Well, on this day, my daughter and her husband and I went to Susukino for an all-you-can-eat and drink to boost our spirits! The all-you-can-eat option includes "35 items for 120 minutes for 2,948 yen", so you can pretty much eat anything you want. And with the addition of the drink all-you-can option for 1,180 yen, we were ready to go with some draft beer to start. We started with "salted cabbage" and draft beer, then the red hot pot arrived, followed by edamame, white cucumber, and kimchi. It's nice not to have to wait for drinks when you start, right? The "seseri yaki" arrived and it was really delicious, the sauce and grilling were just right. The red hot pot was ready, and I really like the unique sweetness, umami, and spiciness of the soup. I love it so much that I even buy the soup to make hot pot at home. I especially like the fried tofu and tofu in this soup. The "miso kushikatsu" had a sweet taste typical of Nagoya, which was a bit too sweet for my liking, but since it was all-you-can-eat, I still enjoyed it. The "tebasaki karage" also had that Nagoya vibe, with a slightly sweet and crispy exterior and tender meat inside. We added more ingredients to the hot pot and adjusted the spiciness along the way. It's great to be able to adjust the spiciness to your liking. After eating and drinking to our heart's content, we were full and satisfied. The experience was so fulfilling and I am truly grateful for such a great meal. Thank you for the feast!

Located on the third floor of the gourmet building "G Dining" along Minami 3-jo Street in the Susukino area. In the past, I have visited this place without a reservation several times and couldn't get a seat due to it being full, but this time I was able to enter normally, perhaps due to the impact of the coronavirus. The restaurant has many table seats and a bright atmosphere. There were many young customers, probably because they offer all-you-can-eat options. They have a variety of Nagoya-style food menus, but this time I ordered the popular "Akakara Nabe (¥1,089)" and "Akakara 3-variety platter (¥1,089)". I chose level 3 of spiciness for the Akakara Nabe, but it wasn't very spicy, so if you like spicy food, you may want to choose a higher level. I added "kishimen (¥418)" halfway through the hot pot and finished with "zosui (¥418)". The dishes were all delicious and satisfying, but the downside was that the serving time was slow, despite having many staff members. The prices are reasonable, so it's a good option when you're hungry.

Welcome. ---------- December 2020 ----------Located at Nishi 3 Minami 3, facing west, on the 3rd floor of G Dining, right in front of the elevator opening |o| °д°)ノ|Yu Gachon Table and private rooms (if available?) similar to the Susukino branch. The layout of the restaurant is not much different. The 2-seater tables by the window offer a view of the night scenery. As expected from its Kyushu origin, they have "kawa kushi" skewers. The "Kachuusha" on the wall is meant for girls to wear, making them "Onna Otome" (fierce girls) haha. Now, due to the current situation, they open at 3:00 PM, perfect for daytime drinking with the "Senbero Set = 2 drinks + shiokyu, kimchi, tsukune yaki + miso katsu." It's great for daytime drinking, but I'm also curious about their nighttime food and drinks. It comes with "nama" (draft beer) so you can choose between "beer" and "highball" (= ´∀´)ノ凵゛. The miso katsu is small but the meat is tender and flavorful with a good taste of miso. With this set, you can get the "chicken Karaage" for half price (240 yen). The "miso katsu" is also served, so let's order it together. The small portion of 5 pieces is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, a good choice for those who like spicy dishes. I really want to eat the "seseri black pepper yaki" continuously in a food and drink course haha.

I love the red hot pot at this restaurant so I often go there. I went for the all-you-can-eat option for the first time! The serving speed was a bit slow, maybe because there were few staff members, but it was so delicious that I didn't mind. Haha. It's getting colder now, so I will definitely use it again.

Around 12:00 AM, two people visited the restaurant. The customers were mostly young, coming in groups of 2 to 4 or 5. There were about 15-16 table seats available, and the partitions provided a sense of privacy. We ordered chicken wings and onion salad as side dishes, and a spicy level 2 hot pot. We found that a spice level of 2 or 3 was the most delicious. The sweetness of the broth and the perfect amount of spiciness were well balanced, allowing the flavors of the ingredients to shine through. The tofu absorbed the broth wonderfully and was extremely delicious. We ended the meal with a porridge, which was just the right amount for two people. The all-you-can-drink soft drink option for 500 yen was great, with a wide variety of choices available.

