In the main street area, there was a drinking party. All-you-can-drink for 120 minutes for 3,500 yen! It was my first time visiting. - Appetizer - Assorted sashimi - Stone-grilled lamb Jingisukan - Crispy roasted seaweed and seaweed salad - Steamed chicken with grated ponzu sauce - Deep-fried autumn salmon with aromatic sauce - Pork and mushroom ankake rice - Dessert: Stone-grilled lamb Jingisukan! It was tender and good. Of course, it was paired with beer. When pairing with steamed chicken with grated ponzu sauce and sashimi, my colleague said, "Local sake menu is also available!" So, I decided to try various local sake. Therefore, I can't clearly remember if I ate the dishes after these three items or not. Drinking local sake on a weekday is like committing self-destruction (laughs)! Thank you for the meal.

After a mahjong tournament with my coworkers, we went to a nearby izakaya in the same building without a reservation and with a group of over 10 people. They welcomed us warmly even before opening hours. The food was served promptly after we placed our order. We had a great time socializing with our colleagues during the all-you-can-drink session. It was a wonderful experience.

Welcome! Located in the Chuo Ward, in front of Odori Station, this building houses only this restaurant on this floor. The restaurant has a deep interior space and attracts mainly groups of office workers for after-work gatherings, so it is usually quite full. The staff seems to be too few for the capacity, making it a bit crowded. The atmosphere near the windows is recommended for avoiding the heat. The menu includes many dishes with the word "hane" (feather) in them, which are recommended. Starting with the plum wine, the marinated salmon roe is disappointing, leaving a greasy aftertaste. The warm ham and asparagus salad is served at a temperature that is too warm for a salad. The sashimi platter includes various types of fish, but without any explanation, it may be difficult to identify them. The grilled surf clam with butter is crunchy and flavorful, but the clams are small. The lamb stone-grilled Genghis Khan dish has a high acidity sauce that may be too strong for the lamb, so it is recommended to use salt from the table instead. The tempura with eggplant, asparagus, and baby corn does not come with dipping sauce, which may be a mistake. The sushi rolls are made without the expertise of a sushi chef, resulting in a disappointing flavor. The dessert of melon is a subtle ending to the meal. Overall, this restaurant may be a good choice for enjoying a lively atmosphere with colleagues, but for a more relaxing experience, it may be better to visit another establishment.

"Hanemon-ya" is a restaurant where I have visited a few times before. This time was my second visit to the main store, where we had our first year-end party of the year. Since it's the season for year-end parties, we made a reservation in advance, but it wasn't too crowded. We opted for the all-you-can-drink option, and each person ordered their own dishes. The Hanemori platter is a popular choice. It was quite cold, so we also ordered a hot pot. We used a coupon, but as mentioned in other reviews, the staff's explanations were not very clear and the service wasn't great. Some dishes were brought to us after a long wait. When we asked the staff how to make the hot pot, they just said to "put whatever you like in it in any order," but when I asked an older woman who seemed like the owner, she kindly explained the proper way to do it. The owner seemed to be attentive, but I wonder who is in charge of training the staff.

Dinner in Sapporo. The designated restaurant by Mr. N is called "Hanemon-ya" located near the Clock Tower on the 2nd floor of a building. We started with draft Sapporo Classic beer and then decided on the all-you-can-drink option for 1500 yen, which includes various types of sake in addition to the beer. The first dish we ordered was the raw lamb stone-grilled Genghis Khan for 600 yen, which was tender and delicious. We also had a ramen salad with a hot spring egg, a miso grilled squid dish, a sashimi platter, and a large grilled Atka mackerel. The food was plentiful and tasty. The highlight was the grilled dish with seafood and vegetables, which was simple yet delicious. We enjoyed several types of sake as well. Overall, a great dining experience at a reasonable price.

