor of "Pivo", so I planned to visit there later, and decided to have some chocolate gelato here. The ladies in front of me were buying a lot, spending around 5,000 to 7,000 yen... the desire for sweet things in women is scary. I ordered a single serving of bitter chocolate gelato for 539 yen (for eating in). They also had fruit and vanilla flavors, but since it's a chocolate store, I went with chocolate. The staff asked if I wanted it for takeout or eating in (due to the different tax rates), and I chose to eat in. I sat down in the retro and classy space, which used to be used for all-you-can-eat bread. After a 6-minute wait, the gelato was brought to me. At first glance, the portion size made me question the price, but when I took a bite with the plastic spoon provided, it was delicious! It had a moist and mild bitterness, perfect for adult palates. It may not be as rich as Godiva's soft serve, but it's definitely worth a try for chocolate lovers. However, the price for a single serving of gelato was a bit hard to accept for someone like me who is budget-conscious. Later, I also visited the "Pivo" store in the afternoon. Thank you for the meal.

It's New Year's and many shops are closed, but I found this one that was open so I decided to visit. As a chocolate lover, I was excited to go. The shop had a variety of chocolates available for purchase by weight, with flavors like milk, dark, hazelnut, and unique ones like Yubari melon and pumpkin. I bought a selection of chocolates including milk, white, strawberry, matcha, hazelnut, orange, chocolate banana, royal milk tea, hojicha, pistachio, lemon, cocoa 65%, cocoa 80%, Yubari melon, black honey kinako, and cafe latte. The chocolates had a smooth and delicious melt-in-your-mouth texture. The milk and white chocolates were not too sweet, making them easy to enjoy. The cocoa 65% and 80% had a nice bitterness, while the royal milk tea had a lovely blend of tea and milk flavors. The hojicha had a toasty aroma, and the hazelnut and cafe latte paired well with the chocolate. The black honey kinako had a rich flavor, and the pistachio was a great match with the milk chocolate. The Yubari melon had a unique taste, and the lemon and orange chocolates had a nice balance of sweetness and acidity. Overall, I enjoyed the chocolates and would love to try more flavors in the future.

I had been curious about this place for a while and went to get some chocolate, but on that day they weren't serving gelato. They include the ingredient list for all 30 flavors, which is helpful, but the descriptions are quite something, like reading a dictionary! The melon flavor is made with melons from Yoichi, so they promote it a lot on Instagram. It's white chocolate-based and quite sweet, but not artificially so, making it easy to eat with a distinct Yoichi melon flavor. The 80% cacao flavor has a sour taste, which I'm not a big fan of, but since it's high cacao content, it's not very sweet, which I like (which is it?). The chocolate banana flavor has a subtle banana taste and a strong white chocolate flavor. The hojicha flavor has a good balance between hojicha and chocolate, making it one of the top flavors I tried this time. The pistachio base chocolate (probably milk chocolate) has a mild sweetness, making it easy to eat, and I really liked the pistachio flavor. The milk and white chocolate flavor had a nice balance between the less sweet milk chocolate on the outside and the white chocolate inside. The package was cute (I love purple). The royal milk tea flavor has a nice tea leaf aroma as soon as you open it. It smells like Earl Grey, with a strong tea leaf flavor. The base is probably milk chocolate. It's not very sweet, allowing the tea flavor to shine, so tea lovers should definitely try it! Although you can also buy it at Sapporo Station underground, if you have to choose from the many flavors available, you should definitely visit this shop. I'm glad I was able to visit this time! Thank you, Wu-ta-san!!! (((orz

On a certain weekday, I had the opportunity to visit the chocolate section that was added to a bakery located at 15 Nango-dori, Shiraishi-ku. The parking lot seemed to have enough space for a few cars. The interior of the store remained the same as the original bakery, with a small seating area now dedicated to selling chocolates, gelato, and cakes. The background music playing was mellow adult contemporary music. I decided to try the "Dark Chocolate Cake Slice (759 yen)" and a "Hot Coffee (264 yen)" as a set with a discount of 110 yen, totaling 913 yen. As I took a bite, I found the chocolate to be not too bitter but rather milky, with a slight hint of bitterness and cocoa acidity lingering. The chocolate was layered with a soft sponge cake that wasn't overly sweet, creating a harmonious balance. The coffee, although seemingly from a simple machine, was surprisingly better than expected and complemented the richness of the chocolate. The bakery also continued to sell their signature cat-shaped bread, showcasing their innovative spirit. Overall, it was a delightful experience.

I want to send this to the Osaka aunties❗ Sorry, I don't ship it❗ Oh well, can't be helped. It's like a drifting boat, so I bought a little. 30 varieties, that's impressive, isn't it? I was reminded of the past, thinking "Wow." When I was in the early years of elementary school, there was a section in the department store basement where candies and jellies were sold by weight in circular containers. My father casually picked one up and ate it. Clearly shoplifting. Then we walked past. As a child, I thought it was shoplifting. My father was unfazed and said it was just a taste test within expectations. Are people like this forgiven? The chocolates here are not in that realm. No taste tests here. Chocolates go well with whiskey, maybe I'll buy some for my grandchild. This is my confession from half a century ago. And then I tried it. Um, what flavor was it again? I have a clueless palate. In a way, the flavors are not overpowering. So, I can't tell. If it was LOOK chocolate, maybe, but for this dull old man, I can't tell. With 30 varieties, it's difficult, but there must be some decent flavors. I'll go there again, but I have a feeling nothing will change. Boom‼️

Cacao Cat, which has moved its headquarters to Yubari and is becoming more of a "Made in Hokkaido" brand, was popular in Shirokanedai. They have opened a factory in Hokkaido now. Personally, I didn't find it particularly unique, but they had delicious galettes and other treats. The cookies were soft and crumbly, making them a bit hard to eat, but they were tasty with coconut flavor. I heard they also have gelato, but unfortunately, it wasn't available that day. They offer sweets along with drinks in the café space, which looked really delicious. It might be a bit pricey, but I think their cakes are worth it. Thank you for the meal!