I visited Akakara for the first time because I wanted to try their 10 times spicier hot pot. It seems like the 10 times spicier option is like a challenge menu at the Shin-Kotoni store, so I looked it up and came to this location. When it comes to hot pot, you can't order just one serving at any restaurant, but ordering two servings alone is too much. So, I invited my super close boss who loves super spicy food to join me! This is our second stop today. A young lady explained everything according to the manual, and we ordered the 10 times spicier hot pot. By the way, you can choose the spiciness level for the Akakara omelet too, so we went with 10 times spicier. We also got a drink-all-you-can deal with a coupon. The place seemed quite popular as it was crowded. The hot pot was really delicious, it matched my taste perfectly. It's not just spicy, there's a sweet flavor too. Maybe it's miso? The 10 times spicier option was no problem for us, we could handle even spicier. But the base was so tasty that we kept eating more! The omelet was also delicious! More customers kept coming in later, including many foreigners. There were too many staff members, it felt a bit overwhelming. The young lady servers were all over the place in the dining area!

I went to a bird-themed restaurant and got a message from a friend to join them. We shared the remaining hot pot and had cheese risotto as the finishing dish. Later, the hot pot arrived... and it was spicy! I'm not sure how spicy my friend made it, but the other two also said it was spicy, so it must be. However, the cheese was not too gooey, but it went well with the rice. The initial sweetness of the cheese followed by the spiciness, all washed down with beer. It was quite addictive. What I really liked about this place was that the staff always had a smile on their face when taking orders or serving dishes. It may be common in some restaurants, but it's not easy to find such friendly staff in chain restaurants. Even though I couldn't eat much this time, I still had a good impression of the place and would like to visit again.

When it comes to hot pot, it has to be spicy! Spicy food is the best in cold weather, right? This was my second time visiting this restaurant. They accommodated my earlier reservation time, provided seating suitable for the occasion, and the staff were all very friendly, making it a fun time. The dishes were consistently delicious, and the beef intestines were amazing! Be careful though, the ramen at the end is quite a large portion even for one person!

The staff's attitude was too cold, even though the hot pot was delicious... What a shame.

Because I went in winter, the restaurant was very crowded, but the staff were polite. It had been a while since I last visited, but the food was very delicious. I would like to visit again.

This is my first visit in two years. Learning from my last experience, this time I chose a spice level of 2 for the hot pot. At level 2, I could taste not only the spiciness but also the richness and sweetness, making it delicious. For the finale, they offered two options: ramen and zosui (rice porridge). Originally, I asked for ramen as the finale but tried to change it to kishimen halfway through, which unfortunately didn't go through. Next to us, another hot pot had risotto as the finale, so I had a small taste of that too. The cheese flavor was rich and tasty. The only downside was the slow drink service. It was so slow that I wondered if they had even taken our order. Despite having many attractive staff members, the service needs improvement. Thank you for the meal.

The boss brought along his subordinates and we were a group of eight people! When it gets cold and you want to eat and drink a lot, this place is perfect! Some of them can't eat fish, some can't eat certain vegetables, it's all a bit confusing, so Akakara is a convenient choice for a revisit. We divided into two teams: four who can handle spicy food and four who can't. The spicy team ordered the Level 8 spicy hot pot, while the non-spicy team went for Level 4. Actually, Level 4 was still pretty spicy (laughs). We cheers with our drinks and start eating and drinking. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the Akakara hot pot which was delicious with its combination of spiciness and ingredients. The egg rolls, okonomiyaki, and sausages were also tasty for the price. However, the meat dishes were a bit cheap in quality. The dessert in the last photo is what one person ate (laughs). It's a budget-friendly all-you-can-eat and drink restaurant where you can be satisfied. I'll definitely come back again. Thank you for the meal!

It's been a while since I last visited. As it's getting colder, I decided to have some spicy hot pot. Since it was late, there were only about 3 groups of customers in the spacious restaurant. I don't mind spicy food, but my friend isn't a fan, so we asked for two levels of spiciness in the soup. Thank you for accommodating our request. We ordered soup number 1 and 3, and started with a toast with beer. They have a wide selection of sake. We also ordered sashimi, chicken tail, edamame, and other snacks. The sashimi wasn't very fresh, but the chicken tail was delicious. The hot pot was really tasty, but it's always on the strong side whenever I come here. It leaves a strong impression. We finished with a delicious rice porridge.