I visited on a business trip to Hokkaido! Since I came all the way to Hokkaido, I asked for recommendations around Sapporo Station and was suggested this place d=(^o^)=b They said it was cheap and delicious. I made a reservation and entered! The restaurant was about half full and we were guided to a tatami room (* ̄∇ ̄)ノ ■ What I ordered - Sashimi platter with five types of fish such as yellowtail, tuna, and squid. The fish was fresh, big, and delicious (^_^) Truly Hokkaido! - Grilled Atka mackerel. A big Atka mackerel was served! The flesh was tender and tasty, although not as good as the one I had in Hokkaido before. - Garlic beer steamed clams. Goes well with beer! The crunchy texture of the clams and the garlic flavor were irresistible! - Lamb meat. The meat commonly used in Genghis Khan dishes. It wasn't too gamey and was tender, so it was delicious ♪ - Buttered potatoes. A big potato comes with butter on top. The way the butter melts is truly artistic. Sprinkle some salt and it brings out a great flavor! It was delicious! Overall, everything was delicious but what left the biggest impression was definitely the sashimi. I think it's recommended for those looking for something cheap and delicious! Thank you for the meal! ===========

Well, the place I had been curious about was this restaurant. Let's start with the good things first. They offer all-you-can-drink for 888 yen for 75 minutes without beer. They have a variety of shochu brands like Kuro Kirishima, Tantakatan series, and Hokkaido no Homare series. Their sake lineup includes brands like Momokawa, Rokkasen, Tateyama, and Suishin. With such a selection at this price, it's definitely worth it. Oh, but there's one issue. The beer is lukewarm. I'm not a big fan of beer, but I prefer it to be ice-cold. It's a bit too warm, around 8 degrees Celsius. Now, onto the food. On the day I visited, the signature dishes were half off. I ordered the sashimi platter and shimahokke to try them out. As they are the signature dishes, you can't go wrong with them. In short, the sashimi was decent. The tamagoyaki was okay, and the zangi with mochi meat was sweet but well-fried. However, the freshness of the sashimi, which is supposed to be their specialty, was lacking. The scallops were not fresh, the octopus was tough, the salmon was small, and the supposed yellowtail sashimi was not firm but rather soft. This is supposed to be their specialty. I don't know when they sourced these ingredients, but the freshness is lacking. Because of this, I hesitated to order items like crab and shrimp. As for the shimahokke, the freshness was not an issue. However, the preparation was not done well. I don't know where they prepared it, but it seems like they didn't dry it enough after opening it. The bone-in part was more tender, so this is not acceptable. Even if it was machine-dried, it's a waste. Shimahokke used to be a low-quality fish, but now it's supposed to be a top-tier grilled fish. However, probably due to skimping on half-day drying, it's not bad but not at a level where I would want to order it again. It's a shame if people from outside the region think this is how it is. If I were to come back, it would be for the all-you-can-drink deal and the nice view. The secluded atmosphere and the interior design are quite promising. All-you-can-drink with zangi and lamb meat is just the right combination. It's just that the turnover rate of customers is low (laughs).

This is an izakaya where I drank with local acquaintances. Located along Sapporo's Ekimae-dori street, on the upper floors of a mixed-use building, this izakaya seems convenient for local gatherings or casual drinking parties. It's worth noting that just a few years ago, the old mixed-use buildings lining Ekimae-dori were still standing, but now large-scale redevelopment projects have sprung up all over the place. These kinds of typical Sapporo mixed-use buildings are becoming increasingly rare. We took the old elevator up with a clunking sound and entered the restaurant. We were seated at a table by the window and placed our orders. I ordered a Sapporo Classic beer, but the server suggested the all-you-can-drink option, which I declined as I was planning on having a light adult drink. For snacks, we ordered asparagus butter grilled, baron butter, jumbo hokke grilled, and octopus zangi. I don't usually go to izakayas for drinking and eating in Sapporo, but the freshly grilled snacks paired well with the beer. I've been to many quirky izakayas in Tokyo, so this was no problem for me. After a while, I found out the real reason behind the all-you-can-drink recommendation - it's more cost-effective if you drink three or more glasses of draft beer. In the end, I had four glasses of beer in about 90 minutes. We caught up with each other over Hokkaido's classic snacks and completed our light drinking session as planned. It's a normal izakaya near the station. Well, there may not be many opportunities to use it for business trips or travel that lean towards the evening, but it might be handy for a quick drink with acquaintances or colleagues. By the way, why were all the male and female servers so energetic?