It seemed like it was part of the Antique chain, but it appears that it is now managed by DADACA, which recently relocated its headquarters to Yubari City. Welcome to Yubari, Hokkaido! We must support them. The most popular item is the Cocoa Cat Pick & Mix 100g for 950 yen. There are 28 flavors to choose from, and the recommended amount is 8-9 pieces per 100g. Since I didn't need that much, I decided to try the Dacquoise with chocolate and strawberry for 237 yen each, and the CACAOCAT madeleine for 172 yen. The bill was separate from Antique. The Dacquoise was decent for the price, but my daughter, after eating the madeleine, exclaimed that it was really delicious! Maybe next time, we'll try various flavors of madeleines. I hope they continue to do well in Yubari. It seems that gelato is a good deal on days with a 3 in them.

It's a place in Shiroishi-ku, located along Nango-dori in the 15th block of Nango. As always, please check the exact location on the map on Tabelog. I heard that a new chocolate shop has opened inside a bakery, so I went to check it out. I parked my car in the front parking lot and entered the shop. I looked at the products briefly and then went to the gelato case. Since it's a chocolate shop, I ordered a single scoop of "Cioccolata" in a cup and paid. I waited for my order next to the gelato case. The "Cioccolata" arrived quickly, and I took a photo inside the shop before heading back to my car. I tried it with a spoon and found it to be not too sweet with a strong chocolate flavor. Lately, single scoops of gelato have been slightly overpriced, so personally, I prefer Royce's chocolate soft serve over chocolate gelato in terms of quantity and price.

I recently visited this place out of curiosity, even though I have been avoiding chocolate. It used to be Antique's place, but now they also sell bread. There was a line of about 30 people! It's currently open for the grand opening. My wife and I debated whether to stop by since it's related to Antique's or just get ice cream, but after waiting in line for about 30 minutes, we ended up going in. The concept is interesting, but the taste wasn't to my liking. They also offer seating in a beautiful interior where you can enjoy coffee at a reasonable price. I bought the following items: Salty Milk - it was sweet with a hint of salt. Milk - tasted similar to chocolate sold in supermarkets. Orange Baked Good (194 yen) - strong orange flavor and aroma, balanced with chocolate in a crunchy texture, very delicious. Chocolate Madeleine (172 yen) - seemed like a basic madeleine, nothing special for the price. Double Gelato (745 yen) - Bitter chocolate and pistachio with berry topping (+86 yen), generous portion, visually appealing, satisfying on its own. The bitter chocolate gelato had a cocoa richness between high-end chocolate and regular chocolate, very tasty and easy to eat. The pistachio gelato lacked flavor and melted quickly, but paired well with the berry topping. Overall, everything was decent except for the pistachio gelato. This place needs someone to check if the products meet the standard before selling commercially. Some items may not justify the price. I hope the staff can use this feedback. Thank you for the meal.

The store has been pre-opened since October 8, 2022. I visited the day before the grand opening. Inside, there are 28 varieties of chocolate available for purchase by weight. Each piece costs 950 yen per 100g, so I bought 10 pieces for a total of 1,140 yen. The chocolate has a smooth texture and flavors like hazelnut and pistachio are delicious. I also tried the gelato, getting a double scoop of chestnut and chocolate flavors for 759 yen. The gelato was smooth and tasty, though not as soft as soft serve ice cream. Overall, it was a delicious experience, but I wonder which is a better deal between this and buying two Häagen-Dazs ice creams.

In the heart of Heartbread Antique, there is a shop called Nekoneko Shokupan where you can find a variety of CACAOCAT chocolates. The store has a separate register with a wide selection of chocolates to choose from. You can use vinyl gloves to pick and pack your chocolates in two different sizes of bags. The staff will seal the bags and provide you with a list of your purchases. They also offer cake sets, and if you visit on a day with a "3" in it, you can upgrade your double scoop of gelato to a triple for a great deal. The menu includes hot or iced coffee and hot Earl Grey tea. On cold weekdays, there are no customers dining in, but the gelato is easy to eat and doesn't melt quickly. The milk flavor is rich, the grape has a slight crispness and acidity, and the limited edition chestnut flavor is intense in taste and aroma. The napkins provided are large and easy to use. Overall, it was a delightful experience discovering this gem of a shop.

I had some free time before evening, so I took a break and stopped by a chocolate shop in Hokkaido that was known for its cat paw prints chocolates. I enjoyed a rich chocolate cake in their cozy seating area, which paired perfectly with a cup of coffee. The cake was delicious. I also bought some chocolates to bring back to the office on my way home.