We visited the famous Nagoya cuisine restaurant, Akakara-san, which has become quite popular. As a Hokkaido resident who isn't particularly fond of sweet red miso, I still love spicy hot pot! The all-you-can-eat hot pot is 2680 yen, with an additional all-you-can-eat menu for 300 yen, and all-you-can-drink for 1020 yen, totaling 4000 yen. It's a great deal for all the food you can enjoy for that price! I went with two colleagues. We started by choosing the level of spiciness for the hot pot - one person couldn't handle too spicy, so we went with level 7. But the rest of us were fine with it, so we ordered a second round at level 10, which was a bit spicier but still delicious. We finished off with some delicious thick noodles to complement the spiciness. We also tried the miso kushikatsu, which wasn't very popular, but the chicken wings were tasty and we kept ordering more. The pork belly with salt was a perfect match with rice. The grilled dumplings were average, the beef kalbi was a bit cheap-tasting, and the seseri was delicious and chewy. You can have unlimited ice cream for dessert, which was a nice touch. Overall, there were some hits and misses, but it's a great spot for those who love spicy food and have a big appetite. Cheers!

I was brought to this restaurant by my workout buddies. It's a place I've never heard of or found on Tabelog. The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of the D Dining Building, which made me even more curious. Despite it being a Sunday, the place was about 80% full. There were a lot of young people and women. Perhaps because we had a reservation, the older gentlemen and ladies were given a spacious area. We opted for the all-you-can-drink option and their famous spicy red hot pot, and then ordered other dishes freely. The appetizer was pasta-based and had a nice flavor, raising our expectations for the rest of the meal. The spicy red hot pot allowed you to choose the level of spiciness, and I went with the standard and most popular level 3. The Caesar salad was delicious, the miso skewered pork cutlet was satisfying with just one piece, and the fried chicken wings were different in seasoning from what I'm used to in Hokkaido. The red hot pot with cheese-filled omelet was amazing, with perfectly cooked eggs and gooey cheese. As for the main dish, the red hot pot was spicy and delicious, even at the standard level 3. Midway through eating the ingredients, the stubborn older gentlemen requested ramen be added, which was served with thick straight noodles, different from Sapporo noodles but still tasty. For dessert, we had risotto, which was also delicious. We also tried adding flat noodles to the hot pot, which turned out great and then turned it into a porridge for a different yet delicious ending. I was so full from all the carbs that I didn't have room for dessert. It was the first time I had been so satisfied with just a hot pot meal. The next day, I experienced some discomfort, so be cautious if you have a sensitive stomach.

As it's getting colder, it's the season for hot pot, so I went to Akakara which I wanted to try! It was around dinner time on Sunday, so I thought I could get in without a reservation. We were seated right away, and I ordered all-you-can-drink beer! Since my friend had been here before, I let them handle the ordering. We ordered the level 5 spiciness for the Akakara hot pot. Apparently, the normal spiciness level is 3. I thought it wasn't that spicy at first, but as I kept eating, my tongue gradually started to tingle! For dessert, we ordered the No. 1 handsome ramen. Not satisfied, I still wanted to eat rice, so we also ordered porridge, and the two of us girls finished everything! We also had some side dishes, enjoyed our drinks, and left feeling satisfied! In this cold hot pot season, I definitely want to come back again!!!

On a certain day in November 2014, this was my first visit to this place. It was really cold, and the restaurant I had planned to go to was packed, so I couldn't get in (actually, I've been turned away two days in a row now). I was seated at a somewhat awkward table, but I tried to stay positive. I ordered a hot pot, red mozzarella cheese (wait, maybe the menu name is different), and chicken skin crackers. The hot pot was brought out already cooked and placed on a burner. The staff told me, "It's already finished, so don't turn on the heat. When it cools down, turn on the heat." (I actually never turned on the heat). It was delicious as usual. I chose level 3 spiciness, and it gradually became spicier. The chicken skin crackers were incredibly tasty! A must-try! When it comes to hot pot, it's usually eaten as a finishing touch, but for some reason, I didn't feel like finishing it off... Thank you for the meal!