In January 2014, I visited a restaurant in Hokkaido with my work colleagues. We ordered all-you-can-drink and started off with some Genghis Khan (grilled lamb). I've loved lamb since I was a child, and it goes well with beer. We didn't have a moment to catch our breath before a sashimi platter arrived, featuring various Hokkaido specialties. However, they were all a bit watery and not that great. I thought maybe sake would be better if the food was tasty, but I went back to Genghis Khan and had my third glass of draft beer. Next up was a surprise - a huge hokke (Okhotsk Atka mackerel). The flesh was firm and packed, but it was a pity that it lacked the rich flavor of fat. So, I finally switched to sake. I had Asahikawa's Otoko Yamahai, which had a smooth taste that paired well with Japanese dishes. As the alcohol flowed, the conversation with my colleagues became livelier, and it turned into a fun party.

This is a review of a restaurant visited on the second night of a business trip in Sapporo. The name "Hanemon" comes from handling non-standard items. We ordered chicken cartilage karaage, Hanemon salad, salmon ochazuke, and a Hanemon platter (10 items). The taste and price of the dishes were average. However, the sashimi platter "Hanemon Mori" was very delicious and had a good amount. There was a 2-hour all-you-can-drink course for 1,500 yen, which was great for me as a non-drinker. We drank quite a bit with three people and the total bill was 9,800 yen.

The friendly landlady runs the place, and the portions are generous with affordable prices. However, the downside is the unhelpful part-time staff and the slow service for both food and drinks. It took about 20 minutes for the first drink to arrive, and 30 minutes for the first dish after ordering. It seems like the staff lack hospitality or motivation. It might be better for group events rather than individual visits. Personally, I won't be returning despite the good food and landlady. This place is more suited for people who prioritize eating a lot for a low price without caring much about service or hospitality. It's disappointing as I had high hopes.

Inside the store, there is a large raised floor area with a bright brown color scheme. The owner greets you warmly with a cheerful voice and a smile, which gets you pumped up to drink a lot. The menu mainly consists of seafood dishes, with a wide variety of sashimi and sushi options. We ordered the banquet menu, but when we requested a seafood bowl based on the situation, they were able to accommodate us, which made us very happy. The cost performance is excellent, but I don't have many opportunities to visit because I often go to Susukino. However, I will try to visit again when I have the chance.

I met my sister after a long time and we went to the restaurant with her boyfriend. It was not very crowded as it was a Sunday. We love sashimi, and the sashimi platter here is perfect for three people. My sister's boyfriend was surprised by the generous portion of the sashimi platter as it was his first time at the restaurant. We ordered a salad, chicken tataki, and other dishes along with the sashimi platter. The chicken tataki was delicious with green onions on top. We enjoyed chatting and having a great meal. The sashimi platter included octopus, squid, tuna, and salmon, among others. The chilled tofu with mountain wasabi that we ordered at the end was also very tasty. It was a wonderful time spent with my sister whom I hadn't seen in a while.

This is a seafood izakaya located on a back street near Sapporo Rich Hotel. The recommended dish is the "Hane Mori," a sashimi assortment that is quite generous even for two people. Other menu items include ramen salad, grilled salmon belly, stingray fin, grilled salmon collar, and red snapper. The "Hane Mori" was a good value in terms of portion size, but the taste was lacking. The grilled and dried fish dishes seemed to be more satisfying as appetizers. Unfortunately, they were out of golden eye snapper that day, and the red snapper dish took a long time to arrive, leaving little time to eat within the 2-hour time limit. The all-you-can-drink option is 1500 yen, but the menu selection is limited, so ordering individual drinks might be better. Personally, I don't think I will revisit this place.

The restaurant near my company was always crowded with salarymen, so I decided to give it a try with a colleague. The place was indeed busy, but I was surprised by the poor quality and presentation of the food. On top of that, the service was terrible - they forgot to bring matches, the orders took too long, they didn't check on us, and the staff had bad manners. However, the bill was surprisingly cheap. If you're just looking for a cheap place to drink, it might be worth it. Personally, I won't be going back.

I bought a meal on Groupon so I could eat cheaply! However, there are not many staff members, so it takes a long time to place an order. Naturally, it also takes a long time for the food to be brought to you. It might be a good idea to hire more part-time staff.

It seems like the main focus of this place is all-you-can-drink, but the chu-hai and wine options are not that great. They have mostly sweet potato shochu, not much barley or rice. They do have a variety of sake though, which is rare. The food was a bit disappointing, the hokke fish was a bit watery, but the hokkigai and lamb stone grill were delicious. It wasn't too crowded on a Saturday night, so we were able to relax, but there were only two female staff on the floor, so it took a while to take our orders and we were forgotten at times, which was unfortunate.
